We had a blast at Donut Bar! There are so many options! We really appreciate how many choices of vegan donuts there are because of food allergies. The people working there are friendly and helpful! I added a picture of seating because there is actually a lot of space towards the back that you cant see.Well be going back after a dinner for donuts and beer! Awesome donuts! Awesome environment! Awesome service! Just outstanding all around. Some of the most extravagant donuts and ideas Ive seen. Definitely on the pricey side, but that is because they are big and definitely should be shared. Not to mention full bar and coffee options as well as other ready to order snacks and treats.Employees have an awesome attitude and love to talk and explain their creations. They switch out their donut options everyday so you dont get bored with there over 100 options of treats and delicacies!

Delicious and a great selection. The Monte christo donut waffle was wonderful. Maybe some music inside would be good, as it was oddly quiet.

Donuts are MASSIVE. The poptart stuffed donuts are literally the size of a brick. Highly recommend. Come get a donut for your kiddos and a beer for yourself. Parking is on the street so be prepared for that.

Really liked this place. The quantity of donuts is limited at the beginning of the day so get there early. Had the French toast and apple crisp donuts which were really good. Like the little box they come in and the beers they had on tap where a nice touch to wash everything down. Service was friendly and overall enjoyed the visit. Highly recommend.

What a cool place! I stopped in for breakfast this morning to try something different on a Friday. The donuts were some of the coolest and biggest that Ive ever seen ! I can eat a lot, and for me, one donut (the Unicorn) was plenty. The beer selection was good as well. If you havent been to this place, you should good! Its definitely a unique experience :-)

Pot O’ Gold: Happy St Patrick’s Day! I’ve wanted to try “Donut Bar” for over a year now and I finally got the opportunity on my vacation to Tucson last week (I was planning to go to their main location in San Diego back in March 2020, but we all know why that was canceled). Let’s start with the good. This doughnut is a work of art with a gorgeous vanilla flavored blue icing, marshmallow flavored clouds, sour gummy rainbow, and a pot o’ gold made using golden M&Ms and a Rolo flipped upside down (crafty). The dough was fresh, thick, and chewy. I would normally go on to say it’s Doughboy approved, but now I have to be slightly negative instead. I didn’t order this doughnut, but got it because of a mistake on Donut Bar’s part. A few weeks prior to my trip I reached out to Donut Bar-Tucson to inquire what day of the week their doughnut menu changes (as they offer every day favorites and rotating specialty doughnuts). The response I got was this occurred on Mondays (see second pic). The restaurant offers online ordering for pick up orders, but orders must be placed by 8pm the night prior. Since I was on a tight schedule and I wanted to guarantee that I would get to try the doughnuts that I wanted I placed an order the afternoon on the day before (Thursday). When I arrived Friday morning I was told that the two specialty doughnuts I ordered were no longer available, so I was given this as a substitute. I was supposed to get an “Elvis” doughnut (peanut butter icing and banana cream center) and was extremely disappointed as I consider it to be far more unique than the Pot’O Gold (which is really just a vanilla yeast doughnut dressed up). The “Elvis” doughnut had been listed on their website for the entire week prior and was available for order when I went online Thursday. Two points of constructive criticism. First, why did nobody contact me in advance? Second, you need to keep your online ordering options up to date (especially in this day and age). Had I known the “Elvis” doughnut would not have been available I would have ordered different doughnuts (like the Big Poppa Tart). It’s not as simple as I could come back another day as I had other scheduled stops on my trip that I needed to hit. This is why I specifically avoided going there on a Monday. I hope I make it to the San Diego location some day and I hope the customer service is better.That’s it for the negativity. The staff there are outstandingly nice and friendly, the donut options are surprisingly varied and all delicious - everything from a vegan creme Brule to a bacon, cheddar and pickle grilled donut! Hidden gem, highly recommend.

Such a cool little place! The Donut Grilled Cheese and the Donut Monte Cristo are worth the trip! We came at noon on a Saturday and got the last two- get there early! And their beer selection is great too!

I’ve only been able to try the maple donut once. Every time I order it, it’s gone!!! It doesn’t matter the time (early, late, the day before). It is never there. I’ve ordered everything else. They have great customer service

Always amazing; you literally cant go wrong. Their maple bars are classic and they always have new donuts every day. If youre feeling adventurous, go on the weekend for a grilled cheese donut. It sounds interesting and its totally worth $7.

Well....... I love a soft donut but these were not soft. I was so excited to try them I didnt care about spending $15(plus tip) for 5 donuts plus they are big enough to share. The red velvet was so dry it crumbled, Im thinking it was from the night before. The boston creme was dry and dense but good flavor. The cake batter(was the best quality) and vanilla(in microwave)were good. 5 stars for decoration, 2 stars for quality. For the red velvet alone I should have went back and returned it. Dont think I can recommend yet to my donut loving friends.

Delicious Donuts - they were large, and just the right amount of sweet! Not a casual donut shop, because these things are gourmet. Which is also reflected in the price, but I havent had a better tasting donut in Tucson. My mom and I were so pleased to taste the actual dough flavor instead of sugar or fry oil (which are common flavors in donut dough IMO) For me, its worth it!

