In the beginning Carl was very helpful. Bent over backwards to get everything done like we wanted. Then once we recieved our home 3 months after promised there were issues with it. The first couple of issues was taken care by Destiny Homes. However had we been allowed to do a walkthrough we could have saved them a lot of headaches. Our biggest issue is our shower enclosure leaks and has been attempted 6 times to correct just to still be leaking. The micro wave cabinet was not built according to our microwave dimensions and we had to settle for a microwave that was less expensive that required a trimkit which we never got. Our home was 138k and now sells for 210k. Once I gave clayton homes a rating they decided not to do anything for us. We have cracks in our drywall of which we paid an extra 3500.00 for tape and texture finish.I would not reccommend clayton homes of valdosta or Destiny homes.They will promise and guarantee(which is Carls Favorite words) everything but he would fall short. Intentions are good follow through is less than desired.

Found a home we liked on this lot and worked out a verbal with estimate deal about a year ago (9/14/19). Over the last month starting on 9/6/20. I emailed his proposal back. Called Carl Slocum three times. Twice we talked about an updated proposal/estimate. Been abouta year so who know what may have changed. Once I left a message with i assume his secretary. Sent two other emails. Still nothing in response as of 10/10/2020. Highly unprofessional.Today I signed with another company.God bless and Goodluck Carl.

Tried to purchase a home from them. Made two trips to the lot, both times leaving with a promise of more info on several models/variations. Sent emails, called. No results. Bought our home at Halls in Moultrie instead.

I have waited three days for an email to help start the pre approval process, the first day I called I spoke to a guy and he said he would email me links. I waited all day and havent received anything, called the next day and the lady took my info and said she would get with the guy I spoke with to send it to me. It is now the third day and still havent received anything. Guess I will be looking somewhere else for a home.
