The employees working in the copy center are completely milking the clock. Absolutely no sense of urgency in anything. Walked in and was second in line and some how ended up waiting for over a half hour. What a waste of time.
I have mixed feelings about this review on the one hand the store is well-stocked at the Staples office supply should be on the other hand the copy center seems to be rather chaotic I didnt realize I was standing in the wrong section and literally five people walked past me and not one person bothered to say anything this could be poor customer service training where they are so busy that they couldnt bother to focus on the human.On the other hand when I finally made it to the counter and managed to get the attention of an employee, the transaction took 10 seconds I also like being able to turn in my UPS packages there.Ill give them 4 stars For the services I would give them two stars for the majority of the employees

This is the worst staples I’ve ever come across.. they are extremely slow no matter how much of them is behind that copy counter.. everyone is just walking back and forth with a long line makes you wonder what are they doing.. its only because it was extremely important for me just to get a form print out. Never again.. went in there 5:38pm and finally got to the counter at 6:27..

This place is beyond HORRIBLE. They have no clue AT ALL what they are doing in the copy center. Theres no way it should take over an hour to print anything. They are more concerned about being on their personal cell phones than helping customers. Dont even waste your time speaking to Humpty Dumpty the manager there because his reply is o i lost 5 employees o remember this store won the top 5 that doesnt mean anything when your customer service sucks I AM WARNING YOU STAY AWWAAYYYYY
Terrible. The folks there were kind but out me on hold multiple times and couldn’t get their phones to work. I hate giving 1 star. But I really hope people don’t have as bad of experience as me.

I would very strongly recommend against shopping at this Staples. There were 6 employees behind the copy center, and it took 20 minutes to serve a single customer - the other employees were puttering around and generally being unhelpful. The self serve copy machines were not functional as well. The store itself is well stocked, although crowded, and the lines do not move.

NO ONE on the floor to answer questions. THEN, when I FINALLY find someone to help me, the store computer search didnt even find what I found in my phone for the product in question and the person to help me knew NOTHING. THEN, at the registers, i gave the cashier a $50 bill. NOW he needed approval fornthe bill. After MINUTES passing after making a request on a walkie, I FINALLY changed my form of payment just to GTF OUTTA THERE!!NO ONE GIVES A S&%T!! and then they wonder why people choose to shop online?!!?I rarely go in there anyway. This was an emergency. It will be aother emergency before I ever go in there again!
Im currently on the phone waiting for someone to pick up the phone at this store.Its been waiting to be connected for 15 minutes already... no signs of life from the store so far.Looks like Ill be taking my money to Best Buys instead.
Not happy. Went to print services and they said send the file in email. The file apparently was too big and they only offered the solution of going home, putting it on a flash and then coming back in. Not helpful. Plus the staff there slid the sign in front of me like I couldn’t read it. Won’t be back.

2 of the so called good printer7were not working. Even after reboot and it was restarted twice by the attendant. It will not respond. The only response was removed the debit card,even when there is no card inserted. The staff of a big help and the environment was kept clean. The restroom was also kept clean. Good job staff
Stopped in to get a back-to-school item. Store was well organized, staff was helpful and friendly. Didnt give it five stars because it was a very quick visit and I cant speak to anything else, though seeing that its a chain, the prices will be the same regardless of store you visit.
Staples has staples it has everything you need the difference however between one staples and another is the level of service that you get. While the staff did get us large moving boxes from the back they stood there and watched us literally struggle to get them into a cart and to carry them in three trips we had 15 boxes to the register then no offer of help to load them no offer to get them out of the store and I know this store in Valley Stream in the past has helped us so I dont know if they have a new management or they just dont care anymore but theyre all other Staples that will help you sadly enough this is not one of them
It was pretty busy and still really organized. The staff was very helpful both on floor and cashier. Line also moved at a decent pace. Great experience for back to school rush
Poor customer service, poor job quality and the staff and managers act like you owed them something. Shameful behavior and lack of professionalism. I bought a chair for home office, paid for the assembly which was going to take one hour. At that point, I decided not to rush things and wait. Today, being the following day after the purchase, I showed up with my receipt to pick up my chair. Nobody knows what to do, you know the routine, they call this guy and that guy etc. now I’m mad, get very upset, did apologize for outburst and decided to have them called me. In other words the chair was not assembled.One hour later, got phone call, chair is ready and stuff. Again being nice and all, I mentioned that while my outburst was inappropriate yet it seems some improvement have to be implemented on their part to assure better customer service. Got home with the chair and upon further examination I noticed that the bolts were not fastened properly and that one of them was missing. I have it with this aggravation and decided to go to Home Depot and find the bolt install it and handle the proper installation of the chair. For staples staff all they did was put the bolts in place and covert it. I paid 20 dollars for installation that was mediocre and poorly managed.Staples of Valley Stream LI you have lost a customer and will mentioned to others to never set foot in your store. Shame on you.
Unfortunately, I came with the intention of going in and put quickly since I only needed 3 things but there was an issue with the computer system that controls the register. So it made my wait extremely long but the cashier was positive and patient. Otherwise I usually enjoy my visit to this Staples.
SUPER RUDE STAFF! I spoke to multiple staff members in a kind and bright manner and they all responded with lidded eyes, dull expressions, and one-worded answers. The guy in front of me in line was more helpful than all of them. They’re all extremely grumpy and made me feel very unwelcome.

