We picked out a travel trailer freedom says that they would try and get it financed for us that was a week ago I had to call them to find out what was going on i was told they could not. They did not have the decency to call and let us know. So much for customer service. I do not recommend buying an rv from them
I recently visited the Marana location looking for a toy hauler. Most units had the price hanging inside but when I inquired about one I was interested in without a price, I was told that they wouldnt tell me the price until I gave them my information. When I asked the reason I was told they probably wanted to make sure I was serious about purchasing and not wasting their time. The whole experience made me feel stereotyped and Ill never purchase from this place. On the bright side I found Cactus RV and they provided excellent customer service!
We felt like this was more of a used RV car lot than a nice professional company. When we entered there was immediately a sales rep. Waiting to help. He asked some questions to help decide what we may be looking for. When we told him we wouldnt be buying for about 9 months he seemed to have lost interest, all though he did answer our questions and took us out to look at some very over priced used RVs. They looked like they were in good condition but they were filthy inside. Like when someone moves all their stuff out of an apartment and then decide they dont need their deposit, let someone else clean it, but they didnt clean it either!! Once he had filled his obligation of taking us out and showing us a couple of used RV styles he then left us on our own. It wasnt a bad experience but it definitely wasnt a good one either! Way better prices elsewhere so we suggest you do major research before purchasing an RV anywhere.
We love our new Travel Trailer. Giovanni our salesman was a very polite and helpful young man and Christian who was the acting GM the day we were there did a great job getting us the trailer we wanted for the price we wanted. One of the service guys even gave me his mobile number so I could call him if we had any questions on our first camping trip. After purchasing the 2019 trailer that was like new but was used and bought as is we had problems with the brake drum heating up on one side of the trailer. During our first trip out we got stuck up in Cottonwood about 3.5 hours from home due to the breaks heating up excessively. I called the service guys mobile number and he got Newt who manages the service area to help us to get our trailer back home safely. They looked at the brakes and found what they thought was causing the problem. We picked up our camper and parked it for 3 weeks. Then we took it camping about 20 miles from home. When I got back I felt the break drum again and it was so hot. I called Newt explained the problem still existed and he said bring it in we will make it right. They ended up turning the drums and replacing everything else with new parts, they even put new bearings and repacked the hubs, they took it 15 miles, tested the heat on the drums and made sure both sides were breaking correctly. The cost to fix it was $902 parts and labor and Newt covered it all for FREE because it was a safety issue. Thank you Freedom RV we love our camper and can now enjoy it free of worry.
Great place. Nick especially made our visit special for my wife and I. We enjoyed the time and gained knowledge. It was exactly what we wanted to accomplish from our visit today. Thank you again Nick for taking the time.
The staff did not seem to want to help us. They seemed more interested in their phones and sitting around. They directed us elsewhere, which was not helpful.
Is good store. But I cant make my dreams come true 😥
Great people jose is the best.
They were very helpful but did not buy from them.
This place has 5th wheels! First dealer we could find with a reasonable inventory of towables in a while! Check them out up on the north side of town! Great group to work with!
This location is a dive. Go to their main store. Much better
I purchased a brand new 2018 Newmar Dutch☆Star 3718 in Oct 2019. Sadly, 😔 my personal experience with Freedom RV wasnt enjoyable whatsoever. I paid market value for my Dutch☆Star. The two salesmen were ONLY focused on making a Sale... not at all interested in my needs! Neither of the salesmen ever bothered to followed-up with me on my experience nor express ANY interest 🤔 whatsoever in my concerns following my purchase. Also, I never even received a thankyou 😔 much less a return phone call when I attempted to contact them. Eventually, I brought my concerns to the FRV GM owner, Devin Murphy however all I received was a reluctant thank-you. He certainly does not honor his Promise to make you feel like you are Family!!!This dealership boasts that they are a Newmar Platinum Service Center, but this too is far from the truth. Originally, I went to Freedom RV in Tucson to have my 2018 Ventana LE repaired. I was told by FRV Service Mgr Brad White that my Ventana needed to be sent back to the Newmar factory in Indiana for minimum of 4 months to have repairs done under warranty. I had purchased this Ventana Diesel pusher from another notoriously shady dealer, Myers RV in Albuquerque. BEWARE! all of you fellow 1st time RV buyers, as this Newmar RV dealer is even worse than Freedom RV. Is that even possible, I wonder? 🤔 Thats 1 scary thought for sure! Oh BTW, lest I forget to mention... FRV service Mgr Brad White threatened to summons the Tucson PD to have me arrested for trespassing, if I ever returned to their dealership. Owner, Devin Murphy explained to me this was simply an over reaction on the part if his service Mgr. Mr Murphy did allowe me to have several of my Dutch☆Star warranty items addressed at his secondary FRV service location in the Tucson area.Hopefully, in sharing my own personal horrendous experience with this Family Owned dealership will help prevent albeit forewarn other unsuspecting RV buyers from having such a Negative experience!
