Ive been back to this store twice now and I can tell you that this is a really great place to buy D&D products. Very happy with my purchases and I will definitely be coming back. The prices on their miniatures are really good, and they have a great selection. I prefer this store to purchasing online because I know the minis arent going to be damaged and I dont have to pay any shipping. They also have a big selection of paints and books.100% recommend coming here.

Stopped in for the first time ever this evening. Was SO happy and I dont even game often. However, I was met with friendly customers, amazing staff and a HUGE collection of really awesome stuff. This is NOT just magic and D&D. They have a large selection of board games, vintage and classic video gaming systems and games and lots of other cool stuff. On an even better note. Customers ranged in ages and I didnt get the usual A real life girl?? In the game shop?? Looks Ive gotten at other shops. This is now my go to, first stop, gaming store. Highly recommend checking it out!!

First time in. Felt super welcome, had a great time talking to staff and patrons that were playing Magic the Gathering. They recommended RPGs that Ive never heard of but cant wait to play. Will definitely be back for those and D&D...

Staff is extra super nice. Feels like walking into my friends house. Seeing more than your average tabletop games like the many pages of White Wolf and the back game room being stocked with classic games like backgammon and traditional monopoly available for play makes me very excited to come back

Helping friends move to AZ so we decided to check out the local magic scene and shops, this was the first and last stop, this shop had everything a magic player could need and want. Met the owner Chris and a local named James, we only had slightly modified precons but played 2 games. The hospitality that was shown to us was incredible.On a side note as a magic player do not ask Chitd for a demonstration just take his word for it or ask him to to show you how he lit his cigar with... oh by the the wsy be sitting down when he shows you the pic

Putting together a birthday gift for a Magic enthusiast. Called to ask about their selection.Told over the phone we are more of a stay and play. If you are looking to browse...find somewhere else.Very disappointing to hear as I in fact really enjoy spending hours and dollars in game shops.No self respecting game shop should ever adopt an exclusive attitude. They should encourage anyone interested in the shop or the games. Shame on Polyhedron.

The best place to play Magic in Arizona. The staff is friendly and the owner will help you with whatever you need. They also have an awesome D&D group. I come here when I can and they make this whole COVID situation seem like it was a thing that no longer exists. 10/10. Would recommend

Good store except hard to get around if your un a wheelchair

Ive had a few issues thus far- no prices on anything means they charge whatever they feel like at the register, which makes planning your purchases difficult, and the no returns or exchanges policy is not a joke, even if you havent yet left the store and want to swap out for something of identical price. (And if thats for reasons of computerized inventory, they should consider linking said inventory to their website, which is completely nonfunctional.) But mainly its a 1-star because of this new club policy, which was not posted on their facebook, website, or note on the door. $6 just to be able to shop there, unlike any other retailer Ive heard of anywhere. This isnt a health safety measure, its a bizarre gouge that keeps out casual shoppers and limits business to the elite clique that practically lives there. Upside is a friendly staff, but that only goes so far. EDIT TO THE RESPONSE: I understand that you wish to be a community hub as well as a retailer, in which case charge admission for people who wish to stay and play. For those of us who merely wish to make purchases, allow them. $6 per day for the opportunity to give you money is ridiculous. If youre concerned about maintaining the health and safety of your customers, I suggest looking to one of the many, many resources available to you. I havent seen one that says charge money for admission if youre a retailer.

This game store has truly built itself around a community! I can go in any time of the day when theyre open and pick up a game of Magic (My game of choice). I have gone to other game stores during the day when I have a break between clients and there just arent people there to play with. The community is drawn to this store.For Magic the owner is a former L2 Judge for MTG, and competed on the tour for a few years. He is more than willing to help you build, brew, design, and play new decks and deck ideas. He can do it with all budgets in mind!The store also has a very deep selection of card games, board games, new and used RPG books, and video games. They have a strong community for Magic, D&D, Shadowrun, LARP, and more! They even have a kids D&D night and a Ladies League!This is what I think of when I dream about a game store. A place where everyone is included, and built for the community! I cant recommend it enough!

After moving back it is nice to return to poly and that Chris is doing his best with the restrictions of this time. The environment is still warm and inviting despite the recent chaos.

This was a neat gaming shop. Its focused more on Magic and board games as opposed to RPGs. Theyve got an interesting selection and the vibe was laid back and welcoming. The guy at the counter was helpful and knew what he was talking about. They didnt have what I was looking for today, but it was still a great shop to visit and it definitely does credit to the old school concept of a gaming store, with weekly games being run and open tables for players to drop in on various games.

