I recently leased a new Subaru Forrester from the team at Gregoris. Everyone I met at the dealership was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and walked me through every step of the process.One of the Sales Managers, Rosario, listened to the type of vehicle I was looking for and what I was comfortable with spending, suggesting the Subaru Forrester as a possible fit. He was right – it was just what I was looking for. My husband recently purchased a Subaru Outback from this dealership. From the time we set foot at the dealership the process was smooth. Dishonest in their pricing.Although I was extremely happy with my initial lease from them in March of 2018, this time around (August 2021) was the exact opposite.I was working with Jeff (car salesman) again, but this time there was a blatant attempt to LIE to me regarding the price of a 2021 Demo Crosstrek they had on this lot.Jeff (the salesman) told me NO window sticker for this vehicle was available, BUT the sticker price was $27,500, but because it was a demo and had 3400 miles he would reduce the price to $25,900.We were about to finalize the deal when I decided to look in the glovebox and found the window sticker. The car NEW was $25,900.HE KNEW THIS. The sticker price shows up in his computer!!!!Instead of being truthful and letting me know that their cars are going up in price due to the world wide chip shortage (I would have respected that). He opted to LIE TO ME and trick me into buying a vehicle that was not worth the amount of money he told me it was.There are many more honest Subaru dealers on LI.Do not go to Gregoris Subaru.Follow up. (2 weeks later)Immediately after I posted the review, Gregoris Subaru commented on my review and asked me to reach to their manager to resolve the issue.I immediately emailed the manager (as requested) and never heard back. Not an email, nor a phone call……..I guess this issue didn’t bother them that much. Going to Hasset Subaru!!!
Our recent experience with the staff at Gregoris was very positive....we knew we wanted the Forester Touring model and they found the color and the options we wanted within a day or two...nice low-key sales help and they had the car ready when promised and took a little time to orient us to the new technology. There is not a lot of negotiating room these days so we didnt haggle over price and we had a trade in so its hard to know exactly what kind of deal we got but we were satisfied. All in all a good experience. I knocked off a star because there was a misunderstanding regarding the license plates...we wanted new ones and thought we expressed that clearly but they misunderstood and neglected to order them so we had to drive away with our old plates and order new ones on our own. Actually saved some money that way so alls well that ends well!
I recently had the pleasure of leasing my second Subaru at Gregoris dealership. Besides Subaru cars being the absolute best of its kind....so is this dealership and the salespeople that work there! I left a deposit to order an Ascent during Covid, through no fault of their own, what was supposed to take 4-6 weeks from the factory would wind up taking 3 months secondary to a manufacturing blip and part that couldn’t be made to order because of the pandemic. During this wait, the manager and two different salespeople reached out to me several times to keep me in the loop about what was going on. I was able to extend my current Subaru Outback lease for the extra couple of months with no problem and when my car finally arrived, the manager did the most amazing thing, he upgraded the model at no extra charge because of my patience during the process. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with the staff here. If you’re looking for a no “bull” dealership, honest, straight forward, and reliable place, stop over at Gregoris Subaru. Not only will you leave with one of the safest cars on the road, but you’ll leave with a smile on your face knowing you got a fair and great deal on your lease or purchase. Don’t hesitate!

