Just a typical thrift store. Im always looking for vintage electronics which like a lot of thrift stores this one is lacking in. Has more electronics than Goodwill though.
Love this store. Its a bit unorganized but its well worth it to search for those deals. The pricing can be confusing sometimes. Especially if you are not aware of which sale might be going that day. There is a ton of great merchandise though. You need to plan on spending a couple of hours at least when you go. Store is clean & surprisingly most people wore a mask as it was required. This is a bonus to me & not the norm in my area. Very pleased with this & did not mind having my son along. Overall great store with only minor complaints but the great deals & COVID safety precautions outweigh any negative. I will return as soon as I can.
The place was full of customers. They even had a Easter sale going on. I happen to be lucky cause just about everything was 50% off. The place was very organized and i actually found 3 items to add to my game collection.
This is a friendly thrift store and its well organized.
Love it! I always find good deals. The store is neat and organized.
Very organized thrift store. Can be super crowded at times! My go-to thrift store
Great finds, variety of everything!
Friendly staff, found some great deals.
A bit picked over but its a nearly organized store with discount days and color coded mark downs. No big finds yet but a few little things. Should be 3.5 stars for average...okay store. Ive seen thrifts with much nicer clothes.
EMPLOYEES VERY DISRESPECTFUL THEY DO NOT CARE HOW LONG YOU WAIT TO GET CHECKED OUT OR IF YOU DO GET CHECKED OUT
Me and my boyfriend love going here u can really get nice clothes nothing wrong with them. Love this place
Friendly and efficient.Found my size inshoes, jeans, & shirts.
They always have good items of clothing.
I love to go in and browse this store, but I rarely buy anything, because the store always seems dirty to me. I know the building is old, and its probably just my perception, but thats how I feel about it!
Avoid the weave wearing zombie! The non responsive, drugged out cashier. This clown had her name tag on backwards, refused to answer questions and pushed our items off the counter (didnt even attempt to pick them up). At least Lea, (the other cashier), did and handed them over (albeit damaged). Although this place has a few hidden gems, if you plan to buy you better make your way to Ruby or Lea.
If there were 2 more stars they would deserve it. Plain no thrills pricing and White Tag 99 cent clothes. No not junky but nearly new clothes. We enjoyed our visit and will return.
Great prices, nice staff, and excellent discount for nurses and teachers on Thursday! 🙂
Great bargains. Nice items and friendly staff.
Excellent products. Love this place
Someone needs to remind them this is a thrift store where all items are donated by people like you and me. The prices are outrageous. You can go to Walmart and purchase new items cheaper than these used ones. They have sales where they make certain color tagged half off problem is there is nothing in the store with those color tags. Whoever owns this place is banking off the generosity of peoples donations and getting rich doing it. Save your money and go to salvation army or Goodwill
I was excited about my first visit here, until i got home & realized what they tagged the dresses are not true to size. They have a no return or exchange policy, which i did not notice in the store. Now i am stuck with $68 worth of clothes i can not wear! Not happy!!! Why would any business take your money & not be willing to even exchange?
Love shopping here, however the prices are getting higher and higher. Not sure that I’ll keep shopping here unless the prices become more reasonable. Also other stores bag some items so that they don’t collect so much dirt and dust.
High pricing for donated stuff. For profit store. That being said...place was busy! Best organized clothing thrift store Ive even been in. Obviously people want good used stuff at less than retail pricing. Very clean store!
Good cheap store
Not much in the way of quality mens clothing but youd be hard pressed to find a better selection of quality brands of womens clothing. I found nothing, but my wife cleaned up... They were having a 99¢ sale and my wife spent $40. Definitely worth a browse.
Great store! Spend a little time and even less money... that adds up to a great day of shopping!
Nothing in store shelves was empty
Black Friday shopping here was enjoyable. It was very organized, and staff was friendly and helpful! I always enjoy the store, and will continue to return.
I love this place. Always putting out new merchandise great variety of clothing for everyone. Shoes, purse, hats, toys just some of anything your looking for.
AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!! Met lots of great people and saved lots of money. Looking forward to the Black Friday Sales.
I love shopping here. The only issue I have is they sometimes over charge for items. When I thrift shop, I am looking for great deals.
