This place was clean and efficient not a long wait time customer service representative was prompt, professional and friendly with assisting me with my needs. This is an excellent place to do oil changes, repair and tires I have been a long time customer of Pepboys because they honest and fair when dealing with customers. Please don’t hesitate to do business with this place you will not be disappointed.
THEY ARE BULL. Don’t go here (at least for an wheel alignment) ..I went and had an wheel alignment in September, but something in my gut feeling was telling me they either didn’t do it or they jipped me.When I got my car back, I literally felt as if my car was running the same. (It was real iffy that ONE OF THE GIYS DROVE MY CAR AROUND THE BLOCK) for what reason I’m not sure. But that was weird .So here I am today back at PEP BOYS IN MARIETTA, and guess what I NEEDED AN WHEEL ALIGNMENT .I’ve been out the country for about an month . My car been sitting so no way I should need another one so soon.I know from my tires. They started to lose air and look worn out (ALL FOUR TIRES WERE BRAND NEW)Moral of my story DONT TRUST THESE FOLKSIM SORRY TO SAY I RATHER GO WHERE THE CAUCASIANS ARE BECAUSE THEY WILL MAKE SURE YOU ARE GOOD.Shame on these folksIf I knew a name I would say….DO NOT TRUST UNION CITYThank god for WARRANTY
This location has excellent customer service, and excellent auto service. My used car needed replacement parts and the fluids needed to be flushed, etc. My car runs so well now and my gas mileage is amazing. I was thinking about trading the car but now I love my car after pep boys fixed the problems.

Last time I will ever use one of these chain car repair places. Dropped my car off because my battery light was going off and on. They tell me the problem is my alternator and S belt, and it’s going to be $1400 to replace, and they highly recommend getting it done because the car could stop at any time. I get the repairs done because I have two young kids I drive around and can’t afford to have my car breakdown with them in it.Two days later my car battery light starts going on and off intermittently again. I bring it back to pep boys because they told me there was a limited warranty on the service done, and then they call and tell me the car battery sensor is faulty and they want me to pay another $400 for a sensor to be replaced. I say no thank you, and they expect me to pay another $170 for them doing a diagnostic on the car! Unreal. They use scare tactics to get people to agree to expensive, over priced repairs which aren’t the real issue. I doubt my alternator and s belt were even bad to begin with.
I went fo 2 new tires and forgot to take out my battery charger from the glove compartment, when they return my car my batt.cherger eas gone.im 110%my car went in with my charger when it was returned no charger.what a shame.i willfollow up in court.
Had an appointment at 1 pm. Dropped care off at 1 pm .. They stated should be an hour for an oil change . Returned 5 hours later Car not touched !in 5 1/2 hours!! Stated they will try to get me up next . No thanks, disappointing!!!!!!

If I could leave zero stars I would. I realized I had a leak in my tire but couldnt find the source. I took my tire to pep boys to see if they could figure it out because I thought had road side hazard insurance. After waiting two hours the mechanic said he couldnt find anything wrong with the tire. I explained to him the situation and he suggested Should do a tire bead reseal. This is what get me infuriated because their service rep told me that they did find a nail in my tire. So now im not only being charged for a tire fix but also an unnecessary be reseal as well. so what was suppose to be at worst 20 turned into 58 dollars. Do not go to the scam artists if you value your time and money.Update....after talking to pep boys corporate and then receiving a call from the assistant manager I got a refund for the unnecessary charges. So Ill be switching from 0 stars to 3 stars since the assistant manager did handle it.
Came in for tire replacement they recommended me to do the breaks I did the breaks and they gave me the car back with all the break lights on. PLEASE I BEG YOU DONT COME HERE

Listen People Pepboy is Gunning for your money they serious about getting that New Tire again let me stress, New tire on your car, a tire repair shop is exactly what it is a tire repair shop, I seen see many of you all buying them no good used tires, I must admit I got caught once, just once but when I discovered pep boys and seeing the price of their tires no more used tires for me pep (boy) .

Horrible retuned trip they left my oil cap open my car leaked oil for week til i had it chked out found out they didnt tighten cap under car .....beware they have students not real mechanics lesson learned.....
My air conditioner and heat was not working so I scheduled an appointment with one location at 9 am, got there about 8:40 and was told that they did not do diagnosis there so I had to visit another location. Why am I able to schedule an appointment somewhere, where they do not diagnose cars, makes no sense. I rescheduled an apt at 12:30. Got there at 11:45 and sat for 3 hours which I knew would have been a possibility so that was okay I was warned. I ended up being told that there was NOTHING they could do about my ac/heating system not working and I would have to go to where I purchased the vehicle and get it fixed. I was told some sort of connector melted and something may be wrong with my dash belt. Went somewhere where they specialize in foreign cars and got a call an hour later saying that someone had taken my system completely apart and all that needed to be done was someone to connect the wires back completely. I am wondering why the ppl at Pep Boys couldn’t figure that out. I am so glad II didn’t lose any money but NOBODY HAD AN IDEA TO JUST CONNECT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER. What connector melted.???? I will NEVER go here again.

