Very nice people they helped me out with finding what I need they were very respectful and helpful
God sent these people!!!!!. They lowered my price of labor to 90 dollars on a 500 dollar job to get me safely to Mississippi. I cannot say my gratitude. But without them . Id have never made it
Apparently can’t do any alignments as far as I’m concerned. Have been told that they can not do any alignments on trucks that are lifted, wide wheels, long tailgates. For cars they can not do any that have 22 and above rims. I definitely do not recommend them I would recommend Alignment King.
I would not recommend nobody to take their car there. These people are liars, they’re manipulative and unprofessional. First they lied about the amount it was going to cost. Then agreed to fix it for the price the store clerk gave me, took my money and it’s still not fix with lights on that’s wasn’t on before. They kept my car 2 days and I’m still dealing with the issue they claim they fixed. I’m not only posting this review, I’m also making a complaint with the Tyler BBB
Danny and Tim were very helpful. I got a battery. It was very fast. Thank you for a great service!
I stopped to my tires checked so that I would not be stranded with a flat tire on the side of the road. When I pulled in they supposedly checked the air in every tire and told me I was good to go in less than 60 seconds. As I pulled away I could see my tire stems we’re not recovered with the caps. They were all on the ground. I felt so uncared for as a customer. I had to get out myself and pick up the caps and screw them on.
Had a tire replaced by them and the front desk receptionist and the head mechanic were super nice and helpful when there were some misunderstandings along the way (on my end). Highly recommend them and I will return because of how nice they were.
Great service. They popped off some old tires from a project car for me! Thanks fellas
I i’ve been a loyal customer of this location for 20 years… Until today that is… I have the 3-year alignment plan… I just called them today to set up an appointment for my four-door truck to have it realigned… Turns out they got a new alignment rack and none of the crew cab vehicles will fit on it… Pretty unprofessional in my opinion… I’m sure that Pep Boys will still honor my alignment plan, I would have to drive all the way to Dallas… Pretty disappointed
Needed my tire fixed, got it fixed. Best customer service place in Tyler as well. While other places didnt have the time, Pep Boys did.
Driving out of state and noticed tire was getting low. With their booked schedule they managed to get my truck in right away and take the nail out and patch. Thanks Pep Boys
My fourth time having to get my power steering done, they don’t do nothing right the first, second or third time... the pep boys in mesquite Texas is way better and run by the same owner, you are better off driving all the way to mesquite, they will have your car done quicker and if it’s something like power steering it will be done in a few days where as Tyler pep boys takes two weeks or more to do anything.
So, I found the tires I needed on Friday 2nd July and made an appointment for Monday 5th July at 10:00 AM. I arrived 15 minutes early and Tim told me they are running about 1 hour behind because 2 employees short. OK said we would come back In an hour. When we came back he told us 15-20 minutes. 35 minutes later said the same thing (liar). After discussing with the manager he told us the only tire installer was working on something else, suspension problem I think, for a walk in client. I asked since I had an appointment why didn’t he break the guy off what he’s working on and install my tires. Said he could not do that. So, fair warning that the appointment times you choose online do not mean anything to this local store manager. He puts walk in customers ahead of customers with confirmed appointments. At 12:00, two hours after my appointment time, I told him he is incompetent and that he could cancel my purchase of a set of 4 tires. Then I left.
Bought a master cylinder from a store in DFW. I now live in East Texas. It had a lifetime warranty and was defective. Tyler doesnt sell parts anymore, but they gave me the corporate contact. I spent close to 45 minutes on the phone with their rep and he told me to buy another MC from a different store and to send him the receipt for that and the warranty info on the original. I followed these instructions precisely and I was supposed to get a refund. My info was sent to them on May 5th. I finally got the following response on July 5th.High wear and tear items used between 1992 to current (2021) would NOT indicate manufacturer defect, but instead normal wear and tear. Suspension components, especially brakes and brake parts are high normal wear items.Based on that information, we are not able to support warranty refund.Ana O.A master cylinder is not a suspension part and if they dont want to honor a LIFETIME WARRANTY, they shouldnt scam you into buying the part based on the assumption that you have a warranty. I think I know why they no longer sell parts. Word gets around about dishonest companies. I would never use them for repair either, based on my experience.Edit: Ive spent way too much time on this to contact your support group again. Ill chalk this up as a learning experience and take the loss.
