Clean and organized location. Very spacious to walk around and shop without banging into everything and everyone. They have a lot of specialty items I cant find at other stores. I found some cool two sided nail clippers. Flat tip and a curved tip for different nail shapes. I like to just go there to look around sometimes because I almost always walk out having purchased something. The staff are friendly and helpful. My husband likes that theyre open until midnight. They recently installed self checkouts. Thats always a plus for me.

I had a appointment for 6:00 pm for a Covid-19 vaccine. I came at 5:50 pm and checked in. The person at the pharmacy (White male with bangs and glasses) asked if I could come in tomorrow because they would have to open up a new vile and potentially waste 13 vaccines. I told him it was no problem and came the next morning at 0800 am. The same guy was working and told me they accidentally left the vile out last night and all of the vaccine was wasted and I had to come back AGAIN. I eventually went to another place to get my vaccine.
Drive thru is extremely slow. I have waited 45 minutesUnable to back up and get out.
Today the drive thru service was extremely slow. Its usually not this bad but today the wait was about 30 minutes. Not ideal post op with everything already submitted. Crazy. I wont let this one time effect all the other better experiences.

Let me say that I was hesitant to go to this CVS based on past experiences, however, I must say that their customer service is pretty on point. I called and asked about a prescription that was supposed to be transferred over. They said they didnt have it but would follow up with Walgreens for the transfer and get back to me by tomorrow. I kid you not, the pharmacy tech called me back within an hour and said my prescription was ready for pickup. I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service and follow through. I hope this is a sign of good things to come.
My parents have MediCal but this CVS refused to offer flu vaccination to them with Sanjuaqine insurance.

Original review ~February 2020Pharmacy regularly ignores or actually hangs up on incoming calls and can take days to fill even common or over-the-counter available prescriptions. Manager Bruce raises his voice and speaks snidely to customers that air concerns or complaints. Avoid this store; there are plenty of better alternatives, many within less than a mile.EDIT 11/05/2020Months after cancelling all prescriptions at this CVS, Im suddenly being hounded by 2-3 calls per day to refill my prescriptions. Calling the pharmacy, they tell me that they cant do anything and that I need to call customer support. Calling customer support, they tell me that they cant do anything and that I need to call the local pharmacy and cancel my prescriptions that I already cancelled. This company has zero customer consideration.
Don’t go to this worst pharmacy, After waiting in line for 20 mins the Chinese lady at the window tells me to come back in 10 mins because we have to count 30 tabs out 90. She seems like not very Educated tells me to come back in 10 mins, how long does it take to count 30 tabs and hand it to me. Never ever I will go there. Plus they done pick up their phone for long time. Walgreen’s is the best Customer service.
28 minutes on hold with the pharmacy before I gave up & this was all through the automated phone system! And this is not uncommon!When you go inside, they are kind & helpful but AWFUL over the phone. Losing a lot of coustmers this way! Need to improve!
They are short staffed. I went a couple of weeks ago and was very pleased to get my medicine with a 10 minute wait. They closed at 9 because their hours changed due to staff. They took 4 people after me. I was impressed with their customer service! Thank you!

Literally the worst pharmacy in existence. I don’t know how this place is still in business. I have never NOT had a problem with an order. Take my most recent experience for example: I sent in my refill request Monday of last week. I never received my usual text about my prescription being ready, so I called to see if it had been filled. After waiting on the phone to talk to someone for 30 minutes, I was told my prescription was out of refills, but the doctor wanted me to have a visit before refilling. When I asked if anyone ever planned to call and tell me this, I was told no. So I call my doctor to get it figured out, and after a few back and forths where I had to wait on the phone for over 30 minutes each time, the correct prescription was finally sent in. Still no text saying it’s ready. Well I call back, and CVS says they never got the prescription. By this time my doctors office is closed for the weekend, so I have to wait until Monday to contact my doctor. On Monday, my doctor actually shows me the fax with the time stamp that it was sent to CVS, but he calls it in AGAIN just to make sure they got it. Several hours later, still no text. So I call and wait an hour this time to speak to a pharmacist and am told they are really busy, and oh, I think we’re out of that medication, let me check. Well they have a 30 day supply, but my prescription is for a 90 day supply. The guy says he will check if he can fill me a partial prescription. After some waiting he says yes, but that it will take him several hours to get it ready, but I’ll get a text when it’s ready. No text all night, this morning I have to go to work, so I rush over tonight to pick it up as soon as I’m off, hoping it’s ready despite no text. Yes, it’s ready! The guy is checking me out when he goes to look up something. He’s gone a long time. All in all I was in line for over 40 minutes. He comes back and says he’s sorry, but he cannot give me the medicine because they CANNOT fill partial orders. So why did they tell me they could, and why were you about to give it to me? After some back and forth, he calls other pharmacies to see if they have it in stock. It’s in stock at the furthest pharmacy, but I can get it tonight. So here I am, 1 1/2 hours later waiting in ANOTHER pharmacy line to see if they Will finally fill my prescription for me. Seriously debating screaming or just paying out of pocket in the future so I can use Rite Aid and avoid the disaster that is CVS. Seriously people, if your insurance lets you go somewhere else, DO IT!!!

