My dad had some old coins that he wanted to get rid of, but we don’t know anything about the value of coins so we visited a few different coin shops.Peter was not only the friendliest, and fastest, but he also offered us the best price. Went in to get some Silver Dollars for my sons 50th birthday and not only did I get my silver dollars but he hunted until he found all 50 with the year 1971 w!! He also gave me some suggestions on how to display them. What a great experience. Will be back for sure.

Very nice shop! Great guy to work with because I was looking for specific years of American Eagle Silver. He checked all the stock and found 6 out of 9 I was looking for. Then he took my card and said he would keep an eye out for the 3 left to find. This is my go to place for coins and the latest and up to date info on the market!Addendum! I received a call within a few days, he had called a buddy and traded to get the coins I wanted. I delight in friendly people who know their business and follow through.

I had done extensive research and visited most of the local shops Tucson has to offer. I had very little knowledge of collectable coins and precious metals until I met with Peter. After being treated very poorly by other coin dealers at nearby shops and turned away at a reputable coin shop not far from AZ coins& collectables for being accused of possessing less than authentic 20pc gold francs. I was discouraged and noticed one last shop where Peter became a very much needed appraiser who not only validated my collection professionally but treated me with respect. I had checked the BBB ratings before I came in, and Arizona Coins had been the best, so I came in. Peter welcomed me at the door, then helped me with the coins that I had brought in. He looked at every one, and checked them, then made what I considered a very fair offer, which I accepted. If I find any other coins that I want to sell I will certainly stop here first, just because I felt so comfortable with the way i was treated.

I learned of Arizona Coins and Collectables via the internet when i was planning a visit to Tucson to see my daughter and grand kiddos. Other reviewers said Pete was wonderful and a great teacher. I can attest to this!! My grandson is 13 years old and has been interested in collecting coins for a few years. Pete was so nice and talked to him about lots of different coins. Then helped him make a great buy and even gave him an outdated book that was headed for the trash but still had great info. Of all the other coin stores in the area that my Dad went to for years, places where he thought of the workers as his good friends, none showed my Mother or me any help or advice or condolences. In fact we experienced quite the opposite. It was as if they simply forgot the many years of fellowship theyd shared, the many hours my Dad spent in their stores every week, not to mention the many many business transactions that had transpired. Its like they didnt care he was gone. AZ Coins and Collectibles is the only place where we felt any real care and comfort and thats priceless.
