I’ve decided it’s easier to order my favorite products online than shop at my neighborhood Ulta. There are two greeters at the door and several other employees who ask if I need help finding products yet always, the checkout line is long and there is only one cashier. The quarterly coupon is hardly worth the wait in the checkout line!
I really enjoy this Ulta location. My initial stop was post Covid to address my hair loss. I blindly scheduled an appointment with Corrine. She made me laugh and helped me pick a hairstyles to mask some of my thinning spots. She also recommended product to help with re-growth and volume. Fast forward to this weekend. I followed up for a hair cut and to proudly show my regrowth. While sitting in the chair I noticed the Brow Bar. I inquired about it briefly with Corrine and met a lady name Sherry while checking out some new product. She advised me she would check Quinn schedule to see if he had availability. Thankfully he was available. He is magical, how he transformed my unruly eyebrows was amazing. I highly recommend him. While I waited for brow appointment I took the opportunity to speak with Louisa in the make up counter to discuss foundation and concealer. She was able to find my perfect match in both concealer and foundation. She was very thoughtful in her questions about my skin type and what I want to achieve. She is so helpful and really educated me on the products. While checking out I met Randy. He was very helpful and shared with me of a new product that he learned about. This specific product was a eye shadow in pencil form. He explained it help reduce smearing and applies quite smoothly and evenly. This is so important especially with our Arizona heat. I could go on and on about my experience and feel I just can not say enough about what a great experience I had here. Please if you stop by, ask anyone of these professional Ive named to assist you. Their pride and love for their profession shines through.
This place is great theyre really good at what smells like what and what smells go with other scents that pair well with your favorites. Good job guys! Only problem is the profiling tone that way way way down and you guys might have something there? But yes from the door I was continuously stalked physically and visually. Sadly Ive become used to it so Im not so appalled that Im at a loss for words but it will always leave a bad taste.
Terrible experience. Tyler the manager was smug and matter of fact about how the deceptive bait and switch strategies were fine and not deceptive, although the buy one Paul Mitchel Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner sale, get 50 % off didn’t apply to liters, even though the sale signs were only in front of the liters. Bad business, bad marketing, terrible customer service.
A clean store with plenty of amazing product that is usually quite well stocked. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful.
Super good experience! I dont go in to often usually for eyeshadow pallets but today I went in for something different! FOUNDATION! Ive heard so much about tart and wanted to give it a go but couldnt figure out which would match my color tone! After 2mins a gentleman assisted me and even recommended a moisturizer after I made a comment on my skin. I used the foundation when I got home A PERFECT MATCH! couldnt be happier with the customer care!
Andrea was amazing!!! She took time to get to know me to see what type of makeup I was into to help assist me better on what type of products to look for. She was very caring and even while in line she came to me and showed me a couple lip scrub products she knew I wanted but couldnt find. She is the best and I cant wait to go back to see her again!! I will definitely drive out of my way again to go to this location for her assistance. Thank you so much Andrea!!!
My son bought my wife an Ulta gift card for Christmas and we finally had a chance to use it today. Im sure my wife isnt your typical Ulta shopper but I expected someone to try and help her find the perfume she was looking for. We were there ten or fifteen minutes before she found something she liked but in that time not one person came over to ask if she needed help. Honestly I feel the employees felt we were beneath them and didnt need to help us. Pretty bad customer service. Never again.
Love this place and the workers are so nice plus their are so many products that you can buy.

Went in to this store with money to spend, but I left without purchasing anything because the workers kept following me around and STARING me down the entire time I was trying to shop, to the point where it was uncomfortable and offensive.
I had Corrine cut my hair and she was the absolute best! She was so nice and she always made sure I liked what she was doing with my hair. I HIGHLY recommend her!
I was simply picking up my wife. Thats why I made it out.The store seems to be set up based on bird migration patterns and the fibonacci sequence... patterns effortlessly discerned by my wife and incomprehensible to me. I went in to the store expecting to quickly find the attractive brunette peeking through the displays. Negative.She was looking for foundation. That should guide my search. Negative.Signs? Negative.Eventually, I texted her. She had finished her shopping, checked out, and left all without my seeing her. This is not a large store.I dont know if I should arbitrarily blame my Y- chromosome, but it is clear that the store is not set up with my demographic in mind.They gave my wife a lovely gift bag with her purchase. Im sure shell be back... hopefully without me.
Korinne and the ladies at the salon inside Ulta are amazing! Korinne didnt even hesitate when she saw the state my hair was in. She jumped right in and fixed me right up. Brianna and Veronica are also super nice and fun! The whole staff at Ulta is just great, I drive across town just so I can go to this location, and would 10/10 recommend them to everyone.

