Amazing food. Everything tasted like Grandma made it. Small little diner, but it makes it a little quaint. Definitely will be going back. The portions are huge, and the pricing is amazing. Treated like a guest at the dinner table.

The place does not disappoint. Delicious food and very generous portions for a very fair price. Staff and owner are all nice and friendly. The place just has a positive and fun vibe. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

1950s dining experience in 2021. No masks, hair in the food, sneezing cooks, and regular customers glaring at interracial couples.The food was good and reasonable.Its a small diner with bathrooms outside. The wait staff was friendly.

I have been going there for over 20 yrs. Ever since this NEW owner took over, the food quality has went way down. We try and visit and support a couple few times a month. The Hugamug platter, what they are very famous for and we really love, has really went down hill. plus the prices we used to pay and what we just paid yesterday and didnt get the quality of food. We are very disappointed. I really hope they step back up with the great food they did offer. the service is still great :)

The food is fresh and delicious in this cozy little restaurant. It reminds me of the small town diners I grew up with in rural Wisconsin. The wait staff is superb and the orders are quick to come out to the table. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

I would never eat here based solely on the owners reply to somebodys constructive criticism. This person gave the reason for his disappointment and the owner fires back with excuses and then says theres other places and good luck. This kind of attitude from a business owner is inexcusable and was considering a doordash order from this place, but no thanks. This owner clearly isnt a good manager. So I guess good luck to you HMD. We will see how long youll last with that attitude. 👍

Well we wanted to give this place a shot after all the reviews we got there last week I have two waiting several minutes one of the regulars by the name of Dave came over and offered us the menu and actually Port us a couple of cups of java we were grateful after the owner waitress came by to take out order I would have to say it was a good 40 minutes when we realize that the only orders that were being cooked prepared with those being waited for pick up by GrubHub or well whatever else is out there after several more minutes and we realized that out order that we had placed a good 40 minutes previously was not going to be worked on anytime soon we stood up

Really great food the coffee was hot and the company was awesome too! Love the little old fashioned style diners its rare to see any of them these days!

Update as of May 24th Hugga Mug IS open despite what Google wants you to believe. They opened yesterday despite Fuhrer Inslees order. Dont like it? Stay home.Great service and appreciative staff and owners. Good food. Will continue supporting with our $$$ for standing up for our 1st Amendment rights.

Not impressed at all. Food is way overpriced. My toast showed up burnt and hard as a rock. Who cant even make toast with butter? Generous portions of sub quality barely even worth eating food.

First time eating here. The food was delicious.

I doubt we will return. On our last visit a week ago the food was unacceptable. Waffle was sponge like very difficult to cut up. Over easy egg was fried hard. The bun (what bun) on my hamburger was flatten like a round disc about 1/2 inch. In the past ours meals we good. Something has changed.

I ordered the French toast meal off of DoorDash and my French toast was literally disgusting. I took one bite and threw it in the trash, and everything else was cold. The other times I have ordered from here it was fine, their stuffed waffles were so good I figured I’d try something else so I am very disappointed. There was no powdered sugar, no butter or syrup as advertised.

Would never recommend this place. We ordered breakfast for 2. Only half of each meal was delivered. Called the restaurant and they said they never had that order come in. ? And what they did deliver didnt taste good at all and Im not the one to throw food away. Straight Trash.

Disappointing.Were got an egg ham and cheese sandwich. Dry and unappetizingstuffed/topped chocolate chip waffle - waffle isnt stuffed was just topped and looked unappetizing. Waffle was mushy when you expect a bit of a crunch to it but it was complete mush. Described in menu as golden brown.Hugga platter - the onions and peppers are raw, the hashbrowns are undercooked. No seasoning and the bacon and sausage slices was undercookedStuffed hasbrowns - decent

This is a nice hole-in-the wall restaurant. Good food, at a decent price with good sized portions. The service is good too.They could use the patronage too as they are fighting to stay in business due to COVID-19 like so many businesses.

Was missing an item from a doordash order and I called them they went over the top of replacing it super friendly cute little place this will definitely be my go to for biscuits and gravy but everything we got was amazing

Food3 out of 5. Older diner but friendly environment. Many locals were eating during my stay. Server and cook not wearing masks or shields. Condiments were sticky from prior use. Probably wont go back due to their lack of covid-19 procedures and non-compliance issues. Are they skipping compliance reguirements with heath department? I dont know. Not worth me finding out.

Randomly stumbled upon this place while looking for a new breakfast spot around town and it did not disappoint! Excellent food at excellent prices. Will definitely be back!

Tried for the first time, been there before when it was a different name. My mothers eggs where undercooked, she didnt eat them, and for what we got the amount charged was too much. I think half of it was our beverages which is a little high for a diner. The table was sticky and the floor was dirty. We had a pancake and sausage links for my 2 year old, mom had 2 eggs and a biscuit and I had a 1/4 order of biscuit and gravy, 2 juices and 2 coffees totaled 33.00. Probably will not try again, food quality, cleanliness and service not worth the amount paid.

We love this place and we so happy to find out that one of the omys staff has become the new owner! The food is so good (possibly better than the old place tbh), the prices are super reasonable and the service is very friendly! When were in they were giving 20% of the proceeds to the family of a local kid who died, which was so good to see! Also we ordered three meals, two coffees and a side of gravy for 41 dollars which was an amazing deal for the amount of food we got because we ended up taking half of all our meals home which is surprising because were not light eaters! Honestly if I could give another star I would!

Nice cozy place good food for the most part, I had the biscuits and gravy but the biscuits could have been left in the oven for a few minutes more as they were not quite done.

Picked somthing up from there not too long ago, I like finding new breakfast places, really cute place waitress was very nice, she showed me there popular item I forgot the name of it but it had eggs and gravy on top of everything and it was amazing took it to work and every one loved it will be back there soon

Arrived. Was surprised to find that Omys Cafe was no more. The menu and friendly staff seem to be carry-overs from Omys. The pepper was not spared on the country gravy, but, we enjoyed the meal in spite of the spice. We will dine at Hugga Mug again.
