Was very happy with the rock, all 90% of it. Was not happy with the fact that about 10% of the whole payload was just pulverized dirt. Wish I knew we were paying for dirt and not rock! At a minimum I could have adjusted the quantity ordered, and needed. But the more important question is why? I expected and paid for 100% rock not 90% rock 10% dirt. Thats stealing if you dont reveal this to your customers in advance. Theres nothing I could do about it once a mountain of dirt and rock is dumped in your yard. Just want to warn you in advance of this practice so you don’t get stuck short changed too.

Amazing service! I have a huge back yard and they estimated perfectly how much rock i needed. And let me tell you, it looks beautiful! And they were able to come and drop it off so quickly! Really good prices, even better service. I will never go anywhere else.

We were in need of help to get additional DG for our front yard. We need to match what we already have and only need what we could put in the trunk of our car. The lady we called was super helpful on the phone as well as in person when we arrived. She had helpful ideas and once we determined that we had 3/4 desert brown we were able to go and scoop up exactly the amount we needed. They even let us borrow a shovel. We are super impressed and pleased. We went home and finished the job. We are pleased to say our front yard looks great!

A novice to landscaping lingo, by the time I finished my business with GVDR, I felt I had been treated courteously and respectfully. Jake was extremely patient as I made my way through selecting the rock and boulders needed. He even provided me samples of the rock so that I could confirm that the right size and color had been ordered. When Paul showed up in his huge truck to drop off the rock and the boulders, after some cheerful banter, he put the truck in just the right place to have the load land in just the right place. I definitely recommend doing business with this company with a high 5 because of the employees.

They were the only one of 4 local landscaping rock business that responded to my online request for information. Their staff (Marlene) was friendly and helpful. Their Saturday delivery crew delivered on time and were able to put the rock-load in a convenient place that made spreading easier. I will use them again for future landscaping rock needs.

Good selection of material, staff is friendly and helpful, prices are reasonable. We’ve gotten several loads of decomposed granite of various sizes for our properties around town which we haul ourselves and river rocks for lining our driveway.Be aware if you’re hauling your own they don’t use scales you drive on entering and leaving as some other places do, it’s done by the yard or half yard amounts. A full yard about completely fills a full size pickup bed and may be a bit adventurous if you don’t have a pretty stiff suspension on your vehicle.
