Very nice and friendly, extremely helpful and understanding!They called immediately after my gun arrived at their shop to set up an appointment for FFL for the next day.Unfortunately, I forgot to bring something important. Kyle was very nice and gave me an appointment for a later time for the same day to get it done.I can only say positive things and highly recommend them for anything regarding FFL!

Good place to do FLL transfers. Reasonable price ($32) and good service. I like the fact that they do the background check and pickup by appointment only, so I dont have to stand in line.

If I could give zero stars I would!!! I dropped two firearms off to do a name transfer on January 10th. They said there would be a ten day hold which is fine. I called on January 24th and they told me it had not been completed yet. I made my next call on January 29th and they told me that they were having licensing issues and will hopefully begin again soon. My final call was today. When I spoke to them they said they are having licensing issues where Clark County will not be working with them anymore! They have had a few shipments where they took other firearms to another place that are working with Clark County. WHY HAVE I NOT RECEIVED A CALL?!?!?!!? I had to reach out to them to get this information!! They are refunding me which is great but now, Im going to have to pay the other place (so its really not a refund) AND I have to go fill out NEW paperwork and wait ANOTHER ten day hold plus whatever it takes for them to do the transfer!! I AM NOW SITTING AT ONE MONTH WAITING WITH ZERO ANSWERS!!! Why was there NO communication?!In response to the owner:How is is free when i have to go somewhere else and pay? I was told any day now a couple weeks ago and still yet, your place is still waiting.... I now have to drive ALL THE WAY ACROSS TOWN to somewhere I dont even know to do what you were supposed to.....

I highly recommend Tropics Pawn. Ive always had outstanding service, and they are the most knowledgeable, friendly group. The Prices are never too high, and they always have a great selection of high quality items. Plus their ring candles are amazing. And they smell delicious.

ASK FOR KYLE!!! Just completed a gun transfer for this baby and it was smooth as sweet cream butter just out of the churn. Kyle called me along the way and gave me the status. Any negative posts about gun transfers or pawns is because those clowns just got fired from the circus. Cheapest place in town for a transfer too. Most places charge you $50, but it was only $21! All my business will go here from now on.

They told me they do 60 percent of spot when i walk in and then offered 54 percent of spot on gold. Do not come here. They lie and cheat people when they are having a hard time. DO NOT SELL TO THIS PLACE!!! RIP OFFS. WORST PRICES IN THE STATE!...i understand a troy ounce is 31.1 grams...you are assuming my math was referring to an ounce (28.35 grams not 26 fyi) I did the math for a true ounce in your shop when I told you it was not 60 percent you stated I pay 12 dollars a gram...does that change when spot changes??? Your reply to me obviously shows how you treat customers.

Ive been coming in here for about three years. They always have an excellent movie selection and games. Their prices are very nice as well. The staff has always been helpful to me whenever I come in and it is always a joy coming in to see what new things they have bought. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone. Excellent place to buy a wide selection of things.

Ive had a few firearms transfered there as a convenient FFL location, but theyre no longer on my list of candidates for that service after their employees dry-fired a 22 magnums striker head into oblivion whilst I waited to pick it up.

Got knocked off a ladder and broke my hips in 7 places. Got behind on some payments and needed some cash. Went to all the local pawn shops and Tropics was the one place to give me the best price for my guns. It took maybe 4 years to get them out and several times I was past the due date and they let me keep them. Cant thank you enough!!!If you ever need help I recommend you give them them a chance you wont be disappointed 😃

It was my first time doing business with a pawn shop and Im glad I did some homework before coming in. I had a nice HP convertible laptop that was worth quite a bit of money, but wasnt worth a whole lot to pawn (laptops are low demand, the lady I talked to was friendly and polite in explaining this to me). However I was short on cash at the time and figured having an extra $100 would be nice anyway. So, I got a loan for the amount and just paid it off today a month later for $119. Definitely worth checking out if youre short of cash and dont want a payday loan. And their inventory is pretty cool too!

I came in a few months ago bought a laptop for a gift and it then gifted it a month later come to find out the laptop I bought from you guys had a bad WiFi piece which well makes the laptop useless now. I asked one of the employees here at the shop and they told me that all you guys check is that it powers on and types that’s all. I’m out money now and I don’t want others to be out money these electronics need to be test better.

