Happy CX-5 customer! I had one of the great experiences with Team Mazda team, especially Kyle Gardner. He was (and is) very helpful making sure the process goes smooth. He also gave me the best rate of there for my new car. Highly highly recommended talking to them first than any other dealerships in bay area.

Outrageous and expensive work! I went there amd only for verified the issue with my car was $180, even if I would fix there, they didn’t give you a discount. The price to change the cover gasket valve and Pcv valve were over $1,083. But the worse thing is that they called me saying the parts had arrived at the dealers service and they set up my appointment two weeks after the call, so today. I drove 100 miles (one wau$ and missed one day of working to go there to fix my car! However, after almost 4 HOURS WAITING they came to say they didn’t have the parts over there, AFTER 4 HOURS they noticed they didn’t have the parts. They told me they couldn’t fix it and I would have to bring other day. Basically, I missed one say of working for their fault. Probably they gave the parts for other car. IN ADDITION,, they gave me the option to do the service other day with a similar but no the same part, and I will have to miss another, what a messed and horrible service. I DO MOT RECOMMEND THEM less than one star

We were so pleased to work with Kai Mendoza from Team Mazda. She was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. Were extremely happy with our Mazda CX-9 and cant thank the team enough for their help. We were in and out of the dealership in about an hour thanks to their speed and efficiency.

This has nothing to do with the dealership but the car itself. First time buying a Mazda brand vehicle, always been driven a Toyota, Honda and Acura. I guess my choice of choosing a different brand of car was a terrible choice and just got to live with it. I bought this brand new CX-30 preferred, but right when I drove it home on the same day a message showed up LOW BATTERY RISK. START VEHICLE TO CHARGE 12V BATTERY WARNING MESSAGE. That is really concerning to me and my wife, so we Took it back to the dealership as soon as possible the next day and had to take a day off from work. All they told me is, it was normal. They did a diagnostic test to the battery and everything seems normal. Drove home, same message popped up again. A brand new car with low battery risk just doesnt seems normal to me. Read more messages online and it seems like other people who bought the same car had the same problem as well but no solutions to it. It is giving me anxiety driving it out and not knowing if the battery will die when and where. A brand new car should not be giving me anxiety like this, I feel like Im stuck now.

Team Mazda was one of the only dealerships we could find that has not added a market adjustment due to low inventory. They instead honored a Costco discount and a rebate. I consider this good business instead of the short sighted dealerships that have decided to add $2K-5K cost on a vehicle with no added value on their part.Mortissa helped us test drive multiple models of the CX-5 to compare and Shawn did a search to find options for us on other lots if we wanted other trims that were not at this location. They were friendly and never pushy.They have won my loyalty and I will do what I can to use them on my next purchase.

My first time purchasing a brand new vehicle, and the staff here couldnt have made the process any more easier for me! Shawn Oliver helped me with my Mazda purchase and was very knowledgeable about the different Mazda models I was comparing. No pressure whatsoever and was able to answer all my questions about the vehicle. Shawn also went above and beyond by cleaning my vehicle after-hours himself (the financing paperwork ran late and the detailing staff left for the day). Highly recommend this dealership if you want a pressure-free experience with friendly employees!

Id like to start by saying this was the best car buying experience Ive ever had. I recently purchased a 2021 Mazda 3 AWD Turbo from Team. Mortissa came down from the main Team building and almost literally walked the extra mile for us. She was extremely pleasant from the start, very informative, and would do her best to find an answer regardless of the question. She did a wonderful job of showing us where the lounge, service department, cashier, and all of the areas you need to know within the dealership. She also made sure to ask if we were thirsty or needed a snack. Javier in finance helped me more than I could ever have imagined. Words cant really express the gratitude I have. Also a big thank you to Chandler, who after my purchase sat down in the car with me and went through step-by-step how to connect my phone, how to find and change all of the options that were available and answered any other questions I had. Had mechanic look at car due to occasional stiff shifting into 1st (manual). Told I needed new clutch. Only 35k miles on car. Clutch would be over $2500 here. I declined. Clutch is fine now10k miles no problem and my regular mechanic says clutch is fine & should last at least another 100k milesGo figure. They seem nice & polite but would not trust their diagnosis.j

I would give them a zero if at all possible! Their parts staff is absolutely rude and standoffish. I needed parts and they were not interested in helping me whatsoever since they dont deliver outside of Vallejo. I can clearly see why Mazda is struggling, with this kind of customer service I dont see how they can stay in business!

