They destroyed my laptop, causing it to burst into flames (see photo). I brought my Mac laptop in for a battery change and when they opened it they said that the machine burst into flames. They said this sometimes happens, but I called Cornice, an official Mac repair shop, and they said that Apple has strict protocols that repair shops should follow in order to prevent ignition of the batteries, and clearly Computer Solutions did not follow them. They called me up and basically told me sorry we burnt your computer. No offer for any compensation or anything, except an offer to help transfer the files to another computer (whoop-de-doo). I dont understand how they can look themselves in the eye and call themselves a repair shop or believe they are doing anything of ethical value. I should have known because there was a red flag when I dropped off the laptop: they ran some diagnostic program to see if there was anything they could find to suggest other issues besides the battery and she came back with a report on the screen that showed two disk drives.She pointed out that there were a few minor errors on one of the drives, but I only have one drive and the drive with the error was obviously the flash drive she inserted into the laptop that contained the diagnostic program!!! Sheer incompetence. Never again. Will only go to official authorized Mac dealers from now on. I should have taken them to small claims court, but maybe Id have gotten $1000 and not worth the time, effort, and attorneys fees, plus they could just try to hide behind the signed service order agreement that said I wouldnt hold them at fault for anything that went wrong. Not worth the effort, but definitely worth me warning the community not to go there. FYI I am a professor at CSUSB, not a bot or a competitor. this is a real review.UPDATE to manager comment: this was 11 months ago but the details are not blurry at all, and my delay in this review changes nothing material to the situation. No one ever offered to replace the computer for me or to compensate me for the value of the computer, only to transfer the files from the recovered hard drive and refund the minimal deposit for the repair. The store rep callously suggested that I could try to sell the recovered parts, presumably on eBay or Craigslist, which is a non-solution. My priority at the time was getting back to work on a pressing deadline using a backup computer, not investing time and energy arguing with a repair shop, so I chose not to press the issue, particularly because it seemed clear to me that they were not interested in the only thing that mattered: compensating me for the computer they destroyed.

Thank you CS of Upland, took my laptop to them because is was just so slow booting up drove me crazy. They cleaned it and added an ssd card and wow what a difference...love using my laptop again. Good pricing, quick turnaround and professional.

Do it all Computer stores have always been a little cringey to me. I’m not talking Geek Squad level cringe, but just a little...I had a great experience at Computer Solutions on Monte Vista ave. Just below Foothill.I had a couple problems trying to complete a task. The guy working there helped me beat a submission-deadline. I offered to pay for his expertise but he declined. Try that with the Geek Squad. The small business center has some excellent restaurants and a couple fast food joints. 5 Stars for all of it. Check it out next time.

Their tech, Shad, did a great job resolving problems connecting our new Orbi WiFi system to our ISP. He was patient and professional and was able to figure out the glitch on their end. We love having strong WiFi in every room of our house for the first time. Thanks, Shad!

On Monday I was looking for a key cap to my MacBook air and called Computer Solutions, one of the several computer repair shops, in my area. When I got a message encouraging me to leave a message I decided not to do so and started calling other shops. As I was doing so, Najima at Computer Solutions called me and asked how she could help me. And she helped me. She asked me to show the details of my computer, checked in her storage, and the following day said she did have a cap she could help me with. Today I took my computer in and, though Najima was not in, another person helped me. Each time I called, it was clear that Computer Solutions wanted to help. They did and I am very satisfied

Had an issue with my laptop not charging, t the necessary part was ordered and the repair process was handled quickly. Only issue was that they were difficult to contact, since I found the sales floor never answered the phone and I was always directed to voicemail. At one point I missed a callback and had to leave a second voicemail about the same question. Other than that, service was quick and price was fair.

