I love this place cause they have any comic books that you can think of they have action figures collectible cards and old school games.

This is a great store if your looking for those old rare finds or some good nostalgia. The employees I talked to were very helpful and friendly. Willing to help and not complain about getting something off the top shelf. I also enjoyed the wide selection of anime items they have. Definitely not a store to hop on the band wagon of only selling hot new items. A local Tucson gem worth making a visit!

Tons of comics! A bit of anime merch and manga.

Employees have strange selling tactics. They will borderline force you to hold an item in your hands and they will become aggressive if you dont.Its like there are trying to force you to think about buying an item.Prices are too high, and the selection is poor (overall) they have lots of items but its stuff like 20 year old tombraider toys but there was some nice stuff just not a lot of it.

I have been going to this place since I was a little kid since they were off Tucson Boulevard in the early 90s Ive known the owner several years really great guy and his wife the some of the best people out in Tucson that are selling toys you cannot find Harley anywhere else if youre looking for Star Wars and Marvel Dragon Ball Z comics make sure you take a look at one of the best stores in Tucson for that certain merchandise

I wouldnt know. We walked to get there (about a mile from our house, it was a beautiful day) and they had closed early. It would have been our first time at the shop. But... I suppose we will have to decide if going on a weekend vs risking another early closure after work is worth it...

Parking is tight and the store is small, but they have a great selection of comics, all reasonably priced. The guy who was working today was very nice and knowledgeable.

They have an insanely large collection of comics and pop-culture action figures and collectables. The workers are incredibly kind and helpful!

They dont really take anything. I tried giving them all my cards for $15 and theyre worth more, but they turned them down cause the fact theyre common cards.

Huge selection of new and vintage merch. Just about everything you can nerd out on from Star Wars to Anime. Even old videogame consoles. And the guys that work there were extremely nice and it was a joy having nostalgic conversations with them about old collectibles. Will absolutely be back again. Keep up the great work, guys!

What an amaizing experience! I am a stranger to the comic book scene and I was out looking for Christmas gifts, specifically for the nerds in my life. I visited 4 other comic book stores in the same day and R Galaxy is the only one that impressed me. They had a HUGE variety of items, every different hero and villain you could think of from all generations. The other shops I visited were what I would call new style meaning no classic memorabilia. The guy behind the counter, Rick, who I think is the owner, is a totally cool dude. He knew exactly how to help me find what I was looking for and was sensitive to my budget. The other stores barley asked can i help you. I have mad respect for good customer service. R Galaxy has the chill vibe you would expect from a comic book store, where as the other stores in town had a very retail vibe.

So i recently went to sell some comics at R Galaxy. I explained to the owner my situation. I was looking to get a fair price for some comics i sold. The price was anything but fair. I allowed the transaction to take place so in good faith i could leave this review. I hope anyone that sees this message does not attempt to sell your comics to this business. The comics i sold him had a value of roughly 700 dollars maybe more and R-Galaxy paid me $120.50. Sir you know exactly who i am. I was hoping to be treated fairly but it was not even close. I know exactly what the value was for each comic. Do i regret selling my books yes. If i had the opportunity to get them back for the price he offered me yes. That said as i stated i had to let the transaction go through to warn future sellers to R Galaxy. Please shop around before you sell them to R-Galaxy. My hope is the owner sees this message and in the future he treats his customers more fairly. Its a shame because he has an amazing store. I will in fact tell all of my friends to stop doing business with R-Galaxy and anyone who reads, buys, or sells comics. All this being said i did go through with the transaction and i do regret it but it was all worth leaving this review. I will definitely never do business with R-Galaxy ever again. I even recommended customers to shop in his store all time. My friends and i have spent thousands of dollars in this store but never again. He baits you to see if you know what you have prior to offering you a price. I just played along acting like i did not know much. Sir in the future treat your customers fairly even if they do not know what they have. The comic community i would like to think is based on integrity and were almost family like. I wanted you to prove to me that you deserved my business, family, and friends. You lost more business than you gained by low balling my collection. To be fair the R-Galaxy has everything you pretty much need to fill gaps in runs and he has a lot of awesome titles. You can pretty much find any comic your looking for which is why i would recommend shopping there. The variety of comics is vast. I do recommend grabbing what you need there but be very weary selling anything there. Buyers paradise sellers nightmare. In all fairness i could not give a 1 star due to the comic selection in the store and how organized it was.

Ive been going to this store for more than 20 years.The owners and staff are very helpful and completely honest. Ive been in a lot of comic book stores all over the country and this one has the best staff (very good staff compared to any type of store actually). Very good stock on American and Japanese comics, video, and character goods. Has some hard to find and rare items. Prices are reasonable, with some real bargains here and there.

Been coming here for years. Rick has always been awesome and seems to always have that one item that you cant find anywhere else whether its a comic book, anime dvd, etc. Highly recommend for fans of comic books, anime, pop culture, etc.

I took my ten year old sold here to look for collectable Mortal Kombat and G.I. Joe toys. I was promptly informed they do not carry toys that promote war and were anti-military. The staff made a couple of other condescending remarks to me as well about military operations. I said nothing and left the store quietly with my son. This store maintains a disrespectful posture towards veterans. It is their right to do so and I truly believe that. I respect the freedoms we have in this country and how we came to possess them. I just want to make sure that veterans and active duty military are aware before they shop here.

This is the only comic shop I will go to in Tucson. It is the only one where they answer your questions without making you feel like youre intruding. Theyre super nice, always helpful, and they take care of their subscribers! They have earned my business!

Stay away from here. He had no compassion for someone who had there comic book collection stolen that he was fortunate to buy dirt cheap from there ex. You would think he would understand the importance of someones collection to them. Instead all he saw was dollars....sad.

I personally go there as much as possible within ONE week.. I ALWAYS have a great time there and the comics are in great A+ condition. Yes the store isnt a mega store but it isnt small nor lack of inventory.. Tons of comics and comics that havent even made it to the floor, Yet... I know bc I go there all the time... Rick the owner has events, professional drawers, and all kinds of sales on holidays that make it super fun!Prices are always fare....$$$Store hours are later than most comic stores in the area also.

For a place that deals in collectables, boy were they limited in scope. They only seem to me to have a very certain kind of collectable. So the word collectable to me doesnt really apply. The man I talked to was nice i guess. But I feel like he was so in an attempt to rid himself of my presence. Trust me friends, I was happy to oblige.

Bad experience. First of all, why would you sell comics in bad shape and then try to get a mint for them!? Simply ridiculous. Plus to get a good deal, you have to spend a Hundred dollars to actually get a good deal. I asked the dude behind the counter if he had any DEADPOOL comics and he said he did. I then proceeded to ask could I see them? He replied, sorry, the DEADPOOL comics I have behind here, wont be out for another two weeks. Im like, you really arent going to negotiate with me?! Please dont boycott this review. This actually happened and I am truthful on my reviews. If I like you, you get a 4 or 5. If I dont like you and you leave a bad taste in my mouth, I give you a 1. I dont care if its unfair. Its either your great or your not. I wrote this review for comic book lovers everywhere. Please by all means, dont visit this store, unless you want to get ripped off.

Wanted to shop here, then saw the anti-1070 placard. Not going to bother with a business owned by someone who refuses to educate themselves on the law and holds to the idiotic human rights violation argument that the media has been spilling about SB1070. Too bad cause I was looking for a comic store on this side of town.