Even some of the extras he told me was not necessary and dont spend extra for them. He always answered my calls and kept me informed on when I would get the car. The last 3 subarus I bought was at the hicksville Subaru. I’m not going to mention the name but just imagine.Comparing the negotiations style from that place to this place. Not stress, no back and forth, specially if you are a Costco member. You don’t have to pay over the MSRP due to the chip shortage. Great service. The person booking the appointment M. was courteous and thoroughly explained pricing and service type.No wait time for check in and chairs placed outside and counter dividers to aid social distancing, show care for both employees and customers. I noticed plastic protector sheets for the steering wheel and on my last service appointment seat covering and a paper floor mat. Mechanics were observed wearing face masks while test driving cars. However, I noticed that the person who test drove a car had no mask on. This employee also did not cover that driver seat, this made me a little uneasy.I would say in conclusion, overall excellent service and efforts to secure safety but making sure all are compliant would be great. To top it off a manager checked on me whilst waiting and notified of estimated wait time remaining. A+ 😌
Had an amazing experience purchasing my Subaru Forester, certified Pre-owned. My dealer was named Tierra and she did a fantastic job and was well informed in helping me find the right car. We were able to reach a great agreement on purchasing the car my family was looking for. Both Tierra and sales supervisor Jay made the purchasing process easy and comfortable. It was the first time I had ever walked into a dealership and walked out with a car the same day. After visiting many Subaru dealers in Long Island and Queens, we decided to pursue Gregoris for the fantastic customer service experience. As a family owned dealership the sales agents understand the big purchase you are making and allow you to take your time in deciding the right car for you, instead of continuously pressing you about When you are looking to buy?. I even explained to Tierra and Jay that aside from the great deals, one of the main reasons I appreciated the buying experience was because I never once felt pressured. Looking forward to the adventures with my new car, and will definitely be coming back to Gregoris should I purchase another Subaru in the future, and will definitely be working again with Tierra.
Be careful they promised us a car over the phone, telling us we couldn’t put down a deposit and then when we drove 1.5 hours to get there they told us it was sold.
Our sales person(michael) was nice enough, but very forgetful and seemingly disinterested. I would have thought I would get a follow up call, but no. Car was not ready(our fault), and the all weather floor mats were missing, and the gas was at half. I expected much better customer service. It seemed the manager Jay was more helpful. My wife loves her Outback.

Reporting my daughters experience in June, 2020.My daughter had an specific appointment at a specific time.When she arrived alone, she was told to wait. Then a couple came in, indicated they did not have an appointment, and they were promptly served.When she did receive help, she did even get his business card. She really felt she was not treated as a serious customer, even though she wanted to buy and she has an excellent credit rating.She took her business and bought a car at Hicksville and was better received and treated there.In this day and age, this is not right.

The service center is run in an efficient manner, but other than bringing our cars in for a factory recall we have never had any issues with the cars. Had an appointment for 4:30, called in advance to inform them I was running 10 minutes late because of traffic. When I walked in there was no receptionist waiting to greet. Two men were busy on the phone, I went to go look for someone because I felt bad that I was already late and when I spoke to someone he basically shrugged me off and said someone will be right out. Was there for 15-20 mins and absolutely no one acknowledged us. I was really excited about getting my new outback after owning my Mazda. Guess another place will have to do.

Rough experience. We made an appointment, showed up, nobody greeted us, waited for 5 mins, asked someone if they could help us, were told to wait because they were with a customer, walked around waiting, and after 15 mins someone came over to us. We recapped why we made an appointment in the first place and asked if they had our specific model of vehicle for a test drive. When they didnt, and started trying to sell us into a different vehicle we just bailed on it.The car we were interested in had a strong odor of cigarettes and for a purchase thats the size of a car we want to transact with businesses that want our business.Luckily we drove for 15 more mins and found a Subaru dealership that was much more responsive, cleaner, friendlier, and with better parking. We bought from them (Grand Prix in Hicksville) the same day.

I contacted this dealership a day before I had hoped to take a test drive. Filled out all the forms and even corresponded with someone and set up an appointment. Upon arrival it was obvious they were busier than expected but there was no one there to greet me or tell me how long the wait would be. I was by myself and roaming around the small showroom for 15 minutes before I got a call asking if I was still coming in. I told her I was in the showroom and the rep came out and told me a salesman would be with me shortly. 15 min later and I am still waiting and a couple who had no appointment (I heard them say they didnt make one) was tended to before me. When a salesman finally came out it was clear he was not given any of the information I filled out online as I had to start from scratch and tell him what I wanted. I was able to test drive but had to keep to the side streets where I was unable to go above 20mps. Hardly a good way to test a car. When I returned to the showroom I sat down with the salesman and he explained how they had limited models of what I was looking for bc of the manufacturer shut down. Totally understandable. I was able to place an order in for the exact model and package and he did not ask me to put any money down. He also said hed be in touch as soon as my order was processed. Never heard from him again. You would think theyd be trying to make the sale but it was obvious he didnt care.I wound up going to grand prix in Hicksville and had a much better experience. He gave me the option to put a deposit and even spoke about financing.If you have to go to gregoris, dont bother making an appointment as they dont honor it, and if youre a female, I hate to say it but bring a guy with you. Im fully convinced I wasnt taken seriously bc I was a lone female.

