The best lunch we have had in months. The menu is simple, but everything was fresh & delicious: I had a grown up grilled cheese with pesto & Josh had their signature burger: both fantastic. We also sampled a chai tea latte & a cold pressed juice: also great.Plus, the building is fantastic--located in the old downtown. Loved the decor & the fact that theres a ton of space: seating out front, inside & upstairs on the balcony. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.
Looking for super satisfying coffee in Twin, look no further. Stopped in for some breakfast and coffee. Ended up getting the French toast and a machiato. Coffee was so good I decided to get a second cup of something else on the menu to go. They offer everything you can think of coffee-wise, ie cappuccino, mocha, machiato, latte, medium to dark roasts etc. The food was also really tasty. We will definitely stop by here again if we pass through Twin Falls.
The only bad thing is this farm-to-table, downtown Twin Falls cafe is closed on Mon.-Tues. 😓 Not only is the menu farm fresh & proudly local -- they smoke their own trout -- but features absolutely delicious, nutritious food you can feel good about, like that exquisite Idaho Trout Benedict & -- for weekend brunch -- shrimp & grits. They also whip up coffees & cold-pressed juices, smoothies. If they have Hokey Poke for Weekend Brunch Special, GET IT. Its healthy & better than all those other places.
Way over priced & owner not very friendly ~ only been once & ordered mac n cheese & was ridiculously overpriced & portion very small. The atmosphere Is cute though Is all I can really say about Yellow brick.
This place is simply amazing. Really nice people, great food. And great coffee. I got the chicken bowl and everything was so fresh and flavorful. Im going back for breakfast...
We stopped in at 9:30 on a Saturday before kayaking to Pillar Falls. I ordered the duck confit sopes and they were phenomenal and such a big portion. My husband had the bacon quiche with confit potatoes and loved it as well. The food came out very quick as it wasnt super busy. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend coming here!
So we stopped in here during our visit to Twin. It is safe to say that the food, atmosphere, pressed juices and all around friendly staff were beyond exceptional. The chefs are absolutely fantastic and the food was incredible. Hats off to this place!!
A friend and I had lunch there a couple of days ago and enjoyed it so much! The service was efficient, friendly and fast. I had the Pesto Grilled Cheese that comes with a small mixed greens salad. It was unique and delicious 😋
It was okay the food that we ordered it was too sweet
Modern and open space. Great atmosphere as well as servers. The French Toast was a bit soggy the preserve great touch no need for syrup. No liquor license so no bloody Mary or mismosa but they do have a bloody beer Wich is different for me. The one thaing I didnt expect is the plate didnt come with a full meal but never the less great place to have something small to eat.
Vegetarian options. Check. Vegan options. Check. So far so good, but damn the prices are high! $13 bucks for a salad. $16 bucks for a burger? Right after I sell my kidney, Ill be back for desert. Food is average at best. If you are a hipster trying to look cool and wanting to tell people about your locally sourced organic wheatgrass cold-pressed gently massaged and yodeled soup and salad combo on InstaSnapBook to go with your selfie, OMG this place is for you!
I dont like to give under 4 starts unless the food and service was terrible. Both were mediocre. We both had salads, the steak ones. The steak literally had no flavor. There looks like seasoning on the steak but it lacked flavor. The dressing was different and not enough. The salad was just lacking overall. They were out of two different kinds of juices. I thought we were getting fresh made juice but they were bottled (by them). Two juices and two salads cost us $47.50. No thanks!
I just want to start this review by saying I love the atmosphere and all the pleasant employees who work here! Also all coffee drinks are delightful and far out-do any lattes anywhere else. Disappointed that the quality of food has gone done in the past year though.. Tried the salmon soba noodles and not sure why the broth was vinegary and inedible. It soaked into the noodles which made everything taste pretty bad. I’d recommend only their breakfast options if you wanted food, there must be a different chef creating the breakfast and lunch dishes because it just doesn’t make sense. The Salmon was very good quality though and made up for the unpleasant acidic flavor throughout.