This is solely regarding the service center. I had tried to make an appointment at the Santa Rosa Mazda service center for a while, but they seem to always be three weeks out. I was able to make a reservation online, on my phone, in a matter of moments for Mazda of Vallejo. I showed up a few minutes late, and Shyanne could NOT have been more kind, more accommodating or more professional. She was very sweet, smile on her face the entire time, provided efficient service, took the time to explain things to me and made the entire experience way better than I had anticipated. Everyone I encountered was very accommodating and pleasant, but Shyanne, specifically, was excellent!!!!

If you want to spend hours and hours at the dealership haggling prices when buying a car, DONT come here!If you value your time and just want to spend 72 minutes in-and-out with a brand new car, Team Mazda is the place! I was in and out of the dealership within 72 minutes with a brand new car. I was extremely pleased with my buying experience and you will be too!I contacted them via email and they responded fairly quickly. We negotiated a price for a specific car (online) and came in for a test drive. When we arrived at the dealership, the car was cleaned, ready to go. Salesperson was extremely knowledgeable and very courteous. After test drive, we walked inside the dealership and .... paperwork was ready with the price that we negotiated online, with no hidden charges!This by far is the smoothest car transaction I have ever had in my whole life!

I had one of the most seamless and hospitable experiences leasing a new 2019 Mazda CX5 and this is thanks in large part to the skills and attentiveness of Terry Moy and team. The salesman, Billy, knew the car inside and out and had a great test drive route planned out. With his guidance I was able to really get to know the car. Also, he took me at my word that I still had more research and test driving to do and did not do high pressure tactics, just simply gave me his contact. Plus hes a pit bull lover and was very kind to our dogs. He was best of breed for this line of work.

I dont normally write reviews but I felt the need to do one for this dealership. Just recently purchased a Mazda CX-9 and had a great experience with this dealership. Samir went above and beyond to help us get the exact vehicle we were looking for and we were given a very good deal from the purchase price, down to the maintenance packages. You also dont get the dealer tactics treatment with him. Needless to say we are very satisfied with our purchase and I highly recommend seeing him if you are in the market for a vehicle and want to be treated like a valuable customer.

Yes, auto repair services can be a deal breaker at a dealership but with the friendly service folks and services that they provide along with an occasional discount/deal if you can talk your way through it well then of course I will make my way back here whenever time and funds will allow.They are all very courteous and thorough in explaining the services being done/provided with people such as myself who have little to no knowledge of cars and a bit of off the topic conversation goes along well to get the day started off.Dont plan on an up and go kind of wait. If you do plan on waiting for your car expect a fair amount of wait or the next best choice is the shuttle that will take you to your destination. I believe they offer this at most dealerships anyway.To sum it up, deal breaker when it comes to services but I will take the friendly customer service any day to get the job done.

Update: After a recent negative experience where I wrote a really bad review for them, they were quick to call me back and apologize. The manager took full responsibility for the inconvenience that had been caused earlier and wanted to regain their customers confidence in them. They were sincere in taking care of their customers and had offered to get my next service with them in their main store where the manager Mike Voss would personally take care of me. Its really nice to know that a company is on top of situations like this. Its easy to get frustrated when something negative happens but what they do to win you back, this kind of customer service, you know you are in good hands. I took that offer and will bring it back tomorrow.

