First, I would like to Thank Oris and Paul for helping me out with my countertop (Owen Gold countertop) install. I purchased some countertops in Vacaville, CA. I was told last min that the company in Vacaville, CA wouldn’t cut the top to my size. I kept the top because they were a perfect match. I found Granite Countertop Vallejo, CA shop online and decided to go in and check them out. Upon arrival Paul walked over introduced himself and started helping me. I explained my situation to Paul an he told me he would help me get on the schedule for install within a couple of weeks. A few days later I spoke with a nice lady named Oris at the front desk. She took down my information, assured me that the team would take care of my countertops and get me taken care of. Not only did the team call me two days early to install but they came in very respectful and let me show them what was needed for my installation. The team did a great job, cleaned up and made sure I was happy before they left. Thank you so much for the help!!!!!
Amazing job all around - excellent service, quality materials, skilled tradesmen and great value! From designing the kitchen layout and choosing finishes with Katya, to interacting with the super talented installers, to conversations with Paul the owner - this company has their act together! They replaced our entire kitchen at our house in Vacaville and made great recommendations like venting the microwave to the outside and adding a pull out garbage can - we are thrilled with the results. Things that really stood out were the super detailed budget with line items, quick responses to our questions before and during the project, quality materials, attention to detail, cleaned up work areas every day, and an impressive turnaround time - 2 weeks total from start to finish. They have different specialists for each of the install functions and I was super impressed with their skills and attention to detail - demo, electrical, cabinet install, counters, finishing & trim, appliances install - all were great to work with and I have to say that everyone was really nice too. DO NOT SHOP HERE ! We went into the store and waited in line for at least 20 minutes. Then somebody came up to us and said that there wasn’t anybody to help us and that we should leave and call them in two weeks. Then we explained that we needed to talk to someone about ordering supplies for our bathroom remodel. Then they said that Kyle could help us. I’m not sure what changed. We waited another 20 minutes to talk to Kyle. We told Kyle we wanted A shower pan that was 36 x 36 and there would be two tiled walls and two glass walls. One glass wall that was solid and one that had a door. So he ordered the items for us and our handyman picked them up. He got into the project and found out that the shower pan was for a three walled shower and that the glass wall and door was 36 x 40. The handyman called them and no one called him back for two days. These people have no idea what they’re doing. Do not shop here. As of right now no one has called us back and I can’t get through to Kyle or anyone else. FIND ANOTHER STORE!

Loved this place! Had great customer service with Katya who helped me make choices where I was undecided. My only complaint was that we had to adjust for manufacturers who were out of stock on some of our cabinet sizes we needed. With a few changes we were able to get what we wanted.
Would give negative stars if I could. We walked in, browsed for 15-20 min, no one acknowledged us, so we stood in front of the counter to wait for assistance. One of the employees had walked up to another customer who came in after us and told us we’d be next. The woman behind the counter called me up and said, “Do you have a quick question I can help you with?”, after me only getting in a few words, she picked up a phone call without excusing herself, while I was asking my “quick question.” Customer service is horrible and not worth your time. Needless to say, we walked right out.
Wish I could give half star for half the customer service I received, just returning a sample piece took me an hour and a half plus change. would not recommend if you want quality service in a timely manner. on top of the fact they falsely stated they had tile in stock which was not what we had ordered. didnt even bother to check to make sure it matched the order slip. also left me on hold on the phone for over 30 min, better off at Lowes.
Purchased new cabinets for my kitchen a year ago, there were so many problems in the installation of the cabinets, first of all none of the installers spoke English, I got so tired of them coming back to fix the messups, seemed like there were only a few mistakes that they fixed, horrible installation. I would never recommend this company for anything, the cabinets were not aligned, the corner molding has 5/8 of an inch gap, I was so disappointed in the installation, please contact me before purchasing and come by to see this mess, guaranteed you will shop elsewhere...very very shoddy work, I requested the owners to come and inspect and they never didalthough it was a little over a year ago I am still fuming every time I look at this mess. I dare the owners to even contact me to see this devastation..very unprofessional
Ive been to this location twice and both times customer service was very poor for the couldnt give me pricing for items also that I needed to fill out a form to do anything Ive been other granite expos and their items on display were marked with pricing and at this one the wasnt any price ing at all. Last I didnt feel like anybody there wanted to help me they seemed rude when we asked for help. Im not planning on returning.
Awful customer service that is not worth the competitive prices for materials. We drove multiple times from Sonoma County to Vallejo for our bathroom remodel. We had an appointment scheduled with Katya (after driving an hour and a half) and we saw her walk out and take her lunch in the break room right before the appointment. She refused to come back from lunch even though we had an appointment scheduled. Staff was not helpful in finding someone else to help us. No one offered to help us, no one apologized. We asked multiple employees for help and all they said was Wait for her to get off lunch when she was sitting in the back refusing to come out for an appointment that I booked with her and she confirmed. A simple Sorry about your appointment, let me find someone to help you, is all I would have liked to hear. One female employee behind the counter kept taking her mask off and they did not enforce other customers to wear masks. I had to ask a fellow customer to wear a mask and it made me very uncomfortable. This was in the pandemic and pre-vaccine. We had to wait in line again to meet with another rep and Katya had not saved any of our paperwork from our last meeting. The new rep Lillian had to redo the entire quote and, surprise, it was much more expensive than the original. We went home and ended up going with someone else for our cabinets who price matched and had amazing customer service. There was no way I was giving this store thousands of dollars after the way we were treated. We still purchased the granite from this store as it matched our shower kits we bought from them earlier in the year. We told the store multiple times we had a contractor coming on Monday 2/15 to pick up the granite both on email and phone and no one told us they were closed that day! We had to call back on Saturday to add a back splash piece and thankfully the woman on the phone said they would be closed on Monday, or the contractor would have wasted hours of his time driving to pick up materials. Unfortunately but not surprisingly, the back splash was never added to the order! When we spoke on the phone on Saturday, the employee said we would get a call back that day, never got it. This resulted in a stressful day on Tuesday of me and my partner calling and emailing about the extra piece, as the contractor was picking up when the store opened. They did not answer the phone or email until 10 minutes after the store had been open. Im here by myself, Ill call you back later and a hang up was the response when we said we needed to add to our order and that our contractor was there. They never called back. The contractor had to go in and order the extra piece and call my partner to pay. The prices are not worth the atrocious customer service. I will never go back here.