Great customer service reasonable price great service they go above and beyond to make you happy
Reserved an available slot on their online appointment scheduler. At store was told the online appointment scheduler means nothing. “can’t see you today”
Pretty simple really. Called to schedule an appointment for the next day. Told me I didn’t need an appointment and to just show up. After I arrived and requested the oil change I tried to schedule. I was told to come back tomorrow. It’s the little things that truly make or break a business, but it’s a Pep Boys chain so you can’t expect much.
They couldnt follow the simple instruction to call my number instead of my wifes even after being corrected twice. Then they texted her phone telling us the car was ready when in fact it wasnt.22hour later it was supposedly ready but when we got up to speed limit the car started to shake badly. Come to find out 2 lug put a were loosened while in their care.a tow truck had to come pick the car up to take it back. When we picked up the car the end time Roy the so called manager verbally attacked my wife and I and threatened us. I have taken this issue to 2 levels of management above Roy. The area manager in has been wonderful. But Roy needs to be removed immediately.I emailed the address you provided and got no response just more proof that pep boys doesnt care about customers at all
I would give this place 0 stars if I could! LAZY AND COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!! All I needed was a plastic piece for battery which is less than $10, nobody would even look at it and told me to schedule an appointment which I did then I come in the next day for appointment and was told it would be 3 more hours and that it would be ordered but yet they didnt even look at it so how do you know the parts and NOBODY was willing to do anything to make it right. This place is a joke and zero consideration for your time and set appointment that they do not honor.
They were extremely busy and also short-staffed, and were still able to help get my tire fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Friendly service, would recommend.
Made an appointment to get 4 new hours at 6pm was told my car should be ready close to 7. My car didn’t get brought in till 6:40 and we didn’t leave till 7:30. Employees were not very nice and were not in a hurry at all. Good price tires but not worth the wait or the rudeness.
I wouldnt give even 1 star if I didnt have too. Theyre advertising Copper tires but 3 get 4th free and free installation.. I called yesterday to inquire about the catch. I was assured no catch but you had to get online only. Ok, I can do that. I ordered online scheduled online only to get there and be told oh we cant install them today. Thats only too schedule a pick up of the tires. WHY WOULD I ONLY WANT TO PICKUP 4 NEW TIRES THAT YOURE SUPPOSED TO INSTALL FOR FREE!!! Not my first rodeo with Pepnoys, but it will be my last. What a crock!!
Way overpriced! Save your money and go somewhere else!
I went here last year for new tires. The tires were a great price and had no issues with the quality of the tire installation. I did have to insist on the sale price because they did not want to honor the sale initially. I also had to insist on removing unnecessary add on services. They really didn’t want to remove the extras. The main reason for 2 stars is because I was told I urgently needed new struts. I took my vehicle in for a second opinion. My struts did not need to be replaced. The strut pads did not even need to be replaced.Know what you are buying when you shop here and get a second opinion before you pay for additional parts/service. I’m glad I got a second opinion, it saved me a lot of money.
I needed two new batteries for our diesel truck, only place open for service was Prep Boys due to COV19. The price was fair also the service was friendly, unknown to me is that they left off the insulation around the batteries to protect them from engine heat. I discovered this about two to three months after install, talked to service attendants and they acted like no big deal, also they came up with lame excuse as to why its not there problem. There last words where you find the insulation from ???we will pay for them.
Hope you didnt buy anything expecting them to warrant your purchase. Pepboys was bought out and the parts area closed. If you dont have the original receipt for your purchase, they will direct you to call a number that nobody will answer. If they did pick up, youll find out that Pepboys have lost all receipt information after their companys sale. Complete joke of a company.
Thank you for the help and first and nice people up there
I will never go anywhere else for my car issues. The customer service is unparalleled! Roy is extremely knowledgeable and he was professional. I’d recommend them to anyone!
Their retail side is closed but they still do vehicle service on the right side. Very fast and polite gentleman work there.Only place in Tyler that didn’t have a 2 hour wait today.