Ive always liked this Staples, pretty small and low key. Sometimes they dont have sale items in stock when I get there, but otherwise if I really want something they make sure it is at another store so I can head there and pick it up. In this age of brick and mortar stores biting the dust, I hope Staples survives. Every now and then theyve got some crazy good sales.

Im really surprised to see such bad reviews by others. Ive had great experiences at this Staples location. Yes, like others have said, I waited forever once at the copy center, they were really busy and had only one person working. But the manager jumped in to help. Tonight I went there and they were already closed. I was let in to pick up my order that was already paid for. That was really nice and they could have said that I had to come back tomorrow, which I would have understood. Overall, Id say there are really nice, helpful people working there.
Called the store in advance to see if they had the quantity of a certain item, representative confirmed.Then traveled an hour out of my way to get it.When I arrived, they said sorry, we dont have that quantity. Not sure why they told you that over the phone.
I call for and item and was told going to check if its available, I waited on line for 30 minutes and no one came back to the phone, that is very poor, It shouldnt take so long for an answer.

I stood waiting at the print center for assistance for 30-40 minutes while no one said a word n 1 person was in front of me and 3 girls were there! If the manager didnt randomly come over 2 ask me what I need then who knows how long I would be standing there getting no acknowledgment.

Purchased a Verizon cell phone here and specifically asked for the salesperson to add insurance to the phone, which he said he would.My phone fell and cracked two days ago. The cost to repair is $300. I found out from Verizon that I never had insurance on it.And when I called Staples of Valley Stream about this, they denied being responsible and refused to give me any discount towards purchasing a new phone.So now I get to drop $600 out of pocket for a brand new phone.Thank you, Staples of Valley Stream. You have made me never want to shop at a Staples ever again.

The copy center did not acknowledge myself and women standing next to me for a good 5 minutes. The staff memeber that worked with me was extremely rude and helped as little as possible and did not explain much of the process that I was doing. The other staff members did not help any other people waiting for another 5 minutes and there were 2 other people working. I thankfully learned this now and would rather travel 20 minutes to another staples that ever waste time and money here.
Worst customer service experience. Went there for a laptop, waited for more than 1/2 hr. Not even a soul passed by. They lost 3 more clients while I was waiting, no sign of a manager or someone in charge.
I dont want to give my phone number out and they still tell me to. What kind of service is this telling me The system requires it. Some people are just not comfortable giving their phone number out.

The copy center has horrible customer service. I saw 2 woman with light blue shirts bury a newer woman employee by not helping her with her computer while a line of 8 ppl waited. They ignored her while she asked them for help multiple times.

They dont know how to perform any sort of diligent customer service and if youre in a rush or running late, expect to be an additional 45 min late even if you only need to print 5 pages. They dont even acknowledge your presence as a customer. Id rather take a longer drive out, then to come to this location.
