Dropped my device off for a screen repair at 11am. I was told the service would take 2-4hrs and they were finished in 3. I picked up my device the next day good as new.I wish I could call or check in with better updates than done or not done. I waited for two hours before giving up and heading home, only to get a call that they were finished just as I got home. I could have made a quicker and better decision if they communicated better with their customers, but to their credit nothing they told me was false or misleading.
Associates were very friendly and helpful. My phone was pretty jacked up and they fixed it for a price under what was originally quoted. As far as repair quality, everything seems good, looks clean. Time will tell
I was given a repair time quote of 2-4 hours. I called just before store closing, about 5 &1/2 hours later, and was told that work had not started on the repair.I called the next day and was told that the repair was completed. I did not receive any text updates other that that I had left the phone for repair.The two people who helped me acted liked they were not very happy to be at work, both were quiet, very soft spoken (granted they were standing behind a plexiglass barrier) and withdrawn.So far the repair is working, however its only been 24 hours since I picked up the phone.

My daughters back camera stopped working on her phone. We drove for an hour to get there since this place covers the warranty on her phone. The store opened half an hour late at 10:30 (we had a 10am appt) and were told it would take 2-4 hours to repair. When we called after 2 hours to check the status, Norma told us that wed just barely dropped it off, Hun. We told her we were in the parking lot since wed driven a long way and she said, oh lots of people do that; youre not unique. She could have said the phone wasnt ready yet and shed call us when it was ~ no need to be snarky.Norma called back 5 min later to tell us there was moisture in the phone when she opened it so the warranty was void. When we said it hadnt been in/near water, she told us that she couldnt verify that since she hadnt been with us the whole time wed had the phone. When we hung up, my daughter said that we couldnt verify she didnt have a squirt bottle when she opened the phone b/c we hadnt been w/ her the whole time shed had the phone. Again, no need for her to be rude.When we finally got the phone back, there were no instructions about how to download the backup data and they stopped responding to texts.The customer service here is completely subpar. The whole experience was very disappointing.
The staff here lack customer service. I went in there on a Sunday. They was only one customer waiting. They were no one at the front desk. All i could hear were people just casually conversing at the back. One girl peeped and went back even after msking eye contact with me without even acknowledging my presence. I sat there for about 20 minutes without anyone even checking on me and what service i needed..POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. The manager needs to retrain the Staff. Very disappointed. I had to leave
Brought in an iPad for a screen repair. Was told 3-4 business days. Its been 3 weeks, yes, 3 weeks, and I still have no idea when I will get it back or what they have or havent done to it. The intake seems nice and professional. You will get a text message promising regular updates, but nothing. Texts back to that # will be completely ignored. Ive called periodically and been told different stories - its taking longer because its a large screen, were waiting for a part - but the details seem to reside with a tech who is always at lunch. Ive been promised multiple callbacks, but havent received a one. Maybe if they make this right, I will update and amend this, but at this point I recommend to stay away!

After waiting for 15 minutes while she (the rep at the front desk) was helping the previous customer (with whom she was great), my turn came. I was hoping for an easy walkin-walkout as I had filed the claim, I had the claim ID and the email asking me to go the store. Everything to me was very clear and straightforward. I was then asked how she could help me and if I had a case/claim submitted. I then said yes and trying to share all the information with her. I spelled out my name for her. She was being rude and sarcastic while she told me that I didnt have an appointment or a case ID associated with my name (apparently I didnt have a case ID even though I was trying to share it). I had all the information that she wanted but she still kept telling me that I didnt, without letting me finish. I was shocked as I didnt understand her behavior.She rudely then asked me to reach out either to Asurion or submit my claim correctly. Because I was disrespected and made to second guess if I did indeed submit my claim, I walked out of the store and reached out to Asurion. They asked me to go to the store. To confirm again with the store (and save myself from the disrespectful attitude of the rep at the front desk), I called in to check and was told by another representative at the store that there indeed was a claim on my name (LoL) and I was advised to spell my name out for clarity. By the way, I did spell out my name at the store and also during the phone call. A 40 mile round trip and 40 minutes of waste of time on a Sunday afternoon. I told the rep on the phone about what had happened when I visited the store. Her suggestion for my complaint - nothing much I can do now that you have made the trip. Come back when you can. Like, right, I would come to get my phone repaired at your store again! No thanks! I wish ibreakifix has a complaint handling team. Well, again its a franchise store and I do not believe the owner would do anything about it.I am surprised they have a rating of 4.2/5. But, reading the negative experiences here that were quite similar to mine. Its possible it could be the same person. They need a re-training session ASAP.So, this review is for those who have an Asurion insurance and have to get it serviced here. Take my experience (and I have read similar ones here), avoid this store. Dont make your day worse!Looking forward to the owners copy-paste response.
Superb service. Jorge was just great. He initially told me to come back in around 3 to 4 hours. I did drive a long way to the store so he told me since I came in early in the day he would expedite my case and just repaired my cracked screen in an 1 hour. Highly recommended.