Gave me clear information of the problem I had with my vehicle and repaired it in a timely fashion. I must say the mechanic that repaired it by the name of Manny was extremely helpful as well. Come at your own risk, came to only change my 02 sensor and get an oil change. They notified me of something else wrong with my car, I said don’t worry about it at the moment. After I left, I notice my steering wasn’t the same, they messed with what they pointed out to earlier to me and damaged it even more to make me spend more money, which I didn’t. As a result, I went to an actual professional mechanic and had to get that part fixed. Never returning, unprofessional customer service also.

I only come here to buy new tires & get car accessories, but not for fixing car. I had a bad experience years ago where they messed the car up so much they had to send to dealer, but that was years ago maybe the mechanics are better now, but Ill never find out because I wont do that again but excellent service other than that.

I was harrased by a service advisor for not wearing a mask. He was behind a shield and harrased me as I was paying for service all the way out the door. The store is dusty n smells like rubber clean the store.

Went to this particular location on 8/6/20 just to have a nail removed from my front passenger tire. When I got my car back, the front passenger rim was heavily damaged. No one owned up to it and told me I cant prove it was them. Unbelievable. Will not be coming back.

Started off with professional service then once business agreement made they freestyle their service there on. Gave me tires other then wat I agreed & payed for without my consent. Sent me away with checking service then I had to double back to store took me back in but sent me away again with same issue Bad Alignment wasted hole day.Then Come back next day and have me waiting over half hour while service Tech walking around doing nothing waisted more Time Gas & Money so I took my key and left. Never Again Shame on you Pepboys!
This place is a joke. I made the online appointment they even same me a confirmation number. So I get up in the morning. Put my new wheels in the truck. They had a deal of buy 3 and get one free on ko2. When I get the guy asked me the truck year. And when I told him about the deal. He said the order didn’t go true. But he offered some cooper tires on me. I said no thank you and I left. What a waste of time. Don’t believe everything they offer online people. I even had screenshots of the offers in my phone if they want proof
Unusual wait time, appointment was made over phone, entered establishment, and was told that nothing was made, wait time is between 2 to 2 1/2 ( two to two in a half hour) for a oil change, customers coming into Pep Boys complaining,

Pep Boys is closing their retail shops. There were only leftovers left in the store. If you happen to need oil or something they still had it but many specific parts were not there anymore. Typical of a going-out-of-business store.

I went to Pep Boys for a slow leak in my tire.The customer service was good, the service was prompt..... after leaving this location I drove on 22 on my way home. I noticed the air pressure in the repaired tire showed 255 while the others showed 225. When I got home the repaired tire showed 265. Do you mean to tell me you couldnt properly inflate 1 tire. Its sad
Went to get my cars alignment done, turns out my car needed more work that was wag out of my budget. Regardless they were nice about it and gave advice on what part i should do to start fixing my car first.
Went in to change my transmission oil and there was no hassle at all. The service was great and super quick. My car was done before I even knew it. Great customer service and they answered all of my questions without any issue. Definitely going to keep coming back!!
I brought my car in in the morning with a huge issue with the steering column. Service was excellent and very professional. I left my car there and I was given timely updates about when my car would be fixed and when I can pick it up. I had some contact with the manager there named Vinny he went above and beyond thank you so much.
I went there to get a few fixes and some new tires. I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg and wait a few days. Instead, what I found was competitive prices and outstanding service. Bronko and his team were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and quick. I got my car back the same day and it drives like new. Not only that, but their tires are covered for as long as I have them on there. I highly recommend coming here for all auto repairs.
Went there to get my battery check. They said my battery, alternator, and starter was good. Went to the grocery store 2 hours later and my battery was dead. Called AAA and they came and tested my battery and the test showed my battery needed to be replace. So I had the battery replace by AAA. I doubt if they ever check my battery at Pep Boys. Very poor service I received at Pep Boys.