Great went to look at a used pusher thinking of getting off the grid with all the BS going on .. Was taken out to look at one that was around my price range .. Take with the sales person. He was friendly and not pushy at all .. Thanks for that !!!
Please check your paperwork. Worse experience ever when buying at a dealer. 1st they provided all forms to sign completely blank, their excuse was said thats how they do business since 1997. 2nd, dates where from a day before, their excuse was it had been last months offer and that was why, I still signed with the current date. And the most important, they changed their prices. When I asked about the amount that was 7k higher on the paperwork they had promised the sales man said it was the msrp price when it was a lie. It took me to show the invoice that it was showed via text days prior for them to adjust their price. I had driven over 3 hours for that deal and after it was done they behaved as they had done a favor for me when I only asked for what I was promised. Make sure you get an invoice picture via text or email. They tried to rob me, thats how I feel.
I had a great experience here. I am so happy with my RV. I worked with a young guy and he brought in the closer Christian who made the numbers right for us. Already went on a few trips. Thank you Freedom RV. Also newt has been very helpful please thank him.
We had a wonderful experience from the beginning to the end. I absolutely recommend this company and its knowledgeable friendly staff. We were going to buy our new RV from RV World in Yuma (stay far away from this company), but experience was so horrendous, we decided to call other dealerships. We spoke to Hugo on the phone, told him what we wanted and that we needed it soon. He displayed the utmost professionalism from the first conversation we had and we were able to purchase our RV through our conversations on the phone. Our RV was clean and ready to go when we arrived. We stayed overnight in their secure parking lot moving our supplies from our trade-in RV to our new 2018 Sprinter. Our paperwork was done quickly in the morning with Angela, who also was very friendly and extremely professional. We did end up having to travel back to Tucson to have the heater fixed (2 wires were backwards ), but the service department worked on it and found the problem quickly. When we called and told them that the Hester wasnt working, they said come back and we will get you right in the service department They got us in and out of the service department when they said they would. They finished working on our RV about 4:30 pm and we hadnt planned on where we were going to spend the night. We asked them if they could recommend an RV park close by. They said dont worry about it, just stay here for the night. We really could not for anything more from such great service. Thanks to all that made our experience 100%.
This is the 7th Rv that I have purchased. In retrospect, I wish I had bought all my previous RVs from Freedom RV. What a pleasant experience dealing with the General Manager, Christian, and his associate, Nick. Even though I have owned other RVs, Christian took the time to explain each feature, and to make sure that I also understood. I highly recommend this dealership - High on service Low on prices. What more could you ask for. When it comes time for number 8, I will be back to Freedom RV
My wife and I were there to buy a trailer and there was a bad step on one of them. My wife almost fell and sales guy just laughed and said oh we need to get that fixed! Very disappointed in lack of care for customer safety and people in general. We will never go back there.
Amazing Staff. Tyler showed us around, we had some laughs about Michigan. They have nice RVs and Camper Trailers. Reasonably priced as well.
We worked with Terry to find out trailer. He is friendly and really easy to work with. We were able to get a wonderful deal on a gorgeous trailer.
We purchased a Travel Traveler from Freedom RV. The overall experience was great. As soon as we were greeted until the close of the sale it was fantastic. They even found something within my budget that we liked.I have recommended several friends to Freedom RV, who also purchased. I will continue to go back. Feels like Family. Local and Friendly.
Looking for a reasonably priced used fifth wheel. All they have to offer are very expensive units.
Freedom RV staff listens and works to fulfill a customers goals. We wished certain specs and price range, and from the sales staff, finance department, to the service department they listened and delivered. Thank you Freedom RV.
Nice sales manager and friendly sales guys. Great deals going on .
Very unhappy with the service.bought a 2019 coachman camper. More things wrong with it then my 1973 holiday camper.they will not come get it, I have to bring it into the service center.had heated words with them, almost turned it back in . will not buy anything from them again .after sale customer service is the worst Ive ever seen, ..the owner probably has no idea what is happening in his store.
Freedom RV has the best selection and best service out of all of the Tucson RV dealerships. The owner, Devin, takes an interest in every customer and make sure each person feels like a top priority. You should definitely check out freedom if you are in the market for any kind of new or used RV.
