How is this even possible? Husband ordered a 1/8 sheet, white birthday cake. When he went to pick it up, there was no cake. So he picked out a chocolate 1/4 sheet cake instead. Birthday girl doesnt like chocolate cake. Ordered another cake. White 1/4 cake with whipped icing. Instead, we were given a 1/8 sheet cake, marble with creamed icing. If you are depending on a certain cake, I suggest you make it yourself, or order from a reliable vendor.

Was happy to be able to give 3 stars, usually only 2. Store was clean, and stocked well. Lines were 5 to 6 people in the 3 they had open, need to open more registers..

I have always considered Giant Eagle a little too pricey. Because it is.If you purchase the same item at Giant Eagle and Walmart you will realize how much more money you are spending at the Eagle.And, fact, i bought a whole chicken at Giant Eagle about 2 years ago and when I cut the chicken into pieces at home, there was a CELL PHONE BATTERY inside of the chest cavity.

In and out, found the few items I was looking for, and a delicious chicken pot pie while visiting my family in PA. My grocery store of choice in SW PA

Sweet lady who waited on me at the deli. The bakery was loaded with treats for desert! Fast check-out and easy access just off of Rt 51. This is a good place to run in and grab a few things and be on your way quickly.

I shop at this location frequently. Some food items are pricey compared to other places but things like name brand baby diapers for example are cheaper here than anywhere else so it evens out! Employees are always helpful and polite

I use the pharmacy they always have my medicine ready if theres an issue the pharmacist comes from behind her counter to talk with me so I like the pharmacy there

Hate to let it out but the campie tomatoes are the best tasting store tomatoes I have found small but really tasty

**Edited review**I have recently visited this store, and it has completely changed. Gone are the days of independent brands and hard to find items. The prices are so very high now compared to before. I do like their meat department, but I will probably only visit here for the lottery machine in the future.When I lived in Uniontown, this was my favorite place to shop. I have since moved out of the area, and I miss this store and the food varieties they carry. When I come back home to visit I always stop in for nostalgic purposes.

Nice place, clean has most of everything in stock. Need more baggers to help when checking out though. People are making less trips to the market but buying more when they do go. Thanks to the cashier for the patience checking me out and young man who helped me with my second cart to my truck.

Just a regular modern super market. Pharmacy but doesnt sell any alcohol. It is clean. Parking is on a slant so I wouldnt recommend the store in wintry weather or for people with mobility issues.

Older Cashier Kenny unfriendly and Rude,I travel for work to many towns, cities etc... and like to grab something to buy to eat every night in my hotel room. I dont have a discount savings card or whatever for every grocery store I go to in each city. 99% of the time when the cashier asks for my card I tell them I dont live in that city and dont have one for that particular brand of store so they just key in one so I can get the discount as if I had that stores Discount card. Well the cashier Kenny was first of all very unfriendly and when I told him I lived out of state and didnt have a card and if could help me out all he did was point and say I need to get one there and acted like I was Lying to him.

Very well stocked supermarket with a variety of merchandise. It is conveniently located near the freeway exit and near the local Get Go station, making it relatively easy to redeem Fuel Perks. I recommend this store for both full shopping trips and quick trips that qualify for the express register.

Produce is the best around. Same can be said for the fresh fish and meat department. Do all our grocery shopping there.

What more can be said about the Eagle except good store to shop!!

Disgusted with this store...My son received a gift certificate for a Ham as a Christmas gift from his employer. This is his first year with this company and it was a very generous gift. We went to use it and did not realize it expired before Christmas! Very disappointed that they would not redeem it or give him atleast a different ham. Will not shop there ever again! Very disappointed!

Used to work for this company but it is an amazing store, well organized has almost any and everything you are looking for. Customer service is great and they have fair process and good weekly deals. Wish they had a birds nest(daycare) at this location though

Our local Giant Eagle is great. Everyone is friendly and helpful there. Most of the employees have been there for years, even the newer employees are courteous. There is one that talks about all the customers but I avoid her because I like all the others. Also, everything is always really fresh.

I absolutely love giant eagle always have theyve got a little bit of every thing and the employees are always friendly. I have kids so we love the treat card. The sales are great and the gas points add up fast. You may pay a little bit more for everyday items but its totally worth it to avoid going to walmart.