Stopped here while on a roadtrip from Colorado. I am vegan and am used to a lot of options back in Colorado. I wasn’t expecting to find such a gem in Idaho but it exceeded every expectation and more. The bbq jackfruit sandwich was hands down the best sandwich of my whole life and the oat milk matcha latte was also probably one of the best of my life. The serving sizes were generous and the atmosphere was otherworldly. So amazed.
We headed for downtown to look for a place for lunch. We try to stay away from Chains when on road trips. This place was my best memory of Twin Falls, Idaho. When in a state with great rivers and streams like Colorado, Utah or Idaho, I always order trout and the staff at Yellow Brick Cafe had the best presentation of a trout dinner/lunch that I have ever experienced--and it was delicious. The cafe itself looks like a converted industrial building. It had wonderful quotes from famous people on the walls, as well as the Wizard of Oz motif throughout the building.
Best place to go for a quick bite or to hang out. Their rotating menu and weekend specials always has amazing options, and their coffee is phenomenal. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Fantastic food. Seriously the best Ive had in Twin Falls since moving here. Everything Ive had is delicious. The steak is amazing (so much grilled flavor and not overcooked), the chickpea fritters too (moist and way better than any falafel Ive ever had), and today I got soup of the day and Im not sure what soup it is but its so good (tastes like a mix of some kind of grain, broccoli, and cheese that is blended a bit). Everything has so much flavor. Im going to try everything on the menu. Eat here. You will not be disappointed! As you can tell, I am in love with this place. I used to eat Sweetgreen every day and cant find anything like it in Idaho. Thank you Yellow Brick Cafe for existing and feeding me nutritious, good quality, and delicious food. I never write reviews, but this I had to. I eat a little more indulgently one day a week (on Saturdays) - my cheat day, and Im looking forward to trying to risotto!
Service was great. Food was amazing!! Thank you for a great staff!!!
Great place to visit. Try the burrito.
Visiting Twin Falls for the weekend and was looking for somewhere that served breakfast and specialty coffee drinks. Everything about this place was very eco friendly from the farm to table food to my straw made from avocado pits. The food and coffee were both incredible. The atmosphere was very inviting and friendly and the decor was cute and inspiring. Great place to sit down and get some work done. We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in town!
Was very clean. Service a little slow but polite. Quite. Very nice.
Food was delicious, decor was simple but open, overall a great experience.
Best omelet and hash browns I’ve ever had!!!! Maybe one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place.
The food was delicious. Great restaurant with focus on local whole foods. Nicely remodled space. Nice flavors and creativity. However its a bit pricey for the portion and it seems that some of it isnt as fresh as it could be or may have been prepared a bit too far in advance. The photo is of an event we had here with dishes served family style. These were several of the plant-based dishes we ordered.
I got the pork belly blt and I was blown away. One of the best sandwhiches ive ever had. The chef is clearly very passionate. It was also, including the salad, literally as much food as I could eat, which is insane given how good it was and the fact it was 12 bucks. My cappaccino was also stupidly good. This place couldnt be better!
Excellent ambiance, friendly staff, and wonderful food! Ate twice here and had the same great experience. The autumn toast from the brunch menu was lip-smacking delicious! The garden patch super bowl was healthy, delicious, and filling. The quinoa was cooked perfectly, and the chickpea fritters were great.Highly recommend this place to anyone in Twin Falls.
The food and atmosphere were great. We sat upstairs on the outdoor patio. It was beautiful. However being so far from the kitchen you dont get a lot of service. The bottomless mimosas I ordered were very slow coming. We had to go downstairs several times to see about getting another. They werent even that busy. Overall it was a good experience with some room for improvement.
I ordered the Chicken Bagel sandwich. It was described differently on the menu. It was huge! It had I think a Korean slaw on it that was incredible! Sweet with a touch if heat balanced with the acidity of pickles. It was crowded today. The upstairs was closed, probably due to restrictions from COVID-19.
