Unhelpful and on the verge of unfriendly staff. Needs a lesson in customer service, no attempt to upsell or help besides myself guiding them through there own website...Could have saved the gas and just looked at their website myself! Seems pricey.

Pretty amazing experience here, make sure you ask for David, he really knows his stuff. Very patient and will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the lights. Sure you can buy stuff on Amazon but good luck getting extra mounting / parts or trying to imagine how things look. After about a month of having the lights we realized they were a bit to big for our space, David came pick them up himself and took care of the replacement. This kind of service is why we will keep going back to that place.

Great Selection and some pretty good Sales Reps... the one I had. However, did not take into account the height of my ceiling. He shouldve recommended a longer downrod. Now, after installing my ceiling fan, I need to purchase a longer downrod and reinstall the ceiling fan. A minor hassle that couldve been avoided if the sales professional wouldve taken the product and the installation location into consideration.

They were having a sale and I feel we got a great price. Once installed, the fan exceeded our expectations, so Chris was right, perfect choice. We will be returning to Sun Lighting in the future, they have a great selection of lighting/fan solutions with competitive pricing.

I really am happy with this place. My wife and I have been having the hardest time trying to decide how to do the lighting in our great room, from pendant lights, to the chandelier and so on. I always kind of felt a bit overwhelmed at the idea of trying to get something that matches the aesthetics of the great room as a whole. So, worrying about the chandelier over the dining table, the pendant lights over the island, the ceiling fan above the couches... I just am not an interior designer. It was just too much.Well, Faith, who is fantastic, really helped opened my eyes to how these things often come as *collections*. In other words, there is a chandelier that goes with those pendants. She was thoroughly helpful not only helping us resolve our hunt for the right items, but also in a side issue in regards to trouble I was having with a part for my ceiling fan.AMAZING customer service! The showroom was great though too. Really, Ive looked pretty much everywhere in Tucson and they are by far the best place to look for a wide selection of lighting in person that I have been to, and it really helped that we had a great experience there from the customer service side too. I almost never go out of my way to review places that arent restaurants and I just had no choice in the matter this time my experience was so good.I will definitely be recommending them to our friends and making them our go-to local lighting establishment. Sun Lighting SAVED THE DAY! We were putting up a ceiling fan during a remodel and it had to go up in the early morning and the extension was not fitting correctly. We called Faith at Sun Lighting and she answered the phone before hours and helped us find the correct extension in the right color. She then told us to drive over and she would open the door early and take care of us. Thank you Sun Lighting!

Ordered two exterior post lights and there were some excessive shipping charges. The manager contacted me and we discussed the matter. He refunded the shipping charges. The service was excellent and their showroom is really nice. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I had an excellent experience buying some new fans at Sun Lighting on Broadway in Tucson. Chris Dwyer was our sales consultant and he spent over an hour guiding us through the selection of 3 fans, for three different locations in our house. Chris knowledgable advise led us to choose the best fans for each area, and also... Sun Lighting was having a very good sale which saved us a lot of money! We will go back to their store for lighting and fans in the future.

Took 2 weeks to get fan blades for the fan I bought. Cheaper to order stock than for each order slowed the whole process. Someone forgot to order the most popular colors and lengths for the biggest sale of the year. Forgot that we needed hand held remote even though we discussed with sales guy. We rescheduled the installer three times.

Called to try and find a certain style of floor lamp. The person who picked up the transferred call had no intent on trying to help me. If I didnt know the exact name and style, he said he could not help me but I should go to their website to look. He was totally unwilling to go into his computer to try and assist me in finding a similar lamp. He was useless. That is worse service than the big box stores. I will never shop here if that is how they treat their prospective customers. This is the 2nd time I have called here for different items and I was treated the same way both times. It is time management sits down with this inept person and retrains him in customer care !!!

My wife and I visited this wonderland of lights last week while walking and were blown away by the selection. We had no idea anyone in Tucson has such selection and exquisite quality. I have been back twice since. And their customer service is excellent!

I entered the store at 1:58 pm and was not greeted. After browsing through to the back of the store I was not asked if I needed any assistance. One employee left a customer to check for a light bulb. He looked at me walked to the back and later returned. After not being acknowledged for over 10 minutes I walked out. This was disappointing to experience such poor customer service in a specialty store.

David is a jewel. He is creative and will work with you and the suppliers to get what you need. He got us a custom chandelier. Very nice and a good price.

Gabriel came out to our house to help us decide the best kind of kitchen lighting to help with impaired vision. He was outstanding. Very well prepared, had sample books with him and gave, what I believe, was his very honest opinions about what would help us the most. Also presented us with more than one option with regards to pricing. Very impressed!

If you’re going into their showroom, you’ll probably have better luck – if you’re ordering online you’ll want to rethink that. Buckle up for the most inept and unprofessional online buying experience you can find in this day and age where that shouldn’t be a thing any more. Ordered a fan/light control in a color the box stores don’t carry and Lutron pointed us here as a place we could order it. Not exactly discount pricing but hey, we wanted it in a particular color so fine – typical online purchase with credit card via secure web site and about a week later we get a call from them asking us to manually read our credit card info to them over the phone. Huh? Yeah, for “freight” (you know, what everyone else calls shipping). Apparently they don’t know how much a switch will cost to ship to us until after they’ve charged us for the switch and the “freight” folks are not hooked into their online system so they do it separately. Not making this up. You literally buy without knowing how much it’ll cost to ship it to you and the payment process is not secure. Nice. After asking for a refund they wanted me to again provide them my CC info over the phone to issue the refund and we refused, asking them to mail us a check. After a month it never came, we were never contacted so we’re opening a fraud case with Visa to take care of it. Definitely deal with these folks on a cash and carry basis only.

Bought two outdoor ceiling fans from sun Lighting. Randy came to install at 12 foot height. Randy had superb attention to detail, a customer satisfaction orientation, and took time to explain his installation. Ask for Randy to install...you wont be disappointed.

The manager, Preston, who helped me to choose five fans for my home, provided my sons and I with the most outstanding service that any of the three of us have ever had the joy to experience. He was thoroughly knowledgeable about the fans offered at Sun Lighting, gracious-in-manner and without exception tried to accomodate our search for beautiful, very fairly priced fans/lighting fixtures for the five rooms that all come togehter at our home. Now, every time I look at those fans, I feel good about our purchase, so pleased with them and our purchase. I then worked with Sandy to arrange for the installation; she, too, was gracious and accomodating. Finally, Randy, who installed the fans for Sun Lighting, was knowledgeable, effecient, gracious. You may have realized by now that I think this is the only place in Tucson to even consider when looking for a store to purchase fans and/or lighting fixtures. I cant thank them enough.
