No one speaks when you enter. You have a mad guard dog security at the door that looks you up and down as you walk in. You are randomly followed by employees as you go through the over crowded isles. I stopped shopping here and I drive the extra miles to go to a place where Im valued as a customer and get greeted by staff who appreciate your business. Zero customer service. Its a convenient location to my residence but not so convenient for me not to be valued. BTW, its not the owners, its their staff!!

I just tried to come to the beauty supply but it was two guys holding up the door way so I couldn’t get in. They were arguing then one guy goes in his backpack trying to pull something out while trying to go back after the guy inside the store! Security no where around and they literally started at one another soo I got back in my car and had to leave because I did not feel safe! I attempted to call the store to see if sexier could come out to help but no one answered!! Y’all got to do better! People should feel safe to come in the store

This store has a wide selection of items for men, women and children. When I need a beauty product or my husband needs a grooming product we can usually find it here. It eliminates driving from store to store just to find products suitable for African Americans. To put the icing on the cake, the store owner gave me a pack of cleansing wipes for my face for free, on one visit to the store! I was looking to buy one to remove my makeup it was right on time. I am a very satisfied customer!

Close at 9 but really 85. If i get there i expect to get in at 847. They actually close earlier.

I couldnt find the things I went looking for, Black natural hair products, specific brands of detangler brushes and hair color wax. The majority of the products were all from the same brand, Annies. That being said, the store was well stocked with a wide variety of beauty supplies, just not the ones I went there for.

On Friday, August 28th I had gone to this store because they almost always have what Im looking for, and they did! Even gave me a discount when I inquired about one for the purchases I was making. I left there feeling pretty good even after spending over $100. Fast forward to Monday, August 31st, my teenage daughter goes in to purchase weave glue, but was sold the wrong thing, she was sold lace front wig glue..smh I was trying to make her be more independent by going inside making this purchase..epic fail...Receipt says no refunds, exchanges with receipt as long as within 10 days. We go to make the exchange and was told by the POLICEMAN at the door, they arent going to take it back! Go inside explain to the African American cashier that my daughter was given the wrong glue(glue is behind counter, so yeah they gave it to her) and we need to exchange. She says no exchanges due to COVID-19, I point to this big sign over the register that matches the exact same information on my receipt in regards to refunds/exchanges. She shows me this sign covered up by another sign on the register that says no refunds/exchanges due to COVID-19....BUT THIS HUGE SIGN HANGING OVER THE REGISTER SAYS OTHERWISE...COVID-19 HAS BEEN HERE SINCE MARCH, WHY STILL HAVE THAT BIG SIGN honoring refunds/exchanges, why not change it to match the small signage youre so eager to point to!!! I still bought the glue and VOWED TO NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE EVER AGAIN AFTER MAYBE 6 OR 7 YEARS OF BIZ...U LOST A CUSTOMER OVER SOME WEAVE GLUE!!! NOT OPENED, STILL IN ORIGINAL BOX!

I really wish it was another beauty supply store closer because I really hate going to this one . I never had a good experience at this location . In the middle of my purchase the cashier stop to answer her personal phone and carried on a full conversation not work related and delayed my transaction process. On top of that she wasn’t very nice . Ugh management what’s wrong . Y’all store on Old National is way more professional and the people are nicer and helpful. I just don’t be wanting to drive all the way over there when this store is right here.

It was a little busy when I went and you had some customers now happy but man....I love the customer service here no matter how busy to disorganized it is (shipment came in so boxes were everywhere). Even on previous visits....the customer service is awesome!!! Good prices and good selection of anything.

Always a mess. Isles are too close together and there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to how products are placed. Like why is all the hair dye tools on the entire opposite side of the store from the dye? Plus, the small space makes it impossible to social distance and their security guard is creepy...always staring and standing way too close to people. Staff is unhelpful and not the friendliest. I try to avoid this place unless for an emergency purchase when I cannot get out to Sallys.

The most UNPROFESSIONAL beauty supply store I have ever been in. I went in and brought a $15 wig, was going to pay more but choose not to because of the ignorance I witnessed with the EMPLOYEES. I NEVER ever buy color 1b, always buy 1 black. The package says it was a number 1 got it home and in the light becaof course the store lighting is not good at all. It was a #1b(brown). I took it back not to refund it but to get the color the package says it was SUPPOSED to be. Only to told by the ignorant red head chick that it wasnt brown and that she couldnt resale it. I said all I want it the correct color that the package says its supposed to be. She shows someone else behind the counter that SHE SAID ITS NOT BLACK as I stated the lighting in the store is poor of course it looks black. Well I cant resale or do anything with it. I told her keep it and walked out the door. Granted I just threw $15 away,. Whats so messed up about this, is how rude and unprofessional they are. I will NEVER step foot in this place of business again.

My 1st stop when I need products for my natural hair. Their prices are competitive, and just like everywhere else, sometimes what you need is on sale and other times its over-priced. When that happens, I sacrifice and drive to a different chain store. Love the staff, theyre always nice and very helpful whenever I go in. Going today because I need a good moisturizer for my hair. It says online that they carry the one I was recommended. So Im stopping by today to see.