Went to Autozone to get a headlight, the guys there were unable to help me and could not install it. I decided to slide on over to pep boys. Preston came out and was super awesome and had my light put in quickly and efficiently. Thank you Preston, I hope you stay around your awesome and you know what your doing!! ps. give him a raise--lol
We stopped to get tires for our horse trailer, and they were so nice. They got a fan for our horse, and checked the bearings in our tires, and fixed them for us. Great place with amazing workers and service.
I went in needing to get new tires, got a great deal. The customer service was also very pleasant. I will definitely be back for future automotive needs. Ive been to other places and felt like I been robbed but not here. When I drove my car out of the parking lot I was satisfied with how my car felt. Thanks so much for making me feel safe.
If I could rate this establishment 0 stars I would. I walked into the store waited 20 min for one of the tire men to come and ask if I’d been helped. Then he went to find someone. The next person leisurely walks out with his drink cup and says he will have to go find someone else. Apparently no one works here. Then the person that comes out is rude! I will never ever walk thru the doors of a Pep Boys again! I am not sure how they remain in business.
Gave me good options on tires
Took my car to Pepboys, it seemed to shimmy when I got to a certain speed. I hate being a woman and having to go and have my car looked at by myself, but my husband was out of town, so I went ahead and took it. A friend of mine recommended them, and glad they did. I did not feel taken advantage of like in the past with a few other places. They took me out and personally showed me the problem, so I could see it for myself. Had a knot on one tire, thank God it didn’t blow out with me. Went ahead and got two new tires, balanced ect. Fun staff, they made me feel comfortable and the bathrooms were clean, which was ANOTHER plus! Would recommend to anyone
My girlfriend recently had some work done on the fuel system of her car. A few days after we picked up the car, we noticed that the hood support had been damaged, while it was in the shop. After contacting the manager, he admitted that it happened in the shop, but failed to notify us or fix it. My girlfriend asked if they would repair it, and they said that they would but they would charge her. They would not compromise to fix the issue. Instead the manager began to laugh at the situation when confronted about it. Now, my girlfriend is so upset from the way that she was treated and the lack of compromise that she is crying. I will never recommend this place to anyone ever again. If I could, I would give you negative stars. Thanks a lot Pep Boys.
This branch will lie to you and do nothing to help you when they mess your vehicle up. The front office staff is extremely rude the second you bring up an issue they caused. The employees that caused the issues conveniently no longer work with them. The manager wants to hear the issue from the employees rather than the customer who is standing right in front of them.Never even had the courtesy to step outside and look at the issues. This place is a joke and no one should ever use this branch of pep boys.3.6 stars gives this place way to much credit
I LOVE our PepBoys. They are knowledgeable, quick and the store is well organized. It’s farther than the other auto parts stores but it’s definitely worth the extra time. Nothing but good to say.
Web said it was open got there an it was closed down
Took longer then expected to get my car serviced and done. But they were very friendly and made up for it. I would definitely go back.
Horrible customer service. Made appointment. Went at scheduled time, told to come back hours later because now they don’t have time.Went in to get electrical evaluation because left blinker goes out within 5-10 mins of bulb being changed.Tech advised that wrong bulb was put in, changed the bulb and sent us on our way.As soon as we left, the right blinker was not working. Take it back to store. Now the socket is broken and the tech put it in the opposite side without even telling us. Then told us we now have to pay for a new socket but that’s out of stock. When I explained they should have told us the socket was broken the first time we were there instead of just switching it to the other side, they told us to come back two days later early at 9 am to take another look at it and get refund. When we came, had to wait for an hour because now nobody was available to look at it. Then the manager comes out and just tells us we need to take our car elsewhere. HORRIBLE customer service. Literally all I wanted was my blinker fixed. Ridiculous
This place is awesome and now they are closing my favorite store. Its been a lot of years we spent together. You will be missed!
Excellent business. By far the best guys around and will help any way they can, parts or service side. I buy all of my parts from these guys and always will. They always go out of their way to help me whether its convenient or not and I am very grateful for it so it is only fair to give them my business. Good people. Every bit a 5 star establishment
This place is like family! Justin will take care of you, Rudy will hook you up, Roy is the man to make you happy, Claude will treat you with respect, Ryan.........hes cool! and so many more great guys!I trust them with parts/service and to be competitively priced!Youre in good hands. ----- better than Allstate :)
Poor service and costly.
