Inconsistent product. Ive been to the Human Bean three times this year and had ordered the same drink, a Java Chip Granita with Ghirardelli chocolate with almond milk. The first time the it was great, loved it. The second time it was bland, no taste of espresso. I returned it and a different lady was happy to remake it and it was great, just like the first time. I went there today and once again, the product was different. I had to order it with coconut milk because they were out of almond milk. The flavor was good but it was liquid, no frappe consistency at all. I point it out to the young man and he assured me it comes out like that because of the alternative milk. I know the coconut milk will not make it so liquid but didnt feel like arguing.I want to support small businesses and local businesses but they need to offer a consistent and competitive product. I feel like a wasted $12.50.In the mean time, Im not coming back.

I like the food and drinks here but honestly I’m disappointed with the Tucson AZ establishment. They are frequently out of items . Seems to be common these days as of Oct 2021. I think Human Bean Tucson needs to have these items available and not substitutes. I mean this is not on occasion it’s like every week! For over a month and half now. I maybe get what I want less than a third of the time the rest hasn’t been a success. That’s pretty low and just not great for a positive review.

WHOA!!!! This is delish. I had the cold brew with cinnamon...the best!!! My friend ordered the Java Chip and loved it!!!!! It can be pricey but im glad I came. 😋😋😋😍🥰🥰

I love this place. The staff are so sweet and amazing people. I have stomach problems especially when it comes to coffee but their coffee dont give me stomach problems. And their prices are very affordable and there sizes are big. Overall I love this place and I give it an 5/5

I am extremely picky about coffee, perhaps it is because I always have lattes, so I can actually taste the coffee. Out of the popular 3 coffee chains in Tucson, this is the best. I went through the drive-thru, and it was very quick. I tried my husbands drink...which was a cookies and cream concoction. It was great, if you like that much sugar and dont care if you can taste the coffee or not. If you want to taste good coffee, try this place!

First time here with my wife and asked them to surprise me after explaining different flavors I liked... AND THEY DIDNT DISAPPOINT! Im grateful the crew was willing to make something and asked me to try it before I left as well! Im looking forward to making another trip in the future to try something else different 🤗

I tried to get a coffee here for the first time today (10/1/21). I drink something really simple... An iced Americano with cream. One nice girl took my order and let me chat at her about how much I loved Mexican hot chocolate. Another nice girl at the window took my payment. Then she presented my drink...There was no cream and no ice. Well, maybe five ice cubes survived, but you could see a definite line between the coffee at the bottom and the melted ice at the top. I told her I had asked for cream twice when ordering, but obviously nice girl #1 hadnt gotten the order right.I watched the girl remake it and explain they use hot water and it melts the ice. She was pretty matter of fact about it - like, duh, hot water melts ice. I told her some accomodations needed to be made to ensure my ice drink had ice in it. Like, I dont know... maybe please add the cream to the espresso, pour it over the ice and then add some more ice and water to make it an Americano? Nice girl #2 was clearly trying so hard but then she forgot the cream. And then I notice half my espresso sitting in her mixing cup still. She tries to hand me a faintly coffee colored cup of watery cream.I couldnt proceed after this. If you dont know how to tend bar, dont work as a bartender. If you dont know how to make coffee, dont be a barista. My first guess is that the training at Human Bean is deficient. Theres probably no discussion of coffees evolutionary history or what balances a cup. I have a very simple coffee order, but today, I asked for a refund and left empty handed.

Love the coffee & breakfast sandwiches. Received 4 stars because my last few experiences the person working the window was rude and gave poor service. First, she kept cutting me off as I placed my order. Second, after taking my order she had to come back to confirm it multiple times, because she didnt write anything down or put anything in the register. Also these ladies, it was 2 different ladies each occasion yet they had the same problems, didnt cook my breakfast sandwiches long enough, so they were cold in the middle. I didnt realize until I was already driving away. She also gave me the wrong sandwich all together the last time. I asked for bacon croissant and was sent home with a sausage bagel.

Chai tea lattes are more watery than anything. I also think they shouldnt offer to toast it should just be how the muffin tops come. The muffin tops are SUPER YUMMY though! The girl working the line outside while it was rainy was more engaging than the one who threw our drinks at us at the window.

It was mine and my besties first time going to this place and we enjoyed our quick stop! Menu was easy to understand and had many non-dairy options easy to find. The chocolate covered espresso bean on top was a cute little touch that sets it apart from other coffee shops weve been to. Only downside is such a small parking lot, but it was wasnt so much a detriment that we wont be back.

Way overpriced for what you get. My cappuccino barely tasted like coffee, it tasted like some weird candy syrup was added to it. Gross. There are way better coffee shops in Tucson. Skip this one.

I dont drink coffee much but this place is amazing I got me a Mexican chocolate coffee and it was so delicious. I would definitely recommend this place they also have breakfast sandwiches and muffin tops and the customer service is excellent

They have the worst customer service of any coffee establishment I’ve ever visited. I asked to add caramel to a chocolate drink and they questioned my taste and visibly judged me for requesting it. I asked to use my free drink that I had on the app and they did not, so I had to pay a ridiculous price for a mediocre drink.

It’s been a delightful experience up until this evening. I’m sad to say that the service was utterly slow and i ordered a Carmel granita and got literally only caramel and milk in my cup. I understand it is inconsiderate to go somewhere close to close...but it was 8:15 when I ordered and they close at 9.