Horrible store. Horrible customer service. Horrible employees. The aisles are extremely overcrowded. You have to step over everything. The security watches you and follows you on every aisle assuming youre going to steal. They dont have a good selection of current products. Much of their products are very old and overpriced. Definitely not a good place to get hair. I do not recommend this place at all.

I once loved this place, had everything I wanted. Was very disappointed in this store not having what I always purchase.

Been in here twice.First time they asked if I needed to pick out weave. As she was helping me, I told her nothing too expensive but nothing cheap and 100% human hair. The hair was HORRIBLESecond time I called the store at 8:27 and a lady informed me that they close at 9. I asked if it was possible for her to have a wide tooth comb and 3 packs of hard hair rods medium size and I will come inside and pay for it. I got there at 8:58 and the doors were locked. I said I spoke on the phone with someone and she has some stuff waiting for me to pay for. She said you got here too late and register is closed. I said it 2 minutes to 9, you dont close down 2 minutes early and knowing a customer was coming to pay for something. She has HORRIBLE customer service.If you do not know anything about hair or if you have have horrible customer service you do not need to be working there.I DO NOT recommend this beauty supply.

Close to my home, mgt is rude, tried to return an item (WITH RECEIPT AND TAGS ATTACHED). Mgr claimed it smelled like smoke, interesting considering I DONT SMOKE!!!!! STRAIGHT TRIFLIN!

I read reviews before I went. It is very overwhelming, not enough room to shop. There were no associates on the floor to help. When I asked for items I was pointed in the direction. Also, Im not certain that this is a black owned store, as previously stated.

Its pretty much like every other beauty supply store. good prices for jewlerry and other little small trinkets. its pretty crowded, and the aisles are very close together so theres not much breathing room. 2 people cant look at the same aisle at the same time.

To be from out of town. They made me feel right at home. Products were different than what Im use to but overall great experience.

Totally unimpressed with this beauty supply. They had an adequate stock of most items and the employees were friendly, but the prices were highly inflated (eco styler gel for $7? Cheap lip gloss for $5?). If you need something quickly this store would be okay but I highly recommend that you choose another store in the area (preferably one with good pricing options).

I had an absolute horrible experience visiting this store. I came in looking for help to find hair to do a chrochet style. I wanted to find hair that looked like my hair which is curly and wavy. No one in the store knew anything about hair or could find something that would work for me. After spending almost an hour in the store I stumbled upon some human hair which was my hair texture. I asked two ladies can this hair be used as chrochet hair. Both said yes. I asked the cashier if this hair is not what I need can I bring it back before I swiped my card. She said yes, as long as it is not open or damaged. I said ok great. This was $260 worth of hair!!! I brought the hair to my beautician the same day, she said they gave you micro braiding hair. She couldn’t use the hair for the style I wanted. I went back to the hair store, told them they gave me the wrong hair. I want to return it, they said they don’t do refunds. I said I was just here a couple of hours ago. Non of the hair was opened. The lady told me I could return it. They told me No. We can only exchange it. They did not care if they just saw me they weren’t taking it back! Do not go here! Absolutely immoral terrible business! Very unprofessional and the store has no organization! I will never go back!

You can barely walk down the isle, with the type of money all these black queens spend in there they should consider expanding. They are becoming very wealthy due to the sisters.

Expected to pay one price & when arriving at the cash register, it was a different price & they would not honor it, even though it was their mistake. Just know the price you are looking at might not be the real price. Very tricky and dishonest business practices. BEWARE!!!!

I bought a 3.99 universal pik for a blow dryer at 5:06 pm. I got it home, opened it up and realized it was broke. Arrives back in the store at 5:26 to exchanged and Mr. Peters told me that I cant exchange it I was only gone 20 mins. He told that I broke it. What happen to the customer is always right. I will never shop at the store again. They have bad customer service.

They have nearly everything you are looking for their primary clientele are African American shoppers whom they are constantly watching as they shop. They have sale prices on items and items still ring up at the regular price and theyre policy is no refunds or credits.

Although this store has a great selection of hair, it Is JUNKY and overcrowded with stuff in the aisles, ladders in the aisles, merchandise in the aisles such a fire hazard!

I have encountered some very rude employees working in the wig area the few times I have visited. They were very unhelpful. Today I went in to try on a wig and the girl in the back was very nasty and unprofessional. I wont be back. I advice you all to take your money to a place that appreciate your business and that know gow to treat customers. I found the same wigs i tried on and was looking at online for way less then the ones in the store... $70 wig for $30 online. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

Its convenient to my house however the store itself is too over stuffed with items that arent selling, old wigs, wig displays that have sold out, its a little too messy in there.

The worst hair Ive ever had! Most of the human hair is yaki (pay attention texture). I bought some Indi Remy witch is normally good hair and is suppose to be 100% Human hair and noticed when I opened the pack that it said Natural Yaki the hair is horrible and I $132 for one pack... Total rip off and its happened with other brands also