Me and the husband came to Arizona looking for different gamestores to make the perfect in store play for Commander. Polyhedron is probably one of the greatest LGSs that Ive been to. Even though COVID-19 is going on Polyhedron stayed open when they didnt have to. So all these haters that are hating on Polyhedron, please stop. I would definitely recommend this place. Wish I could give more stars..

I called ahead looking for a product and was told they have it. Went down there and was told by a mask-less woman that they are no longer a business. They are now a club and its 6.99 for a day pass to enter. A handwritten note on your front door would have been the minimum to let people know that you arent a business anymore, a Facebook post on your page would have been better. I would say its just another local business using the pandemic to offer less to its customers at a higher cost, but its not a business anymore its a club.

Great atmosphere and excellent service. The shop attendant was very knowledgeable and engaging, as well as very efficient in their service. They have many cards, but not all -- seemingly the more popular cards for commander. Nonetheless, they are dedicated to ensuring that they are constantly stocked whenever possible. Overall, an excellent experience and certainly worth spending money at and making your local go to shop.

Nice shop with a friendly staff. They got a large stock of MTG singles and a good amount of out of print sealed sets. My visit was brief, but was very impressed.

I stopped by the shop since I was in town. The staff was very helpful and I was able to get some cards I was looking for. Even though it was a weekday and in the middle of the day, there were plenty of people in the store to play some pick up games. If youre ever in Tucson I would definitely check it out.

Polyhedron is where its at. The lovely bearded gent running the shop really knows his stuff. They have gathered a magical collection of cards if you are in need of sets or specifics and have created a real family/community vibe that game shop fans strive for. They even assisted with shipping a hot board game out to a family member that I was having trouble finding elsewhere! It arrived on time and in great shape.Theyre always there when you call... theyre always on time... theyll give you their all... Polyhedron game store be mine.

Had a wonderful vist here with my fiance today. The community at the store is friendly and welcoming; the store itself is laid out like a colorful nerd mecca. We had great conversations with the staff and owner. Dont hesitate to check this place out if youre interested in gaming. It was everything we wanted in a games shop.

We came in before Christmas and... A.J.? I cant remember her name now, but an awesome human helped us out in selecting some new games. The pre-owned game selection was pretty big, too!

Amazing selection of games and figures. Very attentive in helping us to select games. Definitely adding tis to our list of places to visit when we visit Tucson.

Good clean store. Friendly atmosphere. But my 1 complaint is none of the board games had price tags. Was willing to buy, but I do not want to ask how much each one is.

I came from Iowa and they welcomed me as if I were family.....then proceeded with the coolest and most informative beat down I have had in MTG in a while...(mind the french) if I could give it 6 stars ect. My favorite of the board game stores in Tucson. The folks there are knowledgeable and helpful in away thats about finding you something that fits with your tastes and game group, not in a way thats only showing you what they think is cool. Thats the thing about games that this store gets, theres a lot to choose from and that cater to a wide range of tastes. These folks arent gonna shove a collectible card game down your throat if youre looking for a party game.I appreciate that this store charges a fair price. There are a couple in town that go above MSRP. I also like that when Ive dropped in, theres a friendly group or two going on that feel inclusive. Again, thats not the vibe you get all across town, where if you stop in you feel like youve intruded.I look forward to my next visit.

Poor trade service. Overcharged for cards as I was looking up the prices. Near twice suggested from multiple game stores. And offered less than 1/3 value for trade credit. Won’t be coming back.

First off, I highly recommend Polyhedron Gamestore. As an out of state magic player, I find this place to be the best game store in Tucson and I’ve been by all of them. The owner is a really nice guy, super personable and a lot fun to chat with. He even stayed open much later than advertised (past midnight) and chatted with me. As a night owl, I love the late hours this place offers. The magic crowd is great, with lots of friendly players that know how to have a good time. Play varies from entry level to top end competitors, so there’s a good chance you’ll find someone in your skill range to play with. New players are very welcomed and will get advice and deck techs if they seek it. The space seems small but it’s decieving, with room for at least 40 players. They have a great selection of magic singles and sealed product as well as sleeves and other card storage. The owner takes trades (at a very fair value) and even has a guy that can do high quality acrylic alters at a very fair price point. Soda fountain and snacks are available, but like any game store, if you stay for half the day be prepared to go out for food.I can’t say enough good things about this place. I felt like I walked into my LGS back in Oregon, which was really nice. I was welcomed and got into an EDH game within 2 minutes of walking into the store! This place does things right and 100% deserves your business. I won’t go anywhere else in Tucson to play magic, even though this is a 30+ minute drive from my family’s house.
