One morning, I find that my garage door won’t open. Our cars are stuck inside the garage. OGD answered my call at 6:10am and a technician, Zachary, arrived that morning to fix. The fix required a part he had to order but he made sure to open garage door to get our cars out. Today he returned to complete the job and did a very good job. Thanks for the speedy response and quality work.

They advised me that they were sending Zachery Rainer to do the repair work. Zachery was very courteous and explained what had happened and how my garage door actually worked. Very impressed with OGD-Overhead Garage Door! I left a request online at 8:30am to be contacted about a residential repair. ( 2020 couldn’t leave without one last bug.) Within 30 minutes, received a phone call from Riley. I was worried because it was New Year’s Eve and I knew a lot of other businesses were already closed for the holiday. Riley was very helpful and got me on the schedule. Hallelujah!! I was given a repair time of 12 PM to 2 PM and to wait for a text/call. At 12 noon I received a text that my technician Greg was on his way. Wow!! Greg arrived quick! Greg was very helpful, friendly and courteous. He did the job very quickly too! After a week of snowmaggedon I thought I could finally get out and go grocery shopping. Opened the garage door, heard a strange noise backed my car out and tried to close my garage door. No luck. It had popped off it’s rails. I called the original installer.After being told it would be 2-3 days before a repair could be made, leaving my home wide open, I called you guys.I was greeted by only positive comments and upbeat outlooks. Jacob was fantastic! We had 2 broken springs that appeared to be somewhat of a simple fix. However, the door proved to be quite a challenge and had him working a lot later than what he or I expected. Scammers. Service tech that responded was great but the companys quote was 5 times that of the other companies that quoted the repair and OGD would not quote unless I paid the $99 service fee. Quoted almost $900 to replace 1 spring on a 10x10 shop door. I do not recommend this company to any home owner.

Called one day, they came out the next. Both techs were nice and polite, our garage door is working just fine now! I would’ve given 5 stars, but I wasn’t able to use the $50 coupon I found online, because the tech said I found it too late. So, be sure and look on their website for coupons, and tell them you have one beforehand, I guess when you make the appointment.But would recommend OGD, and would use them again.

This company doesnt deserve even one star. I called to get my door cables restrung. Their guy came out (late of course) for 30 minutes, charged my credit card $342 for some BS Crush Package stating that he leveled, lubricated, adjusted cables, put rollers back. He then tried to tell me my door would need a $700 spring since it was so heavy. BS, what he did not know is that I have a security cam in my garage. I played it back and all he did was restring one cable. He even used my ladder. When we disputed the amount of the charge the OGD rep basically told us to get F....ked, but when he learned that we had it all on video they gave up and refunded all but the normal service charge. Of course I had to threaten the deceptive trade lawsuit on them which they knew that I already drafted was prepared to file. Everyone should have security cams.PSDo not use this company.

They were able to make an emergency visit, at no extra charge, all the way in Canton. The rep was polite and patient and ultimately finished the job quickly for a fair price. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you!

My garage door crapped out yesterday afternoon. Once my husband got home and determined it wasnt something he could fix, we called OGD. It was late in the evening when I called. The answering service answered right away. I explained my issues. The same night I received a call to get a service appt scheduled for the next day (today). I needed to re-program my keypad and garage door opener, my technician was very knowledgeable and re-programmed everything in 15-20 minutes, if that and he offered to service my springs, motor and wheels.

My garage door broke at 7:30 this morning and we needed a fix quick. Every place I have tried didn’t have anyone available until tomorrow or next week. This wasn’t good enough since the door was stuck halfway up. I called Overhead Garage Doors and there was someone at my house fixing the door before 9:30. The technician was very knowledgeable and helpful and had my door fixed and working within 30 mins. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend them to anyone.

Someone was supposed to come Friday morning to look at my garage and give me an estimate no one ever showed up. I got a message that someone would come Saturday and no one ever did. I was out of town working when I got a message on Monday that someone actually came and was at my house. I sent a message back asking for ownership to please call me and haven’t heard anything. When you get treated like this by companies fortunate enough to be doing so well financially it actually makes you sad and a little depressed in these hard times

I had my tension spring for my garage door break and I called overhead garage door that night they had me scheduled by the next morning and when the technician got out there he was very friendly did a great job and very fast he had my garage door back up and running and a little over 30 minutes I was very pleased with the service and I will recommend them!

By far the best service I have received in a long time. I want to thank your technician for repairing my garage he really eased my problems.

This company is nothing but bad service and a complete rip off. I contacted them on 4-21 to have a broke cable fixed and door put back on track. The guy showed up and told me it would need both cables and spring replaced. I paid $456.09 for this and thought it was repaired, I was wrong. After opening and closing the door twice the door came back off track. I called the company back out to fix it properly and this time after waiting a few days the guy comes out and says the entire door will need to be replaced and would cost over $1,000. At this point the company now has the customer trapped because they have already spent the money now they can charge more to fix it properly instead of giving the customer a chance to get quotes from other companies. The tech calls to make sure he can take the $456 off of the final bill, like this should even be a question. Finally says yes they can do that and the door will be replaced on Thursday (4-30) or Friday (5-1), and I’d need to pay another $91.41 so they can order the door. I am now out $547.50, and the door is in worse shape that it was before this company worked on it, at least how it was broke before it was in the closed position and now it is stuck wide open. Well its now Friday 5-1 and at 3pm I call them to see where they are, I’ve waited around for 2 days to get this door fixed, and the guy tells me “well that door won’t be in till the middle of next week, and I don’t know why they would tell you it would be done this soon.” He also tells me his company is not a rip off and always provides the best customer service but yet I have now been screwed over by this company twice in less than 7 days. He also proceeds to tell me that I’m just stuck how it is or I can wait for a week or so for a refund. Need the refund to pay another company, but no I’m just stuck here with a broke door and out over $500. I have called their main office and have heard nothing from them. This door needs to be fixed now!!!

I accidentally left my 8’ ladder under my garage door. I knew I was in over my head when I tried to fix the door myself. I called OGD and they were at my home in under 30 minutes (Monday). The technician knew exactly what needed to be done. He gave me an estimate and had the garage door fixed in 45 minutes. Very nice, professional technician.

Horrible experience! Ordered doors and when they came to install the techs didn’t have the correct materials. Tech said “I’m running to the shop to get angle iron” that was almost 3 weeks ago. We I have one door installed (crooked) and a half a door on the other side. We made numerous calls and techs have failed to show up 3 times now. Use another company and save yourself some serious heartburn.