Set an appointment for 1 tire installation in advance so I didn’t have to wait too long but not only did I have to wait 2 whole hours just for one tire, in the end they put it on the wrong wheel. Sales person & I went to confront the technician in charge of the tire change & he either couldn’t tell the difference between the left and right side of the car or it was because he wasn’t paying attention at his job. Worth noting that prior to the change it was written on top of the paper to change that specific tire. Only reason I’m giving this a 2 star is because the sales person helping me out apologized for the inconvenience but this shouldn’t have happened in the first place.Edit: after waiting another 30 minutes for the tire change, they failed to provide me with the original tire twice, which I asked to keep in the beginning. Now I’m under the impression that the workers in this location lack discipline & fail to deliver even the smallest request.
The manager Vinny was great, after intake guy was not so Rude...Jeff,CJ and David are great and helpful as well..They all explained the problem to me and did not just say, this is what you need lady. ...I like that they work with you, especially if you had previous work done...I give them a five star because dude with bad customer service ( I forgot his name) did not take care of me anymore.Will continue to go there for maintenance

This was my first experience with Pep boys, but one of the managers by the name of James made my experience truly pleasant. I was having a difficult time finding rotors that fit my sport coupe both from a performance and aesthetics perspective with nearby mechanic shops, however, James was very diligent and patience with finding the right rotors that met the needs of my car. I highly recommend him and Pep Boys service. Will return again!
Bad service. James manager assistant is rude. I made a question. I asked for how long I should wait till my car get inspected. JAMES answer if you dont want to wait I can give you the keys basically he kicked me out. I never asked for my keys. I just asked because I was thinking to somebody pick me up During my car got fix.

Not going back to this one. Second time there. The first time the tech overtighten the oil filter. I had to go back because no other, service center would try to take it off. This time, All I asked was for was an oil change and to be mindful of the oil filter. This rotated the, newly installed, tires to the front!
I went there to get fixed a flat tire. They have waiting room in store but I decided to walk to nearby shopping mall. They called me when my car was ready. It took 50 min and I paid $23. Quick service, convenient, good communication and overall great experience.
The worst Auto repair facility Ive ever seen. I brought my car there for 4 new tires and computerized alignment. I worked as an auto technician for 5 years in Union and usually do everything to my car myself but I dont have a tire machine or alignment machine. Also I just recently put all new complete struts in my car and front brakes. When I did the struts on my car it threw the alignment out, so I knew where it was aligned with steering wheel before tires were put on. When I picked the car up the alignment was exactly where it was when I dropped it off, steering wheel off center to the left and car pulling to the left. So they probably falsified the alignment results paper. Also there was a horrible noise coming from the rear right brake drum that wasnt there before. So obviously they dont even test drive the cars because that noise was so loud that if you heard it, you wouldnt let someone drive it. So I brought the car pack and they did the alignment again. The mechanic Trevor comes out to give me my keys and tells me the alignment is all good. So I asked if they looked at the noise, he just starts mumbling under his breath. All I understood was we cant find the noise. Its literally so loud that you cant here the radio. So again, obviously there not even driving the cars they fix. I asked for someone to test drive vehicle with me and they refused and said they couldnt find the service manager Vinnie. So I requested a refund for the alignment, which they gave me no problem. It was almost like they wanted me to leave super fast to get out of their hair. So now I have to go somewhere else to get alignment done right and pull my right rear brake apart to see what they did. Because they checked my brakes when they did tires, which means they pulled the rear brake drums off to view the brake shoes. So during that process they definitely messed up the adjustors and they are refusing to even acknowledge that. Im waiting on a customer service representative to contact me back from corporate.
Called an hour before to inquire about replacing 4 tires. Had done my research prior to going there and got the same estimate. Look for Eon when you visit the store. Excellent service, tires were changed and delivered at the time it was promised. Car is handling much better after the tire install and wheel alignment.
Someone from this location got into an accident with my vehicle doing a test drive and now they are refusing to provide their insurance company’s information AVOID !!
1 star. Happy they stand behind there staff, only reason for one star. Other than that, run away. Better deals anywhere. Better service EVERYWHERE. Corporate mentality is profits over people. Throw parts on and charge knowing it may not solve the problem. Because that only works for your bottom line, not the consumer. When you actually speak to someone, they do back there people. That is rare. But when the issue was handled incorrectly, own it. Dont continue to upsell me. Smarter than you think...