My experience with Team Mazda has been...sporadic. I admit, its been YEARS since Ive used a car dealership. The past couple of purchases have utilized my banks auto buying service. BEST! I decide (after much research) on a Mazda CX-3. I find a low-mileage 2017 GT with Team Mazda. It was priced fairly, but no real savings to note. It even comes with a Pre-owned Certification. The fun begins here. I had a very kind salesman, Tony. He managed to get my guard down. Then, he had me sit, and sit, and sit (for an entire workday) as he did this and that. I didnt think much of it, at the time. After nearly six hours, I was simply ready to drive my new (to me) car HOME! Then came Dale - finance manager. Tony had convinced me to take a service warranty. I hate those things, but my blurry vision and time softened me up (reference my time comment earlier). Dale convinced me that, as it was a holiday, I should upgrade - it wasnt a significant amount more (not true), and it would cover bumper to bumper (read the fine print - not true). Remember that pre-owned cert? Yeah, thats a dealer-specific gimmick - certainly broken A/C wouldnt have passed a Mazda certification. It leads me to wonder, did they even check the car before putting it on the lot? Dale even managed to get me a few extra dollars on my trade - how very gentlemanly. And, he did me a favor by skimming through the paperwork (red flag - I know). To boot, he threw in a net accessory. Deals all the way around! Finally, I get in my car to drive home. I turn on the air conditioner. No cold air (on the test drive we rolled down the windows and cranked up the tunes, as you do on a beautiful CA day). So, I caught Tony. No prob. Well have that fixed. When can you return to have it fixed? I settled on the following business day. Driving home, I noticed that the system, on the top-end GT model didnt come with preinstalled navigation. HUH? And, the tonneau cover (listed as standard equipment was missing. In addition, the rear bumper was slightly out of alignment - the previous owner apparently had a bought with a solid object. After a bit of whining, they agreed to fix all of it. I get there, again waste an entire workday, only to be told that the broken air was a warranty issue, and the parts needed had to be ordered. When can you return? Cue woo-sah moment. I agreed, but to return on a non-workday. And, when I get home, after much thought time in the dealership, I decided to look at my paperwork. Said inexpensive warranties totaled over $5k! WHAT! Okay, pause: terrible me for not asking more questions. Resume. The clause (and I knew of this) was that I could cancel. No questions, slight penalty. It wasnt an easy process, but I did it - only to find out that the dealership hadnt processed my info yet - so we had to redo the entire agreement - including the inflated selling price of my trade. Interestingly, I was offered a lower cost to keep the warranties. Hum. I did not opt to do so. Finally, I score! To close the story, I get to the dealership on Saturday, the CSR had no idea of my arrival, I spent sixty buck on an Uber to get home, only to pick the car up, no tonneau shade - but functional A/C. In the end, and overall, I am satisfied. Happy? No. There were stellar moments of customer service, and so many fails. Add all of that together, and you get an average experience at an average dealership. Cars seem to progress with the modern age, but car dealerships remain steadfast in their old-school approaches.

My husband died suddenly last July and left some debt. I was upside down in my loan on my Subaru, which I loved, but didnt get great gas mileage and now was bigger than I needed. Salesman Tony and money man Tony both worked hard to give me options that would lower my payments and provide me with a car that was more efficient than my other vehicle. They were helpful, not condescending, and realistic. After a lot of thought about my choices, I bought a bright red Mazda 2 with a standard transmission. I zip around town, visit my LA grandkids, haul dogs and generally having a fun time. this was a great experience although I had dreaded the whole process. Thanks to you all for making this car buying fun and not at all depressing like I had thought it would be.

We had been into this dealership a few times. Every time we came by, the sales staff has been attentive & professional.We finally came in with the intention of purchasing our new car. We probably tested the patience of our salesperson Francisco, but he totally kept his cool. We test drove the CX-3, Mazda 3 & CX-5. All 3 were great cars, I can recommend any of them depending on your needs. I was really impressed at the quality, engineering and handling of all three for their respective classes. We decided on the Mazda 3 hatchback for our needs. They didnt have our preferred color in stock, but they were able to get it & have it ready for us to pick up less than 24 hours later.Francisco Garcia was our sales person. He was perfect, clearly knowledgeable about the cars, but let us soak up the driving experience during the test drives. Pro tip: If you test drive a car here, let your sales person take you on their preferred test route - its a fun, perfect drive for appreciating a nice handling Mazda.We negotiated price primarily with Tony & Arman, the Internet Sales Managers. I felt they were very fair, and great to work with. I felt like we got a great deal on a new Mazda, without enduring hours of heated battle.All in all, we couldnt have asked for a better all around experience. I never felt like we were getting the hard sell or being pressured into anything we didnt want. I appreciate that, and well refer our friends and family to their business.

I recently purchased a 2018 Mazda Miata Grand Touring from Team Mazda. My wife and I had one of our best experiences in purchasing a car. Evan eventually handled our purchase, but it seemed everyone on the floor pitched in one way or another. There was no pressure to buy, and though the store did not have the right color, white, auburn Nappa interio, they found what we wanted at another store, in San Jose. Evan worked late on Sunday night, and Team Mazda had it ready for Monday morning pickup. Thank you Team Mazda.

