The manager-on-duty and staff at the customer service desk are horrible and rude.I ordered 2 open box 27 LCD monitors a couple of weeks ago on-line for my office in Manhattan. (Both were listed as Excellent Condition).Went to pick them up at this store this past Friday.The first chance I had to install them was this past Monday.Upon opening up the packaging, (1) unit came in its original packaging and had no issue. When I opened the 2nd unit, I noticed the base was broken (with the broken pieces still in the box), when I plugged it in, the screen also showed damages.I filed a replacement / return request on-line on Monday.I went to store on Tuesday with the damaged unit and the return authorization print-out.The lady behind the customer service desk (who happened to be the manager on duty) told me theres only a 24 hour return policy for open box items and since several days have passed, they cant do anything for me and it was not their problem.I asked for Best-Buy corporate phone number and called them while i was still in the store.The corporate representative told there is no such restriction on open-box items and they agreed to send me a return label for free.Wouldnt a manager of the store know their own return policies??What kind of idiot would promote in incompetent person to a management position??With millions of New Yorkers loosing their jobs due to Covid, dont tell me this is the best BB can do to staff their retail stores?Based on the way I was treated, I will stop all personal and business purchases from this store.BB Corporate should look into replacing some of the staff at this location ASAP.

Its an average Best Buy with an okay customer service. I waited roughly 12 minutes, as indicated by the app, for curbside pickup. After 15 minutes, I got nothing. I go in to do a regular pickup and there are no lines with 4 people working the counter, specifically for pickup. It would have been easier if they told me to just come inside instead of standing around and not doing curbside pickup. As for the rest of the store, its like any other Best Buy.

The clerks were very helpful when you asked for their help. In other words, the clerks didnt impose their help on you; they allowed you to look around until you figured out you dont know what youre looking for. Wait, maybe that was just me. Anyway, it was a pleasant shopping experience; and I dont particularly like shopping.

First, the only good employee was Jamal, he multitasked to try help me when no one else was around. His customer service was good. But I did a store pickup order. Received an email my order was ready. Went to the store 2 hours after Email was received, only to have to wait because the products werent brought to the front. That is a big let down... If it wasnt for Jamal I would have given 1 star

My refrigerator went out. I came into the Valley Stream store to look at a replacement. The item couldnt be delivered right away. The saleswoman was kind to look at all the inventory and find a similar unit that was available and economical for delivery in 3 days. What a relief that was. I needed a refrigerator right away and Best Buy didnt disappoint.
At 7:00pm sept 2 a Lady with a Mohawk in a black shirt kept yelling at customers walking in that were closed and she continued to pull the gates to the doors down.. (closing is at 8pm) and it’s not fair to customers if people get off work late rushing to a business that’s closed at 8pm to be told at 7pm we’re closed
My purchase was well researched before I went to the store so that helped speed along the process. The service associate was great, the few questions we had was answered, the sale of the washer and the warranty purchase was all done in about 15 to 20 minutes tops. Best Buy has array of washers and dryers, the backorder items were placed aside so you wont ask for those to no avail. There prices were competitive and they do price match for the same product, model number etc.

I came into this best buy knowing exactly what I wanted and where I needed to go. The girls at customer service were knowledgeable and very helpful. The floor associate was very patient with me even though I was over talking him. I forgot his same but he was extremely helpful. Maybe it was to just get me the hell out his face lol. I would recommend this best buy

Ridiculously over priced for certain items like hdmi cords, and good sales on other items. My favorite reason for going to Besut Buy is to watch the prices on refrigerator/freezers, washer & dryers, dishwashers, and ovens. Ill be moving into a a house within the next 3 months and Im very excited about shopping for it! Shopping in general usually makes me feel pretty good.🥰 Best buy has some beautiful options, just eying the prices for fluctuations.
Within the past two weeks, I placed two online orders for curbside pickup. Order #1: I arrive, pull into parking spot 3 and notify the store that I’ve arrived. There are other customers waiting outside as well. After waiting 20 minutes, I go into the store to find a young lady at the online order register scrolling on her cell phone. I explained to her that I and other customers were outside waiting. She took 6 steps and grabbed my order and began checking me out. 😳I then notice one of the product packages was damaged and open. The plastic seal was broken and the flap was hanging out. I stopped the cashier and stated I wasn’t going to accept the product because of the condition it was in. Why would I pay money for a returned product. 😤 The associates instantly got an attitude and rolled their eyes. I apologized to both of them for inconveniencing them for them having to do their job. The manager on the other hand was awesome. He return the item and refunded me my money.Order #2: I ordered a webcam and once again, I had to turn right back around and return the item. The box most definitely saw better days and the seal was once again broken. I showed the manager the items that were missing. This is unacceptable after paying $150. The manager was very professional and addressed the issue.My intention for writing this review is to trigger Best Buy to improve their customer service (the cashiers) and their quality control best practices. It is unethical to sell products that have been tampered with and are missing pieces. I will never shop here again and I will warn my family and friends to beware.
Horrible customer service. lazy saleswoman in the laptop section told me they were sold out on a specific item and seemed unmotivated to offer me an alternative. their system showed 1 open box of the laptop i was looking for but she was annoyed when i asked her to locate it, which she couldnt. she was content doing the minimum. several items on display that were not in stock. get it together brick and mortar or youll be out of business.