Terrible service. I waited over 2 1/2 hours for an oil change. My cars Maint Reqd light was on and I specifically asked the MANAGER to make sure they reset the light after the oil change. Guess what? I got my car after 2 1/2 hours and the light was never reset. I had to go back inside and ask them once again to do it and it took them almost 40 minutes to figure out how to turn off the light. What kind of professionals are these people? Also, they never put a new sticker in my car for my next oil change. Long story short, I will not be going back to this Pep Boys location. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Amazing went in for an alignment. I have a power steering leak and they topped off the fluid to do it accurately at no extra charge thank you so much guys (2006 Nissan Altima with new tires ) I would give more stars if i could
First time I went there, the guy was helpful. He checked my engine codes and cleared them. Next week I back to see if I fixed my issue and a different guy said they would have to charge me to Check my codes and that they can’t clear the codes due to policy. Which didn’t make sense because the other was able to do it for free.
I needed to replace a few items on my vehicle and decided to try Pep Boys I was somewhat surprised of the help and service I got. I dont often go here but after this visit I plan on returning more often. Right from when I entered one of the employees offered to help me locate the items I was looking for, the prices were good and I had to get rid of some Used oil and the guys were also helpful and courteous in the shop as well in helping me with the oil recycle.
This is by far the worst pep-boys I’ve ever taken my truck to in my life. I’m sitting here for over 2 hours waiting for a simple oil change which turned into a employee telling me next time take my truck to a truck stop. Very poor customer service, I saw the service tech tell complaining customers if you don’t like the service go someplace else. I don’t understand why treat paying customers this way. I walked around the back and I saw employees on their phone without a care in the world. It’s sad that this isn’t the first time me being here for a oil change. This is unacceptable

Took car for an alignment check at Rossell pepboys. The steering wheel was clearly to the right. Got the car back and they said it all aligned fine. I asked why would the wheel be to the right then and they had no idea. Took it to another pepboys in union they said it was clearly out of spec and they would fix it so I got lifetime alignment. They told me the reason my steering wheel was out was the rear axel and they couldnt adjust it. Went to dealer since my rear axle is under warranty and they told me it was an alignment issue. Brought it to a third pepboys in Carteret to try to fix this again. They said clearly it was still out of spec in the front and they must not have adjust it right. When I got it back the steering wheel was straight. Less than one whole day later my steering wheel is now to the left. Clearly they didnt tighten the tie rods down all the way. WTF. I am done with Pepboys completely incompetent at alignments.

After a bad experience with an oil change on my 2009 Altima, Pep Boys stands by their work. They completely fixed the problem and were awesome every step of the way. Great customer service from Pep Boys on 22 in Union!

Tech explained what was involved with my repairs in a way that made sense which gave me confidence in what they would do.
I went to this pep boys location because my “check charging system” warning light appeared on the dash. My battery also died on me. Upon arriving Dave, helped me and explained to me what service I needed to be done prior to having anything replaced. Luis was the technician who worked on my vehicle, he was very helpful at explaining what went wrong with my vehicle and what needed to be done. I then spoke with Jeffrey who helped me choose between what parts would be best and what other parts I should replace being that they were goin to remove a already worn out “serpentine drive belt”. I had a lovely experience here, everyone was very professional and efficient. Definitely recommend to others in the area.
BEWARE. Went because my car wouldnt start and figured that the battery was time to be changed. They did a diagnostic battery check and told me that the alternator was broken and needed replacement for over $500 plus labor in addition to changing the battery. I said to get the car started and I would go to the dealer as my car is under a bumper to bumper warranty. They argued that it would not be covered under warranty and said that I would end up spending more at a dealer. I insisted and took my car to the dealer where they said there is nothing wrong with the alternator. They also said that if it did need replacement that it would have been covered. These guys are dishonest crooks that make for the mechanic garage stereotype about swindling people out of money for repairs that they do not need.
I took my car in for repairs three times within a week and a half. They claim that my air conditioning issues were fixed each time but that was not the case. I ended up taking my car elsewhere as they were so unreliable.

I had my car repaired at this location. First I was told I needed a water pump. After that was fixed, I was told I needed a serpentine belt. After the serpentine belt was replaced, I was then told that I needed a crank pulley. Almost $800 later, I picked up my car. There was some shaking which was one of the reasons that I initially brought the car in for service. In addition, the car was filthy inside from oil (the steering wheel cover, car mat, and the door). I called and spoke with the manager. After the conversation that I had with him, Im still wondering how he obtained his position as a manager. He did not apologize not one time. All he did was point fingers at his employees. As a manager, you should apologize and do what you can to resolve the matter.I dropped my car off again today. They call me to tell me that they have to do diagnostics and its going to cost $90!!! Why should I have to pay for diagnostics when my car was just there and still having the same problem?!! They already took $800 from me and gave me back my car unfixed. I dont know what type of business these people are running. This place sucks!!! I will never get my car serviced here again, and I will make sure all my friends and family stay away from this place. They are a bunch of rip-offs. In the process of fixing one thing, they break something else. They have a bunch of idiots working there. Im no mechanic but I think I can do a better job. Next time I will fix my own car!!
