My family and I have been coming here for years, further back than I can remember. This is the ONLY shop we take our vehicles to for service and repairs. Any time weve gone somewhere else, its been a disaster (looking at you, Ford dealership). I recommend them to all my friends and coworkers. Its a bit of a drive if you live in the city but its worth it, every time.

Awesome experience! Had a pigtail go bad behind the climate control module, preventing me from blowing my A/C. Alex was able to get me in pretty quickly and get it resolved. I have a functioning fan woohoo!!!

Had my tires rotated and balanced. Started hearing a noise on the front passenger side and took the plastic hub off to check it out. One lug nut was completely off the stud rolling around in the plastic hub cap, 2 were so loose I could turn them with my fingers, and 1 was hardly tight. There was only one tight lug nut on the entire wheel.

Ive been to this shop numerous times, I had nothing but good things to say. On this last visit, I was have trouble with my car cutting off, they did a diagnostic and couldnt find anything wrong, so I asked them to check the reservoir, then all of a sudden they say I blew a gasket, charging over two thousand dollars. I get the car home just for it to continue to cut off. I contacted them, to know avail, they were no help. The car never showed any signs of running hot, I feel my money was stolen with nothing to show for besides a car sitting in the yard not working. They arent trying to resolve the issue at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The owner Alex told me the smell in my car was from an issue in the engine which he charged over 400 dollars to correct. When the smell persisted he told us it was because we needed over 600 in more work done. As I was awaiting a new car to arrive I had no interested in doing further repairs. Alex assured me my car was safe to drive as is that the AC simply would work and should not be run. I have a small child and I had a belt break and the power steering went out. When I called and told him, he told me that he and his staff thought I was rude and that he told me whatever he had to so that I would leave his shop and that it wasn’t his responsibility to ensure my vehicle was safe to drive. If I could give them zero stars I would. What if I had been on the interstate when that happened?! He is careless and unprofessional!

Then I had a problem when my truck just shut off while going to work on a Friday and no rental car was available for the weekend and they loaned me a ride till I could get a rental and they had my truck ready in just two days. I was doubting at first because I took my truck in for the a/c to be fixed and the first time it didnt get fixed so we put it back in. Then the next time they fixed it but i had break light problems. I took it back several times and was well pleased with my outcome. Even though I had some issues in the beginning Alex fixed everything that was wrong due to something that was done prior at no cost. Most mechanics wont do that so I feel like he is an honest person and I would definitely go back. Thanks for all yall did in fixing my truck!!

Honest, hard working family owned automotive repair shop. When you walk into the office it is very clean and organized. The shop is cleaner than most dealerships. Went here to get a leveling kit and new tire/wheels installed. If/when any questions or concerns came up they always called me and doubled checked with me.

I highly recommend this shop! All employees were super nice and they are military friendly. I had to bring my bmw here after a bad experience with another mechanic in town. Ive used several different shops around town, but these guys beat them all. Alex and his wife are always super friendly. Theyre trustworthy, and are affordable. I wont ever take my vehicle anywhere else.

I had Alex repair my rear differential bushings on my E46. For any car guys out there, you know this is a time consuming task that can be a huge pain. I came in there and asked directly how much it would cost and how long it would take and was given a very fair price. I took this quote and even compared it to other shops, manuals, and online forums and it all checked out.Since this repair can take up to 6 hours, I asked to drop it off the evening before and my car was done the very next day. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews here.. I was provided professional service at a very fair price.

Definitely recommend this shop for any auto work. Spoke to my co-workers about going to another shop I had previously rated but they insisted I try A&M and I don’t regret going to this place. They provided an honest price and explained what they did with which part they ordered from.

If I could give 0 stars to this establishment I would. They didnt diagnose my car, did not fix my car correctly the first time. I was told they would call before the work was done. They didnt. They also now tell me I have to pay by cash which was not part of the agreement and the establishment says cards are acceptable and we paid for the original issue with a card. They are now holding my car hostage since I planned on paying by card. I also told them that I would be out of town. And suddenly he wants to charge me for leaving my car there when they were advised ahead of time. Alex and his wife are nitntrust worthy, rude and disrespectful. I would rather take my car to anyone else then this shop. I am afraid of the car not working correctly and having to pay more since they are crooks. Think before bringing you car here. If you want to be treated terribly and waste time and money this is the shop for you.