I booked my 1st appt. 2 weeks ago and was really looking forward to get my hair done, I even took the day off of work. I came in to my appt. and the people at the desk said I was not on the schedule. I showed them my appt. on my phone that was set for the correct time, date and location. They just kept saying I wasn’t on the schedule. While I was there, another customer came to check in and they told her the same thing, that she wasn’t on the schedule. I told the lady “so I just took the day off work for nothing?” she just stared at me. It wasn’t bad enough that they did not see me for my booked appt. but they didn’t even try to help fix things or find another appt. for me. So based on my experience I do NOT recommend the Ulta beauty salon at Oracle and Wetmore, don’t waste your time.
Got a good deal on a gift card here so came to get my wife whatever she wanted. Love the cologne selection as well as the guy friendly advice and facial products.
I prefer to order online as the store is understaffed and the cash out line is always very long.
On a hot Sunday afternoon I wanted a haircut, a just for me time moment. My hair had grown down to my shoulders, it had grown out during the lockdown due to Covid. My hairdresser was Corinne. She was very nice. I told her I wanted a medium bob, with weight taken off the top, and the sides at an angle. Like an A Line cut. My hair is very curly. Well, I paid $55.00 for a haircut that I dislike. After my 3rd visit to the Ulta hairstylist, in 3 days. I can tell you Im very disappointed in my haircut. On the 3rd visit, I showed her an A line cut that i wanted for my hair, since we were obviously not on the same page. She told me that she could not do it. I told her I still wanted my hair cut at an angle. She told me that we could work towards that style. I know my hair, I know what I wanted and she refused to listen to me, even though I told her 3 times on that visit what I wanted! Im not happy, Im frustrated. Not even talking to the manager helped.
No contact, curbside pickup is a joke. Did the electronic Im here check-in and sat out there for about 20 mins watching people go in and out. Had to call and ask what the hold up was. Even then, took another 15 or more to wait for someone to bring it out. The curbside space is terrible with lots of traffic & its limited space for all the cars sitting out front waiting.
This store was very dirty. Most definitely not one of the best Ultas Ive been too.

So I decided to order for curbside pickup. They sent me an email stating it was ready for pickup. So I get there and all you see is a huge line of cars waiting. So I get behind the line of course. I give the number on the door a call and no answer whatsoever. I literally called them about 8 times the line over the phone was still busy. After the 11th time they finally answer and from there on I had let them know I was there for my pickup and what type of vehicle I was in. Keep in mind when Me and the employee got off the phone it was about 4:58pm. So I’m there waiting and waiting.. You can see this lady going back and fourth almost like she didn’t know which items went to which vehicle. As I move forward due to the line shortening, you can literally see the employees inside barely packing items at that point I’m just completely angry and annoyed. Also it was already 5:20pm at the point. So by the time I got my order it was already 5:56pm no joke. I don’t know how those people still work there honestly. And they didn’t even seem to care at all. Very rude and very unprofessional. Never again.
I went in today to purchase some Pur minerals makeup. We can’t try on product due to Covid but Tyler helped match my daughter and I. When we got home we tried on the products and he matched us perfectly! Tyler was super kind and helpful. We will be back!
If you’re looking for a great hairstylist, go to Sam! I am so picky with my hair/color and he literally takes his time to perfect my hair! I’ve been to many stylists and he will always be my go to! He doesn’t work at this location anymore, but he moved across the street to the JcPenny salon in the Tucson mall!

I went in yesterday to pick up some Items for a photoshoot/ model thing we are going for a beauty school assignment. Associates had been more then helpful and checked to make sure and even helped me pick some Items.Way better then sephora, much kinder staff and overall have always had a good experience at this location.
I was blown away by the various services offered. I want to say, Thanks again Tyler, for the special attention he paid to me. Even though the store became busy, he still took the time to answer my questions then assigned someone to provide hands-on testing to assist me in finding the right foundation shade for my skin tone.
Went into store to exchange a product I had allergic reaction to ask girl to help me in the store don’t have her name she helped me pick out a correct product but it was the wrong one when I got out of the car I found out that it was the wrong product so I went back in to exchange for the right product she was very rude I was terribly sorry this happened I have never had an allergic reaction to any clinic product so I had to exchange it for another one I felt like my business was not importantEnough for her to treat me with some kind of courtesy I will not go to this Ulta store again I will go to the one that’s on Broadway from now on where I get treated like they appreciate my business