They really should update their menu to inform customers they only do smoothie bowls on week days. Waited all week to take my kids in for the weekend and they dont even serve them on weekends. They dont have that posted anywhere on their website! :/
Great coffee and love the ambience. They are also very careful about wearing/asking patrons to wear a mask. Will come back
A go-to when I am in town for work trips! Such a funky space with so many unique design touches. The food is definitely a different experience and I love the emphasis on local ingredients. The range of veggie food is impressive, with several fully plant-based options always on the menu. I had the trout benny on my most recent trip and it was outstanding. The time before, I had their tofu bowl and a custom matcha hot cocoa, exceeded my expectations. Per other reviews, yes it is pricey for the size but for the quality ingredients and local emphasis I think its definitely worth it. Keep up the awesome work YBC!!
This place is CLOSED and nothing on website to advice that it was closed 10/3/21- 12:00
This is our 2nd weekend in a row and weve only been in town 3 weeks. We will likely be back next weekend before we leave town. That is how delicious it is from the drinks to the food! The service is outstanding as well. Portion sizes on some items are large, be warned. :) A huge plus is that those who work here are all wearing masks, very appreciative! Biggest gem in Twin Falls! Oh and their upstairs deck is perfect!!
Work lunches. Social gathering. Coffee dates. Clean Eating. Local Beer and Wine! Love Yellow Brick!
We had a great experience. I got the Brisket Hash and a Peppermint Mocha. The hash was unbelievably delicious, like nothing Ive tasted before. We will be back next time we are in town.
Their Matcha lattes are REALLY good!
Best food in town. Everything is thoughtful and executed with care!
We were just driving through on our way to Shoshone Falls and decided to stop for lunch at Yellow Brick. I ordered the frittata. It was THE BEST frittata I’ve ever had! I expected a slice of something that was cooked hours previous and reheated. What I received was cooked fresh in a personal sized cast iron pan. It had great flavor and texture. Could not have asked for a better meal!
Yellow Brick was amazing. I had the breakfast burrito and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere is awesome, definitely refreshing to see some progressive vibes in Twin.
Amazing place. Cute ambiance. Kitchen made a mistake overcooking my steak and manager went ABOVE the call of duty for the make good. This place is doing what it takes to be here the long run so come here, eat some great food and support this place. I recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Great wine, great beer variety and a lot of healthy options for a meal.
Best omlette and mocha! Food is medicine and this place is tasty and healthy! Super tasty smoothie and fruit bowls.
This place is fantastic. My husband and I both ordered lunch bowls. He ordered the Garden Patch and I had the Moroccan Magic. Both were excellent and the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place.
Great food. Really nice atmosphere on the rooftop patio. Would definitely go back
Super tasty food, beautiful atmosphere, and gorgeous platings!! I loved every bite and cant wait to go back.
First time visit and we absolutely love this place! Great food. Super fresh produce. My burger was cooked perfectly and the egg was cooked exactly as requested. My wife’s salad was absolutely amazing. Doma coffee is fantastic and they made my latte with real skill. The atmosphere was fantastic. The service was amazing. This is a must go to destination. I know we will be stopping in every time we are downtown.
I attended Drag Bingo with my daughter and sister. It was packed and they brought some chairs and a table out for us. The event was fun, as expected, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious!
Fantastic food, friendly service and great ambiance.
Everything I have ordered from Yellow Brick Cafe has been fresh, delicious and a combination of delicious flavors! Definitely recommend!
They close the kitchen before they “close”. So you can’t trust their hours. They close at 3pm some days 10 other days. You can’t get juices consistently despite being on their giant menu. Drove all the way into town for a $7 overpriced small juice and they won’t make them fresh. $7 is how much it should cost for someone to make it in front of you fresh. The fact that I can’t count on them to even be in stock this place is worthless as a juice place. They really don’t want your business that bad.
Yummy food, great coffee, and the atmosphere is just neat. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, efficient and very helpful. So glad they opened up in Twin, love going here! Highly recommend you visit if you want pure yumminess 😊
I have been to this restaurant 4 times. With each visit, both the service & food Maintained a steady decline To the point where my family & I will not be going back. This is a counter-service restaurant with prices that reflect full-service, folks. I have never had decent service at the counter, nor at the table. The food is mediocre at best. The atmosphere could be ok if a few changes were made. Each visit there were menu items they were out of. My daughter ordered a smoothie bowl that tasted like blended water & they actually had put old wrinkly berries on the top. My silverware was dirty, we were never offered refills on our drinks, and our table was never visited again after our food was dropped off. They need to hire waitstaff & offer full service dining to reflect the menu prices. The one To two persons they have working behind the counter is responsible for making all drinks in addition to taking orders & delivering food from the kitchen. Too much responsibility to place on a 16 year old kid. They are overworked & the service reflects that.