If you use a credit cards they charge you the percentage. I probably wont be back so that last $2.70 they charged me probably cost a lot more than they realize

1 star is a rating the should not get. I initially brought my car in May of 2018 for new front brakes and rotors. They replaced them (so they say). In August of 2018 I took my car back because I had vibration in my steering wheel, they said it was my back brakes and rotors so I had those replaced as well. The day I got my car back the vibration was still there which mean they didn’t test drive my car before they gave it back to me. Alex stated then that my back rotors needed to be turned. In January of 2019 I took my car to Valdosta Toyota Scion bc I was having the same vibration. Once my car was inspected they told me my rotors were not new and the shimes on my brake pads were slipping. I then called A & M auto and spoke with the owner Alex, he stated I needed to bring the car back to them, I then told him why would I bring it back when I’m having the same problem and it wasn’t fixed correctly the first time. I also asked him what was the total price I paid for all my services and he refused to give me that price. He said that’s what receipts are for. So basically no parts on my vehicle are new even tho they charged me for new parts. Now I’m having to pay twice for something that was suppose to be done. I even have pictures where you can see the parts are not new! This place will NRVER get my business EVER again. They are a big rip off, unprofessional and janky.

Alex is the most honest and giving auto mechanic with which Ive ever worked. He consistently shows his honesty by passing up opportunities to do work that is not required. How many other mechanics would turn down the opportunity to redo brakes or replace fan belts based on saying they were squeaky, and instead describe the source of the problem and assurance that all is well ... and then charge nothing for looking? Do be sure to take a book or 3G connected device, as the waiting room is sparse, dingy and offers no Wi-Fi. Other than that, I highly recommend A&M Auto to anyone looking for an honest and hard working mechanic.

Is the cheapest and most knowledgeable mechanic in Valdosta! Im a former Military mechanic (who is tooo lazy to do certain work on his own cars & trucks). Never felt cheated, treated wrong, or felt shorted by this shop! called around for charges and most everyone wanted 200+ more for simple jobs! Like Alternator changes, Starters, and CV axle changes!Call around if you dont believe me. The above should be no more than 200+ with parts and labor.

Took 5 1/2 hours to tell me what they thought was wrong wiyh my car.( someone tried to steal my car and shoved a screw driver in the ignition. ) It took another 7 1/2 hours to fix it and now there are wires dangling under my dashboard and the horn doesnt work!The owner called me after this was posted and I asked if any of what I wrote here was incorrect and he avoided the subject all together telling me I had called him 20 times keeping him from working on the car. We called 4 times, once friday to let him know the car was coming. Twice monday first to ask if they had syarted working on my car and then after 4 PM to see if they had a diagnosis which they said they were still looking at it) and then one final time mid morning tuesday. If you do a half assed job on my car people will find out about it. I have another mechanic looking at my car now and am getting a price comparison for the job that was done.

Never had a problem with any vehicle these guys couldnt fix. Chevrolet. Gmc. Toyota. Ford. Theyve done it all for me. Alex and Alecia and the staff fix it right, the first time, and more importantly they dont RIP YOU OFF.

My Jeeps rear brakes were dangerously low, and my vehicle was to the point where I felt it was unsafe. I am a DIY guy, but at this point in my life know when I am getting in over my head on in home repairs. I started to disassemble the brakes at home, when upon removing my left rear drum, multiple springs and retaining clips that had failed fell out of the rear. I immediately called these guys.Long story short, my cherokee needed a complete overhaul to include lines, and this was handled, and I was kept up to date and notified immediately if something else noted was need to be replaced or going to cost more than originally agreed upon.I have lived here for 6 years, and sent many other satisfied customers to A & M. I highly recommend them. They are very thorough, and extremely nice and honest. VERY hard to find in garages these days.
