The Pharmacist that works there is very rude. and must be Bi-Polar because i was there 2 days in a row and the first night and she was so nice, the following day she was SO rude that i couldnt believe i was even talking to the same person! i was so taken aback that she disrespected me so much. i needed insulin syringes in an emergency and i was treated like that. I hope she loses her job. As a pharmacist, her job is to help people, not rudely speak to them for no reason. dont recommend at all

I called today and asked a simple question which is if someone gets the covid vaccine at ur location do u offer $100 incentive? Since some places have it not sure if this place has. The person couldn’t answer my question even when it was the right department on phone. If ur reading this and u work at central Ave cvs location pls answer my question since I didn’t get answer on the phone and I was told am being transferred elsewhere (even though I chose correct option). I was transferred back to same main option rather than being transferred to someone who can answer this simple question.

This is strictly in regards to the pharmacy. Absolutely horrible. The lack of organization in this department is far beyond the pale of any human decency. This is on the evening of Thursday August 19 2021. Between the hours of 2100-2200. I was trying to call to see if a could get a liquid form of medication. After calling twice, being on hold for 20 minutes on each call and never being answered I decided to drive to the store. Upon arrival the counter was in complete chaos. Customers didnt know where the lines were, who was next. And the phones were just ringing off the hook. Its very difficult to miss the loud ONE PHARMACY CALL..TWO PHARMACY CALL There were at least 4 staff members and NO ONE COULD PICK UP THE PHONE!!?? Ridiculous. Atrocious. Disgusting. This is a pharmacy where people get medicine they need to LIVE. Its NOT MCDONALDS! Fire the incompetent staff. Sickly people die every day from receiving the wrong medicine if it is going to happen to you it will be from this hot mess. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Unfortunately its 24/7 and because of that its the only one people have to go to.

I never feel so offended in my life, one of the workers, whos name is ryan treated me with a nasty and judgmental attitude, I did not scan a item by mistake, he approached me with an attitude like I did on purpuse, I tried to show him the receipt and open my car so i showed him the items I bought, he gave me this attitude, I asked for the manager, he lied to me telling me he is the manager of the store, I told an educated worker in the front about the situation, and this employee ryan with an agressive attitude saying that i didnt do what he asked, dude you were behind me. Im not returning to this store, you dont treat people like that without matters and with an unprofessional attitude and aggressive, thanks God I have patience, I cant inmagine if it was a lady or a senior .

Shaniya and all the staff here are so helpful from the lovely pharmacists, to security guards as well as store employees. They help provide us with information, coupons, and have the best options of milk, kombucha, coconut water as well as ice cream, nuts, and detergent. This is a very efficient place because the self checkouts are always working. Thanks everybody 😊

August 13 2021. Theres a guy at door that doesnt sterilize his hand before grabbing a mask and handing it to you cuz this store requires u to wear a mask whether u r vaxed or nah and if u have a medical issue or nah. The Walgreens down the block doesnt as of today.

Horrible experience a few days ago. Waited 30 mins for a NASAL spray, over the counter prescription. While I’m waiting, the main pharmacist behind the computer (heavy set African American man..I only mention his looks so you know to stay away if he’s there) had his mask OFF, sucking on a lollipop. How disgusting and unprofessional. Especially during a pandemic!! He was handling medications with a mask off! Never going here again.

They’re good in person, but god help you if you have to call them. Every time I call I’m on hold for at least 25 mins. Not sure why they don’t answer the phones, especially during a pandemic when you don’t want too much person-to-person contact...

Always out of medication here and customer service is just another level of unnecessary stress .My daughter had 6 medication send here in the last month and so far only one was available.I had oxycodone send here, got an automated message saying it was out of order. I called (on hold for 47 minutes before i got helped) the pharmacist said oxy dont come in capsule. I had the doctor resend it in pills and now thats also out of stock.This location is not a place to have your medications sent if youre in a lot of pain or if youre in a critical situation.

By some odd chance, every single medication I have been prescribed, whether it was prescribed 2 weeks ago, or 12 hours ago. They SOMEHOW ALWAYS SEEM TO BE WORKING ON IT when I get there. Strange isnt it?? 100% of the time I have to wait on line to pick up, then wait another 30 minutes for them to start actually filling my prescriptions. At least give us beds, couches, or refreshments while we get screwed out of our precious time.

Pharmacy department is great. Quick and easy refills over the phone. They also call you and remind you when a prescription is ready for pick up. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I needed a glucometer for my mother and they only had one available in stock. They were able to put that aside for me until i come pick it up.

I really like this location. Its very convient for me having 3 children. I can pick up my prescriptions at any time. They work very quickly. I love that I can refill over the phone and they send reminders when your prescription is ready. This is the best CVS in my area

Im a frequent shopper at store #1169 (valley stream, NY.) I shop there for all of my personal items and pharmaceutical meds. Im currently in between insurances and one of the pharmacists, George, was nice enough to take the time to work some magic to get the cost of 1 drug down from $300 to $80! I was floored! Simply amazing customer service. One of the main reasons Ive been a loyal CVS customer for 20 years. Please tell George I said thank you!

Today Sunday December 15, 2019. I took my kids to urgent care and the doctor prescribe them prednisone. I went to CVS at 814 Hempstead Ave and they was sold out of prednisone. A male who was behind the pharmacy counter called multiple CVS stores and they was sold out of the medication. The male at the pharmacy counter gave my husband and I an address to a 24 hour CVS in Valley Stream and stated our medications will be ready at 6:30pm. Upon arriving at the Valley Stream CVS we had to stand in line for 50 mins only to be told they don’t have our medication. I am mad because we had to drive to a second location with my kids coughing and wheezing and the medications was not available. Now my kids have to rely on albuterol until we can get Prednisone. This is unacceptable CVS. You have to do better. Medication is priority.

Most unreliable CVS (photos) I’ve ever been to. The photo kiosk never works properly. I’ve tried to print out photos several different times and it is always a let down. You’re there for over an hour for nothing. Then I tried twice to order from online and when I arrive at the store to pick up prints with more than enough time for it to print out, of course, no photos. They should really work on getting new photo machines. It’s quite ridiculous.

The customer service here is horrible. Lazy, attitude and judgemental looks at the pharmacy. The store is cluttered. Normally, this place is real active and gets messy. The parking lot gets full. Overall, not an enjoyable experience. Avoid this store.

I was done at my doctors office at 1130 am and the medication was submitted to the pharmacy. Its 8 PM right now, my medication is not ready due to being backed up. Been backed up for almost 9 hours? Doesnt sound right.

Worst cvs ever. Pharmacy is ok but the staff is horrible. Why go there when there is two other CVS in the area. Theres no cashiers anymore if there is theres only One person to help and they dont help. This cvs is still there because of the pharmacy. Sooner or later I should say sooner theyll be closing the doors. Management is horrible as well. What a shame I remember when it first opened now its horrible.

This CVS pharmacy is so slow. Was told I needed to wait over an hour for a prescription that my doc sent in 10 hrs prior. Never using them again. Highly disappointed.

Its gotten worse in last 2 years. Unorganized messy very little products on shelves and those annoying grey boxes all over.
