Everything is so good! Drinks are on point. They have an amazing brunch package for 28 dollars with an hour and a half of unlimited mimosas. Food is so darn good! Friendly service and the brunch seems to be undiscovered yet, hardly no one around at 11am. The brunch is from 11am to 3pm every Saturday and Sunday. Other than brunch, their regular menu is just as great if not better. Do not pass this place up, its too good.
Great for group brunches! I recommend the mimosa loca. They offer a prefix menu for less than $30 per person.

There is a picture of it half eaten. Besides that the $25 brunch it a super sweet deal. My entree was very very good plus bottomless mimosas until 3pm! You get your money worth and more. I would totally go back.

This review is for the brunch offering.If this isnt your usual brunch spot, it should be. For $25 (per person) you get an app, an entree, a dessert, and bottomless mimosas. The food was excellent. The service was good. The music wasnt overwhelming and the atmosphere was lovely. In addition to the quality, the entrees are quite sizeable (the apps and desserts were appropriately sized). Service was pretty good. We came on a Saturday but it looks like there is live music on Sundays

Service was not that great. We asked for water thinking we may get a glass with ice and we got charged 2.50 per bottle. No ice tea either so we were forced to get a can of sprite. I ordered chicken with mushrooms over a sauce and the mushrooms were really burnt and small. The chicken however had a bold amazing taste. Before the pandemic this place was great now its really need to get together.
The waitress tried to scam us charging for more stuff on the bill, stuff we didn’t orden and when I asked her about it she showed attitude, so she got mad because i didn’t let her still from me! The party is good, nice people go there but very dishonest people for a few bucks !!! Feels really bad that the want to rip me off !!!

Food was sub-par this time, service was rather poor and beware of 2 things that they wont tell you...for a party of 3 they included an 18% tip on the bill, also they will literally kick you out when youre there for 2hs claiming some covid-19 bull@$%# excuse. Im OK with the 2hs limit if they tell me ahead of time not whenever they feel like they need a table for new customers. I will not be returning anytime soon unless someone apologizes for the poor customer service my party experienced.

Maria Mentiras Bar & Grill is a fantastic place for meat lovers! Delicious food, great service, large portions, and just a wonderful overall experience. Ive been wanting to try this place for some time. Finally made a reservation for 2 on a Wednesday evening. I highly recommend making a reservation. Im pretty sure all the tables were filled on this particular night.
We came to this place for lunch. my friend recommended this place. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff were very polite and we felt very good. The meal was great. We enjoyed every moment and we shall absolutely come back again. We recommend this place to all.

The place is nice, good environment and music, however the Staff is rude and dont respect peoples reservation. They care more about how many people is coming, how much are they spending at the place instead of giving customers a good experience.
I’ve had the worst experience. I went with my parents and they kicked us out because it was a two hours limit. However, there were other tables that were there way before us and no one said a word to them. Its sad because this is a place I always liked for a quick happy hour drink but after this experience, I suggest that everyone should go some place else. The service was awful. If you don’t wanna go through a similar experience consider going somewhere else. In this place, if you wanna be treated right, then you gotta be Colombian, otherwise you’re treated as if your were not welcomed. Certainly, this is not a place you’d wanna go to unwind