From review to purchase the whole experience at Gregoris was extraordinary. (Only wish we had gotten a bit more for our trade in. We got $1000 for our 2006 Malibu Maxx and noticed it for sale at $5000. That said, we hope it goes to an equally satisfied customer!)
I went to Gregoris because my car had a recall. While I was waiting, they called me to tell me that my cabin air filter needed to be replaced. They showed it to me and it was dirty so I agreed to have it replaced. They told me it would cost me $79.95. I dont know anything about cars so I didnt really question the price so I paid. When I got the receipt, I saw that they charged me $56.97 for labor and $22.98 for the filter. When I went home, I was curious to see how much the filter actually cost so I googled it and you can get it for $12 to $16. And then I googled how to replace it and it was fairly simple. Gregoris overcharged me and I could have easily replaced the filter myself. They werent going to get a dime from me because I only went for the recall but they found a way to charge me for something anyways. They took advantage of me. They lost my business. Im never going back to them again.

My husband and I are so thankful that Mark Rosa became our salesman. We had a not so good experience with our first salesman. I want to thank Jay S. The manager for taking the initiative to see we were not going to buy the car from Gregoris. So kudos to Mark Rosa and Jay S. For making what started off bad to a good car buying experience. My apologies for not spelling out Jays last name. I just don’t know how and I didn’t want to butcher it. Truly sorry and embarrassed

I am a very satisfied customer and I especially feel confident in the guidance I receive from Maria, my representative. She always takes the time to explain the options that I have and she makes helpful recommendations. She is a pleasure to do business with.
Been going to Gregoris Nissan/Subaru to buy all my familys Cars as well as using their service center for maintenance and parts for nearly 30 years now...I will never shop anywhere else. The sales folks and leadership are genuine and honest people, always competent and upfront especially in regards to pricing - Never any surprises which is why I will never go anywhere else. In 2006 I purchased my first Subaru. Jeff Kats was the salesperson who assisted me with my purchase and I remembered how kind and patient he was. Here we are in 2020 and I decided to get an upgrade. I headed back to Jeff for help and was touched by the fact that he remembered me so many years later. This time around I received great customer service from his colleagues as well. Jay Sarasky and Michael Polans. Jay assisted with the paperwork and Michael was very thorough with his explanation of features on the car. I felt comfortable and safe before driving my car off the lot. I highly recommend this dealership!
I cannot explain the level of treatment received today at your service center we scheduled an appointment a week almost 2 in advance for the 24k mileage service, to also check issue with left wheel shaking, and 3 recalls that have a high risk level for driving. I told this to the gentlemen in the front and he decided to say that they dont do recalls, and that he doesnt know if they have room for us today. So i told him i have an appointment made in advance for this location, he proceeded to say that the appointment made was for Subaru not them. Being both confused and upset I told him that it was not clear that certain service could not be done and that you do only walk ins. The man and the lady both decided to say rude comments saying that i wasnt planning on staying, and other things under there breath, so i requested my vehicle to leave and then started calling the service center to see if they can transfer me to another center to bump me in line as I had this planned out before my travel with the vehicle to a different state. Person on the customer support line couldnt do anything but transfer my call to the nearest dealer. AS i am in my vehicle on the phone park out front a Subaru worker with gray hair comes up to my vehicle and starts taking pictures of my license plate. No idea why as I am away from them in a valid parking spot. I simply dont understand why my wife and I received this treatment as we were bothering them from doing there job? Now I am to drive a vehicle that has open recalls endangering myself and people around me. This being my 2nd Subaru will be my last, the service centers are absolutely ridiculous, how do you expect people that work 9-5 M-F then weekends treat them like this ?
Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. They worked in coordination keeping us as satisfied customers. Clear communicators and easy to work with. All departments were friendly and created a comfortable buying experience. I spent many months looking for the right car from the right dealership and this was it.
Wouldnt take my car anywhere else for service but Gregoris Subaru everyone is respectfull, kind and always to help.
Doron, my service advisor, was professional, attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful. Upon retrieving my car, I saw the driver’s seat was covered with protective plastic and a paper floor mat was in place. Nice touch. I also saw the only deleted radio preset was the conservative station 710 AM. Was the service technician making a political statement?
Just moved to the area and was hoping to become a loyal Subaru customer here. But unfortunately I had one of the worst telephone experiences of my life. They should not have Virginia answering the phones. If the service is equivalent to the telephone manners of Virginia, then I would never bring my car here for any service. When I kindly asked to speak with her supervisor, she refused to pass the phone and she refused to provide the name of her supervisor. If I could give zero stars, i would!
This was the best experience buying a new car we have ever had. Our salesman Eric Colon is a true professional and took care of us every step of the way. We highly recommend this dealership for its personalized service and easy buying process all the way through meeting with the Finance Manager. We really love our new Ascent!

