Stopped in to pick up invites that had been ordered online by my aunt states away. Was greeted at the front and pointed over to the print center and the friendly woman who worked there had me in and out in less than 3min. Showed me what they looked like and they even came with envelopes. I was in before work and their customer service and friendly attitude was above and beyond for it being so early in the morning. Thank you!

I had an amazing experience this afternoon when I went in for an online printing order. The print and marketing supervisor Aleena N. provided me with exactly what I wanted. She also provided me with information about a pamphlet folding service that I did not even know was available. I most definitely plan to use this service as it will save me a great amount of time for all my future orders.Great customer service and product understanding.Thank you Aleena.

Walked in, three employees looked at me and said nothing. Oh well. Found what I needed. I asked for an order my wife prepaid for. Couldn’t find it and refused my offer to look at the screenshot on my phone. Someone finally walked over to get my prepaid order. Was obviously a bother. Won’t go back to this store.

Went to pick out a new office chair. After I found the one I wanted, I asked an associate if they had any new in the box. Not only did they not have it new, I had him check two other chairs and they did not have either one new in the box. Asked about any kind of a discount to take the showroom model, as this was also during the heart of COVID. Unwilling to discount the chair, not a huge deal. Asked the associate if he had a tool to disassemble the chair so I could fit it in my car. Went to the front to check out, and the original associate comes over and just hands me a wrench to disassemble the chair. After checking out, I disassemble the chair myself as the cashier stares at me the whole time. Had to make two separate trips to take it out to my car, no one offered any kind of help. Mind you the store is dead, and I was also asked to purchase the “protection plan” 4 times. Similar experience every time I visit Vernon Hills Staples. Lazy and unhelpful staff

Needed specific labels, Staples finally had them. Stood at the register for 20 mins waiting and waiting for anyone to check us out. Nothing. Walked up and down the isles, couldnt get anyone. There was another company there stocking the shelves, thank you to the employees at SAS for actually trying to help us find a Staples employee. I REALLY needed these labels, left them on the register. 0 stars if I could, there is literally no service there and they wont get a dime from me ever.

Seems like you’re a bother if you need to ask an employee a question. Dude looked so frustrated when I asked him if they had a cord for a printer. He looked at his watch and answered in a bs manner. Bro just take yourself home if you’re in a mood

Had to call about troubles with my printer, wanted to see if it was still under warranty. It wasnt, and I asked for help and guidance on selecting a new printer. Elmer, from beginning to end of the call was polite, helpful, and made the process easy! We have been purchasing printers and supplies from Staples for our business for years. If I could give less than a star I would. Experience was horrible, tech service did not help only frustrated and confused me. Ask for manager and after listening to my issue and concern with the tech guy he says I cant help because I am not the manager for the tech dept. 3 workers standing around laughing and beat boxing - yes beat boxing. Staples is spending money to allow these workers to do absolutely nothing. I would be furious if I was an owner and ashamed if I were getting paid and choosing to mess around instead of work. Often i will find a product discounted on the shelf and the item very often comes up as regular price. Seems a bit fishy. Maybe they hope people wont notice that they did not receive discount. Bathrooms very dirty and need a make over.

Tried to order a desk here. The first one that I bought was the last one in store. It had seemingly been unopened but when I started to assemble it there was a vital piece missing! I then tried to return it to get a new one and the manager was unable to figure out how to order the same desk. He proceeded to order me a different desk that was similar, and I was already very upset so I accepted it and left. It has been 3 days and I was curious when it would be here, so I checked the order status page and it said items unavailable? I had to call support to find out this means they dont have this item in stock and they cancelled my order without telling me! I will not shop at Staples again. Terrible customer service and unwilling to compensate customers for wasting their time and money.

Ive visited other offices supply stores and other staple location. I would like to give kudos an outstanding employee, Demi in the copy and print center, Demi has outstanding customer service skills. She put the customer needs first, and the most important for me is that, she listen before given her feedback.
