Five stars for a hardware store?? You better believe it, this place is awesome. AWESOME! The only place Ive seen like this was Strassers Hardware in Kansas City and I think theyre closed now. Take a list and go exploring, so conveniently located as well. Our new go-to hardware store.

The ladies behind the register are a bit rude and unhelpful, especially the older lady with the pierced nose. The other staff on the floor was nice and friendly.

I never have a hard time getting help finding what I need. They also sell a lot of unique things that you cant find another places. And everybody is so helpful that works there.😊

My first visit, very impressive. Very large store with a wide selection of items. Easy check out with about six cashiers. Many employees to help customers. One of the best Ace hardware stores I have ever visited. Definitely will return.

Good store, been there lots of times for various hardware items . A little bit more than home depot or Lowes but its right in the middle of town instead of driving across town so you pay a little bit more.

I just love this place....I went today for a shower hose and look at ther country clutter section.... lone behold I got my shower hose and a fish for the yard..! sales man were happy and eagar to help, which was most appreciated! Happy in Santa Rosa😊

This hardware store is much larger indeed than it looks from the outside. You cant get lost but you can get turned around with the different wings. Every employee was very helpful and knowledgeable. I wish I lived closer because this place is awesome.

A fixture in downtown Vacaville. Every time I let my dog lead the way on a walk, they go straight to Pacific Hardware because they welcome dogs and they even have treats for them behind the counter. Very helpful employees and great selection.

Ace truly is the place... I found my part only at Ace. A staff member assisted me and found my item in less than two minutes. Both items combined cost was less than $1.00. I went to purchase and the employee at the check out saw the price and waved me by. I couldnt believe it! Wow! Ive never met an employee there who was too busy to help me.

Always awesome ... Went to purchase 2 - 1/2 Compression Bib Valves for the House, and they were out of stock. They will receive stock delivery in 3 days, so the Associate placed them on reserve in my name for pick-up then.Bottom line is if they dont have those odd items (and more) in stock for your purchase, they will get it ! And there is always someone there to direct or assist you !

I like Ace, i find a lot of neat things here, but a lot of the times I dont find what I actually came for - they wont have it. They also seem to be extremely over staffed. Theres two employees standing there every time you turn around. Why do they need 30+ employees working at a time?! Makes no sense but 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I would easily have rated Ace Hardware in Vacaville as a 5...pre-pandemic. I went today and most employees wore their masks incorrectly (it goes over the nose...) or not at all. Many customers saw the example and dropped their masks too.They wont miss me, but I certainly wont be back for a while.

Anyone that lives in Vacaville can tell you that the people that work at Ace are the friendliest and most helpful people in any Vacaville hardware store.

One of the great old school hardware stores. Staffed by people who both know the store and understand what youre doing. Also a lot of product you wont find in the big box stores.

If you cant find it here, you probably dont need it. Do yourself a favor and carv out a few hours to go and walk around, you are going to find everything you didnt know that you needed for the house. The associates that work there are really nice and seem to know more about what you are doing than you ever will, but they dont make you feel dumb, it is kind of like having your granddad talk you through a project...and most of the time when you gp back you can find the same person to help you out.....great place

I went in this morning with a list of various screws and such that I needed for a table project and Tim happened to be walking by. He offered to help and I explained I needed a lot of help. Without batting an eye, he happily assisted me and definitely knew what I needed without a second thought. I will definitely be returning with any business I can give them!

I go to ACE for everything I can! I can walk in and give a bad description of what I need, or show them the broken item and they take me right where I need to go to find a replacement. Staff members are also friendly, and helpful, Ive never had a bad experience at Vacaville ACE.