Fast tire service
Never used the auto care center before this. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. I was surprised! Id go there again.
Bought a pair of tires here about 6 months ago they were decent when I dropped $900 on a set of tires. Every time I come in for rotation or questions the assistant manager is never friendly and acts like I’m a bother! I will never purchase from here again! Apparently the assistant manager doesn’t like his job he’s very unfriendly and gets bothered when he has to do his job!
Great service! Service department technician stayed late to help me with my battery. Very friendly and honest workers. Customer for life.
Made the mistake of going to pep boys after Enterprise recommended them after they gave me a rental with broken windshield wipers. For a 30 second job they told me it would be a 90 minute wait. That was only after I asked him how long it would take. I would skip pep boys and go to firestone next time as the people behind the service counter are not service oriented. Could have told me at the beginning what the time would be and that they needed authorization from Enterprise
This is the best location I have very been to and i rate their customer service excellent compared to any business. Sarah in the tire center did all she could give me all the information I asked for on the phone. She was very efficient in her job making sure things would be ready for me if I came in. I told her of my horrible experiences with other Pep Boys and told her I would be in tonight. She spoke with Roy and when i arrived they were ready for me and not only honored my warranty but provided the best customer service I have seen anywhere while doing everything they could to make up for my previous experiences. I will return to this location.
We went in for a alignment and they told us that it needed all 4 new struts. And insisted that we got them change that day and they had a discount to help us save $100. We said no and took it to another shop and they said everything was fine that it just needed a alignment. Save yourself some time and money and just don’t go to this place. Their out to get people.
Took my truck to these fine folks for an engine light on. Short story is that it took two trips over 5 days to get the trouble fixed. It was frustrating, no lie. But so are most shops you go to these daya. Heres is the good thing though. Roy the service manager backed up his work. He said you have any trouble, bring it back and I will make it right. And he did. Warrantied the labor and added extra parts to make up for my trouble. That makes this a better customer experience. Keeping calm when discussing the repair and having some understanding of whats going on help both sides out. This is not my only repair with these guys and I continue to put trust in their abilities.
Had Eric help me yesterday with some ideas to what rims would look good on one of my cars.Great employee, and very intrested in his customers needs. You couldnt have hired anyone with a better personality! The manager there was also very helpful. So it turns out that we had quite a few things in common regarding the people we hang out with on friday and saturday nights. These employees bring good people to your business.2020 Civic Si-2016 Civic EX~Deric
We had a flat... took tire to them...they were buisy...it was closing time...but they took care of us...I dont know the person name that helped us but he was awsome and friendly and.helpful... I did ask him his nationality, and he sais Idonesian. Well he was an awsome person
Good selection but I have NEVER EVER gotten a mail in rebate back NOT ONCE
Followed sign directions. Sit in service drive as instructed, nobody came to see what i needed even though i made eye contact with several employees. Waited 10 minutes then left.
Took my car in for a simple mount and balance of tires I had bought from pep boys online. Roy the manager told me to expect the vehicle ready by lunch. After 5 pm I called the store to speak with Roy, he wasnt there. I spoke with him the next day. He asked me what my problem was and said for me to be happy I got my car back in the same day.
These guys always manage to take care of me and my vehicles! Sometimes we disagree but they always find a way to make it right/fair. Tim and Sarah are the best, and I appreciate them always being there for my automotive repair needs!
