I have been here twice in the last month. The first time I had several custom hydraulic hoses made and they came out perfectly. The second time was for some valve fittings. The employees were very helpful and gave me some tips to make my project go smoothly. Its a rarity anymore to find people that know their craft. These folks do and theyre a pleasure to do business with. Thank you for the excellent service.

All around, outstanding! I took an oil cooler line from an older Porsche I am restoring. Not even knowing if they would be able to help me out or not. The gentleman who greeted me went right to the back with my line in hand, came back with in minutes, let me know they did have the metric parts on hand and gave me a quote that was hundreds of dollars under the factory part. I asked when I could come back and pick it up (thinking a day or two) he said about 15 minutes. But wait, it gets better...when I came back in to pick it up...he was able to reuse the factory connections, and the final cost was even a quarter of the quote. I had no idea companies like American Hose & Rubber existed; really glad they do! In 15 minutes I had 4, brand new hydraulic hoses for my John Deere tractor. Beautiful quality, connections sealed so as to avoid contamination and each hose had new O-rings. Price was more than fair given the speed and quality of the work. Thanks a bunch!

Great place. Helpful people. I phoned in an order for a couple custom hoses. I arrived a half hour later and the hoses were waiting for me on the counter. Great prices as well. No need to go anywhere else for jobs like this. Were lucky to have this place in Tucson.

Like somebody else on here wrote, were lucky to have this place in Tucson.  Ive gone there a number of times for oddball fittings for various hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and without exception every time I walk out with exactly what I need and have paid about 1/2 or even 1/3 as much as I expected (maybe because Im used to ordering hard-to-find stuff from McMaster-Carr). One particular instance that stands out is when I went in there about 15 minutes before closing time with an old  Zefal European bike pump in hand. The pump is a  high-quality heavy-duty one, and the mechanism still worked, but the hose was 25 years old and shot - full of splits and cracks, which rendered the pump useless.  I didnt catch the guys name, but I think he basically runs the place - a guy in his 50s or 60s.  He took one look at the pump and basically said, Oh yeah, no problem, follow me.  I went back to the bench with him, he harvested the fittings he needed from my old hose, and I walked out of there with a primo quality replacement hose, everything probably better than new, and it was still only about 5 minutes to closing time.  The kicker was that it cost me less than ten bucks! I couldnt believe it. I told him, You dont charge enough. He said, It was an easy fix. I said, It was an easy fix because you know what the hell youre doing - thats worth good money. He said just come back and see us again. I certainly will. In the meantime, I have passed the word about this place to other engineer and technician friends and acquaintances.

Super helpful and friendly, they have stuff that nobody else carries. Hose clamps, large diameter tubing, heavy duty tube, chemical resistant etc just tons of good stuff. Quality is always great and the price is fair
