Dr McDonald and her Staff are absolutely the Best! I recently changed Optometrist and so happy I did! If youre looking for an Optometrist I highly recommend Dr McDonald!

Ive been coming to Dr. McDonald for two years now and I absolutely love it! The staff is always incredible. Last year I got a great deal on glasses. I just got done with my yearly check up today and didnt need new ones, but was to know my eyes did change a little and may need some in the future. I highly recommend Dr. McDonald. I feel better about my experience at North Oak Family Eye Care than I ever did at any other Eye Doctors in Valdosta.

I love Dr. McDonald she always makes you feel like you are her only patient!! Never rushes you in and out. Explains all the information thoroughly. Our whole family has been going to her for years!! She is simply the BEST!!!

I went for the first time last Friday everyone In the office was caring they treat you like a patient . I used to go to Wilson eye center but will always be a regular patient here instead . They are more complete with everything and they care it shows they take time to listen to any problems you may have and work with you fully and I wont go to anyone else thank you north oak family eye care you all are great

I enjoyed the visit. The staff was courteous and kind and Dr. MacDonald was very thorough with explaining the details of my condition.

Worst experience. Wouldn’t go back. Took over 2 months to get my glasses, left a sufficient amount of messages with no call backs, and staff is rude! Bring your glasses to you in the parking lot without even making sure they fit properly. Now they will apologize and ask where I want my records sent to. Doesn’t sound very concerned and I wouldn’t hold my breath that would be done either.

My family had a phenomenal experience with optometrist Deborah McDonald. Shes very knowledgeable and have patience with children while answering all questions and concerns they may have. My daughter and son was happy to have all their questions answered and I was please with the recommendations she gave following each answered question. The optician assistants were very knowledgeable in every area of the pre- exam and exceeded customer service expectations during the entire visit. The office also took extra precautions before and after each patient due to the pandemic. The eye care and frames are so hard to choose from due to the wide variety of selection the office has. I would highly recommend North Oak Family Eye Care Optical to all my family, friends and yes YOU!

Although it has been more then 4 months of waiting for my daughters glasses and we have yet to recieve them, Im grateful for the staff and their willing to always help! Im a little concerned about the speed of receiving the glasses but Ill countiue to be patient!

Best experience ever! Took my 7 yr old granddaughter in for her first eye exam and was so pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome, efficiency, thoroughness and complete eye exam she received! My other granddaughter had gone to Wilson’s Eyecare and North Oak Eyecare provides service that way surpasses Wilson’s! I highly recommend this Eyecare facility! You will be so pleased with Dr McDonald who is very professional and friendly, and her staff is very courteous and friendly as well.

Dr. McDonald is a very thorough and compassionate doctor who knows her customers needs and meets them with good advice and knowledgeable care. I’d recommend her to all individuals.

Took care of my kids needs .process was easy and she examined everything..even the ordering glasses process was easy.they were great.

We got there 15 minutes before our appointment and we were allowed in. Due to the pandemic they only let certain amount of people in at a time. When you arrive you call them and theyll let you in when the waiting area has a space for the allowable amount of people. Again this is for the safety of the customers and employees. Dr. Mcdonald explains everything in details and let you know what needs to be done to correct those problems. As for recomending her to others, I will because of what Proverbs 22:3 says, The shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself, But the inexperienced keep right on going and suffer the consequences. She takes every precaution for your safety and her staff.

Dr. McDonald was amazing, but unfortunately her staff was rude and not caring at all. I waited a whole month for my glasses and never received a follow up call it was always me calling asking for an update. Once I finally went to the office to talk with them they weren’t even being courteous in providing additional options to resolve the issue, which just lead me to requested a refund and left with no glasses.

Waited over 2 hours for a basic eye exam that cost $145.00, then they tried to sell me a $200.00 pair of glasses. Was paying out of pocket.

First time going to Dr Deborah my grandma, son, and I had a amazing experience.I learned a lot of new things that I didn’t know about our eyes plus more.We never to old or young to learn new things in life.

Dr. McDonald is always such a delight. She is very through and answers any questions one might have. I never feel rushed despite all this virus mess.

Im 36 years old and have been going to eye Drs and wearing glasses since I was 8. I have always had extremely poor vision, even with glasses.I assumed that was just how it would always be. 2 weeks ago I made my first eye appointment here, yesterday my glasses came in. I am amazed, for the first time in my life I can actually see crystal clear. Honestly life-changing.

Best place I have ever had an Eye exam! They listened and did a very through exam! I could not be more pleased with them!

I went to Dr McDonald back in early December for a contact exam. First, I had trouble with them trying to charge me more than what they should have because they would not go by what my insurance covered, and I have one of the best vision insurance policies.Then to add insult to injury, they never ordered my contacts, so Ive been using my trial pair for over a month.The only reason I did not give them one star is because Dr McDonald is very nice and professional.I will be going back to Wilson Eye Center from now on.

Very disrespectful staff. Unwilling to assist. Will lie quickly. Will not admit fault . They tell you the calls are recorded but will not listen to a recording. They expect for you to pay what they tell regardless if they tell you a different price before ordering. Couldnt give no stars at all.
