From the moment I spoke to All Pro on the phone, the customer service was top notch. Very friendly and inviting demeanor, and clearly ready and willing to help me. They quickly quoted me a very fair price and by the end of the process, the price matched exactly to the quote. They even gave me a loaner vermicelli when my vehicle could not be finished by the end of the day. I have been going to All Pro in Urbandale for years, and their service still holds up to my expectations to this day. I had a transmission issue and communication was superior to even 4 star dealerships before many have been bought by corporate entities from Oregon. My repair was done correctly and I have had no issues with the repair.

First off - these guys are awesome. We sent the car in before shipping it off to our daughter to have them check it over. They got the oil changed and new tires put on the next day. Great Job.Also, there was a good size dent in the bumper that they took out at no charge, just because they could. The manager (im assuming) his name was james was very helpful and understanding of the situation. all pro service center originally got my car with a bad water pump and bad power steering pump and a few high pressure lines and clamps. in the past 2 months i have given all pro north of 2,800 dollars for repairs over a span of 6 visits total. on the very first visit they broke my turn signal lever cap which i paid to fix even though i knew they broke it. they claimed to have fixed the power steering pump leak 2 separate occasions which turned out to be false and i paid for multiple pressure tests (even though they were on my warranty papers). multiple instances i went to pick up my car just to return shortly with the same problems i just had previously brought the car in for and paid to have fixed. then on the very last time my car was in this shop (2 days ago) for a complete water pump replacement (which im almost positive was their fault on how they installed my water pump) and when i went to pick it up the owner patrick was there and they had done something so now my windows and robo roof does not work, frustrated i called a family member whos helping me pay for this and they called and chewed patrick out against my wishes. patrick acting very passive aggressively and rude after the phone call continued to check my fuses and determined since there was no blown fuses its not their fault despite james admitting they probably knocked something loose in the process of lifting my engine to replace my power steering pump, i showed frustration with patrick and he tried to refuse to give me receipts told me to leave and not come back, then blocked my number from the store. so here i am days after spending $850 for a power steering even though they originally said $690 and my windows stuck down my robo roof wont work and my power steering is yet again leaking. i have nothing to prove for allpros good work except a new turning signal lever and water pump out of the $2,864 ive given them these past few months. 10/10 do not recommend using allpro service centers anywhere let alone Meredith location. owner along with all mechanics at all pro are dumb founded scam artists who originally took up this deal with my grandma whos on an oxygen tank before i was involved. thanks for nothing patrick you should switch careers your bad at this one. james should take your place

My daughter was visiting from North Dakota and had some issues with her car. My husband chose All Pro Servicecenter because it was close to our house. I will admit that I was hesitant as I have had some negative experiences with car repair shops who lacked integrity.When we took the car in, James Potter greeted us and immediately put my mind at ease. He was genuine and transparent with what they would do, what they would only do with permission, and the anticipated costs for the initial repairs we knew we needed. He not only called when they started the repairs, he kept in contact with us and thoroughly explained everything that was being done with an optional repair for my daughter to choose if she wanted it done at this time, and assured her that the repair was not an immediate issue and she could make the drive back to North Dakota with confidence.When we went to pick up the car, he explained in detail the repair that was still needed so that when she is ready and financially able to make the repair, she can explain to her local repair shop what exactly is needed - James also wrote down on the receipt the repair that was needed.I was EXTREMELY impressed with the service, the communication and left with a complete feeling of trust. My husband and I will definitely take our cars to All Pro Servicecenter in the future and look forward to the great service given by James Potter and the mechanics there!

The Manager James, at the Urbandale location, was phenomenal! After having my car serviced, he went through and informed me of things I would need to do in the future. Staff is very friendly and they didn’t recommend work that didn’t need done- beware the quote they give might not include labor- I’ve never had that at any other shops so I was shocked when my charge was more than double the quote given at scheduling and again the morning of service. All they said was “oh that didn’t include labor” - would have been good to know! I guess I’ll know to ask next time.

Amazing service. Not expensive, very professional, super-clear communication... always kept us in the loop. Wanted to service an old Mercedes. These guys were amazing: better quality and 1/2 the price of dealership repair shops. I will bring ALL my cars here from now on.My wife loves these guys.