Amazing staff, I was looking for some face putty and they made sure to find it for me. Ms. Brook (one of the managers) was the one who helped me, she made it a point to find that putty and it was one of those things that make a person feel like they matter. The products I ended up leaving with were quality for a great price! Im not much of a make up person because of the investment one has to make, but this company makes it a point to not take full advantage of me when I do have to buy some stuff, and definitely is easing me into things. Shout out to this store in particular, the staff really made my night.
Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for and they always keep the store very clean. Not really well stocked but they can order it for you or find it at another store. I don’t wear makeup and I don’t ever feel judged at Ulta, for not wearing it or knowing much about it. Highly recommend this store.
I love this location. The staff is diverse and kind. There is a great selection. The salon has stylists and an estecian that does a good job. And I feel good going in. That cashier Lauren is something else. She is so efficient and makes my day brighter when I see her;) Get a credit card too! You get 20% off, double points, free gift, so if you want that dyson dryer or perfume, you get a great deal, on top of other coupons. Best birthday gifts ever.Basically, the location is so convenient, and you get good assistance from skilled makeup artists. If you want honest and skilled feedback, and good deals, pop in.

Black Friday...came in for a facial. That was an awesome experience. Liz did it and shes very knowledgeable. Everyone was super friendly and available. I go to this location a lot and have never had a bad experience.

Ultas is the place I go for any beauty aids. They always greet you at the door and ask if they can help you find anything. The staff is always friendly I neat looking. The store is clean and everything in place. They have just about anything youre looking for in the line of beauty. They have makeup, fragrances, skin care, nails and hair products and everything in between. They have Beauty Consultants and makeup artist and they have their own Beauty Salon. They have it all! I go here regularly.
I really love their place, you can find anything you need and they give good discounts! Something you won’t find much at Sephora, I just hate that I got their rewards card, their interest rate is INSANE! DO NOT GET THEIR CREDIT CARD! Takes too much interest (27%)

Dont think that getting your hair done is just for your hair. It makes you feel so much more relaxed and cared for to have this attention. Lowers stress and helps you remember how important you are. Ulta s staff was so friendly, welcoming, and caring. Lizz is a love and such a joy to talk with.
I had a great experience today; It was a Thursday just before 11:00 am. I was looking for foundation for my face and needed to be helped with finding the right color for my skin tone, and to address other problem issues. I also did not want a full coverage foundation.When I walked into Ulta two associates acknowledged me with a hello. They didn’t “pounce” on me the minute I walked in which I really appreciated. Within 30 seconds definitely less than a minute a senior associate asked if she could help and I explained the reason for my visit. While listening to my issues she walked me to one of the cosmetic counters and called Associate, Maria, explaining my issues perfectly to her. Maria took over and expertly matched a great color for my ruddy, aging complexion. She tried 3 - 4 different colors and worked patiently with me until we got it right. She never tried to up sell me other products but did mention items to try that could be helpful. Maria knew her stuff! Excellent sales technique. I ended up buying other products in the line only because I casually asked about them and each time she patiently showed me how to apply them. I was provided a free gift with my purchase which was awesome. I entirely had a different cosmetic in mind when I came in, but these gals resolved my issues with the best product meant for me. Very attentive! Very good listeners!
Wouldn’t recommend the salon; my appointment was cancelled which I was only informed of when I arrived. No voicemails or emails were left to tell me they needed to reschedule. Super inconvenient. Otherwise, the staff is very friendly.