Was not at city thrift
It was great the poeple were friendly and I have found many nice items Thx You very much
Currently, city thrift is my favorite thrift store in Tupelo! They have a huge selection, decently organized, and new merchandise is constantly being put out. They have great sales, so definitely sign up for their email list or connect with them on Facebook to stay up to date on all of their special offers. My personal favorite day to go to City Thrift is Monday. Every Monday, they have a sale where one tag color is 30% off, another tag color is 50% off, and best of all another tag color is 99 cents as long as the product is priced at $19.99 or less. Ive gotten some amazing lamps, picture frames, baskets, fabric, and so much more for 99 cents on a Monday. I always buy their large bed sheets when they are 99 cents...they make excellent tarps for painting and crafting! City thrift is always a great place to treasure hunt for the unique piece or antique dish or clothes for the entire family. Two tag colors are always on extra sale each week, so drop in and check them out.
Friendly staff good deals
Awesome supply of awesomely priced used goods. Can always find something I need.
I love coming on Mondays to see what tag color will be for $1 anything under $20 of the tag color will be for $1 and they have a lot of really nice clothes and toys
Very clean store. Staff very kind and helpful. Discounts for certain tags and special senior discount, so ask for it.
Need more help in store
This is a store full of used products from thoughtful people everything is a good price
Good prices.. found several items I liked.
Lots of great items. You can find almost every thing here. Its mostly second hand items
Take your time and look for great deal and discounts on certain color tags..
This store is fabulously zoned and organized compared to most thrift stores. Those of you comparing this store to Goodwill should maybe do some research on the practices Goodwill partakes in - and while youre at it, maybe visit the Goodwill Outlet Store in Hernando, MS. If you think for a second that most Goodwills are better than the Tupelo, MS City Thrift store, then youve obviously not visited enough thrift stores. Maybe if youre ONLY looking for kids clothes or some Ole Miss clothing, then Goodwill is a better option. But if you want anything that looks unique or hard to find, City Thrift is by far the better option. Not only are the clothes good at City Thrift (and most are fairly priced unless they are a top name brand - which even then they are far less than retail prices), where City Thrift really shines is in their home goods, furniture, and toys. If you are a toy collector or have kids, you cant go wrong with their toy section. Everything is reasonably priced and they have some super hard to find and unexpected merchandise at times, a lot of which looks brand new. The clothes are always clean and well organized and they stock every size well, and it is the only thrift store where my husband and I can both regularly find clothing that fits and matches our personal styles. The fact that they rotate their tags with varying percentages off and have holidays with clothing or home goods only being 99 cents only makes it that much better! The nature of thrift stores is that their merchandise changes, and I strongly think that those of you who feel youve had a bad experience give this store another chance! After all its the only true thrift store in Tupelo at the moment.
A great place to find hidden treasures.
Great prices on used/new clothes, decor, holiday, children, and listening music while one shops...
This place is great overall, clerks could be a bit more friendly. I have also had a few wallets pickpocketed while shopping here so be wary.
Different assortment of things (shoes, clothes, toys, books, etc...). Staff is friendly. Place is outdated but it should be expected from a thrift store. Overall a very good place for second hand things.
Always enjoy looking. May find something I like or need.
Kinda expensive. However I just moved here from PA so I am used to those prices there. Thrift stores r much cheaper there.
Had a great visit good prices for great items....
I wish I could put 0 stars! This place sucks!!! Its way too over priced especially since everything is donated!!! They price it like they paid for it. I went in a few days ago to buy some childrens jeans for my 5 year old and it was 6.99 for jeans that are ripped that are not supposed to be. I mean come on!!! Greedy much. I used to go to the one every week in Clarksville tn, they had great prices (1.99 kids pants) and nice staff. They had great deals everyday too, this one has orange tag 50% off Monday thru sat. And there literally is like maybe 2 orange tags. The staff is rude and super slow!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK EVER AGAIN!!! And YOU SHOULDNT EITHER!!!!!!!
Always lots of things to look at and buy at reasonable prices.
Ssds
Nice place and good stuff 😉
Wonderful finds and a great selection of books for adults and children.
Good place to pick up some great deal
Great prices for great clothing
Great sales and selection but highly overpriced on many items!
Great service and alot of bargains.
Prices extremely high for items that are donated to store all donated not purchased and its not for charity
Very neat and clean easy to shop
Good selection but expensive for a thrift store in this area. If you hit a sale it is okay.
One of my favorite places to shop!!!
Extremely over priced stuff and its all donated. May as well go to a department store and buy new, same price
Negative 1 star everythings over priced for a thrift store you can get much better prices at a place like goodwill or salvation army
Good place to stop and shop
So fun walking around and looking

Not a great childrens section, but if you an adult and looking for a bargain, this is the place for you!
This place sells used clothing and house items at yard sale price.