Update: Since the below review, I brought my car in again for new brake pads. After the last time, they promised that the massive delay would not happen again. However, once again the car took about 7 hours to swap out new brake pads in the back. Turns out that the tech that had worked on the car the previous time came in late that day. So, instead of getting me out quicker, they let my car sit untouched from 8am until about noon.Now, car is having issues with a slipping clutch. I brought the car in yesterday and was told that I would hear back from them the same day. 24 hours later and they have not even diagnosed the issue. It seems that if you have repeated issues with this dealership, they will actually do nothing to make it right.*original review*A slightly delayed review. Brought my 2014 Mazda 3 in for noise on the rear rotors. After being quoted a 2 hour repair time, it ended up being closer to 6 hours. However, when I brought this up to the sales manager, he more than made up for it. While mistakes do happen, I appreciate it when a business owns up to it and does its best to make it right. Service after this one time has been quick. If I had a single issue, which I wont ding a star for, they are not a Truecar dealership. This unfortunately means that they can not match Truecar prices. For service though? Top notch!

I am very satisfied by the service provided by the DGDG staff during my last visit. Darryn Tysons customer service by itself stands out among any place in recent memory to a point where I felt like I MUST leave a review. Shes a sharp, hard working person who is cool under fire and genuinely has a good mood. The other staff as well, Alex (who drives the shuttle) and Anthony (who does the detailing) were awesome employees. Each one friendly on top of what they do.Its not common find outstanding customer service these days because people are either not trying or trying too hard to a point you feel its not authentic. Unfortunately, Mazda in Vallejo and Tracy was the only two around me with the exact car I wanted. Well, Fremont had it too, but they told me that it was sold 3 hours before my appointment to come in to the dealership. I contacted Oak Tree, Capitol, Dublin, Fremont, Tracy... you name all the Mazda in the Bay Area...I contacted them!! And Samir, at Team Mazda was the only one who did not pressure me at all. When I asked for a lower quote, he told me honestly what he can and cannot do and didnt change price or his words on me, which I really appreciate. And the best part is, when we went to purchase the car, the whole buying experience was so smooth! He gave me the exact price he promised, the car was clean and ready, Samir came in on his day off and stayed until 9:30pm(They close at 9). Its only been 1 day but I am in love with my new car!! I saved $5,000 by buying at the Concord Mazda dealership.The team member who helped me at the Vallejo location was great. He was happy to answer all my questions and my test drive was lovely. But when it came time to look at the numbers I was surprised that their asking price was 3k above the MSRP. I thanked him and said Id like to shop around. 20mins later I was in Concord buying the car for 2k under the MSRP.Im just one person. Maybe this was just a one time thing. But if youre in the market for a new Mazda... Id suggest asking around to see it you might save some money.

Had been having an bad experience with salesman lately but Terry was awesome. told him what i was looking for but didnt tell him my limit when he asked.i was looking for preferably a cert. used mazda 6 or mazda 3 and i wanted to do a test drive of both.the 2012 mazda 6 had to be jumped and he apologized and went to go get a jumper pack. the drive was great and i loved how it handled.the 2013 mazda 3 i will never know because the key was dead and he opened the door manually but the car still wouldnt start. he apologized profusely saying that this was totally embarrassing. it didnt bother me much because i was 6ft and couldnt get the seat further back for the leg room i needed so no big loss.then we went inside and discussed some financing options and he explained to my politely and in great detail on how it worked and so on. didnt pressure me to buy or anything which i appreciate.need help? talk to terry

Rocco MarconniI felt so down this past few days because I have 6 months to reunify with my kids but they live in Anaheim and I live here in Vallejo. It seemed impossible for me to get there and back twice in a month without no reliable car to use and plane tickets cost so much more than I can really afford. I thought of getting a new car but who would let me get a car with no deposit just a trade-in with a very bad credit? I thought of it for a minute and got online and applied for a car loan for a person with bad credit. I put my information on there and within 45 minutes I received a phone call from Rocco Marconni. I told him my situation and he listened to what I had to say. he made me feel at ease and for some reason I believed him and trusted him right away. He wasn’t just trying to sold a car because I need it, instead he was helping me out in a way nobody would do what he had done. I know for my credit I wouldn’t get such a nice car but with all the help he provided me, I have high hopes now that I can travel back and forth to build a bond with my children until they are ready to come home with me and im pretty sure they are going to be very happy to see that their mommy have a very nice car and that I can see them anytime. Rocco Marconni is the most honest man I have ever met. He didn’t treat us just a “customer” he treated us like we’ve known each other for a long time. He does very well, professional, and friendly with his job and I can tell people about him how he help me so much. He is a person to trust when it comes to buying a car because he will help you the very best he can.
