Everyone I know buys from Abernathy’s, finally just on happenstance, me and friend were flipping thru their inventory, I wasn’t paying attention, and my friend pointed out the bike I was looking for. They had a great price on it, and when I called, Danny Mac took care of me from that second. He was patient with me because I was trying to get bank and insurance numbers together. All the while he had other people calling in and asking on the bike. Everything finally lined out and I was able to bring a check in for the bike. Danny stayed 30 min late one day because their hours were wrong online for winter. I ordered a key fob, and there was a mix up on the price, Danny took care of me. I’ve had 7+ motorcycles over the years. Many of which I’ve bought new. This experience definitely one of my top buying experiences. Plus the bike looks great. It’s only the second used motorcycle I’ve ever bought. And it only had 1,100 miles on it.

Purchased a new RAZR on Saturday 10/24/2020. Lance was my sales person and was great to work with! Drove 9 hours to pickup the machine and really had no idea what to expect from I69. There were some minor issues given the record sales levels of side by sides. Inventory seems to be sold as quick as they get it in and there were multiple machines being loaded the entire time I was at their store. Expect some slow return of phone calls, slow paperwork processing and low inventory levels including accessories. However, they have great prices and seem to be able to get machines that other dealers cant!

We worked with Seth, salesman, he was very helpful and polite. Seth was very knowledgeable about the rangers, he was able to give us a great price within a few minutes that we felt was fair. Within an hour our ranger was ready to load and go. We definitely recommend anyone to check out this company !!

Got a great price on a new Honda Talon and the seller (Keith Jones) kept in great contact with me as I was coming from 800 miles away. I would give that experience 5 stars. However, after getting the machine home, I noticed MISSING and LOOSE screws and a bit of rust on various stainless parts all around. I looked on Google Maps and was able to see these machines are stored OUTSIDE for months prior to sale. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase but wish I would have looked things over prior to driving off as the assembly team did a really poor job, they deserve 1 star. Tried reaching back out after the sale and didnt hear a peep. Do your due diligence up front and inspect the machine.

They are the friendliest group I met. They know the products they are sell. The atmosphere is unmatched and Ben is very helpful, any question I had he had the information. Would tell people to go here and dont bother going anywhere else. I had a great experience and will return.

As a Harley Davidson owner, I called their service department after I found that they owned the Rockford-Fosgate flash tool for updating headunits to work properly with aftermarket audio amplifiers. They said bring your bike in and well flash your radio. When I arrived, I discovered they are NOT a H-D dealer. I thought...uh huh. I had just riden 1.5 hours in chilly January weather and the sun was dropping fast. No matter...they flashed my radio (something my local H-D dealer couldnt do) and only charged me $56. A local car stereo shop had the R-F tool and wanted $150. I saved $94 and had a nice ride up and back. It was chilly going home after sunset but my stereo sounded so much better! They were nice to deal with and fast. If you have a Honda or Polaris (and possibly other brands they sell/service) I highly recommend their serice shop!

First time here and no other Harley will get my first time visit. Everyone was so helpful and informative. My local harley is 20 minutes away and this one is about 1 hour and some change away and Ill go here anytime I need something. They have the best prices, and are upfront and honest with the customer. Even if you arent the most knowledgeable about your bike or motorcycles in general they understand and will inform you of whatever you need to know. Also, everyone in service was extremely helpful and wanted to make sure the motorcycle was ready to go, double even triple checking to make sure it was safe. Safety is their priority and theyre not gonna shrug off a couple things on their check list just so their job gets done a little quicker.

Spoke to a guy named Luke over the phone. This guy was incredibly unconcerned about providing any level of service to a customer.I would never buy from this place because of this one person - It’s a shame because Abernathy’s seems to have a decent reputation but one person can spoil the experience and excitement of purchasing a new Polaris. I purchased a brand new Polaris the next day at another place in TN - I hope anyone that reads this doesn’t have to deal with Luke and you have a better experience than I do!

My son and I were about 300 miles from home and there are no dealerships between Abernathys and home. We stopped by yesterday and they were having their open house. I went to the service dept and they were not working due to the event. I explained that I had a noise coming from the belt and I was concerned it would leave me stranded on the road. They rode it, broke it down and diagnosed. They assured me that I would be fine until I got home. Best yet, they didnt charge me. That was very cool. Of course, this took some time so we walked around for a couple of hours and everyone was super nice. Very big dealership with lots of inventory. Great place!! Thank you again for getting someone back there to check out my bike. I appreciated more than you know.