Dear (store manager),Today at 10:00AM I walked in to ubreakifix and I was greeted by a young woman. I said to her that I spoke to an “Indian Gentleman” the other day and this triggered her. She went off on me for about 3 minutes saying that my statement was extremely offensive and she never wanted to hear anyone say anything like that ever again. At first I attempted to defend myself but then I realized that anything I said would have just made it worse. So I stood quietly and let her berate me contemplating if I should stay or simply walk out the store, never return, and take my business elsewhere.I am sorry, but referring to someone based on their country of origin is not offensive nor was it meant to be offensive. Some background, I lived in Russia for six years. While I lived there I was referred to as the “American Pilot”. Was I offended by this statement? No I was not. If someone finds this reference offensive ultimately it is their problem, not mine. This is the real world. Not a liberal arts college campus with a “safe space”.Number two, I think we forgot that the customer is always right. Well, maybe not always right, but the customer should always leave the business with a smile on his or her face. Not angry, humiliated, berated, and wondering if they ever want to return, and write a nasty review on: Yelp, Google, etc….So where to go from where. As the chief flight instructor of my flight school I would have no problem terminating someone and putting a life time ban on the individual that treated a paying customer they way I was treated. I had to drive a distance to get to the store, and told them I would appreciate it if they could try to expedite the repair so I could just wait rather than drive home and return later. Although it still took a couple of hours to replace my cracked screen, I feel like they made the effort to complete the work quickly for me.Very professional all the way around.

Theyre good at fixing things but the communication is poor, requiring significant follow up, and they usually over promise and under deliver when it comes to their timeline. It is a Google warranty repair place, which is the only reason we use it.
I appreciate the way I was treated and the advice I was given. I would go back to them again.

No muss, no fuss, just actual facts, repairs that resulted in return of Pixel 4XL to service, performing like new, no loss of data and under Google warranty, no cost to me. On everything,I was skeptical at first seeing my shattered screen, but now it looks like I bought a new galaxy s20. They quoted me a good priced, called me to coordinate and never charged me anything extra other than taxes. This place is honest and will always have my business.
Our ATT phone plan uses uBreakiFix for our insurance coverage on our phones. I was a bit skeptical, but was super pleased by their work! Took in a Samsung Note 9 with cracked screen. They fixed it in about 4 hours (diagnostic alone takes 1.5 hrs after all put back together). Much better than waiting a week or more through other resources! They were very professional and showed new phone skin prior to installation and clearly explained the entire process. It was very easy process, and the desk person was super! I highly recommend, and I am confident in my coverage by ATT and Asurion!

I dropped my phone off before 1:00 p.m. and I specifically asked AGAIN if my phone would be ready the same day because I had to drive from across the bridge since this is the only store on my phone insurance and they told me yes it would for sure be done today. Then I get here at 5:00pm, 4 hours later super excited to have a fixed front screen this is also right before theyre going to close and they tell me that not only is my phone not ready also that they havent even started on it and that I could come back tomorrow morning for it. I explained to the associate that I specifically asked when I came in and when I had called BEFORE even leaving my house if it would be done because if not I would just go another day as Im not from the area at all and I would have to be driven 45 minutes to get there. I was just told that it was very busy today and theyre very sorry about essentially lying to me. It upsets me more of the fact that I was in an accident cannot drive anymore and have to have someone drive me everywhere now and I not only wasted their gas and toll which I can pay for but I felt very bad that I cant do anything about basically wasting their entire day and them waiting those 4 and something hours with me for the phone to not be fixed.
Dropped off a Pixel 3XL yesterday that wouldnt turn on. They were quick and understanding. They answered questions that werent really their specialty and I am very grateful. Especially to Norma, who called with bad news but kept me in great spirits. After dealing with customer services over this phone issue it was Norma who broke the mold and comforted me over my loss of life (phone). Plus a free diagnostic doesnt hurt. Will definitely recommend.