Giant Eagle brings to Uniontown the selection and variety that youd find in a larger city. As someone who has 16 food allergies I can find specialty products here without paying out the wazoo for them. Great place for anyone with a specific dietary restriction, or anyone looking for a new unique food to try.

Pretty good selection, not always the most friendly staff though. Overall I think its a fairly good store with a decent variety. Consisting of fresh produce, a deli market, a flowers selection, Somerset Trust Co. Bank, a pharmacy and all of your basic necessities 😊

Workers are overall rude and not customer friendly. They usually have what I need. Thats the only reason I shop there. If I had a choice it wouldnt be Giant Eagle.

The sales are really good. The pharmacy is outstanding. The pharmacist takes his time to listen. All the staff there are always really nice.

Deli is great, workers are sharp & respectful. Bakery is the same way! Im in this store 2 or 3 times a week and its always clean and well stocked throu out. The Managers​ are always walking the floor cheeking that shelves are being stocked properly and the store is clean.

I usually shop at Giant Eagle weekly due to their variety of foods as well as fresher produce and fresher meat. Though, lately I have been getting produce that does not even last the week and meats that go bad in the FREEZER after 2 days! I am a college student, and I would shop at Walmart right down the road if I wanted food that goes bad this quickly! I also have not been getting any coupons lately anytime I shop, and was extremely disheartened at the removal of their self checkout lines! Giant Eagle Uniontown went from being my favorite place to shop to being my last resort shopping trip! I certainly hope that they get fresher foods back in those aisles sometime soon!

Was kicked out of the 12 items or less line for having 20 items. There was nobody else in line anywhere. Rustled my jimmies so bad that I left all of my stuff there and went to shopnsave. Now instead of taking an extra 30 seconds to scan a few extra items you will have to spend 40 minutes putting all of my stuff back. I watch people go through this line every time I come here with more than 12 items. I have never seen anyone else get called out on it. Im guessing it was the color of my skin.

The very worst pharmacy in Fayette County. Pharmacist Nicole acts like she owns the pharmacy and her & her staff are horrible to paying customers. I was verbally attacked in a vicious manner by 2 different employees (Brandyn & Delores) on 3 separate occasions. Store Management. Staff & personal contacts in the store heard the attacks & saw me in tears. Not only did Nicole not reprimand either, she was involved & let it go on. When l contacted Customer Service they did nothing & had me talk to pharmacy supervisor. That guy told me Well if they do not like you why are you here? You should go elsewhwere He never reprimanded either however Brandyn was fired for attacking someone else. I may add bot Brandyn & Delores are personal friends of Nicole. Well l did go elsewhere & the pharmacy l go to is polite, professional & friendly.

Pretty good on the vegan options but I would really love to see you guys go all out on the options like the impossible burger and beyond meat. Just Egg vegan eggs would be nice. Vegan pepperoni, Field roast makes an awesome Mexican chipotle . I must admit that Daiya is probably the best cheese substitute that I know of but I would like to try others. Uniontowns vegan options are limited but I’d say Giant eagle is the best but I’d still like to see them improve.

Will not be returning i hope these lawsuits against Giant Eagle takes all of them down.

Uniontown doesnt have a really good grocery store-- I lived near Whole Foods and Trader Joes in Pittsburgh and miss them a lot. This is the best option in town for variety. Choices arent great and prices are a bit higher than the other local stores, but it is the oasis in the Fayette food desert.

I go mainly for the pharmacy. They also have a good variety of foods for being a smaller store. Definitely recommended.

Nice grocery store. I dont go here often but I heard that if you get a store card (free) you can earn gas points, and points for other free things at Get N Go which is their convenience store.

Although the Uniontown Giant Eagle web site says they are open at 6 am for the elderly, they are not. 40 cars were waitIng at 6am, but the store did not open until 7. The people who had been waiting gathered to get in, and the manager made a rude comment about social distancing. I am very disappointed in Giant Eagle

Used to love the Uniontown Giant Eagle but theyre selection has gone down hill. They do still have the best selection of meat around.

Watch you dont get overcharged and bags are very thin and break open easily, however they need to start double bagging heavy items mainly, and dont stuff everything in one bag.

Giant Eagle is my personal favorite Grocery Store. I love everything about this place but above all; the chicken. My God, the chicken! KFC has nothing on this.