The employees here are always really nice and always willing to help me out with loans or whatever I need. Cant remember the manager name but hes always going outta his way to help me out, when I take stuff in to get a loan he only takes what he needs to get to the amount Im asking for and lets me keep the other stuff instead of taking everything. Other pawn shops Ive been to would never do that, they take everything even if its not needed for the amount you want. They will work with you and help you out with your needs and be happy to do so and not make you feel bad about needing a loan.

Purchased a firearm here for a very reasonable price. The owner and other gentleman helping me were very helpful and the transaction took no more than 10 minutes. Would definitely do business with them again!

Everythings over priced and a rip off

This is a family owned place that has class. The prices are reasonable. And the people are respectful and helpful.

They dont take brand new airbrushes still in the package or a camera for you dash (also still in the box). No straight razers. The girl also said the owner was selling knives for a friend and didnt think they would buy anymore. Honestly? A pawnshop I think not. Very friendly staff. Great price on things. Bought a Samsung tablet a couple of months ago and have had no problems with it at all. And they give good deals on things too. I plan on shopping here more from now on.

Usually have a good experience when I come here, the guys there are good guys and they are very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to most anything in the shop and when I sell I never get ripped off, but I went there today looking for a new pistol and I noticed they were selling used guns with missing parts for the price of a new gun. I don’t think I can ever really come back there to purchase anything knowing I’m not gonna get a deal I’m just going to get the used version of what I’m buying for the price of the new and have it missing parts. Very disapointing I was very excited to get a sweet deal and was told this was the place to go.

I tried to pawn a 500 S&W for $1000,which cost no less than $1300 if one were to buy it;and, they tried to convince me their manager found them for $1050 online, and they couldnt loan me anywhere close to that. They said they were seeing them for that price on gun broker. I explained to them $1050 was the starting bid price,and they wouldnt actually sell for that. So, suffice to say, this Pawn shop does shady business and is just another pawn shop, nothing special or different about it.

I took my gold ring to Americas Pawn on Mill Plain and they offered me $75. Took the same one to Tropics and got $100. Best prices in town!

Been coming to this company for over 5 years now. Before they had multiple locations. The owner has always treated with great respect and I have never been low balled for ANY of my items I have ever pawned, despite other reviews (probably slamming the company because they didnt raise their interest rates like the other shops when Washington raised the allowed interest on loans).I went to a different pawn recently (for the first time because they were the only ones who had what I was looking for) and they are SCAM professionals. Purchased what I needed, brought it home and the item did not work at all (which is the only guarantee they give, is everything they sell works). I brought it back and they hooked it up and said this isnt right. They have the right to repair whatever you buy before determining (at owners discretion) refund or in store credit. So now my stuff is out for repair. If it comes back I already know I wont get my money back, ill be given in store credit. Which they dont have another product in store remotely near what I was looking for in the first place.What Im getting at is if it were Tropics. I know from my history their, I would get my money back because they sold me (which would never happen) a non working product.These guys care about you getting your stuff back if its a loan or giving you the best possible deal if its a sale. They didnt raise their interest for a reason, they are not money hungry and they want to be a solid staple in our community.Top notch company.

Hey this place is really cool, they pay double if not more than what any other pawnshop would offer you. The most bang for the buck type of thing.

Looked at me like I was a criminal for trying to exchange a gift card (wasnt gonna use) for cash because they have a sign outside that says exactly that. Had a ring on me worth 400$ and would only give me 20$. I was born but not yesterday. The diamonds, saphires, and opals on this ring are with more than 20$. I understand the explination the manager gave as far as that when u buy a ring u pay for someone to dig, cut and set the stone but I feel like that was a complete lowball.

Dont go here. These people know you are desperate and are all too eager to take advantage of that. They offered me $50 for a sapphire and diamond engagement ring. I was able to get $350 for it elsewhere. Theyre crooked; go somewhere else.

They cant even search for the right item. I got quoted 70$ for a Traktor S2 MKII with a dust cover. Giving me quotes on a POS MK1.....the dust cover alone used is 30-40 dollars. what a laugh!
