Went through multiple bids for a whole home window replacement and they by far gave me the best feeling and competitive price.Had my entire house windows replaced (20 windows). Also got a new back french door.The salesman was patient and knowledgeable . The work crew was professional and did a great job.Really cant recommend these guys enough. If I had more windows to replace theyd be my first choice.Over my years Ive had some poor experiences with contractors. These guys in particular stand far above the rest particularly in the area of communication. They constantly kept me informed about estimated delivery and installation dates and always showed up on time.Fantastic service.

Just today had a roll up screen installed on my back porch. Workers were prompt and courteous. They moved patio furniture out of the way. Solid installation. Looks great! Highly recommended.

I had security screens installed. The finished product is exactly what I wanted for my home and the quality and installation are great. I am disappointed with the communication over the past few months. This summer I called a few times regarding the status of my order. I understand that there was an aluminum shortage which led to delays, but it took several days for the company to get back to me on the status. I was told Id be contacted when my order arrived, but it wasnt until the credit card company got involved that I received a call that my order had arrived and was ready to be installed the same week. I dont think I would have been contacted if it hadnt been for that.

I have a western facing patio and desperately needed shade from the afternoon sun. After researching several companies for custom made professionally installed screens, I chose Sunshield. Dont give them your hard earned money, better options out there for sure. Installers are hard working but the management should find a better way to pay bills, they hold your money and dont do the jobs . Go anywhere else, last resort call them

We had our patio enclosed with the sun screen 90% blocking, which keeps those pesky bugs from biting us. Very happy with the quality of work and reasonably priced. Cleaned up their work area before they left.

The job was scheduled for two days and they completed it in less that one full day. After some internet searches I decided to call Sunshield Products about replacing our window screens which were almost 17 years old and not really functioning. Derek came out to inspect the job, took thorough measurements and then wrote up an estimate for us after we chose which solar screens we wanted to have installed. He was kind enough to give us a discount that we hadnt asked for. It wasnt cheap, nor was it overpriced. They use quality products and of course they cost more than cheaper quality stuff. Before the install they had another worker come out to remeasure before the build and make sure that all figures were correct. It took a little longer than anticipated, but that was because of a shortage of materials; EVERYTHING in this economy that is shipped has been delayed because of the disruptions in the supply chain from the pandemic. In any case our screens came in yesterday and they promptly installed them this morning. We couldnt be more pleased! They are beautiful and do a much better job of shading the windows from the sun. Im betting our cooling bill goes down because of that. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. They are very professional, courteous and use quality products, and the installation looks beautiful! Kudos to Sun Shield Products.

This company was very professional and I am very pleased with my new security doors, windows, and solar screens. The company called me twice while the doors and windows were being built and shipped to give me an update on when they would be ready to install. The two installers arrived when they were supposed to, explained how everything worked and spent time getting my door just right. I am impressed with the quality of the security doors and windows. The solar screens look great, but Ill have wait until summer to see how well they repel the sun. Im not worried. I highly recommend this company.

Had power screens installed on back patio. We love them. Getting the estimate was a bit tricky due to COVID greatly increasing their business but once we got that done everything was smooth sailing. We had a small issue after installed and paid and I was worried that we would be ignored but they called back and were willing to help but we had already figured out the issue. Recommend without hesitation.

The crew arrived on time and worked hard for 3 days to install our large patio screens. I had a hiccup with the remote and screen. I called the office and they quickly sent the crew back to correct the issues. I am very pleased with the product and will enjoy my patio on hot days.. We recently had two more screens installed. What can I say other than they are EXCELLENT. Two different screens. They helped us decide which would be the best for our needs and cost. I will recommend them to anyone who needs screens!!!!

They were quick to return a call and schedule an estimate. Besides wanting a sun screen on our carport we had issues with water drainage. Cody gave us a great suggestion to install a kickplate along the bottom with the screen on top so it was exactly what we needed. The crew was very professional and did a wonderful job. It looks great! They were very efficient and the pricing was in line with others.

Hired Sun Shield to screen in my back patio. They were able to do the install one week earlier than originally promised. The install was completed over two days. The men performing the work were professional and courteous. It was not cheap, but the quality of the work is good. You get what you pay for. I am satisfied.

I installed their security/solar screens at my last house in Vail, AZ. Since moving to the Phoenix Valley area, I got a few quotes on comparable screens as well as for my front door and slider doors. Their prices are not only beyond competitive, their warranties far exceed competitors. I love using a family owned company over large corporations and they make the decision a no-brainer. The motorized sunscreens for my patio were installed yesterday and today. The product looks high quality and the installers were knowledgeable and professional. I chose this company over competitors because the higher quality product is not as susceptible to wind damage as others.

We had two windows of our second window unit that we were getting sun shields installed by Sunshield. They came to measure in September and said they contact us in the next few weeks when an appointment was available. In January I was quite frustrated I hadn’t heard from them, but I assumed they may have just gotten really busy so I called. I was told that the person who did our measurement didn’t fill out the paperwork and get half of the payment from us, or even communicate that to us and therefore we weren’t on the list to be contacted. After getting the details worked out with a very kind employee, it was arranged that we’d have someone else come to measure again just to be sure, I gave the info on our home including that we are on the second floor and it got scheduled. When the employee arrived he did not have a ladder, we just had him measure the windows of the unit below us and it seemed to be fine.Due to the lateness of all this the kind employee from the office rushed my order to get installed, which I appreciated. When the workers arrived they did not have a ladder so they had to go back to get one. The installation went quickly and after I opened my blinds I noticed a gap between my window and the sunshield which while I wish it was communicated to me, I figured there may be a reason for that. Worse than that, upon trying to open my window I discovered that they had drilled the sunshield into the frame of the window making one window extremely difficult to even open because the screws are now poking threw the window and stick up, not only damage done but now we have to lift the window out of the frame to open it. While I greatly appreciated the care given by Chelsea, I would not recommend this company.

