Skip the plants, they are not watered consistently. Most of them are dead, dying or have bugs and disease. The cashier tried to blame the vendor, which is insane. That vendor is the largest supplier for Long Island, because they are top of the line. Perhaps the lazy cashier should get off her but and pick up the hose. Tried to speak to a manager, but a stupid visor tried to answer me for the complaint. I dont think shes even been in the plant area. Next time someone asks for a manager, remember, its above your pay scale!.

Most of what you need at a decent price. The only issue I encounter is the employees often dont know where items are located. However, if you look up any items online, you will find the isle and bin number.

Its true what they say about home depot. You can never find an associate to help you. When you do, Its not their department. I just need a box off the rafters. Anyone can do that. I should get a discount for climbing the ladder and getting it myself. This place is truly self serve.

This store is horrible. Customer service is does not exist. You cant get anyone to help. Thank God we finally got help. Jeff was nice. It took almost an hour but Jeff was helpful. Manager never came to help. Had to call corporate, they had a horrible conversation with Randy, store manager, very rude.

Everything is good and also huge quantities available there, the only thing that was down was customer service, we needed some help at cement aisle and made 3 announcements, we eneded up helping each other

I have to say that Home Depot is the best when it comes to finding items to repair your house or to change your house. The employees are very helpful. I found exactly what I was looking for and even more. Home Depot keep up the good work when it comes to selecting your employees at this location.

Home depot is a good place to find what you need to remodel, fix or diy home - front and back yard building projects and more.I feel customer service personnel can use training for the sections they cover, it is often hard to find knowledgeable help in there.All in all I love in there.

Hello Home Depot stores and think it is one of the most amazing stores you can find. If you’re into power tools construction or if you were in the man just someone would like to improve their home, you are like me, and you are here once a month if not more. I don’t need a special reason to come here and if there’s a good sale on something I will get it. Not the easiest thing to find help here, but when you do find it it is top-of-the-line.

Cool place, it is well organized, they have everything there, and it is clean.

Always find what you need here. The electrical department is especially helpful. Good place for household items.

Clean store, helpful staff. When I was there there only two of the self check out registers running with a employee at each one. The line was literally to the other end of the store. While frustrating, the wait was only about 10 minutes, everyone was moved through very efficiently.

Home Depot is Home Depot what can I tell you they have a parking lot at almost all of this to us the service is good and the prices are fair the only thing is that the lines are starting to get longer again

If there is a way to rate “No Star”, I will select “No Star”. We went here needing for an assistance. I went to the staff to ask that we needed help and then we waited. About 15 minutes after and no help still, so I asked the staff again if someone can please assist us, then we waited for about another 15 minutes and no help at all. This Home Depot didn’t care about us. It is the worst Home Depot! We left without the assistance we needed. Please do not waste your time in Home Depot Valley Stream!

Was disappointed at my last visit. Ordered curbside delivery and no one came out. Or texted me. Or called. So I had to go in ... And it still took then time to gather all my stuff.... . Even though they sent me an email that my order was ready. Not cool.

This location has stuff somewhat organized better that many other locations. Which may save you some time if not a lot. Items at HDs in and around city usually are not well organized so we customers pay with $ + TIME.

Overall this home Depot is fair the only best thing about this place would be Anthony in electrical. He is a very humble human being and well knowledge employee. But the rest of this location literally have to wait over 30 to 40 minutes for anyone to help you. Today I am having to wait over 45 minutes for someone to come exchange a propane tank. This is unacceptable for a place that is located that makes millions in a month. After waiting 45 minutes I was told the person that holds the only key to the propane cage and only one licensed to distribute the propane tanks has left at 5:00. Common sense you should not be selling something when you cannot offer it after a certain time.

I went, I didn’t find any, I even asked the employees and no one could’ve showed me where it was and then when I was able to found the place where it was supposed to be at, it was NOT there. I wanted an item, their online stock said they had 15 in stock, i asked a sales person for help finding it, they couldnt find it or even the isle it said it was in. I decided to purchase it online with their instore pickup option ....4 and a half hours later no response, i canceled the order, ...Im done with that location for the foreseeable future

The customer service at the service desk were so polite and very professional. They were able to assist us with our needs. They were patient and they helped us by following through with the kind od services we needed. My husband and I are very satisfied. Unlike some customer service at the help desk who are nasty, unprofessional and short with you when you explain your need.

Ms. Julia Butler is customer centric. We came to the store to get blinds and paint. She was very patient and knowledgeable about windows and blinds. She helped us pick the best items at affordable prices. She placed an order for us to pick up at a nearest Home Depot . She called the store and asked to set the product aside for us as we were on our way to pick it up. She truly embodied this great store mission to provide first class service to their customers.

