This is by far the worst customer service I’ve experienced since moving to East Texas. I would first like to say that the emergency technician and one of the people that they had answering the phones were polite, but that’s where it ended. The emergency tech came out on a Sunday pretty quickly after we called and assessed the damage to our garage and did measurements for the new door we would need. He said we would get a phone call Monday from their “best” salesman Nick to finish the garage door transaction and to schedule installation. By noon Monday we hadn’t heard anything and so I called to make sure we still had a salesman. The phone was answered quickly and rudely and I could not even understand what the girl was saying before she put me on hold. I was then assured that we would get a call but it would be Tuesday late morning or early afternoon. Once again Tuesday we called and were told we were never given a time that we would receive a call from Nick but it would happen. Wednesday rolled around and yet again no communication. Thursday we finally received a text from Nick with no information other than he would need to get measurements… the measurements that were already gotten last Sunday. I went out to remeasure myself knowing that we would be waiting for these people forever if it wasn’t done ourselves. No more communication till we again attempted to communicate on Friday. We were told one in stock and we would get a call Monday telling us when the installation would take place. We were told installation would be done Tuesday late morning/ early afternoon. My husband and I waited at home all day Tuesday on his only day off for the week till 5pm when I called to ask where they were, after trying to communicate with Nick all day to figure out what was going on. He told us he was not installation and had no idea. Surprise, installation claims we were not home when they came out and that they would call us in 3-4 days to reschedule. This is when we officially gave up on this company. Stay away. Absolutely horrific service.

Set an appointment to meet at my warehouse at 9:00 am. After waiting 45 minutes I called. I was told the salesman was tied up at a different job and would get to me around 10:30, as if I was going to wait an additional 45 minutes. Professionalism requires punctuality - there are too many other choices in Tyler for garage door service.

I have never used this company and I dont even live in Texas, BUT, I rate them five stars because they continued to provide employment and healthcare to one of their employees for 7 months when she was diagnosed with cancer. Thats the kind of company I want to hire. **To the owners: I hope its okay that I posted this publicly, and if not, I will take it down, but Im just so grateful for what you did and think people should know!

Great service by John Ferrel yesterday! He was courteous and efficient and he fixed my garage door and keypad with great attention to detail.

The quality of the work is fine and so is the response time, however, the way the office communicates with each other is very out dated. When I call, they always have to ask someone else about the status or find the right person. They need to loose the paper trail and get scheduling and invoice software and get into the 21st century.

Jeremy came out to repair something that was a quick fix. He then proceeded to fix several other small issues with the garage door. Very knowledgeable. He worked the whole time with my kids trailing behind him, talking nonstop. Our garage works so much better now! Great customer service!

This a.m. I had an issue with m garage door and called this company. The little girl who answered was unprofessional at the least...seemed frustrated that I could not diagnose my problem with the door. I simply told her what happened- the door came down on the trunk of my car and was now disconnected- would not move as it had become detached at the top- I saw the screws on floor.... I asked if someone was available to take a look at it and if so what was the latest time since I was at work. She told me her technicians were not going thatto wait around for me- once they finished their tickets they were going home. She said she didnt understand what I needed/wanted-did I need a sales person or did I need to be charged a service fee for a repair person to come out- she just didnt understand what I wanted. I apologized for calling- told her Id obviously made a mistake by calling her company. Wished her I good day and told her to be safe. See as a customer, a non-expert, I do not know if the door can be repaired or if it will have to replaced. As someone with one of the highest degrees in the land and who speaks the Kings English, the communication issue is not mine. BTW Dan from Dans Garage Door service is going to my house to look at the door on the detached garage. Thanks Dan for, well, being professional and treating people with courtesy and respect...were all stressed during this very uncertain time!

Very dangerous drivers. You would think that they would want to respect other drivers, with name on their truck

Experienced and knowledgeable on replacing batteries that need special attention. They can also sauter wires back to circuit board. Very nice employees.Highly recommend. Call if you need directions. They are located on Anthony Dr. off Old Jacksonville Hwy.

Couldnt ask for a better job. Jason came out and gave me a quote which I was happy with. Great guy. Professional. They had to order the door because of some changes I wanted. The guys that came out to do the install were very polite and professional. Their attention to detail was impressive and when they were finished they made sure the area was very clean. Hopefully I wont be needing a new door for quite some time but I will definitely recommend them.

I called Longview Overhead Doors and they had a team out here with in the hour. James and Terry came out and repaired my crunched door. They were quick, and I was surprised how good of a job they did. the price was also better than I would have thought. Im very pleased with the job they did. They also gave me a quote for a new garage door and that was not as expensive as I thought it would be. Ill be a return customer next issue I have or to purchase a new door in the future. The next door I buy will definitely come from them.*UPDATE: Tim is the man! We have a very expensive/rare door that got knocked out during a lightning storm. The new part arrived (which was updated and needed modification to work) and after a little bit of time with technical assistance, he had the door up and running better than before. He even cleaned up the poor workmanship of the original company who installed the door. Hands down the best door company in Tyler

Technician came out and measured for a new garage door. When we called about it couldnt get updated on stays from company just the technician. They finally called to install it and after disconnecting garage door opener noticed they had wrong size. Said it would be a few weeks before the right one came in but that I could manual close the garage door until the. And they were just leaving parts in floor. I told them they had to connect everything back up before leaving so I could fully use te garage door and openers. Installers let me know they were done and leaving after connecting it back up. Didnt check work till I was ready to leave and now my old garage door doesnt work. Will never use them and not recommend installers. Now I am stuck trying to figure out how they messed it up and get it working again.

Called for schedule to repair garage door, my husband has brain damage, so he can’t help with any repairs. The lady answering my call was very helpful and friendly. Though none really know when a person whom is willing to give a review enters the door. The Original Overhead Doors in Tyler Texas did not either. From intitial contact by phone to the part in hand checkout at the end. These people are professionals, know their product and care for the customers needs. With my project today, they were able to provide an acceptable part to repair a 15 year old obselete garage door. I am a do it your self kinda guy and if I can imagine the fix, I can do it. And The Original Overhead Doors of Tyler Texas helped me realize this project as done! Thank You.

The door was making noise for quite a while and the cables were fraying. Overhead Door came out and fixed it in less than an hour and for much cheaper $ than I was expecting.

My mom and dad have been using this company for 30 plus years for their garage door needs. This was around spring break time and guy was unavailable and was told after break would be calling us for a appointment to come out. Three weeks after break we called because we had not heard anything and decided to call them back. We were told to leave another message and my dad had already found another company which has already installed our new door and came all the way from Athens Tx and the message was you just lost a customer.

We found a programmable key chain remote to pair with our Garage door.