This last Thursday I was at the salon with a wedding party. We all got our makeup done and I decided to get my hair done as well to save time. I was told to get my hair curled and left down that it would be 50-60 dollars. And that a blowout would be cheaper ($42). Well it was the worst blowout Ive ever had, could have saved me $42 and done it at home and it would have looked way better. By the time I left the salon my hair was flatter than a pancake. Than my friend got her hair curled as an add on to the make up, for $20. I understand mistakes happen but we were in a rush and I had to curl my hair before the wedding. Very disappointed but on the other hand the makeup artist Liz was awesome and she did an amazing job on our makeup. Would definitely recommend going to see Liz to get your makeup done, on the other hand save your money and just do your hair at home.
What woman isnt happy at Ulta? Lol I prefer the Oracle location over the Park Place one, and it all comes down to the staff. I always get great customer service at this location as opposed to Park Place being a hit or miss. The staff here is approachable and helpful without making you feel like youre under surveillance. I appreciate the offer to help, I just dont appreciate the employees hovering, which tends to be the case at Park Place. Maybe its just the location of the store,IDK. Both places have knowledgeable staff, and I love that while they are informative, letting me know about what deals they have at the moment. They are not pushy salespeople.
Very well stocked but every other time I go in I get some attitude from the workers. Just because I am not wearing make up when I go in does not me I dont wear make up the rest of the week or buy large amounts of your product. You should probably treat all customers well and not just the pretty ones. Ive started shopping at Sephora unless this is the only place that has that product I am looking for.
So hard to find an employe to help you, you literally have to chase them around the store. I went in to exchange something I had bought, the one I wanted was out but they didn’t offer to see if it was at another location or ship it to me? Like they offered someone else that was in front of me ? They should be well stocked on a popular product... so I walked out with store merchandise credit and have to buy what I need online and also pay for shipping... super dissatisfied at the customer service at this location.Just found out you can not use the store credit online after I was assured by two employees. Spoke to a manager and there is nothing they can do to help.
I got a haircut with Janet, and she did a great job dealing with my scraggly hair. She put in a lot of time to clean everything up and make long layers. She also took the time to show me how to part it and style it easily. You can make an appointment online!
This Ulta is usually stocked and has the better deals than compared to the location on Broadway. This location has the lime crime hair dyed along with other goodies. This location is the one that usually has good sales, the one on Broadway for some weird reason never has the products I am looking for. The customer service is usually really bad though, but I think that is at every Ulta store, lol. Oh well.
After damaging my hair from box dies and coconut oil treatments, when I was getting my eyebrows done at the Benefit Bar I asked who the best stylist was. Kami has been doing my hair for two years now. She brought it from dark brown to blonde slowly and it has minimal damage. She use to do my nails too (Ulta doesn’t have that option anymore). Liz is a great guru for skin care. I find everyone that works there is friendly and helpful.

They will sell u anything. Even if ur going i. For a specific item like a eye liner pencils sharpener. Its about the up sale. A .43 cent sharpener cost her 50.00 by the time she left. Omf goodness
I love ulta, some of the people who works there speak Spanish and its much easier to ask for something, and theyre very kind. The products are awesome.

Very helpful staff but not enough floor space for the amount of product corporate wants sold, makes navigating already small walkways difficult. Add in more people and its a nut house.
Was looking for a cooling gel-eye mask. They were big in the 80s. Everywhere else, 4 drug stores, looked at me like I had no idea what I was talking about or sent me to look at facial peels. A very nice lady here knew excactly what I was talking about, knew right where they were in the store. Even had a personal recommendation of a brand that also had a sale discounting the item. Super happy and told her Id write this review.

The store in clean, very well lit, and pretty well stocked. When you walk in, someone greets you, and is friendly, even if 40 feet away. The prices are par with other retail outlets. I do have a complaint, tho. I asked about tubing mascara by NYX, and the girl didnt know what I was talking about, and it turns out Ulta doesnt carry it. So I asked if there was any tubing mascara in other brands, and she said, No, not in drug store section. I said, but wait, a minute ago you didnt even KNOW what tubing mascara is, so how can you definitively tell me its not here? So she said shed go look it up and come right back. Many minutes later, after searching on my phone, and finding a few other offerings in drug store cosmetics, I found one I liked and I went to the counter to ask where the girl had gone. I described her and they said she had gone off to do stocking. So, not only was she not helpful, she was discouraging, and then totally blew me off. I told the other ladies behind the counter about my experience and they just said, oh, uh well, we uhh... sorry. This is a poorly trained, and poorly informed staff. I bought the mascara, despite being discouraged and blown off.
Went in here on a whim with my sister and boyfriend. Britney helped us around the store and showed us some really cool products and helped us find stuff in our budget. They werent too expensive and everyone was very nice, even when I had a bit of an allergic reaction to some makeup I got on my hands, they helped me take it off. The only thing I would change is moving the hair section to the side of the store, instead of the back. Britney was honestly an amazing employee. She really went out of her way to help us and wasnt just trying to get us to buy something; so if youre in there, ask for her!
Very poor service no customer service skills. the product that I purchase usually comes with the free sample products of the same product that I purchased. the lady that took care of me blondish white salt and pepper color hair... was helping me at the counter was also helping another customer at the same time with a returning product. Ignoring me and not taking the time with my question and needs...I felt as if I was at QuikTrip taking care of two customers at the same time. Very unprofessional I dont think I will be returning to the Wetmore and Oracle location. Customer service was terrible! Thats really too bad to receive that type of service... I come from Green Valley to make purchases here. I also recommend/ refer people to this location but after todays unprofessional service I will no longer be sending people this way.
Ive gone to the salon there about 5 times now to get my hair colored and each time I ended up hating the end product. Ill start by saying o was getting my hair dyed pastel pink. Before that I went to another salon to get it dyed and that was a disaster. They dont charge much so I thought that was cool, but I got what I paid for.. And every time since then same thing. After pastel pink I decided pastel purple was what I wanted. But no, I got literally neon purple. I was so unhappy with it, so I did it at home. but that faded way to quick. So I went back to Ulta to get it re-done and I even had a picture to show, but she made the same mistake. Instead of using pastel purple dye she actually used regular dark purple dye and I pinch of blue. Still it came out neon purple. To say the least I would only recommend getting a small cut there.
Lady that helped me was demeaning about my current beauty products and talked bad about other customers. Was pushy about getting the most expensive products too. Havent been back since. Sephora employees are much nicer.