We had been looking for months to replace our sliding glass door that was difficult to open and the newly installed door is beautiful and slides so smoothly! Literally can use one finger to open/close the door!The installer team did an amazing job with communication, accuracy and cleanliness. There were some concerns about electrical issues due to widening our door space and they took all cautious steps to make sure the job would be safe and it was.Thanks Sun Shield!

We had a screened-in porch installed in our backyard. Sunshield was professional from beginning to end. We received a thorough in-home estimate with a competitive price. The job was started at our convenience and finished in less that 2 days. The installers did an awesome job, would use again and have already recommended them to a friend.

Everyone at Sun Shield was very professional. I requested a security screen door for both my front door and back sliding glass doors. My order was delayed due to Covid-19 however I completely understood this was no fault of their own. While waiting for my materials to come in, Cody was responsive and helpful in getting me updates. My doors were installed yesterday and I love them! They perfectly match my home and they look very nice. You can’t put a price on added safety measures and peace of mind in your home. I am also military and they were kind enough to give me a military discount. Thank you guys!!

Again, they have not replaced my ripped screen, which was ripped due to faulty installation and wood warping. They came out 2 times to fix the problem.Now, it is 3 months with a ripped screen-past the summer when I would use it.First visit to order replacement and see what the problem was. Then on the second visit to install a replacement but it was the wrong size product and they did not check the length before they came out on 11-20. No updates and still have a ripped screen. The remote does not always work either correctly which I have complained about. So Do not use these folks. They are nice folks but I have had nothing but trouble with their product, first ordered in the spring. Yes Covid is a supply problem but my order was not placed initially because it was found under something so it got delayed. Then when I called 2 times- each times about the order they were just going to call me excuse was given. They could call and give me updates but never have. Again, Do Not Use these folks unprofessional and no follow-thru.

I ordered a front door and security screen. The quality of the products were great. Because I ordered the front door just as covid hit the front door was very delayed. Even though the experience was less than ideal I would like to take a moment and explain that the company always responded to our calls and emails in a very timely manner. They stood by their products even though the lateness was from their vendor. They mitigated the issue with us. This company understands customer service. So yes we did have a large delay and yes because a slew of unfortunate events the front door order was wrong but they stood by their word and worked to correct and mitigate it. I myself would use them again.

Sun shield of Tucson is an awesome company! My husband and I purchased our home last year and it has a huge roof covered, but otherwise open back porch. The area is 12 feet tall- floor to ceiling and at least 48 feet long. Most of the patio is 9 feet wide with the area immediately outside the living room being 19 feet wide. We have 3 (inside only) house cats and I ALWAYS wanted a screened in patio (Catio!) for them. This home had the perfect set up! I just needed to find a company to create it. Being new to Tucson I didn’t know anyone. I turned to the Tucson HOME magazine that arrived free in my mail box. I started calling the companies that advertised themselves as screened in porch builders. I had a design thought in my head of what I thought would work but needed information, feasible ideas and quotes. I called 3 different companies- Sunshield being one of them. One of the company’s never called me back.... hummm! One company told me because of the square footage we wanted screened in plus the hight of our ceilings, he was unsure if he could guarantee a long life of the structure. He showed me his “design plan” and though I am definitely not a builder, I could tell this was not a feasible plan nor was it going to last. Plus his cost quote was crazy expensive- he claimed it was due to the hight and square footage and amount of screening material necessary for the job. I began to think I was going to have to give up my screened in porch dream...Then Derek from Sunshield of Tucson came by. He was so professional and positive! Very easy to work with. I expressed my concerns about what I had already been told by the last company and he found the information I was given to be faulted. He immediately sent photos to my phone of recently finished jobs that were similar in size and hight and layout to our patio and I told him that this was exactly what I wanted for our patio. He said they have been building them for years and that he would be able to not only build us the patio of my dreams but also give us a lifetime warranty! Two doors, one on each end were also in his plan for our patio project. His design was EXACTLY as I pictured in mind! Best of all he quoted me a very fair and honest price. His only issues were timing. He said he and his crew were very busy and mentioned that he was currently about 5 to 6 weeks out on new projects. I told him to add me to his schedule. I planned to have the concrete floor stained and sealed prior to installation of the patio and that his timing allowed me to get that project finished prior to his crew’s arrival.Once our installation date arrived Derek’s crew worked quickly, very clean and very professional! Friendly and very trustworthy. They finished our patio in 7 working days. Not a scrap of screening nor even an odd screw was found once they completed our patio. We had an amazing structure!!WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE OUR SCREENED IN PORCH!!! Our three cats are in heaven. They and we are out there every day! It has become an awesome extension to our home. I can not believe how this screened porch added to comfort and joy of this home. Absolutely the BEST investment ever!!!Derek and Sunshield of Tucson made my dream happen and all at a very affordable and professional and positive experience. Simply awesome. Simply the BEST!!

I had sun shield screens installed on all my exterior windows with exposure to the sun. They greatly reduced the inside temperature of the rooms where they were installed... Cody installed them with clips which make them easily removable to wash, or to clean windows. Should of done this years ago!