Went there for the 1st time Saturday night.. Heard the drinks and music were good so we decided to give it a try. Disappointed from the beginning. The waitress was polite but she sat us down at dirty table which normally, Wouldnt make a big deal about as it would usually get wiped down. However, the waitress decides to clean the table with a Pledge like foam spray which sprayed mist all over my friends and I. The waitress was oblivious to this.Drinks:The server convinced us to order a full pitcher of the Champagne Sangria as she recommended it as her favorite and best drink at the place. Disappointed again. It wasnt terrible but it definitely wasnt anything memorable. The plastics wine glasses were so taboo. Take note, a full pitcher will only serve 4 ppl 1 half full cup.Food:We asked about the 6 sampler appetizer ($35) on the menu. She advised that the chef picks out the 6 for you based on what is the most fresh in the kitchen. We gave it a chance. After 35 minutes of waiting for the appetizer, it finally came out. After 20 min of waiting, we did ask the waitress on status and she said she would check on it but she never followed up with us but instead went to chat up with her coworkers while we waited an additional 15 min for the apps.The apps that the chef selected for us were calamaris, shrimp in garlic sauce, stuffed mushrooms, quesadillas, bbq pulled pork sliders, and chorizo. Lets start with the fact that nothing was warm.The calamari s were the smallest rings I have ever seen in my life and definitely tasted microwaved.Served 4 shrimp that tasted like they had turned (very fishy taste).4 Stuffed mushrooms tasted like the stuffing had gone bad. And they were small mushrooms.Quesadillas were just melted cheese on a flour tortilla. No flavor at all. Only side served with is was guacamole, no salsa or sour cream.Bbq pork sliders were actually pretty tasty. Wouldnt mind eating those again.Chorizo was cut in half and served 3 half sliced chorizos (so 1.5 chorizo in total). They were tasty but they come already full of flavor precooked so I cant really give the chef credit fo that. Also some of them were burned.The last thing was the bill. THIS IS IMPORTANT!!! NOTE THAT THEY AUTOMATICALLY ADD 18% TIP TO A TABLE OF 3 or more ppl. I have never experienced this in my life. I have only seen automatic gratuity added on tables of 6 or more. I have heard of 5 but never 3! We did not see it posted on their menu and only found out when we saw the bill. We asked the waitress if that was correct and she confirmed yes.Too bad I didnt think of taking pictures of anything else that night but it is etched in my memory forever. Needless to same we left after that and decided to eat dinner elsewhere. Luckily the new place we went to was an amazing first time experience that made up for the dissatisfaction that took place here!

Too bad I wasnt feeling good so we left early that night and I couldnt listen to the live-music band. Ill let you know next time!!

Like the place itself. Terrific music, excellent location, not to crowded which was really convenient. But I didnt like the food. We had the picada that came with a variety of meats but it was dry and cold. Other than that, it was just nice!

Went in for a couple of drinks with my fiancé. They charged us for our drinks and a canned soda I ordered. On the ticket there was two sodas so I asked her about it and she informed me that my finances water counted as a soda. No big deal. Got the final ticket and was charged gratuity for two people. Two people! Are you kidding me! Do not go there, they try to hose visitors! Read through reviews and it appears they’ve been doing this to people that have called them on their over charges. Not good business.

They accommodated 40 to 50 of us (separate checks were not a problem at all) the wait staff was very pleasant. John Carlos was our waiter, he was friendly and polite and accurate. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stop before the football game. The food was fresh and super delicious. Id go back!
I think this place rocks! The service is wonderful and the food is 5 stars. I ordered the grilled chicken with wine mushroom sauce and roasted potatoes and I was shocked at how delicious it came out. You gotta try! They deserve a two thumbs up!

I’ve come to Maria mentiras a few times because it’s so close to my house but time and time again have been disappointed. During a previous visit, I ordered a glass of white wine which was definitely from a bottle that was opened for a long time and tasted like it had gone bad. I came tonight, on a Thursday, for the live music they advertised online however after ordering appetizers found out they cancelled (this was not posted on their page), and now spent $ on calamari which looks and tastes as if it was from a frozen bag from the supermarket. My fiancé ordered an old fashioned and it was also no good. It’s unfortunate as the staff is kind, service is good, and they have good music on the weekends but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Bad services took so long and the server gave us the checked after the first drinks because she was living, we order appetizers and more drinks to other girl not a nice server, then the first one the supposedly was living brought us the plates ( dirty plates🤮) drinks and appetizers, then and she asked us to pay the checked again because she had an emergency and she had to leave, we left and she was still there. I visited this place before i had good margaritas but this last time dissapoint me.

Worst experience ever!!!! We use to come to this place and the cook was a lady and she was very good but when we came in for Father’s Day my parents order mar y Tierra with lobster tail and the food was horrible. The lobster tail was spoiled and my dad’s lobster tail shelf had a fly that came out of it. It smelled disgusting and meat was undercooked. That day who ever was cooking had no idea what he was doing. The manger a guy that was as bartender gave us an attitude cause after that I didn’t want to eat my food either, i order the paella and the muscles were old and look and smell horrible. he was very rude and he was not apologetic for the bad food. We could of have gotten sick if we ate that thing. DISGUSTING 100% very disappointing. I used to love this place. Perhaps the manager should check the plates before they are Sever to the customers and should take some customer service lessons.

Great bar serving varied food. Very nice environment too. Only two complaints are that some of the tables are too close to each other and the music is sometimes loud/unstable.