A problem with my daughters car not starting back in January 2018, has NOW turned into $1000.00 +, and 3 trips BACK to the Boys for the same EXACT problem she IS STILL having as of May 2018. On top of the inaccurate testing, inability to diagnose the ACTUAL problem and fix it, she has been told by a service tech that if she doesnt like what he is saying, he dont know what to tell her! Her car has had the EXACT same issue ALL 3 times, and is now being told.....its your alternator, a WEEK after she paid over 400.00 because the service tech determined she needed her crank shaft sensor replaced. We are waiting to hear what THIS charge for service will now be. Stay tuned for an update. In the meantime, if there are any experienced mechanics out there reading this, feel free to comment.**Update. There is a lot more coming, but I have to get a timeline together, and the facts sorted as this has been ongoing now...since December, not Jan. 2018, as I first thought. Anyway, I picked my daughters car from the boys 5-14, around 4pm. The alternator had indeed gone out, mostly due to the crank shaft sensor NOT being diagnosed in Jan. 2018, when the car was at the shop for 4 DAYS. During that visit, they were unable to determine exactly what was wrong, said that they were waiting for a specialist to come take a look at it. this was within about a week AFTER the Dec. 2018 visit where she was told it needed a new battery. I know right??Anyway...the alternator was replaced, free of charge 2 days ago, and NOW the check engine light is ONCE AGAIN back on. Hmmmm...wonder what the problem s THIS time.I should tell you that after researching the symptoms the car was having via Google,(hello?!)...it is, was, and has been the CRANK SHAFT SENSOR all along that has caused every single costly repair. You see, a crank shaft sensor can cause EVERYTHING in your car to GO OUT if not caught early and fixed!! Who knew right?! Thing is, shouldnt a professional mechanic service tech, charging a $90.00 diagnostic fee each time you take the car in, (5) KNOW??!So my daughter has to work and I am now going BACK to see the boys for her. The 2007 Toyota Camry should be awarded frequent flyer miles at this point, right?? Anyway....more to come I am sure.Oh, lest I forget, I DID get a response on part 1 of this saga from someone at an email address, with From The Owner at the bottom, in small, light colored letters. In my next post, I will attempt to put in the exact info, copy and paste, from the site that gives the symptoms, explanation of issues, and fixes to a crank shaft sensor problem.I just want the public to be AWARE that you have to be cautious, and vigilant about the care of your vehicle when it comes to repairs...especially if you are a female. I speak from experience.Update will follow.****AMEN Barry R. Tell it like it is!
Sat there for 10 minutes with several employees walking by. Finally one came close enough for me to wave him down. He would barely listen to me as he was more interested in putting his earbuds in than listening to what I needed. He did say he would get someone for me, but proceeded to walk back to the car he was working on and never got anyone for me. Poor service. Don’t waste your time.
Pep boys usually have the parts you need at fair prices. Also rewards are nice.. Not familiar with their service department..
Mr. Reed is the best Mechanic in the business. The guys at the Pep Boys on Broadway are the best! They will tell you the truth about your vehicle and give you their best estimate. This is the best garage in town!
Wow! 2.7 star business! Not even. Literally never met a really person who took their car to pep boys and had a good experience. I never have, and never would take a vehicle there for service. I do know that their parts service sucks first hand though, theyve literally never had a part I need, and once they figure out they dont have it in stock they just hang up. ANY other parts store is better than pep boys, Id consider walmart before pep boys if they carried parts.
Im rating this for the service manager Roy who helped me on the phone today. After a day of confusion and stress, I feel that he tried his best to be patient, listen, and handled my concerns in a diplomatic way. I also think he was trying to be kind to me, which I appreciate immensely. The technicians work seems good so far and he also did his best to explain his methods to me. They were willing to give my old part to me, which made me trust them a bit more. The staff member, Sara, was very sweet as well throughout the repair and also patient, despite my numerous phone calls. The last comment I will make is for the average person who isnt knowledgable in parts... Double check pricing with a few sources before you order a part. This repair was a great learning experience for me and I feel like Pep Boys namely, Roy, made it right.
Honestly I’ve never had anything but issues here... I’ve came here 3 times now and will no longer continue. First time was to fix my day time running lights in my old car, bought the bulb needed, the next day it stopped working so I brought it back and they told me there’s nothing they could do about it?!?! Okay, I ended up getting a brand new Jeep, about a week ago my headlight went out so I stupidly brought it back here since my husband recommended it. Bought $60 bulbs and they installed them. Well the young boy who did it aimed one of the headlights down too far so I had to bring it back the very next day. As he’s fixing it he tells me that it “slipped” out of his fingers and fell down somewhere??? Ok?? He had to go get another bulb (which I didn’t have to pay for obviously) and then he put that new one in. So now I’m going to have a bulb just hanging out somewhere in my car? I feel like the workers here need more training on how to do certain tasks. I’m just praying that I do not experience another problem with my headlight.
