The staff and owner are absolutely AMAZING! Everyone is so nice, and the items are always at a reasonable price. Certainly not your typical consignment store; much BETTER!

Great hidden gem in Des Moines!

They had a great assortment of things to choose from and everything was very classy

We have both sold on consignment and purchased furniture and accessories for about 5 years now. New Owner is very friendly although priced our recent consigned items a bit lower than we had hoped for! I would say this is a much better shop to PURCHASE from than to CONSIGN with. The challenge for the new Owner will be attracting and maintaining a great selection of Furniture and Accessories with Her low selling prices! Overall I would recommend this Shop especially if you are looking to PURCHASE unique, higher quality Furniture and Accessories for cheap prices!

Its clear that this store has a specific taste which might be for others but not for me. (There were some rare finds)What turned me off immediately, is that upon entering, I was not greeted by staff. Who was actually near the front of the store, talking with another guest. I managed to walk the entirety of the store without a single word uttered to me, which was a total of 5 minutes.Even when leaving, staff did not look up at me once or thank me for visiting.

Bought two pieces from this place... Decently happy with the first, VERY unhappy about the second. The first was a beautiful king size bed which was overpriced (could find it elsewhere for cheaper when it was used! When I asked her about it she said Well the consignor gets only 40% which hey, when youre consigning something youre not going to get the full value of it!) but once I got it home I loved it so no regrets there. The second piece was a rug that was quite large and listed on their tag as wool which I specifically bought for that reason since my dog sheds so much. I get it home and unroll it and the original tag on it says it is made out of nylon. When I called the store they really didnt care and said theyd check with the consignor about a price change and just never called me back.Basically just have two pieces of advice for this place. 1. Check their prices, they think that just because something was originally worth a certain amount that they can sell it for that much and 2. Beware of FALSE ADVERTISING because that is exactly what they wool rug issue was. If you dont know what it is, dont put it on your tag!

Knowledgeable and welcoming staff. High quality selection of furniture. We went during their anniversary sale and got an excellent dining set at a very reasonable price. In addition to helping me load the pieces, the staff went the extra mile in covering the chairs so they wouldnt get scuffed in transit.

Great stop if you are looking for second had furniture, art, etc. A lot of variety and inventory is constantly changing. I didnt give it 5 stars as I felt the majority was overprice though.

Changing places thrift shop is a great place to look for a unique piece of furniture or accessories for your home they have newer and older pieces so you can match your current Decore prices are very fair. They also take items on consignment to make a few dollars of your own and they are in a great location give them a try sometime you’ll like it. Lots to look through.

Gave them 3 tries to see about consigning wool rugs with them. They act as though they dont need customers. Would not deal with them for anything; I would rather give all of my items to Salvation Army than deal with these non-business people snobs.