Gregoris Motors is my Dealership of choice. Richard and Robert are consummate professionals who treat you like family. I have purchased 2 cars from them and have had nothing but positive experiences. Robert has gone out of his way in the service dept to make sure that my car is always ready in a timely manner, no matter how big or small the job may be. Richard has sold me BOTH of my cars. Its not often that you get to sit with the person whos name is on the plaque hanging above the dealership! He could easily have let me deal with one of his employees (which are all great), but instead he has taken the time to make sure that he gave me the best deal on both my new cars as well as my trade-in. DO NOT HESITATE to buy from Gregoris, you will not be disappointed.
I was shopping for my first car when a coworker of mine told me her family’s experience with Gregoris Subaru. I previously looked at a few dealerships at this point and decided to give Gregoris a try. I made an appointment with Mark to go over the details of a Forester as well as get ideas on pricing and overall value of my current car (at the time). I fully expected to experience what happened with other dealerships I had appointments with- highball me because of my gender, assume I knew nothing about cars, or low ball me on my cars current value. Gregoris did none of that. They had fair pricing, fair assessment, and fact checked everything before giving me any information. They also did not discriminate me because of my age or gender (28 year old female).Their prices were fair and market value which was amazing. Mark walked me through every step, even outlining to the penny the costs of my new car to show me what I was paying for. Mark went out of his way to ensure I was getting the exact Forester I wanted and called me as soon as it came in and had patience with me when I had to change the date of when I was coming in to pick up my new car, due to family issues. I bought my Forester a few weeks later (had to wait for it to come in).When I noticed a small blemish on the Forester I purchased, Mark and Gregoris went out of their way to make it right, free of cost to me. Both Mark the dealer, and Mark, the service a manger at the service department, made sure there was a loaner for me to use until the blemish was fixed, and personally handled my case. After all was said and done, Gregoris Subaru followed up with me to ensure I was satisfied and if I had any further questions. I was so impresssed with the service department and dealers that I would highly recommend anyone in search of a Subaru to go to Gregoris. You won’t be high balled, or hoodwinked. Whenever I go to Gregoris it’s a pleasure from the individuals that greet you upon entering to the wonderful staff at the desk. I always see Doron when I go. He is honest, professional and through. BTW they always have coffee, tea and a little snack for you if you choose to wait. The waiting area is comfortable and you can watch HGTV while you wait. Let’s not forget the bathrooms are always clean!!However, most importantly I appreciate the integrity of the W. Merrick crew they take great care of the consumer. I highly recommend taking your car to that location.
Had the worst experience with this dealership.Took in a perfectly working car to fix a recall they had and suddenly the check engine light came on . I asked why was it on their response was it came in that way . I made it very clear it wasnt on their paper work also stated that the check engine light was not on. I was was told there was nothing they could do unless I pay for a diagnostic test that to see what the problem is which was unfair since the check engine light came on while they were working on the car. I took the car to the mechanic and right away he told me they messed with with the oxygen sensor because it was a perfect cut . I also had another mechanic take a look and they said the same thing. I called the dealer spoke to a very unpleasant employee who took my information so the manager would call me back . I am still waiting for the call back . Its been two week since. This experience turned me of from Subaru, my family has been purchasing these cars for a really long time because its the best but after this I dont think I would repurchase or recommend this dealer to anyone. I would give zero star if I could.

He provided us with the pros and cons of leasing vs purchasing - no pressure just information.He was very helpful and available to us when we had questions.
