This Publix is well organized and tidy. And the bakery here is lovely. Best muffins and sugar cookies!

Nice an clean reasonable prices but I felt kind out of place.. Because I am Auburn fan... But other wise I loved it

Was in area on business. Stopped to pick up a snack. The store was smaller than most Publix markets. But it was spotless( like most are). Had a large friendly staff. The prepared food area was very large and stocked and plenty of staff to handle the students from university of alabama. It looked good smelt even better. An excellant presentation and selection on a par with a lot of Restaurants. And the staff was friendly and happy. Indicates a good management team. A lot of registers open to handle the business. When i am back will get more prepared food. John kenney

Directly on campus, this location is super convenient for the UA community. The parking lot is laid out horribly though and it’s often frustrating going during peak times.

The parking lot monitor at the bottom of the parking lot is so rude. I parked at the bottom of the lot because the other monitor in the other parking lot told me I could park there even if I wasn’t going to Publix. I get out of my car and the monitor comes up to me and starts cussing me out saying that I couldn’t park there and when I tried to ask him why he just ignored me and tried to call someone to give me a ticket. I asked him who he works for and at first he said he works for himself and then he said he works for publix. So y’all might want to look into that.

Perfect place for a sub sandwich. Pub subs are outstanding. The staff is a bit slower at fixing them but the quality is good.

Nice little Publix right where it is needed, next to a university. Full bakery right next to the deli. Great for tailgating treats. And large beer selection. Store my be smaller than the normal Publix but it had all the essentials needed in a grocery store.

They now have touchless pay! I’m so glad that they added this. Now I can pay with my Apple Watch without taking out any cards. I think they have improved on their safety measures. On my latest visit today, I actually saw workers wearing masks.

First visiting Publix I am from out of town

Clean and well kept grocery store in Tuscaloosa. People are helpful and friendly. Also a great spot to shop for students. Very convenient and located on university boulevard. Very nice place to shop. I found this store to be nicer than many stores near me.

Now that I live in Silicon Valley I value Publix even more : They have the best category of grocery and shopping needs you can imagine . Things that other supermarkets don’t have you can find them all here .For almost 7 years I lived a couple of blocks away from them and was their customer and saw nothing but professionalism from the staff .Keep up the good work, fellas . Wish you were here in California !

Nicely organised supermarket relatively in the city Center of Tuscaloosa. Nicer than at of the big ones like WALMART with motivated people trying to support as best as possible to make your purchases easy. Recommended place to shop for your daily needs.

Workers are friendly and go out of their way to help you, but there are quite a few things that bother me since I started shopping at Publix a few months ago: Three times I purchased items (mostly dairy items) that were way over their expiration date. On another occasion I have been overcharged, which was corrected, but nevertheless, as a consumer I expect two things: products to be fresh and to be charged prices according to the labels. Its a small store, so those things should be doable.

I ordered several birthday cakes at other locations and theyve always turned out great. Maybe its just this bakery? But the cake was hideous, all the colors were wrong and they spelled my kids name wrong. Never again.

Shopping here on Saturday, during the football game was absolutely disappointing. My friend and I were walking in when a young blonde woman asked us to leave our water bottle on the podium. We simply dared to ask why, then her boyfriend, or “son” or friend, whatever he chose to identify himself with, came up to our faces and asked us if we were giving her a “hard time”. It was beyond unprofessional and physically aggressive. I’m disappointed in the employee for her lack of respect for her job and for her customers. My friend and and I were not from this town and were unaware of the policy. Being from Florida my family and I have shopped at Publix for over 50 years and I have never experienced such blatant disrepect towards a person they do not know, let alone a customer, who is a guest in their store. If it is Publix’s standard to have non-employees’ partners and friends soliciting and threatening customers while they are working I will be shopping elsewhere.

Staff might be nice here, but everything here is overpriced. A tiny bottle of sunscreen was quite literally $8. My roommate bought some cheese that would have been $5 at Walmart for over $13 at this Publix. Do not shop here unless you absolutely have to or if you enjoy spending money.

I just made it home from orientation and I have to say that the these individuals and soon to be fellow co-workers made me feel welcome! And they already are like a second family to me as well as the owners and supervisors of this fine establishment.

My experience here largely depends on the time of day and day of the week. Horrible on Sunday nights, not bad in the middle of the week. Sometimes their produce is fine, sometimes everything is out of stock. Overall, I would recommend it, especially if you can capitalize on the bogo deals!!

Most all Publix stores are fine. This one is a little smaller than the others in town, but it has almost everything the others do, with the only exception being a pharmacy.

Although it is expensive compare with the other supermarkets, the location is perfect for the students. Stuffs are very friendly and the store is always clean.Also, they have buy one get one deal in a product everyday.