Not sure if Id recommend. Purchased brand new appliances less than 3 months ago and the refrigerator was damaged during the demolition. Still awaiting a resolution for this issue, yet they have no problem charging our card. We were told someone would call us by the end of last week...still waiting. Waited 12 years to upgrade our kitchen and very unhappy with the service we received.

I wouldnt risk it. They messed up a few things during installation, and I stopped them at one point and politely asked them to fix it, they refused. I had them stop and went to the store to talk to the manager; I was told to either let them finish doing it wrong, or that they would leave the job as is and no refund would be given. (full disclosure, this was a few years prior to this review, still stewing over it)The actual granite was really nice.
**Revised on 6/3/20**After my issues being escalated to Paul (owner), everything was resolved to my satisfaction. Paul also stored my unused stone so that I can use it at a later date, and I think him for that.****I had a terrible experience dealing with this company. They never return my calls or emails of if they do its many days later after many follow ups from me. They caused damaged during install to my brand new floors and try everything in their power to make up reasons why it couldnt have been their installers that caused the damage. Additionally there was drywall damaged and the edge of the quartz on one of the counters had a big chip out of it. Its been a great disappointment. Prices might be competitive, but you know the saying... you get what you pay for. Lesson learned I guess.

Amazing Customer Service!!Lucy worked with my architect and me to create a sheathing for a fireplace. When some confusion arose regarding the finished product, Paul stepped up, hired a different fabricator/installer at his own expense, and the finished product is outstanding.In a time, when too many businesses refuse to put their customers first, The Granite store did so and with no hassle.I recommend them highly!
My wife and I recently did a kitchen remodel. As much as we wanted to install custom cabinets, it wasn’t in our budget. We were referred to the Granite Store by our kitchen designer Haley Shackford. We met Katya at the Granite Store early on and although we had some reservations about the prefab cabinets we moved forward with the project. Katya helped us every step of the way. Our project was on time, on budget and the Granite Store staff helped us to avoid some problems. Like any project, ours was not glitch free but Katya, Kyle, Paul, Ling and the Granite Store crew helped us work them all out. It was a good experience!

Nice selection but I wouldnt go there if my insurance company didnt force me to! Called to make an appointment, i was asked what time i would like to come in. Since Saturday is my only day off, and i am coming from Petaluma, I said 3pm. The lady on the phone with a heavy Russian accent said you come at 8:30 we see you. Otherwise after lunch too busy. BUT their hours are 8:30-5:30 so I am guessing you cannot make an appointment afterall? Just rubbed me the wrong way. Sorry I dont want an 8:30 appointment cause it is more convenience tor you. I AM the customer, not that you would know it at the Granite Store. TRAIN your customer service staff to treat customers with respect. We have other options you know!
