Dropped off a broken printer they charged us a fair diagnostic fee and called us same day to let us know that the printer simply would not be worth investing money into to repair. While it was unfortunate to learn this I greatly appreciate them being honest and not trying to sell us parts or labor for a machine that wasn’t worth it. We will use them in the future should our need ever arise.

Our reliable Brother workgroup printer had seen better days. It was noisy, had print quality issues and the inside of the color printer looked like a clown had vomited everywhere. As much as we wanted to replace it, everybody loved the old Brother, after all, it was easy to use, everybody knew how to scan to their shares and, well, after all these years, its part of the family. Our Archie Bunker.A call to Onyx resulted in a quick fix. After things were back up and running, the technician reviewed the service report and recommended a belt service and replacement of some broken plastics. They ordered the parts and a couple weeks later, they took our beloved old Brother in for an overhaul. Upon return the next day, our Brother printer ran like new. No more streaks, no more clown vomit to deal with when changing the cartridges. Archie Bunker went out the door and we got Keanu Reeves back. Want proof of a satisfied customer? Well, our receptionist no longer swears every time she sends a print job. Life is THAT good now. Its brightened the mood in the entire front office. When I told our accountant that Onyx also had their own brand of toner cartridges that cost about 1/2 of what the brother ones do, he almost smiled. I saw the corner of his lip turn up a bit and the dead, dull look in his eyes brightened just a bit.....for a fleeting moment. Yes, Onyx even helped me make our accountant ALMOST SMILE. If that is not a ringing endorsement, I dont know what is.

Cassandra was so pleasant and so knowledgeable, and she made me feel like my issue would be easily taken care of. I also liked how she charged me a single $45 diagnostic/repair fee and said if it needed parts those would be additional. My OfficeJet was repaired in under 2 days with no additional parts or fees! And Cassandra was so nice to carry my printer out to my car. I also found out that Onyx is a great source for refilled ink cartridges at a third of the cost of HPs. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I took my printer in to have it reprogrammed for my iPhone to print and when I went to use it for the first time I didn’t want to cycle the ink cartridge so I took it back and they told me there was nothing wrong and that I didn’t know what I was doin and recommended that one of their technicians should come out to my home and hook it up for $70So I decided to just surprise them and pick it up and told the receptionist that I just wanted to take it home and do the setup on my own.But then she said that there was a problem and there tech needed some time to fix it so I waited.Then I told the tech that I was going to take it home and upload my iPhone to it myself and didn’t need his help and he refunded my $70.So I took it home an in a matter of a few minutes I had it working and printing pictures for me.So I believe that they were trying to CON ME OUT OF $70 so I won’t be goin back !!!!
