My first time here the sales clerk placed the donut on edge in the bag because the frosting still had not dried! These donuts are so fresh and delicious. The dough inside is light and soft while the outside has a hint of crispness. Other donut shops (like Amys) have denser donuts to pile toppings on. This is much better. The coffee is also good. This is my favorite donut shop in Tucson.

This place has amazing donuts. I am pretty sure it is a family owned business with some help of course. The bldg is old but full of personality. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. This trip I bought a dozen doughnuts and a bearclaw and a large cinnamon roll. All of the donuts were fresh and still a little warm as they were just made. When I got home, I have a sugar topped donut. It was soft, airy and had the right amount of sugary goodness. The bearclaw had the perfect amount of cinnamon, suga and apple mixture inside and the glaze on top was on the light side but perfect as it was (not over powering). The prices are just right. I think it was like $7.50 for the dozen. I would recommend them to anyone.

I’ve been going to donut wheel since I was a kid, and it’s still as spectacular as the first time I went. These are honestly the best donuts I’ve ever had, and the ladies there are so so sweet and friendly. The donuts are always fresh and delicious. No one can compete with them, especially with their affordable prices too! I will always go here! I wish I had a picture to post but the donuts were just too good and I devoured them immediately!

Been coming to this place for most of my life! I think only two families have run it since the 1980s or so. Donuts are perfect here and not over priced. Much better than chain shop, ie. Dunkin, Krispy Kreme, etc.

A large choice of donuts for a low cost! I went in once, and they didnt have the donut I was looking for in their case. So they took a glazed one and made it for me right then and there! Their donuts are light, crumbly, and sweet! We go frequently for treats!

Best Donuts all Freshly Fried at the Perfect Temperature. The Pink Iced Glaze and the Cinnamon Roll Glazed had an air filled Yeasty Yumz. Worth a cross town trip anytime. Inspirational.

I understand that everyine has suffered because of Covid.. .but shrinking your donuts by half! Almost bite size? And charging the same as if you were getting a FULL size donut? RIDICULOUS!

I was pleasantly surprised by the softness of the donut, very light and fluffy. I got the maple donut and it tasted good, could have been a bit stronger on the maple flavor. They charge a fee to use debit/credit, which is rather disappointing. The donut was good, and maybe I will try their coffee in the future.

Freshly made donuts 🍩, coffee ☕ and pastries served here! The drive thru line moved at a back & forth pace. The donuts were light & airy. They did have a little greasy residue on the box, but greasy tasting.The staff were nice. Per the box, they are open 24hrs a day. We have not been here for years.... But we will definitely be back soon 😋

All I am going to say is.......BEST.DONUTS.EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! This is what love taste like. When my husband brings these home I tell him he doesn’t love me because I have no self control with these donuts! My daughters love them too and constantly ask for them. If you have never tried their donuts you’re missing out.

I love old fashioned donuts and this place delivers! They had old fashioned, and my favorite buttermilk donuts. Cheap and convenient, glad these guys are a donut shop that have extended hours.

Says it opens at 3:30AM, I drive down, store has paper sign back at 4:30AM. Waited until 4:45AM. No one ever showed up, wasted my time and gas due to irresponsible management that doesnt show up on time.

Best apple fritter Ive ever had. Warm, crispy outside, soft center. Though it was a little greasy on the bottom. Maybe because it was super fresh. If it was set on an absorbent mat before serving it would be less greasy.

The donuts are really good and delicious. I got three for $2.25, which is crazy for how good they are. I went at around 9:30p and the donuts were still soft and tasty.

The donuts are delicious but last night at 3 30 am we went there and it said they will be back at 4 am we went back and they never showed up we waited 10 mins and no one came. Waste of my time and very unprofessional

We discovered the buttermilk donut on accident, they come out fresh at 930pm. Its more a decadent experience than a donut. Do yourself a favor, but beware, 1 is not enough. Love this place, a Tucson gem.

This place makes the absolute best glazed donuts in town! Much better than any franchise to be sure. Not much variety here ( maybe 6 options). If you go early in the AM, the donuts are still warm and they melt in your mouth. They have a convenient drive through and are open 24 hours.

Another day, another donut stop. Every airport trip for the last 20 years Ive driven past this location but never stopped until today. Its spacious inside, clean and the employee was very friendly. Theyve got a big selection and they all looked so good. I tried the yellow cake with chocolate icing and nuts. It was really good. Ill definitely be back!

In my opinion I think that Donut Wheel has the best donuts in the country. Ive had donuts from all over the country and Im originally from the northern east coast and I thought I knew what a really great donut was. But I was so wrong. When I moved here and had my first donut from Donut Wheel I was amazed. Donut Wheel is and always will be the only place I ever get donuts from. I eat their donuts all the time and I will continue to eat them all the time until I am no longer able to lol.

I understand that things are kinda insane but I asked for a dozen donuts... I got 9 got charged for a dozen when I said something she said she charged for the amount I got didn’t even know how many I really got and didn’t care... she didn’t even care enough to write down the donuts I wanted.. seriously? Yeah never again.

It didnt matter if it was morning, noon, or night- and theyre always fresh. Im not sure if Donut Wheel glanced at my last review or not, but thanks for keeping the special donuts fresh and AVAILABLE! Im not a huge fan of sweets, but this place is definitely my favorite donut shop 😋

Donuts are good, but very minimal selection. Albeit, I went later in the day, around 1pm. However, I would think the selection would be better since they are open until 11pm. If you dont pay with cash, they charge an additional $0.50.

This was my second visit to Donut Wheel. Went in at 630am, it smelled amazing inside the shop. I bought 10 random donuts and 2 maple donuts which were awesome and super fresh. These definitely are the best donuts Ive found in Tucson.

Awesome donuts when they have them available. Have been there about 8 times and 6 of those times they had only a few unpopular selections available, or they were closed during business hours. May want to call before stopping by to make sure youre not wasting your time.
