They did an excellent job from the minute I stepped into the store until the delivery drivers left today. The are professional and up to date with all appliances and communications!! The ease of knowing exactly when they would arrive was awesome!! I highly recommend you shop local Tuscaloosa!! You will not regret your decision!!

Excellent service. My old refrigerator stopped working. We purchased a new refrigerator from Holly. She worked with us to deliver it the next day. The delivery guys were very professional and were particular in making sure we were pleased with their service. Great company as always.

We had a slight misunderstanding at first, but the owner stepped in and got us our new refrigerator. This is a great store.

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE is all I can say about the two women who work at Acker Appliance. I went there to inquire about an oven and they treated me with such disrespect. My husband went to Acker approximately 3 weeks later and was appalled about the way he was treated. I’m not sure if the women at the desk either own the company or have some type of ties, but they still need to treat customers with respect! This is the first time in my 55 years that I have felt compelled to write a review. So sad that a long-standing company in Tuscaloosa has employees who behave in this manner.

The lady that helped us was very nice and knowledgeable. Their prices were very reasonable and I was able to save some money buying a dented fridge.

I purchased appliances from Acker several years ago and went again today to purchase a washer and dryer. I was reminded how rude they are. Although their appliance selection is good (they are the only vendors in town who sell Speed Queen) their customer service/relations needs a lot of work! I dropped a quick $1992.00 with not so much as a thank you!My next door neighbor bought the exact same washer and dryer last week and had the exact same experience. Not so much as a thank you either. I don’t know who the owners are but perhaps this will help address a long standing current issue.

Could not have asked for a better experience. After waiting nearly 2 months to resolve a warranty issue with Lowe’s, Acker took care of us, and had our new dryer to us quicker than we expected. We’ll never go anywhere else.

This is a wonderful place to buy appliances. We got mostly scratch and dent and one new appliance. The folks we worked with as well as delivery was great! We will definitely recommend and go back for more!
