Their macarons are simply to die for! These were the first I ever tried years ago and ever since Ive tried them now and then, both in Indiana, Chicago and abroad and these are still BY FAR the best Ive encountered. I tried them again today and they were just as I remembered; sublimely perfect. They have a delicate outer crunch and soft, chewy inside with lovely filling. Not cloyingly sweet or the wrong consistency. You cannot beat these!

The quality is second to none. The creations are beautiful and initially you almost dont want to eat them because you dont want to destroy something so amazing.You get over that after the first bite. Visual bliss turns to taste bud heaven as the myriad of flavors and scents cascade over your senses.Impeccable. Decadent. Delicious.I highly recommend Evolution.It is worth every single penny and then some!

Definitely wasnt what I was expecting but am happy we stopped in! Great assortment of chocolates to choose from and we got this raspberry passion fruit macron that was amazing!

Literally everything is so insanely good.I dont know how a place with this extraordinarily high quality ended up in Valparaiso (I instead of Chicago, NY, etc) but its out of this world.The whisky infused chocolates are sublime.Try everything. You cant go wrong.If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I would.

Im a fan of macarons, and have purchased them from several different locations. But far and away the best ones Ive ever had were at this establishment. They also make several varieties of beautiful sweets. If this is your thing, then this is definitely a place you want to stop.

Don’t miss it!!!! Some of the most delicious chocolate I’ve ever had! And definitely the most beautiful to look at. We went for ourselves, but it would be a great gift because it’s so pretty. The prices are affordable for handmade chocolate. Our favorite- the stone (we had a jam flavor with white chocolate mousse on a chocolate cake). It’s gorgeous and the texture + taste are so perfect together. I’m sad we don’t live nearby, because I want more!!

Im not a huge fan of chocolate (Im weird, I know), but Evolution has something for everyone. The macaroons are out of this world, too!If youre needing a pick-me-up, try the nitro-coffee.

A nice place... however only a few desserts 🍮 2 or 3 varieties available daily... mostly a candy store.. desserts are good.. However extremely overpricedI would like to see more variety offered.. otherwise as I said this is a candy store🤷‍♀️

Myself, my husband and son make regular trips from Bourbonnais, IL to purchase chocolates at the shop. We have now gotten on a first name basis with Richard and his lovely wife, as they are always the only ones running the shop. They are so personable and knowledgeable. Richard is a true artisan when it comes to chocolate and other confections. I am a self-professed chocoholic and have tried chocolates in several major cities all over the U.S. as well as in several countries. His are the best and that is no small compliment. I always look forward to our chocolate shop Saturday trips!

There arent enough stars to rate this place! The pear tarte is out of this world, and the macarons are, indeed, the real (French) thing--no American buttercream for miles. Try the Pistachio Chocolate one and the Raspberry Rose Lychee. Amazing. Warning: May cause addiction and will ruin Hersheys for you for the rest of your life (as it well should, anyway).