The associates at this store are all rude. I try to be friendly and seem approachable but they just give me a mean look like if in crazy. Ive only had one person be nice to me but even then she was just trying really hard to sell me stuff that I didnt like.

Today I was there and I was told that if I apply for their Ulta credit cardI would receive an additional 20% off of my purchase i expressed her that I probably would not qualify and she then proceeded to convince me that it wouldnt matter... Once at the register there was at least 20 people standing in line behind me I proceeded to apply for this not only was I denied thelady was not discreet about it she proceeded to yell across the store that I was denied and that the 20% would not be be applied and continued too argued the situation I was completely humiliated alsoIt seems that every time Ive gone here theyre always out of most foundations also always promoting theyre special gift if you purchase certain brands and its not until uve spent hours in there for them to tell u at the register that theyre out of theyre special gift... No rain checks Its really annoying!!!It wasnt a pleasant experienceI intend on contacting theyre corporate office
Called twice to setup an appointment for the Benefit Brow wax&tint and both times waited on hold for over 15min. I give up. Im gonna go in tomorrow and hope they can see me anyways but this is ridiculous
The first time I went in to this ULTA people were friendly, smiled and said hello. This time around I wanted to get my hair cut and colored and I stood at the salon desk for a good 20 minutes. The was a hairstylist who was coloring a womans hair....Not one hello...not one can I help you...nothing. I understand you are busy, but a simple hello someone will be right with you would be nice. But he just ignored me. then I went to the front desk to talk with the them to ask if they only had one hairstylist that night. They had two people in line for a good 5 to 7 minutes while they chatted with each other...ignoring the people in line. Really? This is your idea of customer service? I usually like Utla and the work they do...but these people were just so rude! I will never go there again. Would rather go across town to another one then to deal with being ignored by rude people again. Which really sucks because if someone is kind and does a good job I will put the word out to all I know. So I guess they just dont want the business.
My boyfriend got me a makeup pallet for my birthday, I already had it. He went to return it less then 24 hrs later with the original receipt and they wouldn’t return it because he didn’t use a member ID number during check out.
Hours of operation need to be updated. The closest one to me is 20 min away and after checking hours and driving there come to find out they dont open till 2pm
Didnt have what I needed. No mac cosmetics all kylie was sold and empty shelves and they bait and switch for specials. Wont step foot in here again.

Terrible Customer service! The girls there are so rude and unprofessional (including management). They also follow you around the store as if you are stealing. I come out of the store upset every time, which I think should be the opposite of what a beauty store should make every girl feel. I love and believe in Ulta’s products, but the employees are trained horribly. Which makes me prefer to buy online or go to Sephora, rather than go to the store. I don’t recommend going to this store.

Horrible, there were 13 people in line and one cashier who was also answering phone. He didnt call for help until helped 6 people. And one employee came to desk twice to get something but didnt stay to help or get help. I will never go back to that store.

The salon part sucks. They cant do anything right. Got my hair cut a few days ago I showed the person (Sam) what I wanted I also had my mom and sister explain to him afterwards so he knows what Im talking about. He didnt get it right. It took him for 4 times and I said for get it because he cant do it. I seriously cant find anyone around here to do a perfect bobbed stacked hair cut. I chopped all my hair off for it to look like crap.