It was a good experience. The only issue I had was told it would take 2 hrs but it was 3.5 hrs. Thats not a problem except I was stuck at the center waiting as I was driven there. Other than that, very friendly and helpful.

I cracked my camera glass cover they told me I had to replace the whole back which I didnt mind then I came back 2 hours later to get my phone the guy came up to me and said you used to charge your phone wirelessly right when nothing was wrong with my phone besides just the cracked glass I told him nothing was wrong with it before I came in besides the glass and it was not getting cell service too turns out they forgot to plug back in my antenna for my cell phone and my USB type c plug Im very not happy with the service and how he handled it and didnt even say sorry or nothing and on top of everything they told me to factory reset my phone which didnt help
Signed up for cracked screen repair using the Samsung website. Call the store to confirm my appointment and they were very rude and did not accept the appointment terms as set by the Samsung official website. Very disappointing and dishonest business practice

I KNOW THIS REVIEW IS LONG, BUT HE EARNED IT. 5 stars just isnt enough stars for this place.I give them 12. I knew I came to the right place the day I called 2 days ago. I felt comfortable with the gentleman in the first 3 minutes of our call. I live 4 hours round trip from this place. I have two businesses and cant be without my phone for too long. I broke one of the camera lenses on my new Samsung galaxy 21. I called Samsung and they told me I would need to send them my phone to replace one of the glass lenses. That was not an option. Im a photographer and use my new phone in places I dont want to bring my gear. I asked them if there were any other options to get my phone fixed. They spent a little time trying to find a authorized repair center. The lady finally said there is a place in Union City that has a great reputation. When I called the gentleman, I wish I knew how to spell his name, spoke with me, he knew how important my camera was he also knew how important it was for me to not be without my phone. I dont trust any place to have my phone but I could tell I could trust him. I made an appointment to drive up and drop it off for what I thought might be 3 hours. When I finally met him I told him I really needed my phone back as soon as possible. So I left and stop back by a hour later to check in incase there was any issues, not only were there no issues, he said it would be done in a couple minutes. I was ecstatic and wanted to reward him for taking such good care of me. I tried to tip him 50 dollars cash, he refused to take it so I tried to tip him 20 actually force it on him, he refused. His comment to me was ( Im so glad you are happy with our service) I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I know how hard it is to own a business in California, and I also know how easy it is to get a bad review and not a good one. I personally think anyone needing any services this establishment has to offer is selling themselves short if they dont at least give them a call.Best wishes to you sir you earned my utmost respects-Glenn Herring

Camera glass broke on my note 20 ultra and they fixed it in 1day. They did a great job and it was over a hundred dollars less than Samsung however they are Samsung certified so it was just like sending it to Samsung only cheaper.👍😊

I needed a repair on my Pixel 2 screen and found this place on Googles list of repair shops. I went to their website and scheduled a curbside drop-off of my cell phone for repair. After driving 45 mins to get there, I found there was no curbside drop off. I then went inside the store and talked to the guy behind the counter while he asked me for a bunch of information that I had already submitted online, and that he should have had in front of him. This went on for a very long time with lots of long awkward pauses as he typed on the computer. It took 45 mins for the guy behind the counter to tell me that they had no pixel 2 screens in stock and it would take at least 5-6 days for them to get there. I asked him why he didnt tell me that when I scheduled the appointment, to save me from wasting my time in driving out, and he just kind of shrugged. Another 45 mins drive home to spend the rest of my Saturday looking up another cell phone repair store that could actually help me. I dont know if all the Ubreakifix stores are this bad but I would avoid this one.