I would buy from here again but not let their mechanic work on my machine again. The shop was very pleasant and easy to deal with but he did some fairly bad work on our machine. I originally rated them 5 stars and wasnt going to change it because I really liked doing business there and like the people but I keep finding more stuff that he did to our machine that is just bad work.

Best dealership I have ever been to. Sad that they are closing. The team there has always treated us like family, and it means alot. They always treated us the same even when we didnt buy anything. Most places are not like that, they are good people.

Would like to caution anyone purchasing a SXS from Abernathys to beware of promises made regarding the extended warranty they provide. Also, dont even bother with this warranty unless you are in their back yard. Other dealerships are NOT able to help you with negotiations, and let me tell you---Abernathys is NOT going out of their way to assist you with it either. The issue with our machine was not due to operator error in any way....didnt matter.

Best deal on tires in a 200 mile radius with knowledgeable parts and service techs and good mechanics. Gina made it a smooth transition for me to pick my bike up after ordering it while overseas and Daniel White gave me a great run down on my bike and all the functions of it. Trent (parts dept) is always helpful when I call to order parts and makes great recommendations. Harold (service dept) does a great job making sure my bike is well taken care of and stored in their warehouse while I work overseas. Has even emailed me pictures of my bike with my upgrades completed. Just an all around excellent staff!

I feel I got a fair price on my bike, but the customer service here is awful. I read the reviews here before I went in and I just thought it was people being high strung, but sadly the reviews are accurate. If you need anything after you hand over your money, good luck! You will get the run around for warranty work, paperwork and things you should have gotten with your bike the day you bought it.

The owner and most staff are Horrible to work with. I literally ask a salesman his name and he just kept giving me this look like I dont have to tell you anything. After talking to the owner ( who claimed to be the police) wich is a lie. I found out we needed get our bikes and go. Id never go back here ever. Abernathy and their staff are wonderful, their customer service is great and theyve been very helpful. However, do not buy the extended warranty that they will sell you IF it is through American Guardian Warranty Services.American Guardian is the absolute worst warranty department, and their customer service is terrible. After starting my machine last month and pulling it onto my trailer, I noticed a substantial grinding/knocking noise. I made an appointment with my local dealership.The dealers inspection revealed the front differential is faulty as a result of the front diff seals failing and all of the fluid leaking out. When the dealership sent my claim to American Guardian advising the front differential would need replaced, American Guardian sent out an inspector to diagnose the machine. The inspector and the dealership were in agreeance that the front differential was defeated as a result of the seals failing and the fluid leaking out.When the claim was sent to American Guardian, ($1700 in parts/labor) they refused the claim because of continued operation but admitted the seals failing being the reasoning for the differential being defeated. I explained to the dealership that there were no signs that the seals failed. There was no check engine lights or strange noises/smells. The dealership stated they are not responsible for damage done to the machine as a result of the failed seals. I asked the dealership how I shouldve known the differential was leaking, and was told that they arent sure but ultimately Im responsible for the machine being operable. I explained that I was riding with my toddler children, and I asked if it were the case that I noticed the differential was leaking, what would be their suggestion when in the middle of the woods with my small children in the cold. Dennis, the customer service manager stated, and I quote, You dont want to know what I would suggest, youll get even more angry!This is the absolute worst company. They do not care about your families safety, and are only concerned with ripping customers off. Please do your research about this company prior to buying their warranty.

Purchased a new Polaris from them in 2016 and was a pleasant experience. Called this week about purchasing a second 4 wheeler, spoke to a salesman and explained what I was looking for and he said he’d send me the quote within an hour. Never received the quote! Called and left messages at least 6 different times during the week with a promise that a salesperson would call me back and they never did. I purchased the 4 wheeler from shoals on Friday due to this. They posted a Facebook video of the packed parking lot on Saturday, and I along with numerous other customers complained about our calls not being returned and I suggested they stop posting pics of the parking lot and return some calls. I then get blasted by Russel on Facebook who basically said he didn’t need my business. The post was immediately deleted after this so other customers couldn’t see what was said. I will not spend another penny in this place.

All around best place to buy polaris. We have bought in multiple other states and places. This was the friendliest and would deal within limits (of course). I perfer them over dealers in AL, GA and PA, so far, just saying. Didnt even treat females differently, cant say that about the others. Oh and they have a terribly huge selection, seriously.