All Im gonna say is they asked me if the cream they put in was enough or if I wanted more! I love it!... I ended up getting a bit more cream 🙂🤣

What a great coffee place! The Snowy Mocha is insanely awesome, and the ladies working the Saturday morning shift when we visited were exceptionally friendly and fun to visit with!

The Human Bean has only drive thru, but we never felt pressured to quickly decide what we want - the place is by a busy road, but we were usually pretty lucky and there were no cars in front of us. So far we tried cappucino without any extra added flavour, chai smoothie, cold brew, breakfast burritos, next time we will be for sure back for the peach special (I keep on forgetting about) and more smoothies!

Great little coffee drive through. Good selection of drinks as well as a few snacks. If you plan to walk up to there side walk up window beware that you may be boxed in where you park as the parking is very tight and lines can be very long. I recommend the snowy white mocha

Cute coffee shop and love the candy with the drink; however, a blonde guy keeps charging us a tip without asking. If he had asked, I would have given one since he was walking out to take our order, but he didnt and stole instead. Its not the first time either, just the first time that I asked for a receipt for proof. Instead of my order being around $13 (which is the total I was verbally given), it was more than $15. If you plan on going there, which we wont be anymore, then please ask for a receipt.Edit: After being in touch about the first issue, we contacted the owners again and they were quick to rectify the issue and are looking into it. So hopefully something comes of this.

Went because we enjoyed the coffee in Bullhead City AZ. Got a large Iced coffee- not great. Purchased a pound and a half of coffee, French roast and Espresso- I got only 1/2 a pound total. I live 40 Miles away so returning is a huge hassle. I emailed the company and got no response. They need a visit from weights and measures so they can stop ripping people off. Huge disappointment- we were looking forward to this location opening up. Get a scale that’s accurate! Wasted 30 dollars of HARD EARNED money. This didn’t even include the tip!

Good local coffee spot, nice selection of hot and cold beverages. They offer several lactose alternatives/dairy free options. Among the coffee selections they also have good smoothies. And Happy Hour is a bonus!

I always have the best experience at the Human Bean! I love my favorite drink which was recommended by I believ Maddie. But you must try an Iced Breve with honey, vanilla and lavender. I did change mine to a oatmilk latte. I also really enjoy the chocolate covered espresso bean!

Carlos and Gigi did an amazing job walking us through the menu and making sure my fiance enjoyed her drink even though she doesnt like coffee. The coffee is okay not the best I’ve tried. However, I ordered two chorizo breakfast burritos. They were little microwaved burritos. Not even chorizo just seasoned ground beef. I could tell they are microwaved cause they were a little cold in the middle. Do not order any sort of food from here. False advertisement

Love their coffee better than Starbucks and Dutch Brothers. Definitely way better than Dutch Brothers! Also, their staff is always super friendly and helpful. I always ask for a surprise drink and they never fail to pleasantly please with a new surprise each time!

This was our first time here and we are very disappointed. It tasted watered down. Even with 2 shots in them, there was no feeling of caffeine intake. I will not come here again and hope they improve the quality of their products.

1st visit Chai Tea Smoothie was amazing the chocolate coffee bean on top was amazing. My daughter and I loved it! Better prices than most places $5.00 for a 20oz. After 5pm you cannot get a warm muffin as they turn off their oven. A suggestion put a menu at the window where you order. I had to reference back to the picture on my phone. We will definitely be back!

I went to the Wilmot and East 22nd location in Tucson on 04/18/2021. Normally, they make my drinks good during the morning but I went around 8:03pm, which is an hour before they close and I get its almost closing time. I was greeted by a young man who took my order but must not have cared about taking the order correctly. I ordered a 32 oz large iced peppermint mocha and 20 oz medium ACAI smoothie. Instead I was given a peppermint flavored coffee and a mango or pineapple flavored smoothie according to my wife for her smoothie drink. I took the peppermint coffee back for a replacement but I didnt realize the smoothie was also wrong because it wasnt tasted or looked at by my wife until I got home with it.

Great service! They are quick even when busy. My coffee has tasted exactly the same on every visit and I cant say that for the competitors coffee. The price is comparable to every other coffee shop. My kids love the fruit smoothies. We have quickly became regulars! I love the added touch of the chocolate espresso bean on my drink.

The coffee is good, depending on what you get but the line is very slow to move. A lot of the girls spend too much time chatting it up with men and show no sense of urgency during rush times. I used to come regularly as the staff is very nice until recently I’ve noticed Saraí and Aryela flirt often with the customers. My son has came through the drive through and had an uncomfortable experience with the barista Aryela. He said she was nice but extremely flirty, even when he seemed visibility uncomfortable with her. He comes regularly with his girlfriend and now he feels too uncomfortable to return. People should not feel this way at an establishment!!

This place is amazing! I usually go to Dutch bros but I figured why not try a different drive thru coffee place and Im so thrilled that I did. The chocolate chip muffin is to die for and the coffee is the best Ive ever had. My little sister got a smoothie but i think the lemonades at Dutch bros are probably better. NO wait. exceptional coffee and pastries and they are also pretty cheap. Definitely worth trying to see for yourself.

Favorite Coffee in Tucson! The Human Bean is better than those other coffee shop chains. Recently Gigi and Sisia helped my Mother and I at the location at 6295 E 22nd St, Tucson, AZ 85711. They were knowledgeable and helpful. The customer service encouraged by the human connection at Human Bean is extremely positive. And just a plain coffee all the way to a frozen Java chip are fabulous here! I regularly recommend this location!