I needed my iPhone fixed and didn’t want to wait an entire week. I was able to book an appointment the same day via the support app. When I arrived there was a bit of a wait but it was nothing compared to those lines wrapped around the Apple Store. The tech was respectable and knew what he was doing. He ran a diagnostic check took my information and told me to come back in an hour. My phone was like new and the fact that it was $35 with Apple Care made it even better. I will definitely be utilizing this Best Buy as my go to!
Love the store but some of their male employees are so rude. They get an attitude when you ask them where something is. Mind you they just be lingering around doing nothing so I have no clue whats the reason for that.

I wanted to update my computer and laptop, so I made an appointment at best buy with the Geek people. When I reached for my appointment I was greeted by a grumpy person. He began our interaction with do you have an appointment? I told him that I had an 11:50 appointment. I want me to show him a confirmation on my phone. The only thing I had to remind me of my appointment was a voicemail that was sent to my phone. The Geek guy was not happy with the voice mail because he claimed that he could not hear the lady who left the voice mail. Then he began looking in the computer for my appointment and he claimed that he did not see my appointment for that day. So I asked for the manager the manger found my appointment but claimed that i did not make the appointment at that store and the appointment was made for the bay shore store which was to far. So I ended up going home without getting my computer updated. I felt like the geek guy would have made me another appointment there at that location. Or he could have just take it at that location. I knew that it probably would take a week or so to get my computer back. But he did not take my computers at all. I would never go back there again.😕

I was out shopping for a fridge. I found out theyre all not in stock but some you can have delivered within a week, some longer. Best Buy has computers, televisions, home security cameras, video games, kitchen appliances and more.
This store in particular for me is a great Young personal eager to hepl and eager to learn they will match prices and have a good selection

The gentlemen at the door assisted me from my entrance to my exit. he was able to have someone retrieve the item I needed as well as offered to help me outside. The service was fast and professional.
Bought a tv and sound system from this location and paid for the Geek Squad to mount it to my wall. They couldnt do it right away so I waited 2.5 weeks for the service availability...only for them to call me the day of and tell me they had to reschedule for the next day. The next day arrived and they called me while theyre supposed to be here and said they would have to push the appointment to the following day at 8am. This is 2 days of rescheduling when this was planned in advance. It is now 12pm when they were supposed to be here at 8am and Im still trying to figure out where this delivery person is.If youre wondering, I did call the number that I have been communicating with for the past few days. Not only did the person on the other line have no recollection that they called and cancelled TWO of my appointments, but they told me my 8am appointment will get there when they get there. 10/10 do not recommend their delivery/mounting and installation service.

Stay AWAY!!! I walked in last week to look at refrigerators and a washer and dryer set to purchase for my home. The music was blasting not from the TV or Speaker sections but from the stockroom. To top it off, the lyrics were explicit. Trying to ignore it I started to browse the appliances but while I was doing that 3 kids were racing their shopping carts up and down the aisle as an older kid was recording. I was in the store for 45minutes and not one associate asked if I needed any help. I rather drive 45min out of my way to avoid this store. I will NOT buy my appliances from Best Buy.

We walked in to look at washing machines on sale. We werent approached by an employee for over 15 minutes, which was fine. We were able to compare prices and eliminate the ones we werent interested in. When an employee finally approached us he was sweet but definitely not knowledgeable. Luckily he had two colleagues that helped him. They chimed in as I asked questions. I didnt make a purchase only because I realized I must measure the second doorway. I will definitely be making a purchase from them today.

I like how they added multiple checkout lines compared to years ago where there was only 1 long line. It made everything so much easier.This was during Christmas season and it was packed.Also the staff did a good job supplying items in the store while it was active.

I had ordered online while on my way to go to store they canceled order. Customer service call to tell me they dont have the item so I did a second order for same day pick up. I got to the store to be told the order was canceled also. They tell me in the store to call customer service to ask why it was canceled. I did had to wait 12 mins before getting someone and the store was closing (7:10pm) the guy on the phone said just buy another laptop thats in the store. I ended up paying $$$ more for this one then the one online order.
I brought a 70 inch tv from here. They were very helpful. The guy that worked there even carried my home theater sound bar to my car. I have brought a few tvs from Best Buy and never had a problem. They were there word with their warranty. One of my tvs stop working a few years ago and i was able to get another new tv with a few more dollars since they didnt make the piece anymore for my tv. Best Buy in Valley Stream is tge place to go!