The atmosphere is very nice. The cook was welcoming, friendly, eager to help. Food was delicious, under cooked the first time around, spot on the second. We would have appreciated a more attentive waitstaff and less personal chatter behind the bar.
We really loved this place while staying in Twin. It’s hard to find good vegan options, but they had a decent selection to choose from. I had the pea salad and a delicious IPA. Staff were super friendly and the ambiance was amazing! Great patio as well, we will definitely be back!
Food was amazing. They were super friendly. We sat up stairs on the outdoor balcony. Nice and quiet. Haven’t left yet, but we’re already making plans to come back.
Wonderful variety of tasty healthy food. Menu is creative as are the dishes. I had the Greek Feast for lunch and it was absolutely delicious! Not only satisfying to the taste buds but fills you up without the heavy tired feeling afterwards!Very nice selection of craft beers, decent wine list, gourmet coffees espressos etc.Love it!
I really wanted to love this place more than I did. It is super cute and, most importantly, has delicious and uncommon dishes that are made from quality ingredients and done well. I can tell the service meant to be better than it was...maybe it was just an off day.
The chicken chilaquiles are really good. Spicy, but not over the top and very filling.
If you are looking for a refreshing meal to shake up your taste buds, this place is it. The meals are more reasonably portioned than anywhere Ive ever been, and the ingredients are all thoughtful of the local economy. You can even find a good comfort meal or two here, but this place thrives on fresh vibes. The beer selection is very decent, and the service is always welcoming.
I will start by saying what I enjoyed about Yellow Brick. The atmosphere is fantastic. The restuarant is clean. The food was delicious, and made with nice, fresh, ingredients. The coffee was great. There were a couple things I did, however, find unappealing that would detour me from returning. We ordered 4 entrees, 3 specialty coffees, and a smoothie. With a $10 tip, our total was almost $90. The portions were small so I found this a little steep for lunch. The woman who took our order and served us was not all that friendly. I find myself to be a positive and friendly person, I said hi when arriving and got no response in return. I said thank you when she cleared our plates and got no response again. I paid $5 for a latte and took my cup to the counter to refill with the drip coffee, she told me that is for customers who paid for coffee. I apologized and said I assumed my purchase qualified and offered to pay. When leaving we got no good-bye, thanks, or come again. I love to support local businesses and I love seeing down town thriving, but to me service is everything. When there are so many other places to choose from, I will choose to go to the places who serve best.
Cute little place. Food was okay but not worth the money. Was first time trying. Sister got a salad and there wasn’t really anything on it. Very boring and barley any meat for the price. The pouch egg that was on it was over done so when you cut into it.. was just a hard boiled egg... my burger was over cooked. Food took awhile to get even though it wasn’t busy.
Our meal was absolutely delicious--nourishing and skillfully prepared with in season ingredients. Staff were delightful and attentive to making our experience the most enjoyable possible. If I lived in Twin Falls Id be a regular.
Truly, the only place in Twin Falls where culinary art and comfort food combine.
Super, super cute place! Food is delicious but a little pricey. Worth the money but still almost $15 for most items for lunch..
Beautiful place and amazing ambiance. love all the food and drinks they serve. all these bad reviews are not true and i hope people come to their senses and realize the hard work it takes to run a business. 10/5 for me ❤️
Very good, healthy dishes that satisfy. The Sunshine salad has a delicious pesto sauce that ties in all of the rice and veggies together. The Kale salad had a tasty dressing also with crunchy chick peas that served as croutons. The chef came to our table and personally asked how we liked the food. Well done.
This place is killing it. Great space, soundtrack, service, and product. Trout Benny, cold press juice, and coffee are all 💯.