Overworked. Overwhelmed. Understaffed. Bad attitude. What most employees dont understand is that sick people rely on them for fast service, pleasant attitude, and a little sympathy to feel better. The pharmacy is usually the last stop to feeling better after a long miserable sick day waiting for the doctor to prescribe meds.
Overall worst pharmacy/ service I have ever experienced. Employees there take their sweet time. Stand around and chit chat while there is a line of 10 people waiting to pickup their prescriptions. One woman in specific is always very rude when I go in there. No one is ever at the checkout. I once had the doctor there look at my prescription at the consultation window and go hmmm I think this is for ______ right? Went in last night to pickup a prescription that they had called and said was ready the day before, waiting in line for 30 minutes at 8:30 p.m. Just for the woman to tell me that they had sent it back because I hadnt picked it up soon enough and asked if I wanted to wait for it it be filled. So in other words,wait an hour for them to take it off a shelf and and put it in a paper bag considering it is already portioned and packaged. Ridiculous. Will not be going back to that pharmacy any longer. Dont even waste your time.
I have never used the pharmacy section, but other than that I usually find what I need in this store. I had a great experience with a cashier named Rodelf. I think he might be new as I have not seen him there before. However, he was nice and very fast at the checkout.

Every time I try to contact the pharmacy I am on hold for at least ten minutes and have been left on hold for as long as forty-five minutes. Even though I have an automatically recurring prescription every month it is never ready on time. Today they told me that my prescription would be ready by 4; I arrived at 6 and they told me that it was not ready and that I would need to come back in an hour. This pharmacy is by far the worst CVS I have ever experienced and I will be moving to a new pharmacy.
I overheard Bruce, manager at CVS, raising his voice to a customer who couldn’t speak English because she couldn’t use a certain coupon on certain items she was purchasing. His demeanor was embarrassing and demeaning. Bruce was impatient and frustrated with the Hispanic woman. He needs to learn how treat ALL people, who shop at his CVS location, with courtesy, respect and patience. He needs to apologize to that woman. Narrow minded people do not belong in customer service.
This pharmacy is horrible. Very very slow service. The employees don’t know a lick about customer service. I’ve been here 4 times in the last 2 days because they can’t seem to communicate with each other or me with competence. I’m currently waiting still for the same issue and have been here for 30 minutes already when I was told it was ready to be picked up this morning. I’ve watched 3 other people have the same issues I’m having in the few times I’ve been here. I’m definitely going to switch to a different pharmacy and I just switched to this one not even a week ago.

Quite possibly the worst pharmacy Ive ever been to. Prescriptions are never ready on time and the pharmacist seems to disappear for extended periods of time during their busiest times.
I have never been to a worse pharmacy. Never answer the phone. Tell you 45 minutes until your Rx is ready but mean 4 hours. Just horrible, avoid this place like the plague.

WORST pharmacy service EVER!!! They took over 8 hours to complete my prescription today! It very likely would be longer if I hadnt called my doctor to resend my prescription elsewhere! This is a common issue with this particular pharmacy! If you are in great need of your meds for the same day then avoid this pharmacy by all means! However if your health allows you to wait numerous hours or possibly days then by all means take your needs to this daily understaffed pharmacy!
Pharmacy department is horrible. Today they lost my business completely. Calling corporate first thing in the morning to file a complaint.

This place is aweful. I have nothing good to say. Doctor faxed over Rx. This group of idiots lied to us repeatedly. Finally fessed up that they had it and blamed the doctor office. Said they would call if there was a problem...not call = no problem. I get there and go to pick up window...they dont have anything, etc. I find out that in insurance information we provided was never input. I am sent back to the drop off counter and start over. Now Im told the wait time is 30 min so I go to the back of the queue. I will never return...and I will warn others everywhere I go.

The worst pharmacy ever. I just spent one hour waiting in drive-thru line. Orders are always delayed. Even at the counter, it takes forever to receive the medication. Most of the employees are grumpy and show no respect to their customers.Prior to this, I used the CVS on McHenry in Modesto for two years. Great customer service and great employees. I missed it so much.
My 5 yr old daughter had a 3 prescriptions sent out to be filled at this CVS. Called CVS back an hour or so after the we left the doctors office and got a itll be ready in an hour. Gave my phone # to received a text message for them to let me know that the prescriptions were filled. FOUR hrs passed by and I again called up and the same thing was relayed to me that it would be ready in an hour. I replied that I had gotten that same response 4 hours ago. The pharmacist replied that they were short staff but that it would be ready in an hour. After an hour I left to CVS and still waited an additional 1/2 hour. I informed the pharmacist that the prescriptions had a promise time of it to be completed by 3:00p.m. Pharmacist gave me a lame excuse that it might have been delayed because of some labeling and that she was sorry. That did not make sense. I replied to her that my little daughter was at home suffering and her Im sorry is not going to cure her. They had 5 people working there not sure if that would constitute being short staffed.

I have been driving around for about 2 hours trying to get my prescription filled and the lady at modesto told me to try turlock so I tried calling on the phone and they wouldnt give me any info so I drived all the way there for nothing but a very rude pharmacist.
