Such an unpleasant place . Not only did they refuse to check for a couple different sized wing nuts, but had the audacity to not even look at the example I brought in. The unconcerned employee wasn’t even finished speaking before being interrupted by another worker who did not even take a glance at the example I brought in, “. We don’t have it, go somewhere else “ . It is very much ok to not have some supplies and tools; but showing zero effort to help a customer in need is totally unacceptable.Not to mention you can’t even roam freely in search of what you need without being harassed by the unconcerned employees.

Everytime I have entered this establishment it wreaks of cigarettes. Im asthmatic and can tell when someone is smoking. Before the virus it was so bad I had to leave on several occasions. I decided to try it again, since its rather a convenient location. I came with my mask on and once again smelled cigarette smoke. The other customer agreed with me. I think its very careless to smoke within the confines of a business. I know they have a private space in the back, but that doesnt justify subjecting the customers to second hand smoke. This is very inappropriate. I wont be purchasing from them anymore. I want to give my business to a place that cares about my health.

Just rude this is wat happens when ppl dont know what they’re doing ur just a dollar to them the owner is really rude and obnoxious u can tell shes out of her element this is twice no more

Unfortunately I went to this store few days ago I was looking a tools for my washer machine and there is a lady which is helpful nice and kind but there is a mid age old man come after her he try to judge me he asking me how to fix your machine you are not a plumber and his attitude terrible,so anger he is looks like a angry bird of human version dont go there

I have been using Rojos Hardware, for years. The owners will practically bend over backwards to save your money and get whatever you need. As a contractor, I buy all my kitchen cabinets through them, hot water heaters and electrical supplies. Theyre always very helpful with any questions that I have. Way better than going to Lowes or Home Depot, where you can never find any help, or if you do its wrong information.

The place is great. Its a time-machine, like something out of the 1950s. Its a tiny little shop but they are always at pains to help you get what you want and/or solve your problem in some other way. If the staff cant help you, half the time a customer will chime in with advice. The prices are very reasonable.

I have only been in here a few times but always feel a bit uneasy in here. I dont know if they just think they are being attentive to their customers or worried about shoplifters. They always follow you to ask you if you need assistance finding something and I usually say no thanks. After the first employee asks you, another one seems to be sent to do the same a minute later. Three different employees did this last time before I just left. Its a small store and all the employees huddle around the front so I find it hard to think they dont know I was already asked. Id like to look around, find what I need and maybe more. If I cant find something I will ask but otherwise wish to shop in peace.

Definetely would never recommend anyone to ever step foot in here. If you’re standing out there too long or waiting around minding your own business the owner is a creep and starts taking pictures of you. Horrible customer service. I understand the importance of small businesses but I would not recommend stopping by here, save yourself the time and go to Lowe’s or Home Depot, very nice and so much more friendlier than this crazy guy. Much better customer experience than you’ll ever find over here. No need to fall for the false reviews by paid reviewers.

Personal touch. Very nice and helpful owners. I prefer the Mom n Pop shops over huge corporate hardware stores. I highly recommend these fine hard working folks for your hardware needs in Weehawken/Union City.

Great place, helpful folks, knowledgeable. Rojo’s prices are comparable to the big box hardware stores, and you get help finding stuff immediately. They know the merchandise because it’s their business, you’re not dealing with a kid running out the clock on their big box store summer job. (After very lame and annoying experiences at Lowe’s and Home Depot, I’m done with big box. Local shops and Amazon from here out.)

The owners are very nice. Anyone who post negative has a personal thing against them. Prices are very fair, can they sell everything at Home Depot prices, have some IQ, if they sell one of the same item then Home Depo probably sold a million or so. With that said many prices and quality actually are better, kitchen cabinets are at least 50% cheaper then, yes Home Depot. The quality of actual care, concern and knowledge between this place and Home Depot cannot even be compared. You are dealing with an owner here. Negative Post = Natural born Haters

This place is awesome! I lived in Weehawken on and off for 10 years and theyre my go to spot for all my little projects and problems that pop up around the house. Theyre always nice and point you in the right direction and also dont try to sell you on something you dont need. Bonus their multilingual too! Go check out Rojo if youre in the Weehawken, Union City or West New York! Small businesses need the love.

Small town personal touch hardware store! Not many left but these guys are fantastic. I would rather spend my money here than at Home Depot or Lowes any day of the week...

Horrible customer service; I went to exchange 14 screws and a 2 L brackets that I bought an hour before and the guy at the cash register sighed and started shouting this isnt home depot, you cant just return things even thou the reciept said you could. Then he refused to let me buy the item I was exchanging for after he handled me back my money from the return (he even gave me back too much money).

Emily is a sweetheart and she knows her screws nuts and bolts like a champ.

I Love Rojo, they are very kind and always help me with all my needs, I come all the way from Bergen county to make keys, they never fail, I also remodeled my kitchen and they did an amazing job with the cabinets, I could not believed the great quality for such an affordable price, I couldnt be happier with the service Ive gotten from them!!!

Yes, its the only hardware store in the neighborhood but their prices are higher than what one might find if one can drive to a Home Depot or Walmart. For those without cars I suppose this is the best that you can do.

Horrible customer service the low life worker at the register was watching porn on his smart phone behind the counter as I was trying to pay for an item, I ended up leaving the item and going to home depot.

They are nice and gentle
