My husband and I were desperately needing to move our things into a storage unit as soon as possible. After reserving a unit online and realizing it was going to be way to small for our things. The owner was able to help us find a unit that suit our needs. They were so kind and helpful. I am so glad I went to their store.

Fast and easy! I rented my unit online. When I got there, Bruce was extremely helpful in helping me find my unit. He showed me how the doors worked and even got a flat cart for me to load boxed on tho take to my unit. Very good experience. Definitely recommend!!

I am surprised that there are good reviews for this place. I wonder if this google review is for the correct location the one located on Meadowland. I stored by stuff here just for 2 months and had rats galore. I lost everything I owned and management could care less.

Just the fact that he took the time to call and speak with means a lot from a business who takes pride in what they offer and truly care about their customers. He mentioned that he would look into assisting with my concern and get back with me.Originally I chose this storage because of location and pricing, but a few months ago the price went up with minimal confusing explanation. I did not dispute because I was too busy, it was just from one month to the next.

Its a run of the mill storage not a high end public storage. Not sure if they really do pest control either cause we did experience a high amount of rodent droppings in our unit and damage to some goods in boxes cause of that. If you have things of value I’d probably not choose this location as it isn’t a climate controlled facility.

Awesome location, just off 1604 south, 1st exit after Kitty Hawk. Great deal price wise. Caught a 1/2 off deal, and month to month.Ask for Bruce this guy is very good. Boxes and moving supplies at the office if you run out. Lights and Cameras everywhere.

Moved into a unit mid February paying $64 per month. We just received notice the rate is increasing to $80 per month starting August 1st. Any place that increases rates so quickly by so much is not the place for us. We scheduled our move out.

Bruce made the move in easy. Price was right!

I have been at this Universal City Public Storage facility for over 11 years. Since I have been there they have changed managers only twice. Currently, Bruce is the manager. The changes that Public Storage has made to the property are good. They have eliminated people from abusing the trash dumpster, painted the buildings, gave the ashpalt a new coating and made sure that during the night hours everything is visible. I contribute this to Bruce and his take charge management attitude. He is very easy to talk with and answers all your questions in such a way you can easily understand. This facility is located in Universal City off of 1604 & Meadow Land Drive. 78148. Bruce and his staff are always nice and attentive to their customers. Public Storage has a great man working for them. I would recommend this facility to anyone who asks where to go for storage. Thanks Bruce.

Wonderful service! Just see Bruce. Anytime I ever need a storage I go directly to him. The units are always nice and clean with high ceilings so you can stack lots of your belongings inside with no worry of theft. Never had any issues with damage so I cant comment on that other to say EXCELLENT JOB!

I had my furniture in this location for about 4 years. They have great storage units when i finally went back for everything ..my furniture was still in the same condition as the first day. The manager in this location is very kind and helpful. This location is quiet and has great lighting outside.

I tend to wait until the last minute to do things and nothing changed while I was looking for a storage facility. I was able to make my reservation online for a climate controlled unit. When I called to confirm, the associate was very professional and helpful. I had a moving company with me when I moved in later that day and he let them begin loading my things into storage while we started the paperwork in the office. That was a big help since they were being paid by the hour! I would happily recommend Public Storage in Universal City for all your storage needs!

This place is not a secure place. There are no surveillance cameras along the rental isles. Your units are open to criminal activity because criminals know that information. A family member was a victim of robbery to his unit. There was no video surveillance to capture the perpetrators. The company has surveillance cameras only to the office and entry point. Their surveillance also only has a 7 day memory. After 7 days, it deletes all video and thereof any criminal activity. From that, you do not have any chance to a case, or identifying the criminals. I also found out from the office, is that Universal City Police do not bother reviewing video concerning theft. So, that right there lets you know that this place is Highly not recommended.

Lupe was so wonderful. I explained to her i only need a unit for a few months to store furniture for my new apartment. She helped me find the right size and talked to me about the climate control units. I will definitely come back if shes there!
