I took my car to East Texas Automotive because they participate in SNAP Auto Loans. Im used to being able to at least save a few dollars on Auto parts when Ive brought my car into a shop, but I wasnt able to here because I was told the shop wouldnt be able to insure the work. That and the pricing would be my only knock. I ended up with a 1200$ bill for a oil pan and having it replaced and my oil filter and oil changed. I appreciated the customer service, Brandon went above and beyond when we had an issue with the SNAP financing. Thank you East Texas Automotive.

Brandon and his team were professional and courteous from the time I dropped off my vehicle till I picked it up. After diagnosing the issues with my engine they put together a cost for the repairs prior to the work.They explained to me exactly what needed to be done and why. Brandon literally saved me. I took in my son’s truck that had been at another shop for six months with zero progress. Immediately Brandon recognized the problem and began an extensive forensic on the truck. He was able to find the problem, give me options and to this day the truck is running great. Needed a heater core replaced on a 2000 grand marquis. This was back in may of 2020. When I tried to use the heater this fall it would not blow hot air. I took it to another mechanic who said the radiator reservoir was low of antifreeze and several plugs under the dash were not connected. I am very dissatisfied with the work and will not return.

I wish I could give 10 stars! This place is top notch! Brandon has built a great reputation built on honest and integrity. I recently mixed diesel exhaust fluid into my diesel fuel by accident. My truck would barely run and was getting sicker by the day! I called Brandon and he said to get it to him ASAP. He went above and beyond and had my truck back to me in just a few short days. Its running better now than the day I bought it! He even had the rental company come pick me up and he and his wife Ashley even delivered my truck to me when it was finished! What other mechanic does that? I was so impressed, I left my wifes car there to get some body work on a wreck she had been in previously. I dont often take the time to leave reviews but thought I needed to share my experience! I wont be going anywhere else!

Best auto shop in Tyler hands down. I trust them from oil changes to larger breakdowns. Owners are SUPER nice and involved in everything that the shop does. I would never consider anyone else.The only downside is they wont drive me to work ;)

I was in and out of their shop in good time, they serviced my vehicle for a fair price & recommended windshield wiper blade replacement at 50% off the cost of materials and labor was free for the wiper blade replacement ($9 total). We went to a dealer for our Buick and they said it was going to cost us 1800 to fix some actuators!!! We took our car to east Tx automotive and it was 1/3 the price!! They gave us excellent care and made sure we were satisfied. Love this place!!!

After hearing many great comments about East Texas Automotive, I decided to give them a try.They quickly diagnosed the problem, provided a plan of action to get me back on the road. I was excited that they correctly diagnosed the issue, and I received an unexpected bonus. Not only was the vehicle fixed, but it also had quicker acceleration. The bonus of 10-15% better fuel mileage was a huge plus.I walked excited about my experience, but I gained a lot of knowledge from Brandon as he informed me about various aspects of my vehicle that nobody had ever shared. Great place to go get your truck work on

Ive used them a couple of times and was satisfied with the work. I would use them again and tried to recently. However, was very disappointed when I called them to work on my truck which is a 1990 and was told they cant work on vehicles older than 96 because they dont have the computer to diagnose that old of a car. Yall are mechanics, you cant figure an issue out without a computer? For that reason I give it 3 stars because they are limited in the vehicles they will repair. I will reiterate I was happy with the work they did on my not so old vehicles.

If you need car repairs this is the ONLY place you should ever use! Theyre detail oriented, friendly, and fast. Weve been taking our cars to East Texas Automotive for a long time and we havent ever been disappointed!

East Texas Automotive did a great job making electrical and mechanical repairs to my Buick Lacrosse. I have used them for automotive repairs for several years and have been happy with the work and the price.

This will be a little lengthy but if you want to save yourself you will read it! I took my truck in 15 months ago to this shop because it was dying and having all kinds of electrical problems. I had it at a shop just before taking it to them that had it for 2 weeks and told me they could not figure it out and i should take it to ford. I picked it up without charge from them and decided to try these guys as they had works on my dads truck and done ok. This was the biggest mistake of me auto ownership life as 15 months later and almost 7000 my truck is still broke here is the breakdown of what happened. I took my truck in and almost 2 months after i first dropped it off i was called and told it was ready. I went to pick it up and paid my $1800 bill for the truck to die before i got out of the lot. I was told the pc need to relearn something to drive it for the weekend it should clear up. I tried all weekend to drive the truck but it left me stranded on the road several times. I took the truck back Monday morning and told him it was the same. He had my truck another 12 months as i had to call and check on my truck all the time as they called me 1 time in the 12 months to let me know what they were doing. Tom the manager never had any idea what was going on with me truck i had to wait for Brandon the owner to maybe call me back with excuses of why it was not ready or the next thing he was going to try. After a total of 14 months i was finally called and told it was ready. Again i go to pick it up pay almost $5000 and it dies before i get out of the driveway. I am told this time it was just a cold it was not showing a code even though it was black smoking and running bad. So i try again to drive my truck for the weekend and it continues to die this time it seems to always do it relating to reverse. I take it back Monday and ask for a refund until they can fix my truck as it has taken so long and i didnt want to be on the hook for all the money while they try again to fix it. I was told they would not refund my money as me truck is better than it was because it only dies sometimes now they had fixed the codes it was throwing. I decided to let them try to fix it and not back charge my card but that was a mistake. He had my truck for another 5 weeks and told me he can not fix it. He has refused to refund me saying my truck is better even though its not fixed it has died on me 5 times in the first 6 hours of taking it home. I am taking it to ford Monday where i should have in the start please chose this shop at your own risk. I am not going to have to fight for the 7000 i spent to get a truck that dies still but is some what better because some of the codes are gone. Beware of this shop horrible customer service and will charge you even if they dont fix it!

Had four shocks, ac tensioner pulley and ac belt replaced on my 2002 Chevy 2500HD. They did an outstanding job! I highly recommend using them.

I wont say nothing bad but I will never go back here.

Its not easy to find a mechanic you can trust, Ive used them several times on different vehicles, Ive found them to be reliable and trustworthy. They do a good job for fair price.