Customer service needs some work. Shelves need to be packed more often. Many times the shelf is empty and there are supplies up on top that need a ladder or fork lift.....thats an hour more to get someone with an attitude to get it for u. And they have 2 speeds...which is slow and stop. ...so if u can get it yourself without getting hurt then ...go...

Unorganized. Could barely get to the shelves due to products that needed to be stocked in shopping carts. The return line is a mess as well

A well stocked warehouse with everything from roofing to flowers to cabinets, this is conveniently situated between Walmart and bjs and right next to a mall. This store is somewhat gloomy and at times unkempt. The last time I was there they had 2 employees working the self checkout with only 2 functional registers. It took almost 20 minutes to get out, and this was off peak (10am). With waits like this, Id avoid this home depot at all costs. Also, at peak hours, traffic is horrendous trying to get out of the mall area.

They have gotten so much better. The staff is really great now. Keep up the good work its really appreciated.

Awesome store, I came here to buy a new cabinet/vanity for the bathroom and they had a very nice selection in stock and I had several associates assist me with where I can find whatever it was I was interested in.My only advice with cabinets/vanities is take the thing out of the box and check the marble/wood/ceramic etc because you may find natural scuffs and irregularities in these materials in odd places. One vanity had a strange line on the the front most visible part of the vanity and the one we purchased had some irregularities in the wood on the backside of the vanity which goes against the wall (which the other vanity didn’t have in this location) and we got it because you can’t see it anyways. The associates were also helpful with this because they understand it’s a manufacturing error. I’ve been to this location numerous times and was able to get paper towels and lysol and various other cleaning implements that are sold out across the country at this time which is nice. The checkout lines are pretty fast and the employees all use partitions and face masks/shields and maintain 6 foot distancing.

Customers get frustrated finding what they need. There is just little help from the staff. MUCH more cashiers are needed. Dont like Home Depot. They need some REAL good competition.

The lady with the reindeer ears helped me find the best wood for my friends birthday and the paint dude matched the Home Depot Orange. He even helped me find the most luscious mop. Highly recommend this Home Depot. That must be the power of the Home Depot. #pogchamp

I was in the store today drove 45 min from out of town because the it was the only Home Depot that had the item in stock. I ask 2 associates to help me get the item from up above with a ladder. They told me they were unable to help bc they had stocked the area already and they were not going to go up on the ladder and get the item I needed. Shortly after another older gentleman from another department was walking by and asked if I needed help. I explained what I needed and he grabbed the ladder and got the item for me. The two younger lazy gentlemen would not help me and after I went to them and let them know I was helped. Home Depot as a whole as gone down hill in the past few years and I will keep this in mind next time I need something for a home improvement project.

Spend over 200 dollars and I say this all the time. Home Depot needs to improve customer service. Smh

Unfortunately many items I was looking for were out of stock on a Sunday afternoon. There were employees in some isles and they were helpful when asking questions but most did not know if they had an item. One scanned and then looked up at the higher shelves and just no, its all out. I go here because it is convenient but I am not thrilled with the selection or condition of stock that are on the shelves.

Bought 4 pack solar lights get home only 3 inside. Plus had to wait approx minutes to be told I cant buy particular flower pot because it was separated from flowers smh. Otherwise ok. Beautiful selection of plants

Sell great stuffs but customer service very poor.

I went to buy paint and plants . The over all experience inside the store was over all a 4 . The workers were very helpful, friendly and attentive so they deserve a 5. The reason for the 4 is because the plant nursery is out side and there was no access to it from inside because the gates where closed. So that meant we had to pay for the paints first, then go out, get the plants to go back on the line to enter again to make another line to pay. Had we known this when we first got there we would have picked up the plant first then the paint. Maybe there should be a sign or something to let the customers know if there buying plants and other things they need to pick up the plants first.

The store was well maintained but there wasnt enough staff on the floor. I had to try and figure things that I know nothing about on my own. Lines were not long which was a plus.

You can literally find almost anything you need for your house in Home depot like lights,wires,paints, tiles, tools,locks,plants and etc.

Poor customer service and not really well organized. Also it takes too much time to get anything done in the store like renting a truck for example. Do not recommend any contractors or any who values there thing to go here.

Besides the rising prices I am always fascinated at the home depot.

With all of the chaos caused by the pandemic, it is so refreshing to see someone who is able to put so much care and consideration into the interaction between customer and store employee.