Donut Bar aka the happiest place in Tucson. Can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff treats us like royalty every time we come here. It’s a fun spot to have a unique donut with you kid, or come and have a beer and a donut grilled cheese with you buds. I absolutely love this place!

After sending donuts to people last week, I succumbed to the need to eat a donut myself. Ordered the evening before online, trying not to go too crazy and keep it at 8 or less. Got the Homer, Unicorn, Maple Bacon, Salted Caramel, Red Velvet, Somoa, Butterfinger... and one I cant for the life of me remeber. Doesnt really matter since it will be in my stomach shortly. The donuts are super fresh, top quality yumminess. They are doing curbside pick up OR you can walk in practicing social distancing protocols. Right now they are open Friday and Saturday and stay open until they sell out. Totally worth the drive from Vail to pick up these delicious gems!

This is a fantastic place to be, and the food and treats are such a delight. The General Manager is such refreshing fella and his mother that helps to open is so cheery and warm. Stopped yesterday on my way to work. These are AMAZING donuts, and Im completely addicted. Really friendly peeps in the shop. We tried Strawberry Cheesecake and Creme Brulee, and all there is to say is wow. Best donut Ive ever had in Tucson to date (although I will keep checking ;)

Really good heavy donuts, not those light little donuts. All very unique. Prices are fair for artisan donuts. $2-$5 for a donut, and most are larger then average! Very friendly. Will be going back

Awesome as always had the Monte Cristo loved it! My son had the Homer really liked it! My daughter had the Unicorn amazing! My other daughter had the strawberry split I took a bite it was killer! My wife had the always awesome blueberry cheesecake! All in all combined with three iced coffees, one of our favorite spots!

We put in our pre-order for Valentine’s Day a day in advance. The day of pick up, they sold out. We thought that this would ensure that we got our complete order, but instead a few items of our order were not given to us. So in essence, they sold our items that we had already paid for. They did give us a few donuts to replace the sold items, but it still did not cover the total of our bill. We ended up paying four dollars more than what the donuts were valued at, which we didn’t realize until after we left. The donuts themselves are amazing. The business advertises that pre-ordering will ensure that you reserve your items in case of selling out. However this was not the case. The items that we picked out should not have been sold. They should have been reserved for us ahead of time. This is not the way to build a good repertoire with your customers.

They have wine, beer, and coffee to pair. The donuts are Amazing and so many fun options. Welcoming staff as well who are happy to help! The strawberry split was delicious!

Tried this new place on Saturday. Oh my goodness!!!Not only was the grilled cheese donut with sirachasauce on the side amazing, the staff was too.I’ll be a regular for sure. Oh did I mention the pineapple mimosa? Yummy.

Donuts were too dense, we ordered online but they didn’t have a few of what we ordered and not really anything to replace them. Not really worth the wait or hype. They were over fried to a dark brown and just not flavorful. There are several better donut places in town.

The reason I will be rating a one is due to the staff not the quality off food because that it self is a amazing and not judgmental. With that said being said the young lady stereotype me treated me like sub human would not talk to me or really build a rapport but instead seen a blackman she judged as looking homeless then her AMAZING CO WORKER STEPPED IN AND HELPED AT END OF THE PURCHASE SHE STATES.... My parents visited Donut Bar in Tucson, and brought us back some vegan ones (we live in Phoenix). We had the apple fritter and PB&J one. So delicious!! Wish we lived closer!

We read about the donut bar opening and decided to try it out. We got there at approximately 10am Sunday morning. We purchased the creme brulee, homer, salted carmel and sugar donuts to try. To be honest, we were disappointed. The creme brulee was good, but the melted sugar topping while crunchy, didnt have any taste. The homer tasted like it was made yesterday and the icing again had no flavor. The sugar donut also tasted like it wasnt fresh. The salted Carmel was good and tasted the fresh. The icing had great flavor. I know they just opened and maybe this is the result of growing pains. Im used to donuts tasting fresh in the morning, not day old.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. The creme brulee doughnut not only was the dough too dense, but the filling was said to be a creme brulee and it turned out to be only Bavarian cream. Its not worth the steep prices and waits. If you really want to try soft, melt in your mouth doughnuts, go to the Walmart on Cortaro Rd.

Tucson DonutBar is so thoughtful! We ordered through DoorDash and even when 5 of the 6 donuts we ordered were sold out, Steve was super kind over the phone to help us create a replacement order! Even though two of the replacement donuts we wanted werent listed on the DoorDash app, we figured out how to submit a missing item from the menu while still over the phone, and figure out how to get my card charged for the proper amount. Eventually we just put in two items that were the same amount as what we were already getting, even though they werent the proper item name. At the end of the day, we ended up with delicious donuts for our Friday morning working-from-home treat, which really brightened up our week. Staying inside doesnt have to be boring thanks to wonderful and patience staff at Tucson DonutBar and a little patience from DoorDash as well. Thanks all!