I had to come and change my opinion of what I think of this place! Today was such a nice experience placed my order to go was ready when I arrived. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a chickpea and kale salad which I had previously ordered before however I feel like they changed something about it which is just AMAZING! I totally was very impressed this go around!
Great space! Coffee was delicious and the service above and beyond. If youre travelling through Twin Falls, you should stop in. Excellent menu. Well definitely be back!
A fantastic find for comfort food and friendly staff. Will definitely be returning here in the future!
Very good food. Great coffee! I appreciate the precautions for severe gluten issues. Its rare for me to eat out and not end up ill. Staff are always super sweet to my toddler.
The one thing I like about this place is the Vegan dishes. I hope they are able to keep it up. Last Saturday a friend and I went in and had their Beans & Greens ( Chickpeas & red leaf lettuce or cabbage). It was crunchy, delicious and spicy. And they usually have a good IPA on tap too. I have not really been disappointed in their menu and from what I can see of their meat dishes it seems customers would have some nice choices. I hope they stay open. Twin Falls needs this type of place.
A fresh new cafe is open in downtown Twin Falls. The atmosphere and food was original and genuine. Our family enjoyed a variety of dishes. The organic menu was flavorful. I love that there is a place I can take my family and have exceptional healthy options.
Good food and at a reasonable price. Not to mention the good service.
Food was great! Highly recommend it. Something for those that have a certain diet to stick to. Food presentation was great and some are very unique. Love the selection of local drinks.
Great atmosphere! I felt like the background music was tailored for me. The food was very good. I will return for breakfast! Hospitable and friendly owner and workers.
Love the restaurant and their food options. I will support them and eat there as often as I can. I think bigger portions may be necessary for most men to enjoy their dining experience. Decor and ambiance is perfect. Looking forward to enjoying Yellow Brick in downtown Twin Falls.
Great primer, fancy recipes. Great experience. Private clean bathrooms. Remarkable spot.
The food was good, and the menu was limited but obviously centered around natural, organic, healthy ingredients. The price seemed a little high however I realize quality and cost goes hand, and hand. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, where any person could come in, and relax and be theirselves.
Amazing fresh and healthier food. The chef knows what he/she is doing in that kitchen. Highly recommend.
I took my daughter and two other ladies here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. The environment is fun and its very welcoming inside. The food was okay but I felt the prices were a little bit expensive for what you got. My reason for three stars was due to the customer service. The woman at the register seemed irritated and was very unpleasant. After paying nearly 80$ for four chicken bowls, 3 coffees, and a smoothie, she reminded us that we should not be refilling our 6 dollar specialty coffees because the refillable coffee was for the customers who had paid 2.50 for refillable coffee. She made it very uncomfortable. Due to service and price along with portion sizes, I will not return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone else. There are so many great restraunts on Main. Im surprised by this!
Love the food; Smoked Trout Benny was the best. Nice staff. Definitely one of the better places to eat in Twin.
Took my sister here for her birthday lunch. The food was delicious! I got the grilled cheese and it came with a fresh and yummy salad. Super satisfying and well priced for healthy food in a relaxing and friendly environment. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in Twin Falls!
I enjoy the environment here. It’s as though New York has come to twin falls, but with a rustic elegant twist. The food is great and most of is a healthier blend for those of that watch what we eat it’s a great stop on a busy day for a quick bite. It is a little more spendy, but healthy food always is. It’s more than worth it to me to have a healthy food restaurant option available to me when I’m on the run and can stop in quickly and run. The service is great and the staff knows my order and I’ve only stopped 3-4 times. I jokingly walked up this morning and said I’ll take my usual. AND she told me what it was. That is the silver lining, and makes clientele feel noticed. Thank you for caring enough to remember. Stellar service, two thumbs up. Oh and one more thing, I noticed some previous negative comments from a disgruntle employee, grow up and move on. You didn’t fit the cut or the mold for this service company, count you blessings that you were removed before you made a fool of yourself and move on. And please stop asking your family members to post negative reviews as well. It’s very immature, just to get even. Take responsibility for your actions or short comings and move on.
Love the ambiance and exposed brick walls. The food is delicious. Its healthy yet wonderful. It reminds of something you would find in Upscale California!!