**this may be long, but I thought it was worth sharing**My boyfriend and I got his first motorcycle at four rivers in Paducah, our local dealership. We had such a bad experience from the beginning. We were talked to like we were a wasted of time, told it would be $150 to look at/possibly fix a FACTORY WARRANTY issue, and constantly felt rushed, esp once it was close to closing and even turned all the lights off in building while we were still inside doing paperwork, and did not go over the new bike we purchased or given an owners manual.Which brings us to Abernathys. After a 5 minute phone call to schedule our service, we instantly got stellar service. Trent (service) answered all of our questions and assured us it would not cost us a dime for the factory issue. The day of our appointment we got there at 9:45 so we could have plenty of time to look around and browse before the scheduled service. They got us in ahead of time and went over every inch of the bike. They found that the handle bars never got adjusted and they fixed them for us. They answered all of our questions and concerns and never once made us feel like we were dumb or wasting their time.We spent most of the day looking at different bikes and eventually decided on trading in ours for a new one. Dallas (sales) took his time explaining the process of trading in our bike and how it would affect everything. I really appreciated that he answered and addressed me just as equally as my boyfriend whereas I felt like a bystander at four rivers. If there was anything we didnt understand he made sure to explain it differently so we did. After we finalized paperwork. He went over the entire bike with BOTH of us (I really appreciated being included even if I dont ride). He made sure my boyfriend understood the bike, how to break in the new engine, and never once rushed us out or made it seem like he was just trying to get us out the door (even though it was an hour after close). He then let my boyfriend Ride around the parking lot until he was comfortable enough to ride home in the dark since the new bike is much bigger and more powerful than his old one.Trent and Dallas both checked on us the next day to make sure we made it back to Kentucky and home okay. 50/10 would recommend this dealership to any person new rider or old or even a non rider like myself.

We had been on the road for 750 miles on our way from TX to Washington D.C. for the Run to the Wall and unable to speak with one another due to our Bluetooth headsets being messed up. We stopped here to see if they could help us clear up whatever was wrong. The service team was very friendly and helpful and fixed the glitch we had for free. Its so wonderful not having to ride in silence anymore... They were awesome.

We purchased a unit on my birthday, drove 6hrs back home..had some issues with it. Called and spoke with Kyle. He said he would call me back. It was quick! He took care of me and my family very fast. By Friday we had a brand new replacement unit at my door step!! That’s amazing service. If I could give them a 100 stars I would! We buy a lot of new atv and sxs’s, this is our new store to buy from. Bought a 2019 rzr 1000 highlifter brought it in for manufacturer warranty they found a bad timing chain tensioner . Got it back rode it a couple times it started smoking come to find out they didnt change the oil so there was metal in the oil where the chain had been slapped the block. now Factory warranty has expired but I do have extended warranty Ive been on the phone with the them multiple occasions trying to get the 1st copy of our contract so I can get the warranty work done they have not even tried to help. Im still waiting after 4 days

Ask for Chassity! We drove 7 hours and got exactly what we were promised: the best price on a great Polaris. Although the people and place are fantastic, I would recommend two things. First, I would have easily dropped $100 on a couple of hoodies had they been available. I wish there were more gear for sale. Secondly, after we were done with the sales person and ready to pay, there was a communication error that kept the finance people from knowing we were ready. We waited for more than an hour just to pay for our purchase. Improvement on that communication would be good. Thank you guys!

I spoke on the phone a few times with Wes about a trailer. When I arrived, the trailer was ready and papers were ready to be signed. They were actually really busy with some folks before me, and I had time to look at a different trailer. Wes got me into a new Triton trailer within my budget. It was definitely worth the drive from Missouri to make this sale. Spoke with the owner as I was leaving, and got a great feeling they will take care of me if I need anything else, and appreciated my business. I would recommend them from my personal experience.

Great service, only had 2 of the 5 items for a basic tune-up on my 2007 Polaris Hawkeye 300 you would think they would have the basics, parts in stock this time of year and being a Polaris dealer its just not quite right. Orders for these basic items will take 5 days according to the parts clerk, dont get me wrong but I needed the parts today, not a week from now, and they should have these basic parts on hand, being such a large dealership and with their excellent reputation I am shocked they didnt have basic air cleaner in stock along with the other tune-up patrs.

These guys really know what theyre doing. I had an extremely pleasant experience dealing with them- no pressure, they shoot you straight and the price you see is what you get- no games or gimmicks. Josh was great to deal with. I will continue to refer my friends and family to you guys, youre definitely worth the 3 1/2 hour drive!!!

Coming to this dealership with full intention to buy I was glad I didnt. After looking at all the atvs and four wheelers inside and outside the building not one person asked how I was doing or if I needed help. Many employees had walked by but didnt say a word. Not to mention I did request a sales person and no one came. The selection was very little and disappointing.
