I was at the vet next door and when I went to leave, my car wouldnt start. Joe came over to take a look and explained I needed a new battery. He ordered it up, had it delivered in about an hour. Five minutes later, I was on my way home. I would definitely recommend. Knowledgeable, affordable, and unbelievably fast service!

You will not find a better mechanic. I drive a mini cooper...so something is always wrong with it. The owner diagnosed the problem in 10 min...ordered the parts..and stayed late to fix it. Saved me $$$$$$!!! Hes the absolute best!!

Community Auto Repair is in a class all by itself, Joe is a high class, very friendly, straight talking auto mechanic. Ive taking all of my vehicles there since moving to Union 2004. The best part is upfront pricing before he does anything. Ive sent all my friends and families to Joe to get work done.

Highly recommend for a used car purchase inspection. Made an appointment a few hours out and about they made room to see me. Great experience! First time customer. I broke down in Union on the way to work and needed a tow. I called around to a couple local shops that did exhaust repairs. I called C.A.R. and talked to Joe. He was pleasant, polite, and very professional. When I arrived with my car he had it on the lift within a few minutes. He invited me to look under the car with him. He pointed out the exact components I would need to replace. He quoted me a price. He offered me a loaner car which I didnt need.They delivered the parts that evening and my car was ready the following morning at 7 am. Breaking down on the way to work was not fun. Joe turned out to be a genuinely nice guy and made the experience not as bad as it otherwise could have been.

I came in for my AC early morning and he had it done within a few hours. Everything was straightforward and well explained, will be going back.

This shop has by far been the best experience yet for me when it comes to repairing my car. I have an SLK350 and they did not rip me off or make me spend unnecessary time and money which everyone else has done. The owner is professional and a very honest man. I would recommend using this shop for any kind of car or repair. Avoid going to dealerships or specialist. This guy knows his stuff and is much more honest as well as great in price.

Been going to Joe & the guys at Community Auto since I bought my first car (2005, I think...?), and my Mas taken her cars there for as long as I can remember...Always straightforward, fair, and most importantly-- the jobs done RIGHT.

Honest and customer friendly. They charge a little more than the local discount places, but they dont try to rip you off on other stuff. Will go here as long as a live in Union.
