I hadnt been to this store in twenty five years, I was in the area and went in to buy a tall can of beer. The place looked a lot different, it was a nicer more modern arrangement. The store looked clean, neat and it had a pleasant fragrance. Its a small mom and pops market, stocked with the basic grocery items. They also sell hats and flannel shirts at reasonable prices.They had a loud stereo playing and tuned into a classic rhythm and blues radio station. The tops of some of the cans of beer were dirty, so I had to search for a clean one. The cashiers were some very friendly young Asians. They charged me an extra fifty cents just to pay with my debit card.

Like a store from Boys in the Hood complete with bullet proof glass, a no smile person standing there just glaring at customers while conversing with someone else, Crackheads at the door complete that Watts riot feel. 1.69 for a gallon of water and a .50 charge for debit under 10.00 means 2.19 a gallon. Exploiting the communitys weakness for for profit!

Its just a home town convenience store thats been there for years. The owners Nice to Know You by your face and its too comfortable place to go

This place is a piece of crap! They didnt have any decent beer in stock and by the time you reach your car you will have been hit up by five different people for money. Not cool.