So I was looking for an alternator. Called a few places autozone,OReilly, abc auto even tried a few pick and pull lowest price I found was around 300, but I decided to call pep-boys just to see what their price was. I was greeted by an outstanding employee Eric he got me the part I needed in the price range I was looking for, the part was already pulled, the man had the knowledge and customer service so many people lack. I want to recommend that if anyone is looking for a place to get parts and have someone that knows a little bit about people skills ask for Eric
Usually my go to place for auto parts if I cannot find it next door. However, if I dont need it right now, I will order it online and pick it up in store and the staff will have it ready within an hour still. Staff is pretty friendly and helpful as well.
I purchased four tires from this place and didn’t get the tires I requested. I was told that I can have 3 of the four tires, but I would have to come back a month later, when the fourth one came in. If you tell a customer that you have all four tires, you should honor that, instead I got cheap tires from this place because I was told that’s all y’all had. I also had my shocks replaced, which was not necessary and now I hear noises from my car that I had NEVER heard before, plus the person who changed them scratched the paint off my car. If a person takes the time to take their car in to be serviced, their car should be taken care of, especially since they pay to get it done. This service is not free and I would not recommend pep boys to anyone.
Not sure if the services are usually this long, but Ive been sitting here for over 5 hours now. Desk clerk informed me it would be done in half of the amount of time that its taken so far, and every hour from after the second hour, said it would be done within that hour. Still sitting here waiting to get done. The only reason there is two stars is because the clerk has been updating me. Other than that, I have received no updates or acknowledgement from the workers. One of the worst experiences Ive dealt with.Update: 6 hours for a job that I was told would take 2 and a half. They told me to pay for it saying it was just about done...took 2 more hours to get finished. Managers didnt even care that Id been sitting in the store since the store opened. Worst experience ever, employees dont do anything. People standing in line for over 10 minutes because no one is at the counters.
When weve needed auto service, these people have gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy customers. The parts people are knowledgeable, helpful and will get your parts, if they dont already have what you need.
Staff helped me find the part I needed. Good prices. Installed it myself and its working fine. Great place for parts.
Never buy the tire warranty, they do not honor it, in fact never buy anything from this company. I recommend you drive to the next town if you have to. My family will never use pep boys again!
Made an appointment ahead of time and got in and out quickly, oil change and general inspection. Nice, friendly people.
I was so grateful, my car battery was dying and they changed it for me and have been helpful
I wish I could give them no stars. The mechanics are horrible and customer service is even worse. Never again will I spend a dime here. If you have AC problems Dont Come Here!!!!!! Tim is unreliable.
Why I am giving this Pep Boys a one star, because my sister took her car up there a month ago because it was making a funny noise. Pep Boys told her she needed $900 worth of work done. So she went to Firestone in Tyler for a second opinion and they charge her $10 worth of work that needed to be done (something in her car was loose and needed to be tighten, that was it!) and now her car is working great! WTH Pep Boys you all are very dishonest people and I hope anyone reading my post will go to Firestone in Tyler, do not even think about going to this Pep Boys, SERIOUSLY!!!!
I wish I could give this place no stars!!! They are rude not professional at all!!! They will lie to you and tear up your vehicle!!! Never again will I take anything to them they are a bunch mechanic that don’t have the know knowledge or trained right never ever again will I go to pep boys in Tyler TX!!!!
Worse service ever! Lost my information and blames me for it!
I am slightly concerned with the fact that I asked for a corporate e-mailed address, to speak with someone about a less than professional experience I had at your your Tyler, Tx location. Ive explicitly asked that someone besides the service manager from that location get in touch with me. Ive yet to hear back. The only response Ive received is from the store I had the issue with. I am asking again, that someone contact me. If I felt I could resolve this on the retail level, I would have done so. My next step is the BBB and any other form of social media to express my concerns.
Average auto parts store with really helpful staff. I have purchased tires, batteries and other parts there. The quality is reasonable and the prices are good (not great).