Im giving one star only because no stars is not an optionThese people are so dishonest. We were almost ready to sign and purchase a camper here with a high pressure sales team. More and more unexpected and unexplained fees kept being added and when we questioned them they started attacking us and saying my husband didnt really want to make his wife happy. We left and later that week found the same trailer (a year newer) for $10,000 less with no hassles. And only when we were at lazy days did we find out that the freedom rv people, who had been willing to add a tow bar to my car for a fee, would have destroyed my transmission if we had ever towed. Freedom said my vehicle would handle the towing but they lied. Stay away from here. Go to lazy days. Find what you want without all the pressure or hassles. And less than expensive to boot.
Helpful staff even though they didnt have what we were looking for.
Bought a lovely RV from these folks. Living the tiny home life and loving it!
Very helpful
Lots of inventory. No pressure atmosphere. Great place.
Bear with me as this will be a very long, very thorough recollection of my experience dealing with Freedom RV, but afterwards, you will not have any doubts about taking your RV or trailer ELSEWHERE, ANYWHERE BUT HERE.In August, I took my trailer to Freedom, as the bearings needed to be packed, ac needed to be serviced, and the ac was still leaking (after freedom “fixing it”). I dropped my trailer off on a Saturday morning, and as I was going out of town, did not need it back till Monday. As we got closer to being back in town on Monday, I called just to check on things as I hadn’t heard anything from the shop as far as authorization for a costly repair, nothing. Upon speaking to the receptionist, I was informed they had not even looked at my trailer and were “just pulling it into the shop”. Ok, no big deal, it was only morning, they had all day, I didn’t need till end of day. Some time passed, and I received a phone call from the head service writer, who informed me that they tested my ac, and the compressor was bad, and it would be over 1000 to get a new one and install it. The rooftop ac was ONLY A YEAR OLD, a coleman mach 13500btu. They told me the ac was only drawing 7amps(this is also clearly typed on my paperwork), and that meant the compressor was bad, and their exact words were “We have to condemn this ac, its not safe”. I told them to clean the coils the best they could, and I would take the trailer as I could not let it sit in the shop, I have work to do. When I picked up the trailer, no one wanted to really explain to me what was wrong with my ac, they just kept saying “When your ready to order a new one let us know”.When I got the trailer home, my Dad and I took the faceplate off the ac to make sure the coils had been cleaned properly. We noticed Freedom had ripped the ducting that went from the blower and guided the air out the vents. It needed to be unscrewed, but whoever had worked on it tried to just pull it off, and it ripped. They duct taped it and didn’t even tell me (we have pictures). The heater coil was also just thrown up into the stack, so we had to reattach that as well. After cleaning more debris off the coils, we put everything back together, started my genny, and cranked the ac. Then we waited. We waited for some sign that the genny was stressing from powering a faulty ac, waited for the ac to start blowing warm, something. Nothing ever happened, it ran just fine, ice cold. AND IT STILL LEAKED! Incase you are wondering, I am not referring to condensation that sometimes drips through the filters on a humid day. I am referring to when the monsoon season came and dumped 2.5 inches of rain in 30mins, lots of that rain poured into the cab of my trailer, through the ac unit.Today I took my trailer to another shop in town. They informed me that the gasket between the ac and the trailer had gone bad which was allowing water, when it rained, to leak into the ac unit and into the trailer. They also informed me whoever had “cranked down the ac unit to the trailer” had done it with such torque they bent a part of the unit. Upon checking my receipt, from FREEDOM, it says “re-secure ac gasket and tighten ac”. Lastly, they performed a system check of the rooftop unit, and they informed me that the ac has a total amp draw of 11.5 and operated PERFECTLY.Needless to say, I will NEVER, EVER give another dime of my money to FREEDOM RV, nor will I recommend them to any of my friends who also have trailers for their small businesses. The fact that the technicians and the service writers would have the nerve to try and con 1000 dollars from a local small business owner makes me sick. If they would do it to me, they WILL do it to you.
Very clean Tvs an d good salesmen on site to help you out.
They were nice and direct no messing arould

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Not pushy and very understanding of our needs.
Great staff and good deals on small trailer and pop ups.
I am only giving this a one star because there is no option for a zero! The sales person was very short with us and acted like we were a waste of his time. We have bought with Nelson RV in the past with awesome customer service! We will never buy from Freedom RV!
Helpful staff not pushy good service
Dishonest management. Decided to keep my refundable deposit. I will get my money back and now they are going to get as many bad reviews as I can post without making a sale. Doesnt make much sense to me, but there go.