Excellent service with all my computer repairs. I just ordered a custom computer and new router through them. They came to my home and expertly installed everything. Great company, it’s hard to find a computer store in general but the fact that this place is trustworthy and has a great welcoming environment is the reason I will always come back to them. Would not recommend this place at ALL!!! Terrible experience!Back in December, I took in my laptop for a diagnosis and to get an estimate to get it repair. After a couple of days, I was informed that my laptop had a bad wire on the screen and was given an estimate. I declined the offer because the repair cost was more than what I paid for the laptop. I requested to get my laptop back and I would look somewhere else. After a couple of days CS2K called and informed me that my laptop was no longer turning on. Apparently, when putting back my laptop after the diagnosis something else broke apart from that bad wire. After back and forth calling and trying to come to a compromise, I just took my laptop that had one issue in the beginning to a laptop that wont even turn on. (FYI-they wanted to charge me $50 for the diagnosis) Take your business somewhere else.

Computer Solutions have assisted me many times over the last several years. They have worked on a couple laptops, set up my desk top, keep my virus software updated and also assisted me with several program issues. I purchased a custom desktop there many years ago, just after they opened. Took them several days to put it together, but was done when they said it would be done. Have followed them from their shop near Carls on Foothill. Then to the store across Foothill behind Del Taco and then to the new store on Arrow Rt and Monte Vista. I have purchased numerous items for several computer since. This last time my computer was making sounds like it was dying. Brought it in and $50 later and an Air Blow out and double check of the system, I picked it up after my short vacation. I had expected worse!!!!! Still a great shop for me. I have sent several friends in there too.

The staff was nice, knowlegeable, and price was good....there turn around time is fast but they do no take the time to do the job right...went there to get my Laptop screen replaced and had it back in a hour, but their was multiple areas with cosmetic damage around the screen where it appears they used a tool to try to pry it apart and now looks horrible! would recommend spending a few extra bucks somewhere else if you want your equipment to not only work correctly (which mines does) but also remain in the same cosmetic condition you gave it to them in (mine does not!)

About one week ago, (02/19/18) I started to experience that one of my desktop computers was not producing any sound/music etc. I spent three days trying to determine what went wrong with my sound system. Unfortunately, my limited knowledge proved futile. I then contacted the support group at CS2K and arrangements were made for a technician to pick-up the computer tower at my residence.When the CS2K computer technician James arrived, he and I had a brief conversation regarding the computer problem. In less than ten minutes, James was able to detect that the output cable was in the wrong position. He immediately switched the cable into the proper output position and the computer was up and running again.I must say that James wasted no time in resolving my computer problem in a relatively short time. I am convinced beyond doubt that James, just like every other CS2K technician who had previously serviced my computers, demonstrated that he too has the skills and knowledge of his job. I have work done on my various computers and purchased new devices from here in Upland, ca store . I am extremely satisfied with their professionalism,knowledge and attitude. I will never work with anybody else.

I went here to try to get the broken lcd screen replaced for my Dell laptop. Although i had already looked up the part online and it only cost $50, i decided to get a quote for them to fix it just because it would probably be easier. When i got there the guy took a quick look at my laptop and told me the screen would cost me $110 on top of a $99 service fee. Its one thing to charge for great service, but its another to do so to outrageously try to take advantage of your customers. If you dont want to get robbed, take your money elsewhere.

This repair shop is the worst... Came in here after my macbook air screen cracked. They were nice about everything, but that doesnt really excuse the fact that it took them A MONTH to replace my screen. They claimed it would only take a couple days, but ended up having to order parts from China. Mind you, this was a fairly new macbook air with screen parts being sold everywhere. Grand total for the screen replacement? $450!! (I even had to pay for the shipping from China when they should have had the parts in stock.) When I got my laptop back, the new screen itself had some cosmetic damages including a white spot and a couple faint vertical lines. On top of that, my wifi card apparently broke while it was in the shop when it was working just fine right before I brought it in. Instead of offering an explanation, they offered to replace it for an extra charge... Unbelievable. Go to any repair shop but here.