Order tires online should be mounted at the local store. It took them 3 hours to mount and balance 4 tires. Tires were not balanced correctly so came back a few weeks later and they said they were too busy to get me in today. What customer service!
Great store! Lots of cool stuff for your car and truck!
My husband took his Jeep in today to get the wheel bearing done. He had called yesterday to set it up. They quoted him a very reasonable price for labor, we thought the quote for parts and labor was a little steep but he went a head and told them we wanted to get it done. He dropped it off this morning and they called him before noon to tell him they all wanted to do the brakes and rotors which is something he can easily do himself and refused to do the wheel bearing unless they could also do those things. That’s just such bad business. Our other car is broke down so this is our only running vehicle right now and we needed it fixed. We have 4 kids that we can’t safely haul right now. Now he’s gotta find another shop to do it and we both have to continue to struggle to find a way to get to work and get our kids to and from where they need to be. Drs, therapists, school, etc..
Decent service, customer service relations among the sale associates could use improvement greatly.
Every time I make an appointment to get my tires rotated they say they are short handed and cant get to me. Im so fed up with it Ill either do it myself or pay someone else to. I will never buy tires from them again.
Great prices on name-brand tires. Service was great.
Awesome place and service!! Loved my tires!!
I had an appointment for specific work. 1st job of day, gave them 1.5 hrs, came back, all that they did was look for everything else that they could quote me, all under the name of Safety Inspection. They gave me a quote to do work that would have been $500 for 3 hours of labor... and they never did the work that I had the appointment for. I sent in an email, they replied asking me to come in... will never happen. A lot of these folks should be fired... or let stay at home for a month without pay, but looks like problem goes much higher than the few there. Zero stars.
Only giving it one star because I have to. Was told they would be able to put a lift kit on my husbands Jeep for a reasonable price, so I made an appointment. Take it in, and after an entire day, they call to say that they cant do what he wants because the guy who does that kind of stuff wont be in until Tuesday. And we were told they would have it done by Monday. They told me that they didnt realize what it was that we wanted and that it was going cost much more than originally quoted. They didnt even look at the car until the morning after we took it in. Very unhappy how the whole situation was handled. Wont be going back. EVER.
Really great. Service is outstanding and some of the best prices in town
Nice place had my truck overhaul there when new brakes tires hoses
Id give them NO stars if I could. I took my car to Pep Boys because I needed brake pads.. Long list later they told me I needed like 8 other things done. I did not get any work done picked my car up and took it back to my Trusty Car Repair Davids Auto in Tyler TX. After he checked everything on their List 90% of that list was FALSE none of that needed to be done. SHAME ON you men at the service center, I dont know how yall sleep at night. People work hard for their money and you are robbing them blind. DO NOT take your car here for service repair.
One of the sales people helped me with new rubber pads for my clutch petal . Even though the product was less than $5 he offered to install it to make sure it would fit. (Didnt have one specifically for a Dodge). I highly recommend this location.
These guys are great. They really work hard for you and go above and beyond to help. Highly recommended.
Dont show up without an appointment..I got there at 11:00 am to have AC system checked and was there until 3:45pm only to be told my compressor is shot..paid 60.00 plus dollars, for my whole day being wasted. Ryan gave me a grand total of 1400.00 for AC repair SMH..NEVER AGAIN
The most unprofessional people I have did business with. Had my vehicle for 2days and called me and told me there were no issues. I then go to pick my vehicle up and I get the keys and check it and the same issues are happening. My ac isnt blowing cool and my radiator fans are not wo. To be honest I do not think they even checked it out. Sorry sorry sorry business. They told me when the mechanic was working on it was working.
Went to Tyler store for shocks for my truck. I had shopped their website for shock pricing and installation pricing. After adding the $35 dollar fee that their website says they will add for shop parts, the price should have been abou $227 plus tax. I told the assistant service manager what I wanted. He quoted me $657. He then told me the shocks that I wanted would not fit my truck. I told him that his website and Monroe shocks website said that they did. He then said that I needed gas shocks. I told him that the shocks that I wanted are gas schocks. The man just keeps lying. I went online with pep boys chat and asked if their website was lying or if their employee was lying. They said the website was correct and the employee wrong. Do not shop at this store. Run away and stay away.