They had “missed” an obvious transmission leak, even after telling us they looked for one used UV dye. They said any issues were the result of “heavy fluid” with the shifting - NOT leaking. As a result, we ended-up doing $2,500+ of other work to make the vehicle road worthy for years to come. My wife wanted to keep this vehicle. She is rather unhappy that this has occurred. We are looking into legal options.After the various and growing list of “minor” repairs, when the issues with the transmission persisted, not even a week after the repairs were finished. This Napa then flushed and filled the transmission for $300. It was my wife’s deal, she believed in them. This however immediately failed to work.We took it some place else. We found out this was never going to work. It being recommended, it seems in hindsight, was nothing more than a money grab. The other place found the transmission leak within seconds. The exact location where Napa had said the heat shield was loose, that it was nothing. Where they said there was no leak and no transmission fluid could be found. As a result we now have the choice but to sell the vehicle at a loss, trade it at a huge loss, either of those on top of the already now spent $2800+, or fix it for an additional $3500 and accept what this place had taken from us. We would have to fix it where they found the transmission issue in seconds, there is really no other option if we go that route.But no, this is not the first time they completely failed or acted with incompetence, or ”go ahead and make you own judgement”. Because I believe they saw my wife and thought, she loves her vehicle and she seems to have an endless money supply to support it.I personally do not go to this Napa, nor almost any other. This very store I had taken a car I had wanted to buy to have it inspected. It was after this incident I am about to describe, the car that I purchased swift failure, after the purchase, that caused my warning to my wife. I had strongly advised my wife never to go here, but she insisted they must have, “just missed it...” It was a paid $180 inspection of a Honda Accord v6. I paid them because I wanted to know that I was purchasing a “good” used car.Within 4 weeks of purchase of that inspected car that it was found to have a cracked head and a warped head. Coolant and oil were mixing. It was constantly overheating. The total repair bill was thousands. I had no choice. I traded it a year later for new car and a full extended warranty. I lost more thousands to escape that deal.But the used car purchase should never have happened. They were paid to catch issues. They did not. They failed the task they were paid to do. The less than great part for me and my family is that there is no recourse for their failure. The mechanic who actually caught issue, another well established and reputable Napa not far from this one, with the heads did so without tools or diagnostic machines. He felt sorry for me, thankfully, and did not charge me because he, “knew what was coming for [me].” I told him that I had paid the Napa of this review to inspect the car, he shrugged and had nothing to say. Could have been nothing, could have meant yeah, not the first time.So, two failures down, both extremely costly for my family. Both could be explained by bad days, or incompetence, but my wife’s vehicle? No, if it is incompetence they have been very lucky to get this far. I believe they either do not care, do not pay attention, or are possibly shady.

My car broke down near their shop half way through my road trip. They were able to see me right away and went over the top to provide great customer service. Definitely recommend

He explained all of the problems they were finding and what I could expect for cost ranges. The pricing was great, and my car is much safer because of it. They got my car in and out in about a day. I needed an early morning tire replacement after hitting some road debris on the interstate. The shop was not even officially open yet. I was welcomed in and assisted immediately. The service was quick, efficient and personable. I was back on the road within a short amount of time (and they are not even a tire shop)!

My wife had a flat tire while traveling I-35 / I-80 around Des Moines last night. Before she could find an exit, the tire was in shreds. So I was at All-Pro Service Center at 7:30 this morning talking to James about purchasing four new tires for her car. He was very helpful, and gave me a couple of estimates on two different tire brands. When asked, he then advised me on which he would chose based on performance. Then James ordered the tire of my choice, and had my wifes car back to us by the middle of the afternoon. Excellent communication and customer service! Good prices also.

I brought my truck in for engine issues. They tried everything to get it fixed. Ended up needing to be replaced. Called me everyday if not twice to give me an update was on time and on budget. Ill continue to use them for my vehicle repairs.

We have been a customer of All Pro Servicenter on Meredith Dr for many years. Always have had excellent experiences. They are our only “go to” shop for auto issues!

I took my car in to replace the E Vap canister. I told them what was up and didnt want the diagnostic test done, and they agreed. They went ahead and did it anyway. Charged me $114. They kept insisting that they do a tune up and wanted way too much for it. They told me the check engine light was coming on and off because it was missing. I had them send the invoice to my bank for a small loan. They tried being sneaky and adding the tuneup bill. 1,000 miles later, my car is still running great since the E Vap canister was replaced and no lights coming on. This place is out for everyones money.

Top notch service at reasonable prices!! My friend and I were passing through Iowa on our way home 4th of July weekend and his van broke down. We called AAA and they towed us to a location in West Des Moines which happened to be closed. All Pro retrieved us free of charge and had us on the road in 3 hours, despite having a full lot of cars!! The mechanics and service staff were all welcoming, warm and professional. Ive been a customer here for about 8 years, some of that time in Valley Junction and management/staff are always courteous, professional yet personable. Ive always had an older vehicle so its not like I only go to get my oil changed once every three months either! Today they gave an estimate for a repair and upon completion called to say it was completed but also $75 less than expected. Im sure they couldve simply stuck with the original estimate and I wouldnt have known any better, but this proves they are an ethical business. Thanks All-Pro!

This place is overpriced and completely dishonest in what they say needs fixed. I previously had a positive review as they gave me a discount for putting up a positive review. It has been about a year and a half since then but the end service I received was not good. They replaced the parking break cable in my car and it stopped working after a few days. I was too busy to deal with it at the time so I ended up taking my car elsewhere.

The shop is very dishonest and incompetent. their repair price is ridiculous high. I brought my car in for a fluid leaking and noise problem. I was told there is diagnose fee, but the fee can be credited to the repair cost finally. the result? firstly, they claimed the noise was caused by power steering fluid leaking because they added more fluid and the noise was gone. secondly. they asked me to pay extra $50 diagnosis fee afterI asked them to schedule an appointment for repair. the guy in front desk told me they charged me because they took care of their customer. I almost throw up when I heard it. What they really care is $$$$. after I picked up my card and drove for 5 minutes, the noise came out again. also their repair quote is 50% higher than another car repair shop. I will never go to this shop. if you take look at 5 star positive reviews, most were left by anonymous users two years ago, I think it is very suspicious. Shop around and do not fooled by some misleading google reviews
